I stopped by with my 12 year old daughter looking for a bass guitar. The staff was friendly, attentive, made sure we had space and time to play a number of instruments, and checked in with us just enough to make sure we were okay. For a music store, it was a really comfortable experience. They had a really nice selection of used instruments and gear in decent shape. Now I have to convince my kid we can only buy one bass instead of the four that she liked.

I had high hopes but just wasn\u2019t impressed. Compared to the Aurora location, this store falls short.<\/p>\n

The guitar area was decent with everything displayed nicely but the biggest disappointment was the amps. All the amps we\u2019re covered in dust and we\u2019re absolutely filthy compared to any other store I\u2019ve been to. NONE of the amps were plugged into the power strips so you had to ask for all the cords and power cables just to try anything. That made trying to really test the sound of any guitar a nightmare.<\/p>\n

The acoustic room was decent but everything good was locked up so one really couldn\u2019t try much without assistance.<\/p>\n

The keyboard section was ok but they definitely needed to be cleaned and at least plugged in for one to try.<\/p>\n

The glass cases displaying pedals, audio interfaces, microphones and other accessories was good and decently organized.<\/p>\n

All in all, it\u2019s an ok store, but some serious attention needs to be paid to the presentation of all items, ESPECIALLY the guitar amps. All items need to be thoroughly cleaned and then put out on the floor with proper presentation with included power cables so every piece can be tested by the customer. No one wants to have to ask for all the missing pieces just to try something out.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nStore owner Jason followed up on his promise to resolve the situation. I stopped by the other day and Jason refunded the purchase in full and made this right. The receipt doesn\u2019t mention needing to have original packaging for returns as Dan originally said, so the return should have been accepted within the 10 days we first returned but because store owner Jason did make this right in the end I am therefore changing my rating from one star to four stars.<\/p>\n

Bought a sax mouthpiece for the saxophonist performing for an event I hosted. The mouthpiece was defective and she was unable to perform meaning the trio could not perform either. We took the mouthpiece back the next day and manager Jason would not accept return of the defective mouthpiece even with the receipt in hand claiming it there was nothing wrong even though the saxophonist is a top performer in the area. We would expect better from a nationwide chain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Every time I buy gear here something is wrong with it. Just paid $60.00 for a set of Gibson Deluxe tuners. Installed them and two of the cover fell off. Someone had cut the tabs off all the covers. I contacted the store online before buying the product online to make sure the store could deliver it within my timeframe. They assured me they would.<\/p>\n

Now it\u2019s the eve of their 2nd missed shipping opportunity and I won\u2019t receive the gear in time. I had to purchase the item new and pay for overnight shipping to make sure I got it in time.<\/p>\n

Between the purchase and now, the store had gone radio silent, despite my sending an additional email requesting information.<\/p>\n

The upshot is that I purchased the gear through a reputable online dealer and will have my gear by Wednesday (today is Monday), rather than whenever the staff of this store decided to get around to it.<\/p>\n

Btw\u2026 \u201cSorry dude\u201d doesn\u2019t cut it. Hope the store manager processes my refund with a greater sense of urgency and professionalism.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

These guys were great! My son joined band this year and we needed to get him a saxophone. I was frustrated from talking to other music stores. When I called I talked to Patrick on the phone, he was knowledgeable and polite. My son and I went into the store to purchase the saxophone we talked about. I didn\u2019t feel pressured to buy anything. When I asked about additional itemsI felt like everyone went out of there way to help get them and make recommendations. This place is a total rip off. When we rented this at my son\u2019s old school, we asked if we could return it and get a different instrument next year if he changes his mind. We were told YES. I\u2019m here now needing to do an even EXCHANGE and because its not an ORCHESTRA instrument that is offered at his new school we can\u2019t exchange it. So we LOST all the money we already put into it.. Nothing but LIARS at this place. Do yourself a favor and DON\u2019T RENT FROM HERE. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE RENTAL PROGRAM if you think you\u2019ll end up buying the instrument later. They lie about the details. I was told several times to keep renting in order to accrue funds to purchase a good instrument but found out after 3 years of renting that only 24 months worth of rental money goes towards buying a new instrument. You\u2019re allowed to use more than 24 months worth to buy a used instrument but they jack the price of the used instrument up so you\u2019re actually loosing money overall. They charged me over $900 for a used instrument (that I can buy on Craigslist for $400,) which cost $1100 new! I reached out to them to correct the issue and they didn\u2019t even bother to reply back to me. DO NOT RENT!!!! Buy a used instrument and you can always turn around and sell it again if you\/your child change your mind about playing.
\nUPDATE: about 6 months after I posted this review M&A finally got around to contacting me about the problem. The service rep I spoke with told me the serial number on our instrument indicated that we had purchased a saxophone. Except of course it was NOT a saxophone. But it might explain why they charged me an outrageous price. The rep had me email some information to customer service and she said I\u2019d hear back from them. I did not hear anything from them for months so I finally called back. I was told they had closed the complaint as resolved.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Well 6 or so years ago my daughter got her violin from here and everything was fine. She stopped after two years. My youngest son has been playing at it for two and a half years, so we needed a larger violin. Now they want to sell him one. I have had that come up in the past but I always said who knows if the will keep going. Well today they bring out this thing of beauty. My son wants it. It\u2019s only for sale. Oh and the one he brought home, he thought it was a viola we had to look it up. Badly out of tune.
\nSide bar we could buy it, but the kid never practices and isn\u2019t good. My daughter was way better. Not to be a you know what.
\nAnyway I ask will you buy it back if he decides he wants to stop. They say no. So we keep renting. What the heck am I supposed to do with a violin once\u2019s he is done? Nothing sells like it use to but really of it was that great why not buy it back. So all in all if this kids goes on to be some great violin guy, then I will buy him one. But a kid nope. \nIf you are testing out brass instruments or such, the practice room they put me in had too much reverb to get accurate samples, even with a recording device. I have yet to ask if they had a more acoustically dry room.

Took 2+ months to fix, when we finally picked it up, some old guy in the store started telling my 16 year old daughter about keeping it greased every six months- lecturing her because it was so dried out! I found Monkton while searching for a Nash Telecaster locally. I emailed the shop to let them know what I was after. The owner was kind enough to email me photos of the guitar before I drove out the next day. I picked it up, strummed it twice, and knew I was taking it home. Easy.<\/p>\n

The shop is clean, organized, and fully stocked with guitars of all levels and prices. The staff was polite and helpful and made sure I had a quick and easy experience shopping with them. While it\u2019s a little further out than I\u2019d normally like to go, I\u2019ll definitely be coming up with reasons to drive to Broomfield to shop with them.<\/p>\n

great place to try and buy, they know their stuff and are super nice and willing to help you find what you\u2019re looking for. they have great recommendations and will let you play whatever for however long. very cheap for repairs and guitar work, much cheaper than other places. got my frets leveled\/crowned and it sounds fantastic, however they did kind of gauge\/scratch the neck on several frets. sucks, but not a huge deal as it\u2019s not a high end guitar and the price was right ($60). again, sounds great but i would be weary of bringing a higher end model in as they weren\u2019t very careful about taping off the neck to avoid cosmetic damage.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

do not take your guitars here for repair! simple jobs will end up being 2 hours in labor charges. they will take your working guitar and send you home with a non-working guitar. they will mix up the wiring on the pots. they will give you pots too large so your knobs have a huge gap underneath. unbelievably unprofessional and incapable.<\/p>\n

EDIT: The business response is not a fair respresentation. First guitar, volume pots wired backwards. Second guitar, repair only lasted the car ride home. Second fix only lasted the next car ride home. Third fix, incorrect tone mapping and too large of pots. Every single trip a problem. Why would I go back?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This place is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in the entire Denver area and we ain\u2019t exactly close to Denver out here. Great menu, tons of choices and the best part is they have so many authentic dishes you could try something new for like 30 visits. They have Molcajete!! That is something you don\u2019t see very often. Food is fantastic, service was great, cool menus and big tables for large parties is another nice touch. I brought these guys a tube amp to sell to them and the kid checking to see if it works obviously doesn\u2019t know to use music gear. He turned it on and played on it for a few minutes and it worked fine, then he proceeded to hit the power and standby knobs down at the same time and completely broke my amp. Then They offered me $60 for a $700 amp.
