I cannot say enough about this place!
If you want customer service and personal attention, there is nothing else like it.
Big chain pricing with the attention you can only get from a smaller store.
The size should not fool you as they seem to have plenty of inventory for anything musical and certainly can get it if not.
I and my children are beginners, so have a ton of questions that would have most sales representatives rolling their eyes and counting the time but not a single one of my weekly trips has been that way here.
Very personable and helpful staff with extended personal teachers in a variety of categories.
I would not go anywhere else for my musical needs and I do a ton of research before I buy! So, trusting them to get what I will be happy with, is pretty defining.
Keep up the great work and we will be life long customers! Thank, Kurt
honestly, i like this place more than guitar center. they have literally everything i need and saying that the employees are very helpful is an understatement. every time i come to the store, the employees are always kind and available to help me out, or tell me about instruments. these people really know their stuff. they’re also cool people to just chat with in general. they are very patient, too. in addition, the atmosphere is overall quiet, and it’s clean. all the instruments are basically spotless and they function perfectly, amps and everything. ian and katie are the best. this is truly my favorite store! 😀

Great Store
Maestros profesionales
Great music store! The prices are pretty high, but they are very helpful.
The customer service is awful I definitely won’t be back there every again
Had to make a quick stop to grab a few things. I know it was closing time. I was trying to make it quick. When they started harassing my husband reminding him when they close he left and we took our business somewhere else. Customers want to feel welcomed, not reminded how unfortunate you are to have to lock the door right at 5:00.
3. Vintage Musical Instruments
Address: 42 Public Square S, Dahlonega, GA 30533 , Bande , Georgia , United States
A little store with a lot of great instruments! John, the proprietor, is a musician in his own right, is very helpful with advice on all instruments for all styles.
Excellent shop, a lot of soul and rare items! Hope to return soon!
It’s the coolest shop on the square in Dahlonega GA.
I was disappointed with the repair work done on my guitar. It wasn’t a horrible job but it wasn’t a good job either.
The luthier wasn’t able to polish the frets because they didn’t have any high grit sandpaper so, I had to “polish” the frets with my strings from play wear and now my frets are “polished” very unevenly.
He seemed to do an okay job with the fret leveling and crowning but there are still some noticeable corners on about half of the fret edges and especially on the higher frets where people usually don’t play. (You can tell how he had it laid on the table because one side is relatively smooth and the other looks like it barely got any attention along with the nut which is just as sharp as before)
He also got multiple dings and scratches on my guitar neck. Which I personally don’t mind on the specific guitar I sent in, but I would be quite irritated if it happened to a higher end guitar. (It’s named ‘Rawhide’ which explains the guitar well)
So, pretty much I paid for an incomplete job where if I had the proper tools I could have done it myself and probably much better.
I’m not trying to start anything and I don’t want to get the Luthier in trouble, I just want to see quality work from the Luthier so *if* I ever bring in a higher end guitar I won’t have to sleep in fear worrying about possible damage.
My recommendation for the Luthier is if someone pays you to level, crown and polish frets, make sure you have ALL of the necessary tools and really take the time to do a good job on ALL of the frets. Also make sure to keep the guitar safe in the process.
If I had known what to expect for what I paid for, I would have pressed the Luthier to finish the job, but at the time I didn’t know what high quality frets were like.
Lastly, on an unrelated topic that really goes to personal preference, they require masks to enter the store, no exceptions. I don’t support being muzzled for a virus with a 99%+ survival rate and even 95%+ if you’re over the age of 70, where it’s so “deadly” you require a medical test just to see if you have it, and asymptomatic spread has been proven to be extremely rare, if not just another myth to keep us living in fear.
But to each their own.
I’m very disappointed in this “business” we had taken a family heirloom to him to be repaired, he said it would take two weeks. Hey, great you got a deal. Let’s go ahead and pay for it so you will have the money on hand to pay for the parts and your time. Three weeks later we have to call and the guitar still isn’t finished. Four weeks later we call once again it’s still not done. I go to the “business” to see if it’s even been touched, and low and behold it had not. He had already told us that sales from other people come first with it being around the holidays. Wait wait so a sale that was already made gets placed last?! That was my daughter’s Christmas present as well to hear the guitar play once again that her papa had gave to her 10 years ago, then he pasted away. I will never trust this place again repairs or to buy from!
Went to store this morning at ten after 11 and no one was there.
4. Musician’s Warehouse
Address: 245 N Lumpkin St, Athens, GA 30601 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Great selection of instruments and supplies with knowledgeable, pleasant staff who are NOT afraid to wear masks during a pandemic!
Amazing inventory!
Exceptional service, great vibe! Extremely personable experience and supporters of local music. Thanks for saving me while I was on the road in Athens!
Pretty good shop if you are in Athens. Much better selection of gear than their competitors in the area.
Very nice store but not a great variety of guitars
Nice selection of stringed and percussion instruments. Pretty decent prices, too.
Dude I’m not sure what happened. The first floor is desolate (empty for everybody that’s currently reading this while dunk). I understand social distancing, but I’m I am attending Warehouse, I do not care about the current situation, I’m here to rave. Open the first floor for a mosh pit.
Poor selection. If you like grandpa guitars this is the place. Wouldnt recomend to any modern guitar players.
Really wanted to like this company. I was cheated and conned, and after a week with zero communication I contacted them. They fumbled around for another day or two then stated they couldn’t find the item. I was left empty handed and confused. No attempt at finding the item or ordering another. Nothing. Zip. C’mon guys!
5. Atlanta Discount Music
Address: 3514 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Chamblee, GA 30341 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Good selection of new and used gear. Friendly and knowledgeable.
Great selection and prices
FAN TAS TIC music shop! Exactly how a music shop should be , walls lined with instruments and friendly knowledgeable staff that Insist you play the instruments. Talked with several of the staff about different effects pedals and accessories for them I was looking for. Went in for a effect pedal and ended up Putting money down on a guitar… These guys literally have guitars I’ve never seen in my hometown in 30 years ! They’ve got no problem with letting you try instruments with different amp and pedal combinations and are extremely happy to accommodate you to do so. Wide variety of instruments from Gretcsch , Fender , Ibanez , vintage Tiescos from Japan , Schecter you name it! This place was a pleasure and I look forward to visiting it when I’m in town!
Nice family owned business in chamblee. Came here to have my guitar strung and purchase a tuner. All together everything was about $38. They have a family dog that greets you at the door (which made my day because I love animals). Everyone there was very friendly and they even offer guitar lessons.
They have their own parking lot which doesn’t seem to ever be full. Its very easy to get in and out of.
Ok people
Always has good stuff.
Bought a mic cord there a few months back , tried to return it but they said it wasn’t theirs, no receipt,
I know it came from Atlanta Discount, the guy acted like I was some kind of criminal,
I’m 59 years old, been playing for 50 years, don’t need the disrespect man, no wonder Guitar Center is kicking their ass
It’s a neat store. It’s a small local place with a somewhat limited selection. I didn’t think the prices were all that great based on their new guitars and the staff didn’t find me interesting enough to ask me if I needed anything even though this one guy saw me coming in. Oh, well.
Don’t drop your amp here for repair. Paid close to $200 and when I got home, the amp still didn’t work. Total rip-off
6. Sam Ash Music Stores
Address: 2999 Cobb Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30339 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Always willing to help and order what they don’t have, but they usually have what I need!
Damon is very knowledgeable and always very helpful.
Nice store, good selection of guitars and amps.
Drum dude took care of me.
Nice place. Just bit higher in price
Walked in today 08/22/2016 with $1000 ready to buy a drum kit and some cymbals and maybe find some of those L80 cymbals for practicing in the house. Told the guy Im here to buy a kit and he says great. Go back to the drums and nobody comes near me, everybody hides or walks away. Lesson learned Sam Ash. I wont be coming near there again unless to go the pet store down the street. Thanks for the help…Not.
Pretty barren, looks like it’s going out of business with how little inventory there is. This place used to have a lot of high end stuff, but now it’s basically all beginner gear.
Edit: A month later, even less inventory. It would not surprise me if this location closed.
Samash has fallen off. Service suck. Couldn’t hook anything up to test used speaker. They didn’t know the price of anything. I’ve spent so much money in that place over 25 years. Unfortunately it will end today. I went right down to guitar center and got what I wanted with good service.
7. Guitar Center
Address: 2480 Briarcliff Rd NE Suite 13, Atlanta, GA 30329 , Bande , Georgia , United States
I had such a great experience with the gentleman who’s card I have, Jeremy the red light and will edit this when I get home. He did everything professionally and exactly how it was needed to be done. I’m a regular customer at Gwinnett store I’ll come to this one more often now.
Even though this is a chain, this location is spot-on. The staff is very knowledgeable and patient, as well as laid-back but professional. The prices may be a little high for some items, but the staff’s knowledge is well worth the visit.
This is one of the best places to go in ATL for all of your music needs.
This is the one to go to, had exactly what I needed and have for year’s.
Everyone seems to be too busy to help you when you get there…
Always a nightmare. Kids selling kids gear.
I waited like 45 minutes to pick up an online order that was paid for because a bald old white dude decided to skip me like 5 times. He simply decided to ignored me most of the time. Never buying at guitar center again.
I am a musician by trade and spent almost 45mins in drum section by myself without being helped by a single sales person then went to guitar center on 85north to get a DW snare even that location has turned into a pothole guys so Marietta is the only current location severing pro grears so please .
8. Atlanta Musicians Exchange
Address: 2619 Lawrenceville Hwy, Decatur, GA 30033 , Bande , Georgia , United States
I stopped in because I had 2 issues with a trumpet. Because of a tight timeline they could only fix one issue. I was still happy they were able to fix one issue, but they refused to take any payment because they didnt get it perfect. These are some honest guys and I am truly thankful for the work they do. You can’t go wrong with AME.
My Son takes Drum lessons with Bill Shirk and loves it. Friends and neighbors notices the improvement. We also purchases a nice set from Mike. Great price and service.
Dropped my guitar by for a little work and it sounds and looks dramatically better. Thank you!
I spoke with the most racist person that I’ve come across in a long time, I think it was the owner. My child called the store on the 4th of July (several times because he is a child and did not realize that businesses are actually closed on the 4th of July). I was unaware that he called so many times. The following day I received a VERY nasty and distasteful message on my voicemail. When I returned the call, I wasn’t even given a chance to speak. He was yelling, using profanity and hung up on me. I will definitely tell everyone I know not do business here and I do not recommend doing business here (especially people of color). I will also post it on my social media pages. There are far too many Music stores that actually respect their customers.
After looking at other reviews, it seems that the owner is just a jerk by nature. I didn’t even see any responses to good reviews, only negative ones. So apparently you enjoy tounge wrestling. I feel sorry for the people that have to deal with you daily. Bless you anyway sir.
Update: Every business was NOT closed. I didn’t call my son did several times. You left a nasty vm on MY phone. And who has no class?? It’s definitely you…
The photo of the wall of guitars is pretty much their entire stock. I’ve seen low-end pawn shops that are less cluttered.
The repair shop sucks
9. Megatone Music
Address: 44b Town Sq, Blairsville, GA 30512 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Very nice shop. Very helpful. Appeared to have a nice selection of instruments and accessories
I’ll mention off the top that Google maps parked me in front of a coffee shop that shares brick with Megatone. It’s there, just around the corner, facing the square.
Popped in at 18 til close on a Monday, stated I was there for a guitar tuner.. Found myself met with equal parts friendly and informative. Received full descriptions and pricing on at least four products before I interjected and said I’ll take the blue one.
I’m no officionado, but I did see some sort of interesting carbon fiberish guitar parked next to one with real funky hot rod flames on my way out. Pretty neat. Nice guy.
It’s a great music store with friendly people. They know what they’re doing. You can take music lessons, buy instruments and get them repaired there also.
Ordered a brand new guitar for a present and it arrived with a scuff. Not sure if it was packed like this or it happened during transit. I sent a freindly message to Megatone Music about it and the initial response I got was that it was a mislabled used guitar, not a brand new one as advertized. Then he said that i scratched it and its not a big deal, my friend will be happy with a present. Not a pleasant expereince. Seller’s responses seem manipulative.
Staff isn’t honest
I think this business is struggling and so they will be deceitful in any way to get a few extra dollars. Beware of this business, you will not receive friendly support if they make a mistake.
I highly recommend staying away from this place.
10. Portman’s Music Superstore
Address: 7650 Abercorn St, Savannah, GA 31406 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Wife and I enjoyed our experience there! We got to meet all the Jeff’s lol!! Special shout-out to Jeff in Guitars his knowledge and expertise was hands down an enjoyable experience! Love our Yamaha Stagepass and Taylor Guitar!
Customer service is always great
I’m a drummer and they let me play the electric drum sets
It’s the vibe of any typical music store, however they were very well-stocked very helpful to my needs – if not overbearing at some times. They had a wide range of products (but not really). If you like music, this is a store.
great place for whatever musical things you may need, i’ve had mutiple instruments from portmans but lessons from here aren’t the best. super tiny rooms to practice in and having my instructor not show up mutiple times was enough that i quit getting lessons. but other than that it’s a good shop
This was my first Piano Lesson since March 2020. It was very good.
I stopped in back in December, 2017.
Not the friendliest staff at the Savannah location. Had to get guitar and eukele strings for my daughter. Not ONE salesman or staff member asked if I needed help. They stood around doing nothing. Wouldn’t even make eye contact with me. I stood there studying th strings for 10minutes. Finally, I called my daughter to help me get what she needed. Cashier was nice bt his nervous laugh & smile, made ME very uncomfortable. He never asked if I was military, i only got th military discount BECAUSE I showed him my ID with my credit card; MY usual SOP whilst shopping.
My daughter wanted to visit th store, she looking to buy a third guitar, bt when we talked about my experience, she changed her mind bt I could tell she was dissapointed. I won’t be coming back.
FYI to th staff; Not all of us are criminals. We feel just as nervous as you do when we shop certain places. Our money spends like everyone else’s.
As a former violinist, oboe and piano player, I know music is universal and not selective. Disgusted yes and saddend as well by th customer service.
Have a good day bt never again.
I took my acoustic here to have new strings put on and action lowered. Worst strings I’ve ever had on a guitar. Action wasn’t lowered one bit and got worse and worse. They charged me 75 bucks so I figured I’d get some decent strings atleast. But they obviously put the crappiest ones they could find on it. My solid top Yamaha sounded like a 50 dollar first act guitar when I got it back. Nothing against Portmans music…but whoever the “technician” was for this guitar either didn’t give a f*** or just sucked.
I’ve played guitar for close to 50 years. Greeted by a rude salesman who talked to me like I was 12 years old. Warned me that if I touched it I buy it, and then told me a story about baby birds to make his point.. Come back? ahhhh, NO.
11. Firehouse Guitars & Music
Address: 612 Medlock Rd, Decatur, GA 30033 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Super helpful folks! I got help restringing my guitar and they made it look brand new in the process. They answered my every question and made me (and my many questions) feel welcome. I’ll be back!
Nice place decent prices knowledgeable and friendly staff
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great music teachers.
This is a pretty good little store. I bought my guitar and amp here
Rip off.go elsewhere. I use to really like bringing my daughter here but they must be under new management. Prices have gotten ridiculous!!!
12. Guitar Center
Address: 1455 Pleasant Hill Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30044 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Staff is nice and great selection of new and used equipment. Staff will come up and ask if you need anything. I got some GREAT advice from Matt in the Bass department and ended up getting an excellent bass as a result.
Amazing customer service! I came in thinking it would take hours to figure out what cords and speakers I would need and was in and out in about 10 minutes. They were incredibly helpful. 10/10! I will be back!
This is still the place to come. Hasn’t changed in 20 years. Good stuff. Brian was super helpful 🙂
I’m building a studio and this place has everything I need. Sweetwater has a better online selection in my opinion, but you can’t go wrong with the physical atmosphere GC provides. Personal help is nice and most employees love what they do. I’ll take pics next time I go
great variety of musical equipment. very relaxed atmosphere you can test play almost evrything.
Got a good price on a guitar I was selling.
At first I had a good experience with this store when I visited on Sunday. I do not remember any names but one guy (skinny, white guy with small beard) helped me with my first purchase with a guitar. We were very happy with that experience and spent a good amount of time there making sure I bought the right guitar. Then we returned to this store today and it was a completely different staff and attitude. I was 1 of a 3 person party in which 2 of the 3 were looking to buy a guitar tonight since I had already bought one two nights ago. We looked online at the guitars we wanted and immediately went to the Acoustic Corral to find them but could not find either. One guy helped find one guitar and went to the back to find it carrying back the box with it (I suppose this was Dwayne because that’s what the receipt said – tall, white guy with glasses). He then passed it to David (which I assume in which is what his name tag said – hefty, bald black guy) which was a little short with us but it could be his personality. He let us open the box and go to the Corral to play it before buying. Upon inspection, we noticed a dent and went to bring it up to him. He brushes it off and says “yeah, I noticed that when I opened the box.” I could only assume he hoped we bought it without noticing it and never offered to get a new one until we brought up we would not accept only a 5% discount for this new out-of-box dent and wanted a new one. He sent Dwayne to get it and Dwayne proceeded with the purchase and helped us with a trade-in. While waiting for the other person in my party to receive the guitar from the back, he looks around near the Vault to which one employee states “Apparently people can’t read” to which he said he was not going to open the door as he read it was for Employees Only, but the guy said “yeah, we’re just trying to keep ‘normal people’ out.” If normal people mean “non-guitar players” or “new guitar players”, there goes 2/3 of the people in my party. My friend then decided he would buy the guitar he wanted at a different store. The only reason we bought the one guitar was because we came specifically to that store to get that specific guitar that was in stock. The staff made us feel like it was criminal to ask a question and I felt like I didn’t need to bother them for much even though we had some problems with finding merchandise and the dent with one.
I bought a microphone and asked for any recommended accessories. They gave me something totally not compatible. When I went back they didn’t take it back because I didn’t pay for the insurance. It was the same day and they were in the wrong. So I didn’t like my experience.
I’ve never been to a retail store that didn’t care about making money as much as this location of guitar center. I’ve spent a lot of money here in the past and I will no longer ever spend another Penny here lack of customer service and straight rude employees. what’s the point of having all the stuff on the shelf if you got nobody there to sell it?
13. Big House Guitars
Address: 2323 Cheshire Bridge Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30324 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Great guitar store. Took my Gibson SG in for a repair. They took it right away and fixed it on the spot. Highly professional and friendly with first class workmanship. I cannot recommend these guys more!
Stopped in to check out this new guitar store after a friend told me about it. Was really impressed with the inventory of electric guitars and a small but quality inventory of acoustics. I’m sure the selection will increase over time. The staff is very friendly, I talked with Russ the owner for a while. I’ll be heading back soon.
What a great store with great people. If you love guitars, this is your place. Make sure to see the room of fine instruments downstairs.
Had a lot of records that haven’t been put out or put in sections.
The staff was very friendly and very attentive. All the gear seems to be in great condition, but overall the prices are a too high for this musician’s budget. Watch out for that undisclosed “checkout fee” 😉
Beautiful collection of guitars on sale and consignment, plus a pretty decent record shop!
The owner of this business scams customers online making false claims regarding the authenticity and value of his Guitars. Have a luthier you trust look over your next axe from this con-artist.
Went to Big House for son’s 24th birthday present: his first ever guitar. Unfortunately this is not the place for that. If you’re not an experienced guitarist, expect to get dropped like a hot potato.
Disregard, disrespect and unprofessional…
I had a horrible experience at this store. They told me it would take 7 days to change the strings and when I went to get the guitar it was just as I left it. They didn’t even touch the guitar.
I wanted to buy a Gibson and didn’t buy it because of my bad experience. They missed an opportunity for additional business, and I will never visit this store again.
I do, however, recommend Maple Street Guitars which in my opinion is the best guitar shop in GA. I was very happy with my experience there! They`re professionals.
14. Jackson’s Music Store Inc
Address: 1651 Horizon Pkwy #500, Buford, GA 30518 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Jackson’s is a great local business! Their education reps are always especially helpful with our instrument rentals, repairs, and equipment needs and go out of their way to make sure we have everything we need in our band room.
Great store!! Doug and Joey are great folks and very helpful.
Love Jackson’s Music! Have been our go-to music store for my mom’s guitar needs, and my kids violin needs. Always very helpful! Went in yesterday to have my daughter’s violin repaired and they fixed it immediately!! Have gone above and beyond to help us with fixing every problem, ordering things we need, and finding everything we have needed for a while now. Check them out
They have fair prices and a mini guitar-center-like selection of guitars. My only complaint is I felt pushed to make a sale when I looked at guitars.
Employees know there job but convenience is a -1
Chad was very helpful.
We have appreciated Jackson music for years, Joey the owner is very nice. I could not get my Mic to get sound out of it so the employee was helping me out Saturday,, he said try these cables and let’s see what happens,, it did not work because the problem was in my floor sound box,, gain was turned down. , I brought back my cables on Monday and different employee said it looks like you probably used them all weekend and now bringing them back? I said no that’s not the issue, he’s giving me Grief on $20 cables for 20 minutes,, wants restocking fee lol, I said to him this is bs, than he said he not going to refund me because I’m cursing him , I was no way shape or form cursing him,, he took $5 out for restocking fee,, pathetic
DO NOT GO HERE!! i went in to rent an instrument for my daughter for school and got such negativity from THE OWNER’S WIFE. First i was questioned because i only gave them my cell number and refused to give them my 13 year old daughters phone number. I got questioned 5 times if she was really my daughter simply because we have different last name and that was after i told her it was for my daughter. “Are you sure its your daughter?”. Then she said “i am going to be honest, this whole last name not matching throws up red flags for me” and gave me a weird look. I told her i will gladly go elsewhere and to put the stupid instrument back. I will not be questioned with such stupid questions that clearly have an underlying issue to them.
Everyone else was very polite and helpful so kudos to them , their service was good.
Prices are a bit too high on certain instruments plus the employees are very nosey… If you respect personal boundaries go elsewhere.
15. Baker Music Shop
Address: 2 Midtown Loop, Columbus, GA 31906 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Great service, got my kid instrument fix quickly without breaking the bank
Their prices are amazing. They fixed a used trumpet for us and made it better than new. We will always use them. Thank you so much Baker for all your help.
Baker always has what we need when we need it, in stock. They’re knowledgeable, reasonably priced and we’ll stocked. It’s always my first stop.
Very helpful servicemen who answered all my questions.
Knowledgeable and courteous staff. Helped us size and by a viola for our new orchestra student. Will definitely continue using Baker.
A real live music store! Great experience!
Doesn’t rent to Alabama students. Will sell but not rent.
Worst customer service exerience ever.
Baker was rude to us. No good customer service. Didn’t even speak when we walked into the store. We were the only two customers no reason not to speak. I guess they are only nicer to “certain” customers. Long story short I wouldn’t recommend shopping there plus the instruments are old. IJS.
16. Dirt Cheep Pro Audio & Musical Instruments
Address: 2415 S Cobb Dr SE, Smyrna, GA 30080 , Bande , Georgia , United States
Dirt Cheep is an Amazing music store that provides quality products and service. They are super attentive to my family’s needs and that counts for something. I am very pleased I stumbled upon them. We will always bring our business back here!
Muy agradecida. Fue muy cordial el Señor gabriel me explico.
The owner was nice very helpful like this work ethic
Slow service
They’re cheap because the have little worth buying. I don’t know about brass, band, school instruments but their guitars, etc. are nothing to get excited about. Even the bigger name stuff is their entry level offerings. Their pricing doesn’t appear to be any cheaper than other stores. Selection is severely limited. You have to ask yourself, who would trade in a Fender or Gibson on a $300.00 junker from who knows where? Also, I’ve been playing over 60 years and, with rare exceptions never go into D.C.M. without getting a lecture from someone. I get the impression that to work there you need to be a frustrated preacher.
It is NOT dirt cheep!
They charged me a 10% restocking fee for an M-Audio USB interface that had flaky drivers for Windows 7 64-bit. When I told them about this problem one of the guys asked if I was running SP1 or SP2 for Windows 7. When I told him no service packs are out for Windows 7 he looked it up right in front of me and had the audacity to say that M-Audio had drivers for Win 7 SP2. This guy was totally clueless. So I got charged $36 because M-Audio had bad drivers. I won’t be going back.
17. Music & Arts
Address: 875 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd #570, Lawrenceville, GA 30043 , Bande , Georgia , United States
They were very very nice and extremely honest. I even had a nice educational lesson on changing strings on a floating bridge from Aaron. They are also one of the few places that don’t make you buy their strings. Amazing honest service.
Go give them your business!
It worth
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff!
A normally great place, I bought my first bass guitar here years ago and haven’t had a single issue with it. I recently payed and scheduled for a month of vocal lessons. I got my 15 minute trial with the teacher and everything went wonderfully, I loved the teacher. They scheduled someone else in my extract same time, I am unable to come in for any other time and I have yet to even get one full lesson in. This is the first time I have ever been this unsatisfied with this place. I’m highly disappointed and don’t know if I’ll be coming back to this location again.
Nice place to find learning materials and instruments
Had a rental from them for almost a year. Was a rocky start to be honest as the kids waited several weeks for their instruments and they were never serviced at the school as mentioned in the rental agreement. Assuming they are just short staffed like everyone else.
Went into the location to go ahead and purchase the rental we had and they were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend as long as it isn’t an urgent need
8/27/2023 4:25 pm
I just called this location to check the in stock status of a hard shoulder rest for a 13inch viola. The person answering stated that he couldn’t check if they were in stock right now but they likely do have it. I informed him that I have a 20 commute to the store and asked if he could please check for certain prior to me driving there. He told me no he couldn’t do that. I then asked is someone else available to check for me, he said no. As someone providing customer service, he could have the placed me on hold or asked me to call back in a few minutes to allow time for him to check or while he finished serving in-store customers, if that was the case. I will NEVER patron this location ever. Customer service and politeness goes a long way.
I walk into the store to pick up a pair of sticks and to see the price of a seat/throne for my drum set and was prepared to buy if the price was right. I asked the 2 gentlemen if they sell seats for drum sets and they proceed to answer a question that I didn’t ask. They told me that they sell drum sets but not individual pieces. But when I walk over to the small section where they had percussion accessories, they had an individually packaged seat for sale but kept repeating the same statement. Please hire people that listen to questions before answering. Also hire people that want to do more than have a jam session on company time and won’t treat paying customers as if they are disturbing the jam session. The gentlemen were not rude but they were dismissive. Very disappointed on my first visit to this store and it’s likely that won’t be back.
They did not give me the mouthpiece that I need for band and I got yelled at by my teacher for not being prepared for class
