Great place to shop. Not many people shopping around.
Clean friendly courteous service a lot has improved at this location seriously
Went inside with a friend to pick out sumn to eat from the deli area ..sub and salad..their self check out registers had a better lay out as far as easy access and easy exit compared to the anniston location where I live and shop in Calhoun county ..they have a boxed in area that’s more like a coral for animals!!! …my friend had to use the money services as well, very friendly employee.
Went on Saturday nite 10 pm . No Che k out lines. Alk do it yourself. Dollies blocking all isles in back. Had to shove my way thru.
Its Wal-Mart
I change my post to a 2 because I’m on an anti Walmart wait! Thought I read where a Walmart Distribution Center had a fire and that concerned me because shortages are created!
Some of the rudest people
Sometimes fun …

Awesome. Very entertaining, a lot of fun. Especially when you’re winning
I won a little nice time .
Loved it!
Had a good time
Good place to shop and eat. Don’t stay too long or you may get addicted to the place.
I have not been there since January 2020. I was excited to see the efforts made by the casino to help mitigate the spread of Covid-19. We ate at the Grill. The food was delicious.!
Couldn’t win no money
Atmosphere was ok.
The food on the buffet is very bland and limited selection for such an expensive price
Just an amazing DJ. He knows how to increase or decrease the energy perfectly based on the crowd and situation.
I’ve known Dj Oz for a several years. Definitely brings the party with him. Highly recommend the services he provides.
11/10 would recommend! Professionalism with pizzaz. Looking for just the right remix for your get together? This is the right one-stop shop. Everything you need from equipment to creativity, and all with a smile. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Es un lugar muy agradable para practicar el canotaje, el río es muy grande.
My first time going down the Coosa River! With this being my first time kayaking down the Coosa I wish I had someone who was very familiar with the river go with us so we would have gone down the easy way (if there is one) and maybe I wouldn’t have fallen out of the kayak three times! We were told where to go but being the first time on the river and not knowing what island and rapids/whitewater names are made the float down confusing! Maybe next time I’ll get a map and ask where I should go!
Overall we all had a great time and I have a half dozen “Coosa River Tattoos” from the rocks and my knee fighting in the rapids when I fell out…lol! I’m going to try it again one day but not in my foreseeable future! Thanks Chris for helping me make great memories with my kids!
Had a great time will definitely go back
Very friendly and funny staff. Great adventure for the price. Only downside was that in mid June with little rain there was barely any current to the river so VERY sore arms at the end of the trip
Safety not there no one issues. Owners pretty rude as well.
Good
Asked a simple question via facebook about inner tubing. My daughter wanted to find a different area to float this summer.
I was informed that they not only do they not support tubers but that most of them are rude, don’t respect the river and make poor safety choices… along with a picture of things other people have done.
The response was rude and unprofessional. Basically labling anyone that wants to lazily float and watch turtles in the water as redneck trashy beer drinkers who litter. We definitely will be crossing any summer adventures with this place off our list.
Word of advice- sounds like you guys might want to look within yourselves on making poor choices and being rude.

Super knowledgeable guy that Mr Lisenby. I’ve known him since I moved to the area and he has always been a key asset to the local music scene. He just keeps getting better with age!
Great deals
Great customer service and friendly staff! Would recommend to anyone.
Lance and Tracy are nice folks. They have a good selection of strings and accessories. Neat place for obscure instruments.
14. The Humane Society Of Elmore County Tail’s End Thrift Store
Address: 255 Central Plank Rd, Wetumpka, AL 36092 , Wetumpka , Alabama , United States
I bought a harness for a dog. They let me take the harness to the car and try it on the dog before I bought it to make sure it fit. Better than going somewhere else and having to buy it and take it back and all the trouble that entails
It is a thrift store that is for supporting animals
Nice, clean store. Benefits the local humane society.
I don’t often go into thrift store but this one was a good experience. Everuthing was organized and clean. That had awesome deals for glassware. I bought 4 really nice glass goblets for $4 a gold tone fashion necklace for $1 that was new and a big toy shark truck for $3 that actually worked when we put batteries in at home.
The staff is very helpful.
Rude employees/volunteers some stuff is a little pricey

Big selection of brews. Kinda expensive for inexpensive beers.
Love that there is so much on tap. You can get a flight, a full or half glass and they let you test test for free. Great beer and laid back atmosphere. Wish they had more outdoor seating.
Nice place to sample a variety of beer.
God beer. Pestered by a regular. Staff did nothing to rectify situation.
21 and up only…if you’re a family don’t plan on stopping in
Visitors need to be aware that, though this premises had the atmosphere of a warm craft house, this is not a family friendly bar. We were (politely) asked to leave because no one under 21 was allowed; that comment only being applicable to my 8 month old baby. I will refrain from speeches about ”how behind the times a business like that is” or how “they are shutting out a desirable and wholesome set of clientele” or how “any city of healthy, growing businesses generally include the increasingly popular family bar/brewery setting” or how “Wetumpka is only further digressing from the potential that the downtown area has to offer by antiquated policies such as this”. Perhaps this is a result of a Wetumpka law I am not aware of but regardless, come on Alabama, get with the times.
18. Wetumpka Flea Market & Antiques
Address: 5266 US-231, Wetumpka, AL 36092 , Wetumpka , Alabama , United States
Wonderful thrift store. Everything has such great prices. Millions of books. I was in there for hours just for the books.
Flowers beautiful and economical.
Just ok.
The ladies were nice and gave information about their town.
Great experience in the setup, definitely like stepping back in time. That said, the prices were quite a bit high. There was lots of things to look at – from a Coca-Cola section, to books, to cast iron items. We had fun just looking at stuff, though.
I was initially very impressed with their store. It has a very large selection of unique items and also some good deals. However, today when I visited, I noticed quite a bit of racially insensitive items being sold and also displayed openly. I do understand that they can’t always control what is being sold. But they need to be cautious. There are quite a bit of “mammy” and black caricature peices. People could potentially view this as a bigotry supported establishment. Even if that isnt the case. I hope they address this and it’s improved before they lose other customers.
Better watch out they will close 10 minutes early just because they can.
Even if you know exactly what you want.
Owner/manager very rude. Prices TOO HIGH! Had rather keep the junk, than sell at reasonable price. Me and my family and friends will not be back in this store again!!! KEEP YOUR JUNK!
Try East Brook Antique and Flea Market in Montgomery, Alabama. Where people are very friendly and treat you like family and prices are very reasonable. They also serve coffee and cookies to the customers.
19. Taste at The Fain

My husband and I stopped in for the first time this past week and bought a bottle of wine and a cheese board. What a wonderful addition to Wetumpka! The staff was super friendly and informative. They have a great selection of wine and cheese. I love that they also offer art from local artists. The atmosphere is fabulous! I can’t wait to attend one of their socials or Saturday mimosas!!
This store is one of the BEST things about Wetumpka! The owners are so gracious, continually going out of their way to make sure that customers are taken care of. HIGHLY recommend to anyone wanting a unique experience in a beautiful location.
Amazing space. Great selection, wonderful service. Just a great time.
While I don’t drink, the cheese selections were lovely and the chocolates even better. The ambiance was nice and you can see the remnants of the old movie theater that was the original business.
Good assortment of cheeses but can’t wait for the wine and cheese tasting. And just for the wine to start coming in. Good service.
Owner is knowledgeable of the wine selection that he has procured. Cheese case has a great assortment, and what I am told changes regularly. They are getting ready for some big changes…it can only get better.
