I’ve always brought my guitars to Raul to be worked on. From setups to major work on them. All resulting in excellent playability. I’ve been a long-time customer and always refer my family and friends to him. Thanks, Raul, for the excellent and meticulous work you do!

Brought my Music Man 65 watt head down to get it checked out cause it was distorting at really low levels. He took a look at it for all of 15 minutes, demonstrated the proper way to overdrive my amp, and saved me a buttload of money. Turns out the master out distorts really badly (tone-wise) if the bass is turned up while overdriving. I can see this tech is trustworthy, and he will definitely get my business in the future.

Great service and very fast. My expectations where exceeded. My guitar had nicked frets and a broken piece. He fixed my nicked frets and replaced the piece free. Kf charge. I been so used to my guitar looking raggedy and retired and not it looks clean and new.

3 hours for an Output Transformer replacement. LOL! Either he’s ripping people off or he doesn’t have enough experience to repair in a timely fashion. There are a ton of world class amp builders in SoCal, go to them! This guy is a joke!

We went to Perfect guitar to have a string replaced on my son’s guitar. I brought his guitar to Perfect Guitar in December of 2021 for a string replacement and the service was decent.

I suppose with the restrictions during CV-19 they needed business. Unfortunately, when we went today the owner was rude and flippant. We stated the string broke on my son’s guitar and asked if he could repair the string. His response was “That’s a Guitar store thing.” I told him he fixed it last time which he responded “If I did it was a favor, I’m to busy.” I paid $10 so, it was not a favor.
His response seemed less like he didn’t replace singular strings and more like he didn’t want to do it for us.

I am so disappointed that my sons’ had to witness the ugly side of Whittier. It is a guarantee we won’t return to this establishment and I will tell any one willing to listen about my experience. Businesses like this need to be rooted out. Our community doesn’t have space for closeminded business owners.
