Date of performance 06-19-21: One month prior to our wedding date, we contacted Adeline on Gig Salad to perform the ceremony music for our Wedding. I cannot say enough good things about Adeline and her performance!! Throughout the planning processes, she was prompt to respond to all of my inquiries and met with us over zoom since my husband and I were novices to hiring a musician for an event like this. Not only did Adeline bring ideas to the table but she was also open to learning a new song from the recessional piece of our wedding (“Sign, sealed & delivered” by Stevie Wonder). Adeline definitely added that extra element to our wedding to make it truly magical!

never had a problem going to this store before but today when I went to rent an instrument, the guy I asked for help (manger I guess?) had this attitude of there’s no way you can get this. First when I asked him for the instrument he said they didn’t have it ,then he found it. Then when I showed him my car he said there was no way the instrument would fit in there just by looking at it. I had to ask can we at least try and when we did it fit. Lastly when It came time to pay he wouldn’t let me proceed b/c I didn’t have a credit card which is understandable and fine but the tone he used and the way he talked to me was really not called for. The whole process I just felt like he didn’t want to give this instrument to me, it was as if he was trying to find every excuse in the book to not let me have the instrument ugh! I guess I’m mostly bothered by the way that he talked to me and his unwillingness to try everything he could to try and allow me to rent the instrument. Towards the end it a little better, he said he would hold the instrument for me but I don’t know about going there again, it was just bad customer service. I work in a place I have to deal with customers all the time and I never talk to them the way he talked to, I didn’t deserve to feel like there was no way I was ever going to get that instrument and that’s the way he made me feel. I don’t think he meant to make me feel that way but that is indeed how I felt after my visit today.
Dropped off an instrument for repair. Told an estimated 2 weeks. Called after 1 month and could not even get an answer as to if the instrument had even been looked at! There was no one at the store that could even answer a question as the three staff members I spoke to stated they had no idea! Horrible customer service!

They keep charging me after I made the payment over a month ago by phone. Their main office doesn’t communicate efficiently with their stores and vice versa. They claim they can’t see a transaction history of my payment even though it’s RIGHT on my bank account and cleared. I offered to bring a copy of my bank statement and they always say they’ll follow up and don’t. It is incredibly annoying and frustrating to have to deal with something so menial in such a poor manner. They keep sending me collection letters for something I PAID! If this hits my credit because they can’t communicate effectively I will be sure to make a HUGE deal.
I purchased a single set of music lessons from Music & Arts, and they auto-billed me for recurring lessons. After multiple trips to the store, and the personal assurances of the store manager that the incorrectly billed lessons would be refunded, I eventually requested a chargeback on my credit card after they failed to refund me.
Then they re-charged me for the amount I got back in my credit card chargeback, and immediately sent my account to collections!
They will charge you for services not rendered, lie to your face about fixing their own errors, and then damage your credit score when you have to take matters into your own hands to address their theft against you.
This is quite literally the single least ethical business I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Stay far, far away.
Terrible service. My girlfriend takes her son here for guitar and the teacher stood them up 5 different times and they didn’t reimburse her for 3 of those 5 classes. There staff told her son not to attend the class on 12/21/18 and his mother called to confirm this and the staff member failed to contact her back and when the teacher showed up to teach the lesson he decided he was not going to refund the lesson. When I say stood them up 5 times I’m not saying he called them 20 minutes before and said hey I can’t make it. I’m talking about them driving 45 minutes away just to find out the guy isn’t even there and failed to tell anyone. Is this good customer service? Is this fair ? You charge people 30 dollars for a half an hour and you don’t even show up?

As the parent of a middle school musician, this store is convenient for us and will order something quickly if they don’t have it. I haven’t been thrilled with our music lesson experience (some seem over priced and its rare that you get your full time due to so many lessons scheduled) am not sure that we will continue with lessons if we can find alternative. However, my son thinks his saxophone instructor is great and that’s an important part of the experience. He needs to be comfortable with who we use.
Horrible customer service. Don’t expect a call back cause u will never get it accept from Mike, best one in there. Ended up dealing with the Camden store where they are fantastic, helpful and never made me feel like I was a problem while trying to make the right decision buying an instrument.

If I can give ZERO stars I will without any hesitation. They have the worst staff with major attitude issues. You walk in as a customer and ask them something, they get irritated for “doing their job”. Guess all they want to do is listen to their iphone and spend free time there !! There is a guy by name “Josh” – he is among the worst ! The second is his manger I guess, the one with the long hair. I don’t want to even remember his name. When my daughter’s flute was repaired and sent here (5 visits and yet they don’t have a clue what’s going on), these guys acted as if Kirkwood store is responsibile and was extremely disresepctful. Throwing the client files on the table and one guy almost approaching me (Josh) with an attitude to confront. The other guy with the long hair started yelling and pointing fingers. My daughter and I exited with embarassment. This is what we get for being a customer for 5 + years. Kevin from Kirkwood store on the other hand is very gentle, helpful and completely customer oriented. Middletown store – no wonder has only few customers or students walking in even before COVID. The staffs there definitely need customer service training and importantly emotional intelligence. A bunch of arrogant inexperienced men showing their anger and frustration in life on customers ! Pathetic & Horrible !! Stay away from this store if you want a good customer experience overall.

I’m prefacing this by saying the people there seemed really nice but – the record selection is abysmal and it kind of looks like a bomb went off in there. I assume they sold more in the past and specialize in just glass nowadays but if they cleaned up their record selection and updated their back catalog, I could see things changing. They should also try advertising their recording studio.
While I was there, the person behind the counter didn’t even aknowldge my existence.
This review is strictly for the recording studio, not the storefront.
The owner assured me he has experience with mixing and mastering and has had many artists come into his store to record. Taking his word on good faith, I followed suit.
The entire time he was trying to figure out his system while we were recording and it was clear he had no idea what he was doing. He also claimed that he was very good in particular at recording the drums, but used only 2 SM57 overhead mic’s to do the job.
The recordings not only sounded amateur and disorganized, but it took weeks to finish. Not only that but I had to assist him throughout the entire process. I would NEVER go to him for recording again.

Being a frequent Rainbow patron when I lived in Delaware actually had a massive impact on my music taste by opening me up to all kinds of music from around the world – a mission carried on by its nearby sister store International Groove Records, which is also a can’t-miss. You can find everything from the latest releases to rare grails to beloved classics, often cheaper than you’d find elsewhere. Even after moving out of state I still try to come by when I can – and the people who work there are brilliant, friendly, and the kindest folks you could hope to meet.

Small but diverse selection of records that can be a little expensive, but they do have a few $1 bins with some decent LPs. They also carry a huge selection of CDs, and some cassettes. They do have a few record players on sale, with accessories to clean and fix them so that is pretty convenient. I’ve gone here many times and will continue to do so.
New location is nice as is it much larger and the inventory has been vastly increasesd. Definitely worth a browse!

Was very excited to visit rainbow records but left incredibly disappointed. Went in hoping to find some great records but all they had were 40 copies of jack harlow’s newest project. Inventory was infuriatingly disorganized and overpriced. $25 new wave mystery box was a thinly-veiled scam. It’s obvious they were going to throw out some records but knew they could pull a fast one on some unsuspecting customers and chose that instead. Sadly I will not be back.

The reason I went to Best Buy was to visually check out Washers and dryers. I have somewhat limited space and the only units they had were apt/trailer sized. Fellow did…ok, but did not even try to “Help me out”.
If you go there ask for John. He is the most patient salesman, especially compared to other impatient jerks at Bestbuy. This is the newly opened Bestbuy store, and I went there second time with my wife. As always, salesman at Bestbuy try best to avoid any work, and keep pointing at each other. Luckily, this time I met John, though he is little old, but he showed us all the options, and told us precisely the right points, which I too had in my mind to make the purchase. Four stars for ‘old’ John.

These guys can’t handle corona. To about 30 minutes to find my online order, after being verbally strip searched about why I was there at the door. I used to love best buy. Only benefit was that I got something on black friday at a better price than kohls.
So I came here to check out new Bluetooth speakers. They had a very small selection to start with and they all looked the same but for different prices. I had a very nice representative show me one that was good by taking it out of the box and giving me a live demo so i could see just how good the speaker was. I thanked him for his help and he was on his way. I continued to look though to make sure that I wouldn’t end up buying something and hating it, so I grabbed one that had a different type of packaging. To my surprise when I picked it up the packaging fell apart and it was obvious that it had been damaged some way. Since the packaging fell apart I figured I might as well try this one to see if it sounded any different since it had different packaging. My girlfriend and I sat on the ground and tested it out with our music since the display one would only play one preselected song which wasn’t even my type of music. As we are listening to it sharing opinions we get approached by a large man in a yellow shirt telling us that we aren’t allowed to open these things and he kept pushing the idea that we had to buy it now, to which I told him that we didn’t open it it was already damaged and came out by itself. He continued to be an all around jerk even though I was explaining to him that we were intending to buy one but couldn’t tell the difference between them to which he replied they are all the same and all sound the same. He then told me that there was a demo one which wasn’t even the one I was holding and that I need to use that one to test them. I then asked him if I could play my own music on here and he said yes you can and I said no I can’t and he went to press the button and realized that I couldn’t play my own so he then said that I could use the demo they had to which I responded no I can’t because I don’t listen to that kind of music. Aggravated I asked him if he was trying to imply that we intended to steal this product to which he got more in my face, to where he was practically spitting on me, and started being smart saying if that was the case that he would be calling the cops and kicking me out as if he was doing a favor by harassing me instead. He left us by practically yelling at us not to open any more which we hadn’t in the first place. I then took my $30 speaker up to the front to pay for it and to my not so surprise it rang up as $42. Good thing my buddy yellow shirt was near by because now we had to do a price check. Yellow shirt stands there for a good six mins looking at the speakers trying to find which one it was that said it was $30, finally realizing what I had said all along that the speakers were different and had very little printed on the box to tell you which was which. He then angrily hands me the speaker that I wanted in the color I didn’t want because they couldn’t find mine because it was so disorganized. Worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. Do not go here spend the gas and go ANYWHERE else.
Went to return a brand new in box, unopened power cord for my Macbook. Wanted to purchase a GPS that was more expensive than the power cable. First customer service could not accept the return because I didn’t have my receipt… Went home, brought back the receipt and then was told I couldn’t return the item because it was 10 days over their 30 day policy. No option for a restocking fee or anything, just no couldn’t help me. Never going to buy anything from them again and neither should you. No one in the store even knows anything about electronics, why would they? The manager couldn’t even authorize a return on a brand new item that was 10 days past their return policy… what is that bullshit? They would rather lose my business then gain a sale…. just a stupid company – I wish there was a small electronics store….

Found this gem here at a pretty good price and in great condition for a used amp. He has some nice guitars for sale, and a few on a rotating sale.
You could tell from the stock and the building the business had longevity, and is bigger inside than appears from the outside. I didn’t venture past the electric guitars into to percussion or acoustic room, but my friend spent time in the acoustic room and came out smiling.
Overall it was a good experience and I may be back to get one of his guitars before I leave town.

If I could rate with negative stars I would. They have had a Peavy amp for 15 months for repair and it was never even looked at. Purchased from them three years ago. And they may have had it longer than us. WARNING go elsewhere if you are looking for good service.
I bought my sons trumpet here. No problem. Good deal, But the manager was restocking the guitar picks.The prices were from 25 cents to 75 cents. I heard the manager tell the employee to make them all one dollar. The employee hesitated and the manager said: Do it, Frig it theyll pay it. I never went back. I was very disappointed with their train of thought.
Local music stores are a dead concept. Prices are too high coupled with all sales final return policies and poorly maintained inventory. This store is always dead and completely empty whenever I have visited it. When ever I’ve gone into any music store Earl teat or B&B I just feel like they’ve missed the point. They’re so out of touch with the current market it’s like why bother to even exists. These stores must make their money off renting out instruments to middle school children because for musicians these stores don’t offer anything. They’re out of loop with what’s hot and what people want to buy so there’s no reason to shop here. Both Earl teat and B&B say they can order you stuff and it take a week or so to get but why? I can get what I want 1 or 2 day with Amazon Prime or just drive up to Guitar Center in Wilmington and get it the same day. These stores need to rethink themselves and get into the century.

SO unprofessional. I was doordashing and had an order to pick up at this location. I waited an hour and tried to talk to the workers multiple times to see when I would be receiving my order and they stated “you’re going to have to wait because we make our in person orders first” and then I asked again if I should have the person cancel their order and I got no response. There were two people just sitting in the office watching. The workers were not even trying to hurry to get everything caught up. This was an absolute MESS and I will never go back to this wawa again.
Do NOT ORDER on the app, apparently they make everyone’s food who ordered in store first (employee said to me) and I waited 35 minutes to get my food.So when the app said 10 min turned into everyone who walked in while I was waiting getting there food first. 35 MINUTE wait for WAWA. So what’s the purpose of the app ? Have your store opt out if your store and staff can’t handle it. Ridiculous !
