Went to this store for the first time today and was helped by Trista. Their safety protocol during COVID-19 was diligent and thorough with masks and social distancing required and plenty of signage advising against touching merchandise. I felt very safe. I bought a short-scale Ibanez bass while I was there, and Trista offered to clean and restring the bass for free! She also went the extra mile to be friendly by learning my name and calling me by name during our conversations. I would highly suggest this store to friends and will absolutely be back.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I signed my daughter up for beginner violin lessons and out of 8 weeks of lessons 3 were cancelled \u2013 one of them we sat and waited for 25 min before they said the teacher wasn\u2019t coming. I understand that emergencies happen once in a while but it turned out to be way more of a hassle to try to schedule make up classes or get my money back. Very unreliable and disappointing.

I stopped by to check out an amp and possibly trade mine in. Michael and Brandon were both helpful, and while I understand they\u2019re not the ones who come up with pricing, the $170 I was offered for my Line 6 Spider Valve 212 Bogner was laughable.<\/p>\n

Very cute coffee cafe whether you are meeting up with friends and catching up or studying. We happened to be visiting in the area and stopped in since close to our hotel.<\/p>\n

The staff took our order and were very business only. We enjoy staff telling us about customer favorite coffee and food selections but interaction was short.<\/p>\n

We ordered a caramel latte and a cafe con Leche. It took a bit of time for our ordered items. It was pretty busy in there with a handful of staff working. My husband and I ended up sharing his latte\u2026.as I wasn\u2019t a fan of mine.<\/p>\n

They also have a food menu brekafast and lunch selections and a baked goods didplay of pastries and more. We ordered 4 different flavored empanadas\u2026.. they were just ok for us.<\/p>\n

Prices were a higher then average. Plenty of indoor seating with a few tables outside.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This is my second review about anything I\u2019ve experienced with the other being Amazon. Out of fairness, I would say this visit had potential to be pleasant but was unfortunately not. We waited at the counter about five minutes before being able to order, staring at mounds of dirty dishes behind the counter. The guy at the register was torn between cleaning a blender, making coffees, and ringing up orders. We ordered two meals and two coffees, totaling about $50, with gratuity paid ahead. When asked where we would sit and gently reminding we would be dining in, we were told there\u2019s seats outside. There wasn\u2019t so we ended up sitting at the business next door.<\/p>\n

15 minutes later our coffees came out and were initially delivered to the wrong table, who we would come to find out were subject to the same service as us. 45 minutes into waiting I went inside to request our food in to-go boxes. We already wasted too much time sitting around for our food. The same guy at the counter didn\u2019t know what happened with our order and, upon checking, told me that they would make it now and box it up. I\u2019m confident that we\u2019d of been sitting there another hour if I didn\u2019t go up and ask. Both meals were not well done and we didn\u2019t even eat them. Wasted an hour and $50 on two coffees.<\/p>\n

We weren\u2019t the only ones that appeared to be forgotten or stuck waiting for a significant amount of time. Unfortunate waste of time and money.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

So I cancelled my coffee order and just asked for the guava pastry to-go. Hostess tells me \u201cyou are going to have to wait for that too because other customers are ahead of you\u201d. I was attended to both over the phone and personally by Rene and am so pleased with the attention he accorded me. He was quick to secure everything I needed and even came up with suggestions for all other needs that I have overlooked related to what I had bought. He did all these with a smile and enthusiasm. On the other hand, I suggest, a more welcoming, smiling somebody be assigned at the front desk. She displayed a look that does not give a happy disposition in what she does.<\/p>\n

The employee was unapologetic for the issue, got an attitude, and blamed me. Absolutely the BEST thing I did for my daughter when we moved to Orlando. If your child has any interest in playing music, this is hands down the best place to be. The kids are so welcoming and my daughter has just blossomed. She absolutely loves going to classes. We drive an hour 4 days a week because nothing can replace the smile she has on her face. Both of my boys have had excellent experiences at Orlando School of Rock. Wes and the team work hard to run a great program and did a great job matching our kids to the right instructors for them. They participated in everything from the week-long summer day camps, to show season programs, to house band. The staff encourages all kids to stretch and try new things to fully explore and grow their musical ability. In particular, putting on and performing shows at real venues throughout Orlando gives kids a \u201creal world\u201d band experience that can\u2019t be duplicated in other private lesson programs. Our time at School of Rock has helped to round our kids out as musicians and also helped strengthen their love of music and embrace it as a viable career option.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

They don\u2019t teach how to learn to read notes or how to play the actual instrument. They make you memorize the keys to hit. For example; \u201chit 4th key twice then 6th key once\u201d that is NOT teaching. A piano book does not say \u201c4th key twice and 7th key once\u201d a piano book has sheet music with notes, in which the students should be learning, so when they go out to learn their own songs they can read the music. They should learn notes, what each symbol in sheet music means and most importantly, HOW to play the songs and not memorize them. Maybe other schools of rock don\u2019t have this issue but I would not recommend going here. Waste of time and money.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

My son spent a month at the academy and it was one of the worst experiences we could have. My son attended classes on Wednesdays and on Saturdays. On Saturdays they rehearsed for the band. the last two weeks the teacher \u201cNick\u201d did not want to teach him because he would not continue and he told my son who is only 16 years old that he was not wasting his time with him if he was not going to continue. If I pay for a whole month of classes, I have the right to demand all the classes during that month. That means that it should be much denser than ice cream, yet creamier, which is what justifies the higher cost.

The older girl moved and asked him again what he wanted\u2026.yes words!! She slapped the gelato in the cup with chunks dropping off mixing in the other flavors, on his hand and the floor. There were no napkins in the dispensers. The other 2 still just standing and staring at us didn\u2019t speak or move. The young blonde just stood at the register staring at us like a zombie. My son addressed the male teen working and gave his order and he just stood there and pointed to the girl that just did my husbands order, my son asked him if he should ask her and the teen just shrugged. Forever and a day later this one girl scooped 2 orders and the guy did 1. Still no words. My son asked if I ordered, since my husband was now done eating his, and the girl with long blonde hair still stood at the register staring at us. None of the asked if there was anything else. I asked if I could order and again, they just stood there staring. The same girl said sure. I gave her my order, she scooped it handed it to me and all 3 simultaneously sat down. I asked if we could pay and again they all looked at each other to see who would move. It was literally the worst customer service ever. Terrible management!
\nThe gelato was MEH. One was tased freezer burned, one had sandy ice crystals in it, another was slimy with a gummy coating on top. The other cup had a variety of different gelati that slopped out of all the other orders previously that you could tell what flavor it really was. It was not good gelato or a good experience. Bar Taco has better gelato! We won\u2019t be back. My teenage kids said it was like meeting our clone is the movie US. A few words from my personal experience.<\/p>\n

Whilst the store has a well stocked, etc the key elements overall come with how you find your experiences up to the very end.<\/p>\n

Some words of advice to whoever manages this Walmart.<\/p>\n

If your staff are unhappy. Clear them out. There\u2019s a fair few staff in here that really do not want to do their job or are certainly in the wrong parts of the store. (if they don\u2019t like customer facing, then get them back of house)<\/p>\n

Open up more cashier points that serve customers and get friendly staff on the checkouts! Not everyone wants to do self serve. It\u2019s a lazy way of trying to get people in and out of your store.<\/p>\n

Stop your cashiers from bagging for customers. You should visit a Lidl or Aldi in the UK. You are served in next to no time. Your cashiers can then get queues down much faster, making their lives and jobs a little easier and also a customer probably wants to pack their own shopping. The amount of plastic bags used on my $400 shop was just insane! Absolute waste and your store probably accounts for tonnes of plastic waste just with its bags.<\/p>\n

And finally. Get your grumpy cashiers off tills. They are there to serve. If they don\u2019t like it, then why are they there? The lady that served me was just a whole new level of both rude and lazy. We had an item with no barcode. It was the last one. We wanted it for our 4 year old daughter. We were just told \u201cthere\u2019s no barcode on this\u201d. The item then put behind the till. No effort to put a call out for another staff member to check, nothing! My wife then had to go and find an alternative just to get the item we wanted and all the time this was happening, more customers were held up.<\/p>\n

Seriously, is this the customer service of 2022 and of Walmart?<\/p>\n

Lastly, your people that check receipts upon leaving. Why is this person there? Absolute waste of staff resource. You\u2019re not Costco!<\/p>\n

All we wanted to do was to get out of the store in the end after waiting 20 minutes to get through the checkout (only 2 tills manned also, so you are asking for delays)<\/p>\n

The lady checking our shopping really put the icing on the cake of what was a terrible experience shopping here.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t stop a customer with a $400 trolley if you are already checking someone else\u2019s purchase which takes you about 5 minutes to do! The other customer had one item and it was like they were being interrogated on their purchase!<\/p>\n

So a message for management. Sort out your store and staff. Your customers who keep your operations running may just appreciate it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
