Amazing experience purchasing a Eurorack module from sunset synths! Super fast shipment and very friendly customer service, which goes a long way in my book
Excellent customer service, was prompt in correcting my address. Easy to order from their website and my module was boxed instead of plastic packaged. Came with a cool inspirational Tarot card too! Will be making further purchases from them if they have stock on what I’m wanting.
A+ Customer Service –
Purchased a Module that I could not find anywhere else –
Transactioon and shipping went smoothly!
Thanks a Ton!

Even I travel all the way from Saint Cloud they are Very kind workers I suggest this store and employees to everyone who lives in Florida or visiting! PS: Mr John who fixes instruments at Music & Arts is also excellent fixing my soprano saxophone 2 years ago and worked very well! #Johnrhythm
The staff was amazing and answered all my questions when I was inquiring about both lessons and rentals. They never made me feel like I was a nuisance. They answered all my questions with detail and never pressured me into anything. Thank you for all the help and we can’t wait to get started!
GREAT staff! Extremely friendly and patient. Bought a beginner’s guitar for my son. Did not want to spend a lot of money on it, as I don’t know if he will like it. The store was busy, but still felt like we were the only ones in the store, as the team was so helpful. They allowed my son to play on a couple of guitars and he was over the moon. Chris helped us mostly and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you… we will be back!
Pretty good little shop. Friendly staff. Does inhouse lessons. Mainly focused on school band instruments.
Very small selection of guitars and amps
The staff was very helpful in answering my questions even though they didn’t have a Cello my son’s size in stock it was a very informative visit
Prices are much higher than guitar center, musicians friend and wwbw, and yet, music and arts is owned by guitar center. Music lesson prices are ridiculously higher than everyone else. Have to go into a store to apply for a credit card? Ridiculous!! They need to offer an online credit application like the rest of the world. Will not do business with music & arts for these reasons.
Worst customer service lack of communication yes the first time this is happening need to tran the employee better and teach them how to communicate with us the customer and I never received any response from the manager at all
I was not impressed with this location. The manager on the phone sounded friendly, but was slightly strange and rude in person. They were very disorganized and their computer system constantly would not be working. The bathroom was out of order all the time. when you walk in there is a horrible smell with a dingy feel to it. The rest of the staff was nice but poorly managed. I think this franchise is only looking to make money and not have personal relationships with their customers who come in for lessons. I would steer away from music and arts, because I’ve had similar experience when I lived in Connecticut as well. find yourself a local place that offers lessons on a personal level.
6. East West Records
Address: 4895 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32806 , Belle Isle , Florida , United States
The owner of this store was very kind and helpful with my experience at East West Records. They Have vinyls,cds,cassettes,DVDs/Blurays etc. It’s a small store, but it’s absolutely worth going.
Great variety of music. It’s like going back in time. Amazing place.
Aweomse record store. Absolutely loved it. The owners are great. It’s like a time capsule taking you back to when the music was actually good.
cozy record/vynil/LP and CD music store on Orange avenue. Prices were likable.
Cool little hole in the wall record store. It’s been there for a long time. A great way to spend a rainy afternoon.
Good place
The only problem is it states you open at 1100am but you are closed change time on web if this is norm. Other than that great store!!
Nice guy at the counter, but their prices have doubled in the last year.
Dont like it when albums dont have prices on them. I feel like you never get good deal when you ask for a price when they know your interested.
7. Sam Ash Music Stores
Address: 4644 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 , Belle Isle , Florida , United States
Friendly knowledgeable staff! Will most definitely be coming back for more!
Very good costumer service. Loved the place, it is so neatly organized and also the fact that they have an acoustic sound room for you to try the guitars. I bought an awesome guitar at a very good price.
A great selection of musical equipment with reasonable prices
The gentlemen were very helpful and gave me information about lessons for my son. The cashier was especially friendly and funny!
It was a easy purchase for a music stand.
The people were friendly.
I visited this store on 06/08/18 at about 3:30 pm with one of my army friends, with the intention of listening to several options of monitor speakers (Yamaha, JBL or KRK), and the person who works in that area (adult almost white hair) asked me, if I needed something and I told him to hear how these speakers sound, the speakers were connected to a computer. First he told me, you will not hear the sound if you are in the IPhoto application. And once he connected the system in garage band and went back to his working station. I decided to increase the volume of the music in order to hear the sound quality (nothing extraordinary). While listening to the music for a couple of minutes, this gentleman came again and without apologize or asking permission, turned the music completely down and told me “I turned down because I can listen to the new customer”. There was a person playing loud music with two keyboards close to my location. With this bad experience with this employee, I left the store and bought the speaker from Guitar Center.
In my 61 years of age I had never seen such bad customer service and rudeness from a sales representative. I hope the Manager take notes, customer service is vital in any organization that deals with people, and employees need to treat customer with courtesy and respect.
I did not encounter any one in the Guitar section that was knowledgeable on the amplifiers I was looking at. I asked many questions only to be told that the answer is maybe. Experience was like dealing with someone from a pawnshop. From the time I walked in to see the front desk person reading a book and not even acknowledging me until I asked for assistance until the time the price on the amplifier changed multiple times while speaking with Ricky. I’ll go to Guitar Center or buy online from now on
I was at the store today and my experience was awfully .The store is too hot Inside. Not AC!! And is so sad to see the employees sweating and nobody was there.Iam wondering why no costumer at all and also the employees was not in a good mood.
?? NOT AC IN THIS WEATHER!!
Horrible I couldn’t breathe and I lefted.Poor employees!! Feel sorry for them.
8. TR Music & Voice Lessons
Address: 4305 Kildaire Ave, Orlando, FL 32812 , Belle Isle , Florida , United States
They has truly helped solidify and enhance my daughter’s interest in playing music. It continues to be a very fun, positive experience for her. I am not sure she could have this kind of experience elsewhere. Lou and the team are all top-notch.
Helpful and kind staff. I didn’t feel pressured to buy, and they were more conversational, just telling me their honest opinions about the instruments. They really do have a great selection of ukuleles. It was ridiculous. I found one I loved, and they were all great prices… Comparable prices to guitar center but waaay better selection and quality. Would recommend to anyone.
My bass lessons with my instructor Greg have been fantastic. The personalized attention he gives me has helped me improve my playing and understand music on a deeper level.
9. Serenghetti Guitars
Address: Orlando, FL 32801 , Belle Isle , Florida , United States
Always helpful
Very knowledgeable
Store is clean and well organized
Great stock
They simply have everything you need if you are a musician. Or if you know someone who is you can find the perfect gift. Great prices!
I have been at the store and have purchased several guitars over the years have had some great experiences. I used to shop there when Mike Spagnoli worked in the store. The staff seems to be nice and knowledgeable. However I found the store manager seem to lack professionalism. I was shopping at the store one day when one of guitar staff Made a political statement about kid Rock. I was shocked because his statement was totally unprofessional and very tasteless When I brought it up with the general manager he seemed to just shrug it off as to, oh that’s just the world we live in now and didn’t offer any apology for the actions of his staff. Don’t get me wrong everybody is entitled to their opinion. Just not at work I didn’t agree with him and honestly his language and remarks where distasteful. I just decided I didn’t want to shop at a store where the staff can just decide to deliver unsolicited tasteless opinions and language without recourse or apologies . Music stores are like my Disney World. I enjoy looking at guitars and playing them and occasionally buying one or two not to mention accessories.
I was trying out acoustic guitars looking to make a purchase when an employee came in the room and told me to stop trying out guitars as he had to sanitize them at the end of the day. The proceeded to slam the door on the way out hard enough to shake the wall and give everyone inside the room a scare.
I did end up purchasing solely because the price was too good to find anywhere else, but will not be coming back
Edit: Was called and apologized to. I can appreciate a store that is actively working to resolve problems.
I’ve been to this store several times and have always had really great dealings with Wally. He’s the man. Very easygoing and very patient and willing to help a person out to find the right gear. Go see Wally in guitars if you need anything!
Sam Ash on E. Colonial dr. Closed there doors at 6:45 to make it looks like there closed. If I wouldn’t got out my truck to see if the door was lock I would have not being able to purchase my DJ Equipment.
My kids took music lessons.
We had a lousy experience with Ambika in piano. She was very unprofessional and entitled. She changed class dates and times several times and even cancelled at the last second.
The other teacher was great, however. So choose teachers wisely and don’t be afraid to switch if you feel uncomfortable with your teacher.
A very dismal store. Their stocking of products is inconsistent and lazy, the technicians are untrained and sloppy, their knowledgeability towards the products they actually do carry is almost nonexistent.
Called ahead to make sure they had what I needed in stock- repeated the item description 3 times- and was told yes, drove 30 minutes to get it, it was not the item I asked for. The employee was unapologetic for the issue, got an attitude, and blamed me. I’ve given this store more than enough chances to get back to its glory days but it has gone too far downhill to get back to being a worthy place shop.
13. Red Lion Recording Studio
Address: 5500 Commerce Dr, Orlando, FL 32839 , Belle Isle , Florida , United States
nice place in florida cool music and freindly staff. keep up guys
When it comes to recording studio sound quality, gear quality, and creative environment, Red Lion is second to none. Love this place.
I get the privilege to call Caine and Gus friends as well as work along side them occasionally. This studio is on top of top of the line. If you’re ready to take your project to the highest tier of quality, give them a call and schedule. You won’t be disappointed.
14. CornerStone Music, LLC
Address: 798 W Montrose St, Clermont, FL 34711 , Belle Isle , Florida , United States
been taking lessons from peat for almost 3 years and it has been amazing he knows so much Kris is also EXTREAMLY knowledgeable great guys cornerstone is like my second home I recommend it to everyone I know that plays guitar or any other instruments and there word is their word if they say they are going to do it its gonna get done.
Bought 4 cords the other day in an emergency & JT helped me out (I think his name was) with all my questions. I even returned 2 of them and they were fine with it which I really appreciate. Really great service & store – I highly recommend. Thank you!
Kris and Pete are the BEST. I’ve shopped music stores all over the globe. In this age of corporate stores, these guys bring the joy of a owner occupied store to you every time. Always happy and helpful. Ditch Sam and Center and reward yourself with a fine instrument and service as well. Loo says THIS IS THE PLACE!
Got awesome tagima540,great action, very happy with ,smart staff, average prices
Good place to take care of your musical needs
Excellent service as usual
For the several thousands of dollars my family has spent at this business, I expect Pete to be friendly/pleasant towards us(at the very least), for life, but he clearly can’t maintain that. He started acting rude towards my mom some years back, and now me. For no apparent reason. I hope that keeping that sour attitude of yours is worth losing 20+ year customers who often went out of their way to spend money at your establishment and stay local. Weird way to treat people who earned you money. Avoid. He’s one of those guys who thinks everyone is a “democrat”. Super solid reason to push customers away.
15. GLAD Empire
Address: 4751 Distribution Ct #1, Orlando, FL 32822 , Belle Isle , Florida , United States
This is THE place to go for good guitars, accessories, and service.
Positive Chaos first stop when buying a new guitar! Robbie is great.
Rob, the owner, was incredibly professional and courteous to my son and I when we went in to buy a few things. I love seeing a small business owner instead of these huge music conglomerates. Fair prices, some beautiful axes. Would highly recommend.
Replaced strings of my daughter’s guitar. Did not tune at all. Poor communication. Was on the phone while checking me out and had difficulty asking / answering questions. Stated would clean up guitar that had been in storage but wasn’t touched. Took several days to replace strings. Would not go here again. Poor service
17. Pinecastle Methodist Thrift
Address: 717 E Wallace St, Pine Castle, FL 32809 , Belle Isle , Florida , United States
I found many treasures here . Goes to a great thing .
Great store, it is small, but the prices are excellent. The staff is very polite. They take cash only. Worth it to stop in and check out their wares.
Cool thrift store
Nice! Cutezy, Got a Columbia top for a few bucks. Wide selection of hats for a buck if you like hat hunting. Did get Jesus checked by someone inside but with a name like Pinecastle Methodist Thrift it were probably a given.
Cute little thrift store, friendly people. Prices are okay for thrift stores
Just awesome
Your classic tiny little church thrift store. Clean and well-organized, crowded work stuff but not too claustrophobic.
Edit–nevermind. Never going here again.
Drove all the way here because it’s listed as open at 10am, sign on the door says it’s closed on Mondays.
They said “cash only” to keep gov outta their wallet,
18. Island Music
Address: 465 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953 , Belle Isle , Florida , United States
Very helpful..now we know where to go to get what we need. Very good customer service..will keep going back
They had the items I needed with the help of a staffer.
No doubt hands down the best Guitar Shop on the Space Coast.
Small store, helpful staff, got what I needed. Previously have bought instruments that I continue to enjoy.
I like this place. Because no matter how busy they are. Always try to help any way they can. They go over and above.
It’s a nice store..good music stuff
Has quite a few instruments for the size. Has a recording studio for what that’s worth. I’ve heard some of the noise that come out of there??
Don’t expect any service though. I think the average age of the employees is about 17. And of course they are all Woke and don’t have a clue. Didn’t see any Quota Hires? So if your buying strings or picks you should be good. I really tried hard to buy a guitar there a couple years ago. Ended up ordering a Taylor from Taylor because they wouldn’t. To lazy I guess?
ENTER AT OWN RISK
Dropped off hubbys fender said would be done in few days…went back in one week nothing done didnt even order part…gave another week still nothing done no part even ordered. Just picked up guitar will go to sam ash. Lost a customer.
No part that I needed said they could get it it’ll take about two weeks I order to myself up on Amazon and already got it sorry sorry customer service
EXCELLENT service. Very nice variety of music choices. I found exactly what I wanted, and price was reasonable. I look forward to shopping there again.
The facility is so neat and well kept, I enjoy the display of instruments. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good retail experience
They offer classes for the guitar enthusiasts as well!!!
Better than their local big box music store competition.
Understaffed
Good for other things, lacking on banjo items
Absolutely the WORST experience in any store in my 80-year life!! The staff knows nothing of the products they sell…can’t even match a purchased instrument with its proper case. They are indifferent to customer’s concerns, and act like they wish you would just go away. Don’t let the long hair fool you, folks, these people are NOT your friends! I gave them 2 stars because their inventory is good…but they need to fire EVERYBODY in the store and start over again!
This store is horrible. I had a guitar amp stolen from me during a burglary. I got information that it was pawned at this location. I went onto their website and sure enough, there it was. I contacted the store, they verified that it was in their store and not sold. I explained the situation and asked that he hold it through the weekend until the detective working on my case could get in touch with him and make arrangements to get it back. After putting me on hold for awhile, he said that he did put it on hold (took my name, number, etc).
Monday morning I contacted the detective who ultimately made contact with the store…. guess what? They all of a sudden sold it, online. (funny, they took it offline when I asked them to hold it).
After speaking with the detective I learned that this store has rather shady practices when it comes to pawned items… They are supposed to hold the item for 30 days before releasing it to sale (they only wait 15). They also put the description of my amp into the system wrong, which made it hard for the detective to find.
So now I sit here looking at the cabinet that has no head, and the parts the burglar forgot to take (the pedal board, back cover, etc), unable to use it because this store wanted to be shady about returning merchandise to their rightful owners…. I was even going to pay for it just to get it back, but, it had to be documented through law enforcement because the individual is being charged.
So what did we learn? 1) This store is just as shady as the individuals who steal and pawn the items. 2) If you are a criminal, this is a great place to sell your stolen merchandise because they work to circumvent the law and returning property to their owners.
Beware of the “manager” here, he goes by Allan. Sold my partner a USED keyboard (for the price of brand new) that reeked of cigarettes, the silicone components coming apart, and the ports were malfunctioning. As if that were not already a blatant indication that the product was used, the products were also already registered and my partner could not get the software to even use it. Kiss your comission goodbye, big dawg. Hope this review helps some people avoid a headache.
