Has just about everything you need for a good fishing trip. Rods reels bait and tackle along with a wide selection of flies. The guys are really knowledgeable about the local fishing report. Don’t be afraid to ask what’s biting and where. The prices are pretty reasonable. And if you forgot to bring beer they have that there too.
Looking for that just right fly or spinner? they’ve got it along with local info on all the local waters. Friendly staff, fair prices and great selection. If you’re fishing these waters, make sure and stop here!
This is the place to go when fishing in this area. Ray and Rick are friendly and knowledgeable.
I always stop in to get the up to advice on the areas fishing. Their always been helpful and stocked with all the supplies you need for your trip.
Fishing tackle & gift shop next door
One of the best fishing gear shop east side of Sierra Nevada.
Time for a change. I and friends have been going here since mid 80’s from Mammoth Lakes. We all discussed how the last few times in here the owner has become very rude. We will find a different place for flies etc.
Have been coming here for years, but never again.
Ken’s sporting goods does not care about the welfare of its customers. This place is in open defiance of the state’s mandated order for employees to wear a mask. If they don’t care enough about their customers to protect them, then I as a customer will never support them. I will buy my supplies elsewhere , even if that means having to drive to the next town. If you need fishing supplies you can head over to the Bridgeport Marina and see Chase. They are only about a mile outside of town. They’re pretty well stocked with fishing supplies and you can find all you’ll need to fish the area. They wear mask and they are great people.
Remember, the mask is not worn to protect the person wearing it, but rather those around you.
By not wearing the mask they are contributing to the propagation of this virus.
This virus is for real my daughter and son-in-law recently tested positive for it.
Got what we needed at this store. However, I do want to note the difference in the way my family was treated at the store compared to how the next customers were treated. The people who walked in after us were greeted warmly and offered helpful information about fishing. I, on the other hand, had to reach out and prompt the gentleman behind the counter to acknowledge us and provide us with what we needed. There were no other customers in the store before us. When I called for information the previous day, the person who answered was very helpful. I hate to fall back on the easy answer, but the most obvious reason is that my husband and daughter are brown. Ken’s is the only game in town and I’d return if I absolutely had to, but I would prefer to spend my money elsewhere.

The lady who runs the place is wonderful and a joy to interact with.
What a beautiful store! I love stopping in to talk with Renee and buy some crystals. The prices are great and Renee is a delight!
The owner Renee is such a sweetheart and a beautiful, kind, honest, dependable and helpful local with loads of artful finds that you can purchase as a momento of your road trip. Plus, she lets me perform country and western music out front on summer Sundays!

The best deli sandwich’s I stop here every time I drive by, they are very friendly and affordable
Super sandwich
Les propriétaires sont vraiment très très sympa.
Merci pour ce délicieux sandwich
Had amazing sandwiches and even better customer service. Welcome respite from the road and has us on our way full and very satisfied. Incredible jerky!
True butcher shop. Yes it smells but smells like aged meat
This place is absolutely amazing. Got a sando here was so large I had half for lunch and the rest for dinner. Fresh soft bread, nice juicy sliced meat. Service was great too!
I loved this place growing up and try to come when I drive from Vegas to Sonora. Unfortunately their hours say they are open until 6 and it was 530 and they were closed. I should have stopped in Lee vining to eat instead.
I rarely ever give out 1 star rating. I wish I could give him a 0. The place smelled like rotten food. My friend politely ask what his most popular sandwich was and he rudely “all of them”
Horrible service
4. Rhino’s Bar & Grill
Address: 226 Main St, Bridgeport, CA 93517 , Bridgeport , California , United States
Great restaurant in Bridgeport. It’s a sports bar setup. Has pool tables, tvs, jukebox. Looks like could get a little rowdy later in the evening, so recommend families go early to avoid some potential inappropriateness.
Very fast service good food, nice place to end the day with drinks and food. Will stop be again.
Groovy place to eat
Food and service were good but limited selection of draft beers
Pretty good food, not terribly expensive. Service was good. It’s a little above average bar food in a bar.
Service and food were fine.
The place looks happening in the small town of Bridgeport. Looking at how crowded it can get in evening, it seems to be good.
But I had a bad experience with their veggie pizza. It looked nice and crisp but it was also pretty much tasteless without any salt or spices. Never had such a bland pizza anywhere else.
Their understaffed so you’re going to be waiting a very long time. I had to wait about 1 hour for a pizza. Their chicken wings are good though.
Lovely waitress, okay food for traveling through.
