The men there were a very much on the ball with all the amps and my concerns were beyond met.
Amazing… and a drum room …
Adams a cool guy helped me out
Need more fender electric and
Reverend guitars
We have been visiting The Guitar Center for years.i have a Fender American Stratocaster that I do not play as often as I used to because I am now a seniorBut I still enjoy coming to this place to see the merchandise. There usually is someone around who is taking one of the guitars for a spin.We are always impressed by these young musicians Also The GuitarCenter employees are very helpful
Better know what you want before you get there, sales guy was a bit spaced out!
I recommend everyone open what ever they buy from this store, i just purchased a brand new ALTO Loudspeaker drove all the way home to find out the speaker has been heavily used, scratched, colored on and nicked in several places, i can’t believe the employees at this store are not checking what other people are returning (See Pictures), even the power cable is missing. Guitar Center, please hire more competent people.
This Guitar Center has a lot of new items, a great selection, and is very clean. However the management is rude, especially if you don’t want to pay for the warranty. It is one thing to promote a service such as financing, string club, or warranty; but the extent it is taken here is far too aggressive and extreme. I recommend going to a different Guitar Center such as Coconut Creek or West Palm Beach.
I understand why they are closing stores. Lesson booking is always wrong, brought in a guitar for restring it sat there 5 days and wasn’t touched. Needless to say we booked lessons elsewhere and had the restring done at guitar-hospital in 15 mins. Sad to see such a beautiful store so poorly managed.
7. Guitars from Spain
Address: 1498 SW 1st St, Boca Raton, FL 33486 , Aberdeen , Florida , United States
My experience with Guitars from Spain was excellent. Was looking for a really nice guitar (for my wife’s birthday) and stumbled upon this site. Talking to Eduardo was a pleasure, this guy knows his business like no other. The Spanish guitar I ended up buying is superb. My wife loves it!
Many years ago I had played jazz and folk guitar for a long time, taking jazz lessons for over 7 years, but when I was completing my dissertation I had to stop the guitar and had not touched one for over 2 decades. I went online to find a guitar center near me.
I did not want to purchase an unknown guitar online without holding it, feeling it and getting a sense of the quality and tone. Before meeting Eduardo at Guitars From Spain I had visited a different guitar shop, received no service and a judgemental attitude that I should choose a small guitar (even though I knew the sound quality would be lessened) because of my body type. Reluctantly, they finally let me “touch” the small guitar and with even more resistance they finally let me hold one of their larger guitars. They explained nothing about the quality of their guitars, whether they were real cedar or laminated fake wood. I would not trust their judgement on what type of guitar I should buy.
So it was with pure delight that I contacted Eduardo. I wanted to love my guitar the way I had loved my old Segovia guitar from Spain so many years ago. Eduardo offered me the information, insights, assistance and support I needed to make a wise choice.
When I arrived in his studio office he had 5 guitars ready for me to touch, play and get a feel for. I knew immediately which one felt perfect for me. Eduardo sat with me, explained carefully about the different qualities of guitars and how they are made. He showed me a video of a factory in Spain where my guitar was hand crafted. And then he insisted I have a guitar lesson to create good body mechanics and practice habits from the start. Now, a week later, I am thrilled with my guitar, slowly practicing scales and chords and restoring my memory of what it feels like to strum my songs.
This place is for the serious buyers. Excellent quality on every guitar plus guitars from luthiers that you would not see on a regular music store. Really friendly and serious people. I really recommend it, if you are looking for a good quality guitar instrument visit Guitars From Spain. I had the best experience there.
8. Melody Acres Music, Lake Worth
Address: 6250-7 Lantana Rd, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33463 , Aberdeen , Florida , United States
LOCAL GEM! The owner is so knowledgeable and helpful, they have really cool instruments here and fancy rockers guitars! Definitely a must see if you are into music. They also do lessons for a variety of ages.
My son has been taking drum lessons for almost a year and we are more than happy to finally been able to find a music school with teachers that actually know what they’re doing. (My son previously attended a place in Boynton Beach where he learnt nothing)
Corey is amazing and my son is extremely satisfy with his progress. Carlos the owner is always more than accommodating whenever we have schedule issues due to my work schedule.
I definitely recommend this music school to whomever wants to learn to play an instrument for real.
The owner was fantastic! My daughter’s trombone was sent here from the Wellington location to be fixed. It didn’t get delivered back to the Wellington location in time for me to pick it up before the first day of school so Carlos offered to have it delivered to my daughter’s school which is quite a distance from the store. It was delivered as promised at 8:30 in the morning! Their customer service was great! Would definitely use them in the future again.
Nice place has lot of equipment, dropped off 2 guitars to get serviced. Will update when job done
+++++++++1 about what previous reviewer “lenporter” says: Bari and Shaun are awesome, knowledgeable and personable. They not only instill confidence that they’re going to do it right, but when you pick up your amp or guitar or pedal, etc., the repair, mod, set-up or whatever is in better shape than was even promised. These folks will guide you with advice if you need it, talk you out of spending big bucks if you don’t need to, and generally just treat and service you like it’s supposed to be done.
Great shop. Good with old tube amps.
Were good nice guys and womens
Really nice folks but they weren’t able to fix an amp that another place fixed easily
This has been a reliable location for many years
Sold me an amp for $130 that they didn’t even check at half volume (cuts out) and called that “fully serviced” and couldn’t do anything for me when I complained bc I live out of state.
Closing early on a Friday during season? Bad business practice. Sitting outside your shop at 4:45pm. Call ahead or schedule an appointment with these guys

ALWAYS THE BEST/SERVICE!!! YOU DON’T FEEL ATTACKED AS SOON AS YOU WALK IN!!! Very-Important … Anyways Im On My Way There In A Few/Minutes!!! See Ya Soon!!! C-TRIPLE-7-DANKNESS
A Mom & POP store with heart and soul. Many services: instrument rental, repair, accessories and advice. Accomodating.
They have great prices, but they are awful at repair. I went there 4 times for the same exact problem that was never fixed
good to have a place to go that really knows how to work on instruments. I brought my old clarinet for restoration and they did good job.
I wish they had someone with luthier experience. I wanted to learn the viola and I may be a beginner but I took the time watch YouTube videos on how to handle the instrument. The employee’s there touched the bow and now it doesn’t make a sound! I’m stuck with a non working Viola until my rental period is up! The employees and owner need to make an effort to understand each instrument.

A great little place to purchase music-related items including $1 sax swabs, $15 oboe reeds, lots of music books with solos and duets (including a Harry Potter themed one), and instruments (there’s a picollo trumpet!). The man there is very good-natured, quite nice, and treats the customers well. I highly recommend coming here!
Great horn and guitar place for both lessons and repairs
Mr Webber is probably one of the best lesson teachers in the county!
Took me about 2 months for an oiling
Great friendly service.
Knowledgable, friendly, and has good info. He will suggest an expert or resource if he is unable to help himself. Support your local music store and local musicians whenever you can!
Posted hours are not honored, so be sure and call before you go. Several times we have tried to stop by
15. Backstage Music Network, Inc.
Address: 1351 W Palmetto Park Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33486 , Aberdeen , Florida , United States
I took my chronically broken French horn in for a repair and it came out playing beautifully. I have been to other music stores and had gotten repairs done but my horn always fell apart again afterwards. I think this time it will be fixed for good.
This is my first ever reviewing something and I would give more then 5 stars if I could so I got my first guitar back in June and my aunt was looking for guitar lessons because I have never played an instrument in my life and then we found back stage music and I started lessons on the 3 of last month and I have learned so much more then I would learn on my own in a month these guys know what they are doing so if you are looking to learn an instrument go to this place and I really love the way they teach they help learning an instrument fun to do
Great place with knowledgeable friendly folks. I got my Strat set-up and it is perfect. I dropped it off and got it back the next day. Highly recommended!
Small store with limited quantities of product. Although if they should run out of a product they are able to re-order any product you may need. The store was out of French Horn Standard Essential books but they were able to order one for us and have it available for pick up the very next day. Customer Service is great and prices are reasonable – received a text message from Backstage Music when the book arrived in store and was ready for pick up.
I’m seeing all of these fantastic reviews, yet my guitar I took in came out of the setup in about the same condition than before, except with new strings. There are still issues like fret buzz and a faulty bridge pickup. The action was set up inconsistently, with my high E string choking out when I bend it higher than a half step. I’d never try to talk down on a small business like this, but this was just the case. With my poor review being an anomaly however, I’m sure that my guitar was a fluke or a bad day for the tech. No disrespect or hard feelings towards him.
This is good place and they are kind. But if you are a professional musician who are using professional instrument and looking for a repair shop, I don’t recommend here.
16. Music Man
Address: 179 N Jog Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33413 , Aberdeen , Florida , United States
After a couple of transactions I will say they are prepared and very helpful for any situation. Open at 11am sharp.
We had the most amazing experience here. From the moment we entered we were greeted with friendly enthusiasm. The team helped us out of a situation and were so kind and patient. We are so grateful and thankful and will be back!
Nice and helpful. Tuned my daughter’s violin for free. Even though it’s a cheap one
It is good place to buy musical instrument especially related to wind instrument such as saxophones, trumpets, flute, clarinets, and etc. I bought mouth piece for soprano saxophone for my dad, and he really loved it. You may feel it is really small in size, but there is no place like this in WPB. Additionally, you may spend time to find out where the Entry is if you are the first time visit.
Excellent teachers
Excellent location and wonderful customer service
They lied to me
Ok
I have purchased three clarinets for my daughter from Music Man, with the last one being over $3600 (Buffet R-13). The “brand-new” clarinet was damaged. We had it repaired from an outside person since my daughter needed it immediately for college auditions and we had been told by Music Man that the repairs would take three weeks. I received a phone call from the manager, Chris, asking for copies of my receipts. He then told me that he would submit the receipts to Buffet for reimbursement. After I submitted the receipts, Chris told me (A MONTH LATER) that he didn’t know why I had dropped off receipts for reimbursement and there would not be any reimbursement since I had taken it to elsewhere for repair. He even went as far as to say that he had never called me and had no idea what I was talking about, even though he had asked to speak to my daughter about what exactly needed to be repaired, as there had been other Buffet clarinets that needed to be repaired. After spending over $7000 at this store, I feel their customer service is horrible. Will never recommended it to anybody.
17. Boynton Beach School of Music, Dance & Drama
Address: 9804 S Military Trl Suite E-2.7-9, Boynton Beach, FL 33436 , Aberdeen , Florida , United States
Best school in south Florida
My 6 year old started taking piano and singing lessons, he likes it so much. His teacher makes it so enjoyable that my son actually asks me to go music class. He also takes theater classes now and he loves it!!!
Thank you everyone so much for all you do for our kids 🙂
The staff and instructors are friendly and the atmosphere is very positive! My daughter enjoys all of the classes she attends. I highly recommend the school for children of all ages!
I absolutely love this place! Ms. Diane is amazing and truly cares about the development of each child. She is incredibly talented, kind and patient with the students. It has been so exciting to watch my children’s love of music flourish! Thank you Ms. Diane & staff!
Very disappointed in this dance studio. We decided to pass on the dance recitals for my daughter and that’s when everything took a toll for the worst. Unacceptable!
Front desk manager very rude, not children friendly.

Very Friendly staff helped me with my daughter saxophone repair. I would recommend the Music Man and especially that location. They have reasonable prices and are very knowledgeable about different music instruments.
Great store. Awsome people
They are good at what they do. They give you honest quotes for what might be needed.
Good variety of instruments and accessories. Helpful friendly staff. Good prices
Great store for instrument rental.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR STRING REPAIRS. Or, frankly, repairs in general. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. I originally brought my viola to the store in Port Saint Lucie to be repaired and was told that it had to be shipped to the West Palm Beach store where the actual repair shop was. Seemed reasonable enough at the time. But this store then held my viola for well over a month, and started constantly making excuses as to why I couldn’t have my viola. Not only that, but it was impossible to get ahold of anyone at the store by telephone. I called time and time again and left numerous messages, but I was rarely able to get in touch with anyone until I actually spoke with the repair person. First it was that I didn’t tell them how I wanted it repaired (I did. Twice.) Then it was that the repair person only works weekends (she herself told me that she would come in and fix it on a weekday if needed, but they didn’t seem to care about that), and then it was that they couldn’t ship it back to the Port Saint Lucie store. Then, finally, when I finally got them to ship it back, they did it LATE. It is well over a month later and I STILL do not have my viola because of the terrible customer service. I’ve missed over 10 lessons now because of this. DO NOT go here for string repairs; they are simply understaffed.
I used to come here to have my instrument cleaned for years and will no longer be doing so. Repair shop is unwilling to accommodate professional musicians that are time sensitive. And no, I won’t be leaving my instrument that I make a living with with you for 7-10 days. That’s completely unacceptable. I even offer to pay extra for the rush. Insane. This would never happen in New York, Boston, LA, San Francisco, Dallas, or any city with pro music shops.
Trash. Not in a good way.
20. Village Music Wellington
Address: 10410 Forest Hill Blvd, Wellington, FL 33414 , Aberdeen , Florida , United States
Cozy, Heartwarming, Yummy, Licensed, Well Run!!! Diverse Compelling Talent!!! – Super Cool Spot!!!
My children have been doing music lessons here and we absolutely love it! The owner is awesome! Always helps us when we need it and runs such a good operation. We have been seeing Nick for my 9 year old, Ryan for my 13 year old and Morgan for my 6 year old all fabulous teachers who really work with my kids and keep me up to date on what is going on. If you need a music instrument or piano lessons I highly recommend.
Great musical talent, great food, great intimate atmosphere!
Live music is usually very good, and food is tasty. My only complaints are that the music is always played too loud for such a small, intimate setting, and the food and wine prices are very high for what you get. However, we have gone 5 weeks in a row because we do have a really nice time there!
Me and my wife are living in Palm Beach county and we are travel lovers and we like to taste different food flavors, also we enjoy to know new places in our neighbor and far to, for that reason in that occasion we visited village music cafe where they have good prices, good branches and quality, the staff is very nice and helpfully, the place is clean and organized, and you can do everything by the website. If I help you please push .
Wasn’t keen about being asked by would I want to return an item if I purchased it. If I do not like it why would there be a problem. Take it home and seen if I bond with the guitar.
The owner would not stop bragging about encounters at nam. It got to the point where we stood for over an hour and did not once get to see an instrument although we were there to view acoustic guitars. And then after he was done “sharing” he stood up and said “I have to get ready for my gig”. We did not once ever get to see or play an instrument. Do not recommend.
As a parent who knows nothing about music the store owner took advantage of my lack of knowledge and I would have way overpaid for a drum stick bag. Price was more than double what a beginner bag would have been. Then he told me basically to leave because he was closing early.
He made mention multiple times about how he has to make some money on this stuff. Tried to upsell me used items with pieces missing.
I ended up going back to return the items the next day and he mentioned his rent for the store. And didnt refund me the whole amount. Also complained about his time being wasted.
Rude, and pricey. Maybe thats why he isnt selling his overpriced stuff.
Drove 20 minutes just for the business to be closed despite your store posting hours to say you would be open.
