Brightwood music has been the go to for all your musical questions, needs, you name it, since i first come to living here in the mountains, since before they were located in the plaza, Doug and his family and crew has always treated musicians and customers with the utmost respect and courtesy, welcoming you to come on in and make yourself at home, extremely knowledgable, great musicians, and i have seen Doug work and repair intruments on the fly second to that of a sorcerer. Always willing to help, answer questions, teaching folks music, all around fantastic human beings with admirable qualities. Great prices and quality service for professional violinists! Doug knows what he is doing with bridge making and he suggested strings that brought out my violin\u2019s texture, I\u2019ve fallen in love with my violin (1804) again! A week later, I bought a new bow that he picked out just for me. It\u2019s amazing who a new bow, bridge, and stings will do! Brightwood is everything a music shoppe should be! I will suggest my colleagues and students shop here definitely, you might just be inspired again!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Drove 600 miles to buy a uke from this guy. He was in the middle of a lesson when we walked in and was immediately peeved. I picked up the uke from the bottom shelf and it slid out of my fingers 4\u2033 to the floor. He barked, \u201cBe careful!\u201d. We walked out.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Awesome little shop. For the size of the spot, dude really packs some heavy crates in there. I really enjoyed digging and left with some solid grabs at a decent price.
