Jerry did a full on restoration of my vintage Gibson acoustic. He came highly recommended from a high end guitar shop in the Denver Metro area. The work and communication were on point! Highly recommended.
My husband reached out about purchasing a piano after years of wanting to learn and never practicing on his electric keyboard.
As first time piano owners, the buying process was easy and educational. Fred took the time to explain the pros and cons of different styles and the needs of each.
He and his son delivered the piano and the whole process was super easy and pleasant.
We will definitely be reaching out for tuning and any piano needs.
Fred and Matt Goheen sell only the finest pianos. They are master craftsmen who pour themselves into every detail from tuning to the aesthetics of every gorgeous piano they sell!
Can’t recommend enough! Excellent work repairing and tuning our old piano. So interesting to hear all of the history behind it, too. The kids and I loved it. Our piano is as good as new!
We were looking for a professional Getzen 3062AFR bass trombone online for WEEKS, when we came across this store. We were able to get the Getzen 3062AFR bass trombone used (but in impecable condition) for an excellent price. A new Getzen 3062AFR is very expensive, so we eagerly bought it. As we purchased it, Gina was very helpful and gave us photos and a thorough description of the instrument. As the product shipped, we were frequently updated on where it was on its process. An amazing store.
Gina is a consummate musical instrument expert, especially when it comes to Flutes, Horns, and the litany of Brass Band instruments. I reached out via email to her business after hours and received a return phone call immediately and she proceeded to run me thru the gamut of her Saxophone collection on hand and educated me on each and every one I inquired about and lastly she offered an a phenomenal deal on a mint condition Sax that I would have been foolish to bypass. To top it all off she had the instrument overnighted to me (unbeknownst to me). My inspection proved that she was spot on in her description on the instruments condition. I can’t give enough accolades to Gina and her team. Thanks a million Gina!!!
Ordered a used king trombone. Was in really good condition. No surprise damages or anything, I’d order from here again
6. Kó-fē House
Address: 434 Mountain Ave unit a, Berthoud, CO 80513 , Berthoud , Colorado , United States
A small coffee shop with a big personality. Good coffee (of course!) with a few surprises (have you ever had a unicorn?! yumm!) Breakfast & sandwiches/ salads are also served.
Local artists hang their art on the walls, adding a bit of small-town color in this art-centric community. Worth the stop to enjoy this local gem.
A few outside tables allow “plein air” socializing, & inside seating allows for social distancing.
What a great place for coffee, snack or light lunch! I’ve been several times and its been great each time. Good service and nice vibe!
Been here a few times and the place is just so great. Right in the heart of downtown. Super great atmosphere with ample seating. Great coffee and food. Outdoor seating is limited but so nice. One of my faves.
Employees so nice and helpful! I didn’t find recycling for your plastic cups so 4 stars for now.
The atmosphere at the coffee shop was really cute. I like that they support local artists. Now i order the Vienna vanilla cinnamon latte. It was good but was really sweet. But I enjoyed it.
Loved the atmosphere, service was fantastic and the food was really good! I liked my adult grilled cheese, I question if it was really grilled but I would order it again. I brought a breakfast sandwich home for my son, he loved it, plus a piece of carrot cake for everyone and it was unanimous-best carrot cake we’ve had since moving to Colorado. Delicious, highly recommended. I’ll be going back to try more
Coffee is great, but something has happened to the food since the original owners sold it in 2022.
Beware the nest of Karens
I was going to go in but the sign out front told me I couldn’t.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing a classical guitar from Slick today. Not only is he easy to talk to, but he has a wealth of knowledge and stellar customer service skills. I walked away with exactly what I wanted, and all the confidence behind it. He even changed the strings and oiled up the beauty for me!
No reason to ever go to a Guitar Center, and if you’re a local there’s no excuse to. Slick is the man, give this place a visit.
5 stars, 6 if I could.
Great place,Slick the owner was very helpful and has beautiful guitars at really reasonable price ‘s. Teton guitars are amazing.
About the only place in Loveland go for strings. Owner is knowledgeable.
The man knows his stuff
10. Real Deal Guitar Repair
Address: 320 N Railroad Ave, Loveland, CO 80537 , Berthoud , Colorado , United States
I called to ask a question, super nice guy. I also saw he had zero reviews! So here’s a review for ya
Brought in my 7 String to get rigged up & it came out perfect! REAL DEAL right here!
Bobby IS the real deal!
I recently brought in my tele and a newly gifted little Martin. I enjoy tinkering with the tele myself, but wanted to get a professional setup to bring it back to a good place. The little Martin needed a bit more love as Martin’s factory setup was quite high and as Bobby pointed out, had the slightest neck bow along with a few frets that needed attention.
Bobby’s work on both is truly fantastic. My little Martin is now punching above its weight class and plays like BUTTER. I never thought it would feel this easy to play! The tele also feels tremendous – I’ve never had action this low without crazy buzzing.
Working with Bobby was a great experience. Communication was super easy and the prices he charges for the level of work is beyond reasonable. He stands by his work with a 30 day micro-adjustment period if something doesn’t feel right.
It’s great to have a high level luthier in Northern Colorado and I’ll definitely be going back to Bobby for any work I need done. Having a well-setup instrument is vital and having someone to work their magic like Bobby is invaluable.
Thanks Bobby!

Love this place! Great store, great prices on new and used records and some nice vintage gear. They have guitar strings and stuff like that too, they even rent band instruments for students. Family owned and operated. Go here first!
Excellent service
Amazing place! Has become or date time looking through the great inventory and talking with great lady running the place. She finds us the special ones we are looking for and is very welcoming
We come here for music lessons. There are many music instructors who teach different instruments here. It’s conveniently located here.
Friendly staff. Alright prices. Clean store. Decent selection. I just prefer a larger selection.
Downtown Sound is an old-school vinyl shop for the serious music enthusiast. We always find a classic album or a rare new release. Plus they offer music lessons and are active in the community with interactive events.
Parents that need to rent an instrument form Music & Arts… DONT USE DOWNTOWN SOUND AS A PICK UP SITE! I returned my sons cello at the end of May and Music & Arts never received it. I have called Downtown Sound trying to get it settled and it still has not been returned. I have been charged for 3 months that Downtown Sound has had my sons cello in possession.
Good place to buy CDs, long as you bring your eye glasses to read, lady they’re not a very good piece of people person
They have about 5000 records no one wants. Called the day before to ask if they had some different artists and the guy tells me oh ya a ton. Come the next day and there was NOTHING
