I\u2019ve been playing guitar\/bass going on 50 years, in my experience G&s Guitar shop offers exceptional quality and service. George has background as a machinist and decades as a luthier, he\u2019s done everything from set-ups, repairs and new build projects for me.. I am absolutely satisfied. One thing I especially appreciate is he always includes a detailed worksheet of everything he\u2019s done to the instrument. George did an awesome job restoring a Gibson 12string. Even though the guitar was not of high value, by the time George finished working his magic, it looked like a million bucks and sounded amazing! Went to get my Mexican Fender Strats\u2019 electronics repaired and to fix the output jack. He messed with things that I didn\u2019t ask to be touched and when I confronted the clerk Valerie about it she got rude with me. She said that he hadn\u2019t messed with the neck at all, but they gave me this paper that had everything that he had done to it listed out: he messed with the truss rod and neck alignment. She denied that my guitars action was set too low and that it must\u2019ve been a problem before; when the only problem was the electronics. Valerie thought that she knew more than me about the guitar that I own. Before I had even left the shop she was talking badly about me.
