Nice little place, lots of good options, good customer service
Had savery crep, a late and a chocolate twist. The taste was amazing!! The service was very good. Kedsha was Very polite and smiling all the time, a big part of make our experience so enjoyable!
this place is so good. do not get the quiche unless you like nutmeg and cinnamon.
Both waffle orders woefully undercooked.
Pastries tasted stale. Crème Brûlée was good
Was our favorite! Today they were busy. 45 minute wait for food. We were told up front and we were ok with this. Just asked that our tea and coffee be filled over that time. Waiter agreed. Then we were ghosted. When the food did arrive it was way way way over cooked and dried out. Two omelets. Simple omelets. Then we waited for our check …. And waited and waited… finally we got up and went to pay at the register. No “how was the service or food”. Just pay and go! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING. The owner/manager has lost direction and accepting poor customer service!!!
Giving poor reviews is always something I dread, but I strive to be honest and quality of service is something that is very important in an experience at any business. It’s especially disappointing to me the customer treatment I experienced here because I have been wanting to visit for so long. Anna Maria is one of my favorite spots and I’ve driven past My AMI countless times, having been unable to go because they are primarily a breakfast/ lunch place that is not open in the evening.
But finally, I had been early enough and hungry enough to go, hooray! So we walked in, and were not greeted for several minutes. And the first thing the woman says to us, is rudely asking if we have masks. Now, I understand we walked in not wearing any, and in this covid age things are weird. I’m fine with them asking us to put on a mask, but there is simply a kind way to ask, and she did not do that. So immediately we were off on the wrong foot.
So we ran to our car put on masks, respectfully. We come back inside and wait to be seated somewhere, only to not be acknowledged for another several minutes at least. Confused, we saw a sign for the back patio which is where we wanted to sit, so we started walking back there because we thought, maybe we are supposed to seat ourselves? Then finally, this caught the woman’s attention again and she starts basically yelling at us not to go back there. Again, it was just very unnecessary and she treated us like troublesome toddlers.
To be honest, after that I really just wanted to leave and not even give our business, but we were finally seated out front. The woman was slightly more friendly after that, but for me the damage had already been done. They were out of what I tried to order, and yet again they were most unapologetic about it and it was just off.
The food we got was very good. It was high quality and what I was hoping for in a French inspired island cafe. The eggs were fluffy and full of flavor.
Lastly, as we went to pay, apparently they were having an issue with the wifi, so we couldn’t even pay by card. Fortunately we had cash, but the woman again took over 10 minutes to come and take it back and give us change. She also did not apologize once for the inconvenience of not being able to use a card, and only complained about how bad their internet provider is. Nice. She took so long that we just decided to leave and not even get our change, and she ended up receiving a higher tip because of this- if we had paid with a card the tip would have reflected the service, subpar.
I completely understand that this is a small local business, and it was obvious the woman worked her butt off to keep it running. And I know that different cultures sometimes clash, but to me at least, this is still never, EVER an excuse to be rude and unpleasant with customers. Though the food was good, I am so disappointed by how I was treated that I doubt I’ll be back.
This is not french food at all. Overcooked eggs, the hollandaise was the worst Ive ever had and the staff was on their cell phones the entire time. No wonder the place was empty while every other restaurant is packed.
3. Cool Beans A.M.I.
Address: 101 S Bay Blvd Unit A4, Anna Maria, FL 34216 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
I was first drawn to this coffee shop based on the sign out front saying they had organic, locally roasted beans!! MacKenzie was so great to interact with and my latte was delicious! I loved that they had dairy free milk options~ coconut and almond! AND they open earlier than any coffee shop on Pine Ave! Great place to grab a great cup of coffee and watch the beautiful sunrise on the pier! Can’t wait to go back 🙂
Cool Beans has the best coffee on Anna Maria Island. Brett is the best. He is very knowledgeable about all coffees and goes way above in making sure you love your cup of coffee. I highly recommend Cool Beans on AMI.
Excellent coffee and very friendly staff!!
Great location right at the pier and waterfront. Very friendly owner, great service. Great organic micro-roasted beans. Fantastic equipment: La Marzocco brewer and Mazzer grinder, just like their web site promises. The only problem is, they have no idea how to use this equipment. Espresso (and consequentially all espresso-based drinks) are so under-extracted, that I could not taste any coffee in my latte. Drip coffee that my companion tried was very watery. Despite great potential of this place, AMI remains an espresso wasteland
I expected them to have WAY more merch. The only tshirt that said cool beans was a display and they didnt have any more. The only other things with thier logo were coffee mugs. Also, the cashier was more worried about talking to the police officer that was hanging out there, than helping customers.
Great they use organic, pesticide-free coffee beans. You pay for it, but it’s worth it (healthier planet and people). Staff vibe could’ve been more friendly, maybe next time?
Bad coffee from people that don’t know how to make lattes
No concept of the people waiting in line, worker and owner rambling aimlessly. I have no issue with people talking about how awesome their lives are living in AMI, but there’s a way to do it while serving customers at the same time! It’s morning, people just want their coffee please!
Expensive
4. Play It Again Jams
Address: 8208 Cortez Rd W Ste. 5, Bradenton, FL 34210 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
Take cash and plenty of it, because they have lovely designer clothes at great prices. The dedicated staff are friendly and helpful. It is like shopping at a boutique! Chris tested the blender to make sure it was in good working order. Service with a smile!!
The best part is the money you are spending goes to feed those in need! The Roser folks are generous and kind. We have been to their pancake breakfasts which is another dynamic fund raiser. Don’t miss this hidden gem!
A great place to browse for a bargain. My tip would be to get there early on a Tuesday as their will be new stock out. Opens 9:30
I love this little cute thrift shop so much and always find and buy things for our house when we are on Anna Maria Island. I’ve bought some linens and towels looking quite new for little money. Can’t wait to be back soon. This is a place where you are always welcome!
A fun little thrift store. Never know what you may find. Reasonable prices and friendly workers.
Reasonable prices cute shop!
This was always a must stop when we are on AMI. Today we arrived 5 minutes before opening. I was in desperate need of a restroom and was told to use the public restroom down the street. I did not feel that was very kind. This was the first time I had been treated any way but extremely welcome. We won’t be visiting AMI again until next year. I may give it another try then.
Drove out on a Friday during posted hours but they were closed
Communication was excellent and friendly, delivery was exactly as planned, and the golf cart worked perfectly!! Loved the speaker for music! Battery lasted for a long time, which was a relief. Would rent from this company 100%!
Great experience! Very friendly staff! Highly recommend!
Our blue golf cart was perfect and made a big splash in the 4th of July parade all decorated with red white and blue and excited kids and adults . Josh was helpful and the delivery/ pick up was seamless.
The 2 week rental was worth it.
7. Dips Ice Cream
Address: 503 Pine Ave, Anna Maria, FL 34216 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
Always great ice cream and friendly service . One of our favorite places to frequent when on the island
Dips is the best ice cream on the island hands downs. My family and I don’t go anywhere else. We get the same wonderful service and perfect ice cream every single time and we’ve been coming for the last 20 years. The best part is the owner if you get a chance to meet him! He is kind and hospitable and only hires respectful efficient workers. The island wouldn’t be the same without dips!
Very small, ice cream was great. Both traditional and unique flavors. Staff was pleasant and kept the line moving
Good ice cream with a fun general store attached.
It’s ice cream! Good selection and service, can’t go wrong here.
Good ice cream, but very expensive.
Great sweets just surprised to hear CASH ONLY after being served.
There’s no signage that reads cash only. No ATM onsite have to use one at a neighboring location.
No flavour signs on dipping cabinets. No small serving option.
The staff was very rude and did not want to be there. Really ruined my day. Ice cream is good but expensive. Not worth going!
8. City Pier Grill and Bait
Address: 100 N Bay Blvd, Anna Maria, FL 34216 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
It’s more like a fastfood but the view is great. Seen a lot of dolphins while we ate
Beautiful views on it. Benches along the way to sit and enjoy the peaceful beauty. They sell drinks and have bathrooms.
Wonderful Vintage Market Today…support local!!!
Busy but fun
Now this is a fun place but busy this time of year. Early April.
Beautiful location
I was visit twice for lunch. When I finish dining I just go fishing for couples minutes later, then I return to the restaurant ask for some ice into my own cup, they ask me to pay for it!This is what they treat for the former customers!!
Food was okay, views amazing! Service AWFUL, the girl at the food counter was EXTREMELY RUDE!!
25 yrs and counting coming here and still great
9. Music Go Round Bradenton
Address: 5108 15th St E Unit 204, Bradenton, FL 34203 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
Love this store, great selection of gear used in new. Awesome hidden spot in Bradenton!
Brought in a silver Clarinet from fathers estate and they gave a very reasonable price for it.
This store is a hidden gem in the area! The amount of gear in this place is awesome. Highly recommend visiting!
Cool place, wide variety of”stuff”. Decent prices, no haggeling. Staff wasn’t overly friendly and had to track down someone to test an amp.
I like the idea of new and used music gear chain store. They are able to access instruments and equipment from all over the country. The salesman could have been more knowledgeable but overall, it’s really good.
A little light on the trade in prices but other than that great selection and customer service
I bought a brand new student violin a few weeks ago. The store and staff seemed fine at the time of purchase. Preparing my daughter to start violin lessons today, I took the violin out of storage for the first time. I found that the handle was cracked (to the sellers credit, it is in a way that could have been missed by the seller). Also, the tuning pegs were very loose and don’t hold the strings taught for very long. I called the store this afternoon to discuss my options and immediately the woman (owner I believe) became defensive of her products and tried to give me many reasons of how this couldn’t be her fault. I just wanted to exchange it for another higher quality violin-I wasn’t upset at all. After she twice accused my daughter of dropping it and saying she “has no idea where its been”, rambling about their return policy being 7 days she said I had no options there because the damage that my daughter caused might make the item unsellable. What poor business etiquette. She chose to defend the sale of a $109 violin rather than her reputation and all future sales of a very musically inclined family with 4 kids. From the other comments I read it seems this store doesn’t have sales that can sustain it and they’re attitude is to get money right now, rather than create a lucrative business with a future.
The “owner” is not very kind and not really knowledgeable about music regarding stereo equipment. They can’t even test the speakers they sell properly to show you they work. Being a used equipment store this makes no sense. Especially after being told we are a big store and don’t need your business. Went to guitar center & got bigger speakers for a better deal anyway. Steer clear
Everything is overpriced, if you add $10 to the value u can get a new one. Guys at the front desk are really disrespectful. That is so many other stores around with better pice and great environment .
10. Anna Maria Island Coffee Shack
Address: 5500 Marina Dr, Holmes Beach, FL 34217 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
Great little coffee shop. We visit AMI several times a year and are glad to see this coffee shop open up. We stopped in several times during our most recent week stay and their iced lattes and macchiato is excellent. Drop in and support this local small business!
It was an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. We were immediately greeted by the owner who was lovely. I got the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a bagel (which the bagel was next level good) and it was fantastic all around. I also got a hazelnut iced coffee which was perfect. Definitely can’t wait to come back!!
Kid-friendliness: I don’t have kids of my own but I will say I admired the kids corner because it was actually designed and set up the way a kid would set it up if they were given free range which just shows how welcoming this place is for children!
Such a cute coffee shop on the island! I had the best Frappe I’ve ever had in my life and the breakfast sandwich was phenomenal. I would come here every day if I lived closer. Michelle and her family are wonderful owners. 5⭐
Kid-friendliness: They have a cute little kids corner with stickers and coloring books
Great atmosphere, kid friendly, amazing frappe, the iced latte was pretty bad though.
Cynthia is an excellent performer and vocalist. She entertained my Christmas Party and my guests had a blast listening to her sing as well as singing along! Id thoroughly recommend her.
Cynthia is simply amazing!! She is very personal, professional, energetic and truly loves playing the piano and singing. She is willing to play any song that you request. If she doesn’t already know the song, you can give her the music and she is able to play and sing it right away. Cynthia lights up the room and is a true gem!!
Cynthia has great piano playing and vocal skills. She can play just about any song requested.
12. Bertrand’s Music Keyboards & More
Address: 5905 53rd Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34203 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
Very delicious breakfast in a familiar atmosphere. All was cooked like my mom did at home. I’ll come back in my next holidays on this beautiful
island.
Good food, drinks, ice cream treats, beach/novelty shopping, swings & slides for the kids, volleyball courts, public restrooms, air pumps for bikes/inflatable toys, beach umbrella & chair rentals…..all the conveniences you need to enjoy this most BEAUTIFUL beach!
WOW! The fish was amazing, fries were hot and coleslaw perfect….and only $11.99 Will definitely be back!!
Great place for drinks amazing view but…. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp and for a place on the water you would think they were fresh. No they were mushy and flavorless and the bartenders acted annoyed when I told them. I would’ve given them 5 stars if only they would have not had an attitude when I sent the shrimp back. as far as a place to drink you cant beat it.
Food was nice and the location is excellent 🙂
Great variety, fun atmosphere. It is what it is.
Me and my cousin ate here for lunch today. To start off the workers were criticizing me and so rude when I said I was gluten free. The could of said they weren’t sure about the food, but instead we’re making rude comments. The person taking my order made me feel uncomfortable. The chicken was not promising, but we were so hungry today and gave it a shot. 30 minutes later we both felt terrible and are currently sick in Bed with upset stomachs. I wish it went better, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing.
Poor quality food. They cook it really well but they use cheap sausage patties.
Not a great place.
14. Back Alley Treasures
Address: 108 Historic, Bridge St, Bradenton Beach, FL 34217 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
Love this spot. The location is perfect and they have the best coffee all around bridge street! The staff was very friendly. Definitely on my list again next time!
Delicious latte, fair prices (not ridiculously expensive like some places on the beach), short wait time. Don’t forget to grab breakfast at the donut shop next door!
Great place for a coffee, wine and a beer in Anna Maria Island. I Highly recommend it. The owner is great.
Solid latte
Got coffee here it was good but a little weak they had heavy cream so that was a plus!
Great little coffee shop, fun gifts. Wait time was a little long. But very good coffee.
The two women were friendly when I came in. It’s a great little place. However I had asked for a strong Latte, saying how I love strong espresso. When I tried my Latte I said in a neutral tone, “This isn’t very strong.” The manager responded, “It is for normal people.”
Wow.
That seemed uncalled for and some unusual customer service.
Very nice store to shop in although jewelry pieces are over priced. Quality of coffee was not good. I would not recommend.
This store does not function like a business. Opening time for the shop is displayed as 8 AM. We were there at 8:05 am. and started ordering. Suddenly, the owner appeared and stated, “we are not open yet.” Really? Your start time is 8 & your doors are open, but you’re closed? Thanks, but no thanks. We are not going back. Plenty of other places you can buy coffee.
15. Blueberries Cafe & Wine
Address: 5337 Gulf Dr #300, Holmes Beach, FL 34217 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
I had such a great experience here. They were very welcoming! Best avocado toast ever. The coffee was very good and had lots of dairy free options! I definitely will be back!
We stopped by for breakfast and coffees. I had the acai bowl and cold brew, she had the sweet dragon bowl and iced caramel macchiato. The food was wonderful and the coffee good and strong. The staff were very polite and helpful, definitely coming back again!
This place is amazing if you’re visiting Anna Maria you should definitely try it.
A small but welcoming coffee shop with breakfast/brunch type menu. The menu is limited but again this reflects its size, albeit everything we tried over the course of a week was always good. Coffee, bagels etc. Priced on the high side hence 4 stars for me, although most stores on the island charge an obvious premium. I would recommend this place if you are an early bird as many places don’t open until 9am/10am.
I had the peanut butter bowl. It was a bit thin and runny. It was not thick like an açaí bowl. The fruit tasted fresh and the coffee had a nice fruity flavor. My aunt had the avocado toast. It was one slice of multigrain bread with mashed avocado and one egg. It also looked very fresh and she said she enjoyed it.
Employees were really, really nice but the açaí bowls were a bit disappointing especially for the price. The peanut butter and the açaí that we ordered ended up being very soupy and were close to room temp when we got them. We haven’t tried their other menu items but we wouldn’t go back for the açaí bowls.
We went to the restaurant because it said online that they were open, but when we arrived it was closed. Please update your times online.
Over priced for a rude business owner. Asked if she had iced coffee. Snippy & said yes, it’s on the back of the menu. The polite way to address a customer is to point it out. Oh, but someone she knew walked in & she was very sweet. So, I walked out. I will never come back!
My family and I just had the worst experience of our lives. Bad food and a horrible service I will ever come back to this place. I don’t even want to share details because it is disgusting
16. The Island Golf Carts – Rentals
Address: 122 Palm Dr, Holmes Beach, FL 34217 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
Great service, fair price, beautiful golf cart. Can’t ask for more! Will certainly avail ourselves of their services next time we are visiting AMI.
Amazing experience. 2022 golf cart with the lowest rate around. Hands down will be coming back!!!! Gotta Blast!
We had a great experience. Golf cart was all electric and had good range and speed. I think it was actually the fastest GC I’d ever driven. Seth was amazing and extremely helpful in ensuring we had a great experience. I highly recommend this company when renting a GC.
17. Drift-In AMI
Address: 120 Bridge St, Bradenton Beach, FL 34217 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
The Drift Inn, a short walk down Bridge Street from the main road. What a bar! Made us feel very welcome, great music, great bar staff and good prices. See you again soon.
Chase is awesome !
Cool bar, previous owner bt Mickey Mantel.
The service was great, the only thing that got to me was that they didn’t have a mask policy and it was packed. Other than that I’m sure it’s a 5-star place!
Pricey!!!
Yes this was the bar. $16.00 for two cocktails, we consider pricey..
Rum punch and Vodka club soda!
Smash
I visited this bar on my bachelorette trip and had the worst experience. To start, I was sitting at the bar to order a drink for 2 minutes and I was told by a “local” and the bartender that I needed to “get up that’s her seat.” I hadn’t paid yet, but was told to move and while trying to find a spot to get to the bar and pay, the bartender screamed that they were cash only, so I went to find the ATM. As I was walking to the ATM, the bartender chased me down accusing me of “she’s taking my drink, she’s taking my alcohol!” I gave her my $5 cash and couldn’t find the exit quick enough. Between the rude locals and bartenders, I had the worst time and quite frankly didn’t feel safe here. I was hoping for good local island vibes, and this place put a bad taste in my mouth.
Rudest drunken man there. He’s probably a local. I asked a simple question and out of no where he insulted my family. Tall skinny old man. Looks like he’s a regular.
Wouldn’t get a single star. Rudest bartender and most miserable person I’ve ever met. Blocked in against the fence, before I can ask for help and possibly get a drink, she is yelling at myself and my other two companions. Said we were liars and were driving either a bike or golf cart. Manager needs to keep a shorter leash
on this rude staff before more people decide that they obviously do not need the business.
18. Sam Ash
Address: 7606 N Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34243 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
My wife and I went to Sam Ash looking for help to fix one of the mics she uses during her live gigs. We were assisted by Noah at the audio department and I would say the experience was highly positive. Initially he was able to address us to the proper support channels, but he also wanted to check some additional details, and he was able to fix the issue (a wrong setting with the receiver. We took also the chance to ask for some loudspeakers suggestion to be used live, and he guided us in a very professional manner through several choices. We went back the day after to buy what he considered the best option. I really appreciated working with their team, and I strongly recommend them in case you need any recommendation in terms of musical instruments, DJ gears, and such.
Upon walking in the brightly lit well stocked store I was greeted by a charming young woman named Emily. I had Asked for Bryan Christie in guitars she said he is helpig another customer but please go over and look around whle your waiting. I didnt have to wait long Bryan was ready to assist me with my instument problem. I had Described the problem to him and he had suggested a minor neck adjustment. He said I can show you how to do it so if in the future you can adjust it yourself. He really helped me out. You’ll find that at Sam Ash Employees who are very knowledgeable and eager to help. Everybody is very helpful once when I was building a guitar project the manager Scott Salyer took the time to look up al the parts I would need to complete the project. He even suggested where to find the parts he was unableto locate for me at a discount too. When i got the project finished It was suggested I turn it over to thier instore guitar tech “Borgie”. Hey listen up guitar guys I gave been playing for over 25 years and a professional Rodie for 5 years I’ve seen some great techs. Borgie took that raw homebuilt guitar and made it play like Clapton himself would be proud to call it his own. This guy is a serious master at his art. He is the best.
You will get it all here at Sam Ash in Sarasota , Great Inventory,People and amtosphere. It’s like walking into your favorite friends home because they treat you like family!!!!!
Excellent customer service staff very knowledgeable
Helpful, even if you don’t play drums or guitar.
Difficult to locate a staff guitar person to have demonstrate guitars but after I spent 15 waiting I spoke with a very friendly, knowledgeable man named Grant. He answered all my questions and helped me with accessories and sale of guitar.
Poor inventory. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable – at least the one individual I spoke with was. He was setting up a guitar when I asked him for assistance. Very nice. Compared to other Sam Ash stores – this one is just ok. I wish they had higher end merchandise. I’ve recently opted to order online then store purchases these days simply for this same reason.
I purchased a KORG G1 Air from Sam Ash Music about 18 months ago. It comes with a 5 year warranty. I recently had a problem, the power key broke. I called Sam Ash and was told that they do not help after purchase except if you purchase an extended warranty from them, which makes little sense when you have a KORG 5 year warranty. Do not purchase from them and expect any after sale support as you would get from other retailers like Costco.
On floor manager was rude, not cool!
Who is giving this place 5 stars? Such rude employees. Answering the phone when I’m asking a question, clearly not listening to my questions or the topic because the sales associate would have known he was selling me the wrong thing. I was trying to figure out what I needed and not only will I have to fork over a 15% restocking fee if I try to return it but that would mean dealing with the “greeter” and staff again. Also while I was paying I was offered a 2 year warranty on an $80 item that was almost 20 bucks. I said I might do 1 year and he said they don’t do 1 year. Complete with attitude. I get the product home and lo and behold! I register it online and there is a free 1 year warranty. Glad I avoided that ripoff. But the thing that really got me? Upon paying I was asked not just for my name, but pretty much everything except my ss#. I said that I didn’t want to give him my cell number and address and he mumbled something about corporate and that they make him ask. That does not make me feel any better! I refused and the attitude reached a level that I didn’t know was available. I wanted out of there. I tried to show my receipt at the door and was ignored until I finally spoke up about wanting to leave. No, I do not think I will be returning there. It’s too bad because the reason I gave it 2 stars and not 1? If you know what you want and you don’t deal with staff, their prices are actually not bad.
19. Slim’s Place
Address: 9701 Gulf Dr, Anna Maria, FL 34216 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
Authentic Philly bar with great cheesesteaks right near the beaches of Anna Marie Island. Can’t ask for much better!
Super fun place. The staff was so much fun
Very good food. Jessica was wonderful. No alcohol, just wine and beer..bummer.
NFL ticket. Beer/wine license (no booze). Old Bay-seasoned tots were a good appetizer
Really cool atmosphere, music and great food. No liquor, beer and wine only!
A few months back we visited this place several times while on vacation. The food was great but it did take a while to get it. On a recent trip we decided to return for lunch. In addition to other food, we ordered the tots but added cheese and bacon. When we were served the food, we were told that the cook, who is also the owner, ‘let’ us order it this time, but had they been busy, the ‘custom’ order (of adding some cheese and bacon) would have been refused. I’m not really sure what was so difficult about sprinkling some cheese and bacon on tater tots is, but there was hardly any on them, and it certainly did not justify the $5 up charge we saw when we got the bill. Of note, when we visited this establishment the first time, we made the same request and there was no mention of this. We also did not see anywhere on the menu that said custom orders would not be allowed. It’s a shame that this visit left such a bad taste in our mouths as we certainly would’ve been back in the future.
Pizza was great, but the service was terrible. Unless you’re planning on drinking at the bar don’t plan to go here. We waited at least 30 min for our check and when we went to the back to find our waitress she was clearly too busy attending to the guests at the bar. I understand they are busy, but at least pay attention to your guests in other parts of the restaurant. We felt extremely disrespected and will not be back.
No liquor sales….pretty important detail not mentioned in prior reviews. Service is slow and food is ok. We came for the “great wings” and were less than impressed. The Mac and cheese tasted like cardboard with alfredo sauce. The tuna app is seasoned with everything bagel and is drowned in a sauce. We were really disappointed overall.
20. Harry’s Grill
Address: 9903 Gulf Dr, Anna Maria, FL 34216 , Anna Maria , Florida , United States
My family and I had supper there tonight (Jun 2, 2022). My wife said that it was the first (and likely only) restaurant that was “perfect” from the drinks, appetizer, meal, and dessert. Everything was splendid. The back patio was perfectly shaded. The ocean breeze was cool and light. It was the perfect night. We laughed and cut up with our server (Kelly H, we HIGHLY recommend her). She suggested our 4 meals and she nailed each one. Too bad we are leaving the island but we plan on returning next summer.
Stopped in for a meal based on some reviews and we were not disappointed…We had the bacon wrapped shrimp app and the Mississippi fried fish platter… They were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone seeking seafood. They had at least 10 beers on tap which is great as well as bottles beer. If I had one gripe it would be that they only have beer or wine so no mixed drinks…Maybe for the better… They also had live music which surprised me as this place is sooo small but they made it work…and the music was good… I’ll be sure to stop in again when I get down to the island….You should too!
Delicious mushrooms Swiss burger
No hostess, front doors locked, food was great fast service we were served politely nice people interesting decor inside and out try the 1/2 lb. Burger meal
Good outside seating. Food is OK Slow service
Food was very good & the have (not just claim to have) the best Key Lime pie on the island. The down side was speed. Food didn’t come out in a reasonable time at all. Fortunately, there was excellent live music to fill the void. Definitely a do-over
Stopped here for beer and snacks mid afternoon. Received a sour reception at the door. & Average service. A downer on a nice beach day.
The food is way overpriced for generic food with not many options and little options to choose from outside of beer and wine. Save your money eat somewhere else
We had a nice takeout experience so we decided to book a dinner for Valentine’s Day. We were seated in a cute outdoor courtyard area. No less than 6-8 RATS ran across the lighted wires above our heads. We opted to move inside but it was very non-covid friendly-tables were very close together. My husband tried to speak to the manager about the rats but at first he acted surprised. Then he said they were doing everything they could about it and then proceeded to ask what would we like him to do about it. We would like you not to serve food in a rat infested area!!
