We were stuck… a rental car with a blow rear tire 10 miles out of Arco and no spare wheel or tire… Nathan and his team sorted a second hand tire and saved our bacon. We were able to get to our destination in Idaho Falls and finish our trip. Thanks for your exceptional service and help in this situation. Steve from Australia
We couldn’t get our tire fixed at other larger chain stores so when our tire blew on the highway outside of Arco we pulled up to Nathan’s and they had us fixed in less than 30 minutes at a more than reasonable price. Awesome customer service!
They’ll take good care of you! Shop for motorcycles there before you go anywhere else.
They service semi truck tires.
Terrible, Terrible place to go!! Nathan does not care about you or if you’re taken care of properly, as long as he gets a good profit. He is very rude and inconsiderate when he doesn’t get his way. If your tires go flat after leaving his shop–which happened to many previous customers–Nathan doesn’t care! If you come back with a complaint–he’ll tell you to leave his property. And when you buy parts from Nathan, Nathan doesn’t warn you about his 50% RETURN FEE!!! Nathan would only give me 50% of buying cost for a starter I never even took out of the package. Besides, Nathan charged $100 more than what I could have bought it for online! Nathan could have returned the starter for 100% full recovery, instead, by demanding 50% Return Fee, it’s one of the many dishonest ways Nathan makes money on his customers. Nathan sold me a tire 3 years ago that was apparently a brand name, but it was a knock-off tire with that quality name; the tire didn’t have anywhere near the quality of nor the proper tread-design of the regular name-brand tire. I was clearly ripped off and I went back and Nathan didn’t care. I never should have gone back!! I don’t believe that anyone gets a good deal at Nathan’s. You are ALWAYS over-paying and receiving poor quality workmanship. Nathan has a snively, rude, inconsiderate attitude if you have a problem. He’ll even lie and say I never saw you here. Nathan could care less about you once you’ve paid. I’ve heard so many high-priced, poor service stories about Nathan’s. I’m upset with myself that I went back there to buy a starter. The stories about Nathan’s Service just sounded too terrible to believe; but no, Nathan’s Service is a poor choice whenever you need anything for your car. Ask him about his 50% Return Fee when buying his bad parts or bad tires. Nathan doesn’t know good parts from bad parts, or he’s conscious of it but doesn’t care about ripping you off. And it’s not just about his ripping you off that’s the worst part of it, it’s Nathan’s snively, rude, uncaring attitude about it. However, Dalton, one of his workers there is a honest and good person–if he’s still there. And Nathan does sell good gas, I’ve never had a problem with his gas there. But go in there and ask him about his 50% Return Fee and you’ll see that rude look on his face. It’s much better to try and make it to Fred & Wayne’s Tires in Idaho Falls on Yellowstone Hwy. They are honest.
CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!!!!!
I have been to Nathan’s twice now. Each time I was quoted one price but when it was time to pay it was a couple hundred more. I didn’t add or change anything to the service he was supposed to be doing. When I questioned it I was told that’s just how it is and if I wanted to take my quad or My vehicle home I was going to pay that price. I was completely confused and caught off guard by not only the price but the terrible customer service I received. I own a business and I have managed a few as well, the treatment that I got there was completely unacceptable. I don’t agree with “the customer is always right” thing but when you tell me a price I expect it to be that price. I would also expect to be treated with mutual respect, which I did not. I try and do most of my business in town or close to town to keep the money in our towns. Unfortunately, Nathan’s will not be a place I will be returning to. The belittling and rude attitudes were a complete disgust. Customers keep your doors open, you should respect them.
3. Sawtooth Club
Address: 156 W Grand Ave, Arco, ID 83213 , Arco , Idaho , United States
This is the best bar in town! The owners are so down to earth and take good care of their customers. They fed us crackers and cheese at no additional charge.
I’m going to make this a priority stop every time I make the trip back home
Went in for a beer.
Found a bug in my food.
4. Mello-Dee Club & Steak House
Address: 175 Sunset Dr, Arco, ID 83213 , Arco , Idaho , United States
Cool laid back bar to drink. Bartenders are Super cool.
No longer serving food in this business but the service for drinks were great!!
Best place in town! They fresh grind their beef daily, use fresh ingredients would reccomend over and over again!
Cold beer, but smokey.
It was a place to have a calm drine but it is the only place openhere now. So now realy yung ppl go there now but the servic is still grate
Casual home town bar with lots of regulars. Has delicious restaurant attached to it so you can have a nice meal with your drink.
Bartender might be schizophrenic and kicked us out because my girl has a Wisconsin ID
Smokey, bartender was not very nice.
This is not a steak house. It’s a dive bar. Upon opening the door, one is greeted with decades of built-up cigarette smoke (maybe recent smoke–I wouldn’t be surprised). Yuck. No way would I eat here.
5. Acadia Music
Address: 707 F St, Rupert, ID 83350 , Arco , Idaho , United States
This is a great local music shop. They do repairs, instrument set up, and lessons, and they sell on consignment. I sold a guitar on consignment here, got exactly what I was asking, and it sold quickly! They have everything you need, equipment, accessories, instruments, and sheet music. The staff is knowledgeable, and friendly. The store is roomy, and well organized.
This is a fun place to visit!
Very professional and helpful.
Best music shop ever got my first electric guitar
6. Arco
Address: Idaho 83213 , Arco , Idaho , United States
7. Blue Rider Music & Instrument Repair
Address: 595 W Ustick Rd, Meridian, ID 83646 , Arco , Idaho , United States
I highly recommend this place for professional instrument repair and technical assistance and advice
The only issue I had was their sign was not easy to find. The business should have an extra sign right before you turn into their driveway to give ample time to prepare to turn in.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. They’re incredibly kind, knowledgeable and helpful; and you can tell that they genuinely care about helping you find what you need instead of just selling you something. I look forward to giving them more business in the future.
They are very friendly and helpful. Have been renting my middle schooler’s instrument from there for 2 years with no complaints!
I need a trumpet mute and I don’t know if Blue Rider has one! Can someone help?
Helpful staff! They got my son’s trumpet soldered and shined!
8. Burt’s Music & Sound
Address: 1123 Sherman Ave, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814 , Arco , Idaho , United States
Always a pleasure shopping here. People are helpful and knowledgeable. Burt is a true master at his craft of instrument repair and restore…
Great store! Repaired my daughter’s violin on the spot for a more than fair price.
I will also point out that the negative review from Greg Lapin is the exact same review he has cut and pasted on about 70 other local businesses. Apparently Mr. Lapin is your typical loser SJW liberal type that’s offended if he doesn’t see a minority employed at an establishment.
Small, privately owned type stores like this are the REAL minority nowadays.
Pretty nice people
Good people
Nice folks. Small selection.
bought nice drum for great price. thanks 🙂
Two people there. One was great and full of advice the other made us feel like we had no business being there because we weren’t master musicians. I will take my business and money elsewhere.
Bad experience
The person working there that day didn’t really seem to want to make a sale…. The sign saying not to touch the instruments without permission was a bit off-putting.
Then, after inquiring about trying one, he selected an instrument, took it down, re-tuned it, and hung it back up. There was no sense of being encouraged to actually try it out or anything.
It was very uncomfortable and we felt quite unwelcome.
9. Tailgaters Sports Bar
Address: 659 W Grand Ave, Arco, ID 83213 , Arco , Idaho , United States
Super friendly staff & owner. Wings are amazing & gigantic!
Very nice people
Try the Philly! YUM!
We tried this place for a late lunch while passing through. This place is a dive. Great food though. We tried the wings which tasted delicious and were cooked to perfection. The restaurant was clean but the restrooms could be cleaner. Great place to stop when in town. Great food and sports on television. Will return next time we are in the area.
3 tacos in a Pepsi 11 bucks 3 street tacos so they are small
This was the best place we dined in this town. The had a super friendly staff
Don’t bother, because once we walked in the door it seemed as if we were the bother.
The server could not keep up with 3 at the bar (one I am pretty sure was one of the owners) and 2 at a table. Once we sat down it took some time to even be acknowledged. We ordered 2 beers and looked over the menu. This should have been our tip off…the waiter finally came back to take our order about 15 min later. We waited a good while and asked if our order had been started as we were going to cancel and go elsewhere. Orders seemed to coming out of the kitchen one at a time (keep in mind 2 at a table had ordered food). Once my husband’s chicken wings were dropped off we waited for my sandwich. While waiting he had to flag down the waiter to get a fork. The fork finally came when my sandwich was dropped off. When I asked for a knife, salt, pepper and the fry sauce I ordered with the sandwich. The waiter pointed to the pepper 2 seats down on the bar and said “there’s the pepper” and went to retrieve the other items from my request. The waiter never came back to see if we needed anything else. My beer was dry about half way through my sandwich and my husband had to offer me some if his to wash down my sandwich. If you are not a local as you can see by the reviews don’t waste your time and money. I know COVID did a number on customer service but this place takes the cake!
Uh there ok but the food isnt really worth the aftermath. I’ve never gone there and not thrown up afterwards. It’s a nice place to take the family as long as your ok with throwing it all up afterwards
Worst pizza I’ve ever had. And no beer! Issue with their license.
