This is more than just a record store. They do have a lot of records from all genres but they also have a ton of audio gear. Not cheap KMart\/Walmart stuff but real audio gear. Marantz, McIntosh, Klipsch, Pioneer, Sansui and more. Pre amps, amps, speakers, turntables, cd players, reel to reel everything you need to set up a top notch system. I am a pawn shopper most of my life. I have about 20 years in this business. These guys are hard to deal with on prices and sometimes service is lacking. They are fairly friendly and professional but if you want help you will have to ask. I have bought some things from here at a fair price but its difficult. Even after showing them prices on grabagun or gun broker. I go there twice a week for years along with other pawn shops from Montgomery to prattville. Their other shop in troy is even worse. There are other pawn shops that are more about make sales and customers rather than trying to get the highest dollar from one customer. It seems like they have allot of good reviews. Let me start by saying the staff at Capital Pawn has always been great. They have been very helpful in every way and I wish nothing but the best for them. Today I am in the store picking up a item I had won and needed it transferred to me legally. I found out that they were taken over\/purchased by a company called \u201cSMART Financial\u201d out of Orlando FL. This company no longer allows Capital Pawn to buy or sell any AR-15, AK-47, AR-10\u2026.no assault rifles. They also will not allow any gun transfers.
