Mr. Scott is the most patient, professional instructor ever! My 8 year daughter is learning so much, she loves it!
Jeff Scott is an outstanding musician and overall a person of good character. When our young daughter is old enough to begin piano lessons, Jeff Scott is the only person we trust to teach her. Look no further for quality and professional piano instruction!
Jeff Scott is a man of high integrity and the best piano teacher in the area. He is the only true professional level piano teacher in Sussex county. His students play at a high level both musically and technically.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY DISHONEST AND SCAM ARTISTS. Jeff & Jeanine Scott are both Thieves. They Sold me a Yamaha “C7” Grand Piano and insisted it was in pristine condition. I wanted to back out of the deal because I am located in Florida and they were making me wait to purchase it for several months. I was threatened that I needed to continue with the purchase of the piano. I against my better judgment bought the piano. I just got it in Florida this week and this Piano is complete junk. There is a crack in the soundboard and several pressure ridges. The case is completely scratched all over. The key bushings need to be replaced. The strings and pins are rusted. Lastly the inside of it is covered in dirt. I contacted Jeff Scott about the issues and he told me it was basically my problem. He misrepresented the condition of the Piano. He told me it was inspected by his technician and to give him a call. I called his technician that said he never had it inspected. I will be taking legal action to get my money back. The Owners are Liars and Thieves. It would be a mistake to do business with them.
2. Antique Alley of Bridgeville LLC
Address: 18208 Sussex Hwy, Bridgeville, DE 19933 , Bridgeville , Delaware , United States
My favorite antique store in Delaware, I spend a few hours in here when I go.
Great store
The place is amazing. . They give you a map and pen to follow great variety of old , new and antiques.
Hell of a selection!
Huge antique store right off Rt.13. Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable. Takes 2 hours to look at everything.
I like the place
Don’t appreciate being followed around like some criminal there are ways to ask a custom if they need help without following them around entire store!
It’s not like it use to be, mostly everything is not what it’s said to be. Not the original pieces. Antiques are old and unique items not soaps, newly items made to look like old. Not satisfied with how the place is becoming.
Antique store or country store? Not a fan
3. Jeff’s Taproom & Grille

OMG..best burger ever!! Beer was cold, service was very good and great atmosphere!!
Wonderful, fun atmosphere. Incredible food. Karaoke, music, drinks, & dancing… What more could you ask for!?
GREAT place
Food was good price is not bad but I don’t like the idea of them putting a charge on for credit card twice one for the bank and one for the credit card without it being posted
Good food , good drinks ,good fun . They have karaoke on Friday nights and a DJ on Saturday
Food was delicious with a friendly welcome. However, the rest rooms aren’t very desirable.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. Our waitress was very nice but we sat there for an hour waiting on a cheese steak and chicken tenders. Once the hour mark hit we told our waitress we need to leave we have 2 kids and we can’t wait any longer. She went to get the bill and said she will try to get the food taken off our order since they put it in take out boxes for us. Got the bill and nothing was deducted. I went to the manager Deborah who was HORRIBLY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL who told me they could only take 20 percent off the bill. We didn’t even get to eat our food. I would of gave this place a second chance another time if it wasn’t for DEBORAH THE MANAGER. She was also very rude to her waiters in front of customers. I will not go back nor will I recommend. Also thank you for the crazy dry boring food in a take out box.
Just wondering why when we came in at 5:15 in the afternoon TO just get a quick sandwich and ALL the tables were reserved, 3 of which were reserved for 8:30 pm. Over 3 hours until the people were to come in THATS CRAZY..I can understand if it was for a party but we were told “they were just for regulars…sorry” NEVER HAVE I FELT SO UNCOMFTABLE AND UNWELCOME… We are also locals… Guess not “LOCAL” enough for Jeff’s
only had one bar tender it took 20 mins just to place a order at lunch time
4. Seaford Music
Address: 22876 Sussex Hwy UNIT 3, Seaford, DE 19973 , Bridgeville , Delaware , United States
Very friendly service. Always helpful with what you are looking for and helps get what you really want. Always has full clean shelves. Overall great time.
Had a good assortment of goods
Mi
Has room to improve
Called to know if they had any Tenor Saxophones and he had a bad attitude.
Bought a few pieces of gear here. All above market price, first amp fried in less than a year, PRS guitar with cosmetic damage you could only see in certain light. And a PRS amp, brand new, that developd tube rattle in 3 months, even though I paid $300 over market value. Sadly, these small businesses don’t really do anything about the products they sell. But they’re definitely more expensive.
Just wasn’t sure why it was so unorganized and messy
5. Bridgeville Emporium
Address: 105 Market St, Bridgeville, DE 19933 , Bridgeville , Delaware , United States
Love this place they have a great variety of stuff… Clean and neat.
Very clean Friendly definitely go back
Good sales
Good deals as for clothes u do better bargins at roses and wallmart
Okay place to find used clothes and other household items. I think they are overpriced and many items need to be checked for stains, tears, and other damage. Staff could be friendlier. Do not use restrooms.
Front staff were Very rude! My daughters went in to spend some of their earnings on items in this store because they love to thrift. Teen challenge is our usual go-to but they were closed. As my girls were checking out, they were frowned upon and told to their faces that they believed their money was fake. I’ve worked in the customer service field for over 25 years and their Customer service was at a all time low. I guess little black girls aren’t allowed to have money We will never shop here again.
Prices are way to high being they get free stuff donated I don’t mind paying but geez
The place is dirty, so much of the stuff is way over priced! There was a frying pan there scratched up badly with food particals and grease stains. $5.00 should have been trashed.
7. Downtown Alley llc
Address: 112 Market St, Bridgeville, DE 19933 , Bridgeville , Delaware , United States
Love to look at antiques. Reminds me of my parents and grandparents.
AWESOME!
A mixture of things!
Love this place
Nice place
Too high prices
Exspensive
This place was really nice at one time but now it seems really junky, the people that work here can’t handle the checkout counter, and they are not friendly or helpful
8. Powerhouse Music

12. T S Smith & Sons
Address: 8887 Redden Rd, Bridgeville, DE 19933 , Bridgeville , Delaware , United States
Great Products and Good Service. They are now serving Ice Cream at New Location.
First time customer. Bought Apple Cider from them at the Milford Riiverwalk. Absolutely delicious ! Also got squash, zucchini, and apples. All fresh with great taste. Give this farm a try. You won’t be disappointed. I’ll be back for more ! Yum yum. Very friendly and helpful.
Great peaches and apples and donuts.
Good. Place 2 get apples. 2nds are priced reasonably, but generally speaking they are a bit high priced. Selection is good and quality products.
Good selection but the prices are too high for locals… maybe city folk will pay those prices but I won’t
Pricey, pricey, pricey
I worked for this company for one 8 hour day. I performed the tasks I was asked to do. I was never paid for my 8 hours. I contacted their HR department and was told I would receive a check, which was never sent. I contacted them a second time and never received a response. $88 may not be much to them, but I am a senior on a fixed income and it’s a weeks worth of groceries for me. I’m very disappointed in their business practices. Kathy F.
Mr. Al and Mrs. Mary are some of the nicest people I know. They are very personable and honest people.
I have been very satisfied with any gear I’ve bought and with all of the work I’ve had frantic frets do to my gear. They will forever get my business!
Great place for guitar/string instrument enthusiasts! Thanks Al for recommending the Fender Stratacoustic. The thinner, narrow neck makes all the difference for my hands. So much easier for me to play.
Al and Michelle are both incredible people! I’ve taken numerous Basses to them in all kinds of conditions and every time he does extraordinary work!!!! As Luthiers are concerned he’s top notch! The buying experience is wonderful! You can’t go wrong with this one of a kind team.
Great music
A lot of stuff in a small space.
The owners are very nice and super accommodating. A little something for everyone
We had to get my son new strings for his guitar. We are new to the area and found this store. The lady who helped us was so nice and helpful. Will definitely be going there for our music needs
Dr. Bob is the best!!!!!!!!!
Nice friendly environment but not many books to choose from
I was promptly greeted and served when I entered the store. No lines; no waiting.
19. Music & Arts
Address: 17903 Willie Rd, Lewes, DE 19958 , Bridgeville , Delaware , United States
Very impressed with this store. Both Chris and Jim are very knowledgeable and super friendly and helpful. Jim helped me select a portable PA system for events in my clubhouse. He spent a lot of time with me explaining things as I only had a vague idea of what I really needed. When I came back to pick up my purchase Jim once again spent time with me showing how to connect things and explaining how things work. We did sound checks with Chris. I was very pleased with the equipment Jim recommended! I walked out one happy customer! I highly recommend visiting this store, and Jim and Chris!
Good customer service, knowledge.
Excellent selection of fine instruments and accessories. Guitar items and lots of gear for reed players.
Nice Store with helpful staff !
I lot of choices
I have went in this place like 20 times askin them for a specific pedal they still hwve yet to order it months later better off going online and saving money gas time and your life
20. Apple Scrapple
Address: &, S Laws St &, Delaware Ave, Bridgeville, DE 19933 , Bridgeville , Delaware , United States
I loved it and as usual I had my Scrapple sandwich and lemonade. My sister came for the first time and enjoyed it. Can’t wait until next year.
Great has food and crafts, and lots of crowds
Great time with my sweetheart!
Bridgeville comes alive the second weekend of October with their famous Apple Scrapple Festival. Get there early, parking can be difficult. Lots of people just park on the side of the road, others take advantage of paid Lots. Know that you will be walking pretty far if you arrive midday.
Something for everyone: a car show, carnival rides for kids and big kids, tons of vendors and crafts sellers. Lots of food although the lines can be ridiculously long just to try a scrapple sandwich. Other food options like pork or beef sandwiches, cheesesteaks, fries, apple dumplings , funnel cakes, beer, cider, and lots of sweet treats. There’s a 5K run, a little Miss scrapple contest, a scrapple sling, the church ladies have a sit-down lunch available on Saturday and the church men do a breakfast starting in the early morning.
Love the Apple scrapple!! Go back every year just for the Apple dumplings
First time and last
Nothing exciting!
Way too many people for the space. There was no room to check out the vendors or read food menus. We ended up just leaving because it wasn’t enjoyable.
