Eric (owner) is a awesome person. Very open and polite, has a HUGE selection of LP`s, CD`s .Sold some LP`s to him and got a fair price on them. If your looking to start a collection, he is a person to see.
Been shopping here since 1989. The new owner has kept the legacy alive and improved the store a million times over. New and Used CDs, LPs, DVDs, collectibles and so much more. Whether nostalgia legacy artist or the latest hit maker- they can all be found at this magical place! This store is the musical cure for all that ails you!
First time going. Tremendous store! In a world of super price gouging among vinyl this store was not just reasonable but downright cheap! As long as you are willing to get on the floor and crate dig there is so much to find. So far all records I got today (about 12) are in perfect condition. Live in Melbourne, but this will be an essential stop anytime I’m in St. A!!!!
Very patchouli-y! Prices are average to good. Selection limited but I walked out happy with some choice recordings.
One of the last true music store. Good prices, always have the music l am looking for. Great vibe and great little heard music playing inside
MW
Good prices and selection
I stood at the counter waiting to check out the employee was with customer the new owner keep walking by with his dog he see me standing there he doesn’t come over to cash me out I waited for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to come over lame service
Horrible customer service….. just the worst
Would not sell me a record over the phone when they had just one left…… I offered my credit card ….. just hold it for me and they said no….. first come first served….. I was at work and wasn’t going to be out for a while ….. but their customer service was to not help a dude out.
I would never spend my money at this location.
4. 5th Century Music
Address: 1395 US-1 South, St. Augustine, FL 32084 , Butler Beach , Florida , United States
They’ve always got the strings I like for mandolin and acoustic guitar, they also get a lot of cool consignment guitars, some vintage.
Great little shop.
Very helpful staff…
A nice find in this town
Over Priced!!!
Would be nice if they opened on time. Times on door say they open at 11am. Been waiting 15 min and still not open. Frustrating!
I bought a guitar from 5th Century Music. They said it was new. I found out in less than a week that it was not. The G string had been replaced and the nut had been opened to almost twice the size of the string. I took it back the second day because I couldn’t keep it tuned. They sold me a tuner. They said the one I had was no good. I kept the guitar for a week and I got tired of tuning it. I took it back to the store and asked for a refund. The salesman called the owner and asked if it was ok to give me a refund. The owner said no and the salesman pointed out a very small handmade sign that said no refunds. The sign was not there the day I bought the guitar or on the second day I went there. I left the guitar at the store with the salesman and I am now working with my credit card company.
5. Baird Guitar Studio
Address: 2 Oak Rd, St. Augustine, FL 32080 , Butler Beach , Florida , United States
So many fun things to chose from. Tee shirts, key chains, flip flops.. Nice store!
The ultimate tourist destination. You can get all those gifts for the people who stayed home.
Lots of items, something for everyone.
The greatest tourist trap there is. If you’re in town, you have to stop by for your vacation buys.
The store has a large selection. However, the aisles are small and cramped so anyone with mobility issues would probably have a hard time maneuvering through them. Make sure to double check prices at the checkout before you pay as the signs advertising their sales are misleading and they do not give refunds of any kind, including if the item is damaged or defective. When we spoke with the two employees working about our concerns, they acknowledged their false advertising but admitted that they do not care if people get upset about it.
Unprofessional. Very hillbilly.
The staff was unfriendly when I asked for help and even got sarcastic with me. When we got to the register the woman took her time stopping what she is doing and helping us, she never even acknowledged us. Unless you like horrible customer service I’d stay away.
Literally cannot hold a candle to streaming sadly. I am in a rental home, so we only had a dumb TV along with a DVD player. We rented out a movie to watch, and it was good. The good part is they always have deals. I wish they had holiday classics around the holidays, though. I really wanted to watch Home Alone.

Everything was nicely organized, items well priced and employees were friendly.
Best thrift shop in St Augustine
It’s a very nice place to buy second hand the people are friendly. And very decent appeals. They do help the abuse person
Store is well organized, but customer service was lacking.
you can find the unexpected. it’s pretty organized .staff is very courteous and helpful.
Seems a little expensive on some things
The brunette middle aged woman at the front counter was so rude! I love thrifting, i spend a lot of money doing so. I came here to purchase a $30 vintage dress that was beaded and i saw advertised. Nothing is really labeled in the “boutique”… so i asked the lady for pricing and she gave me a nasty look. Proceeded to tell me the tags all had a color coordinated dot and all the colors had different prices and that there was a sign if i just “looked”. I’m sorry, but that’s rude. It was my 1st time there and i asked a question because other than the 30.00 dress i came in for initially i wanted to purchase other dresses. I ended up not buying anything and i walked out. She shouldn’t work with people. A simple explanation without a nasty glare and tone would have been sufficient. In total i would of purchased 6 dresses had she been nicer. Oh well, I’ll spend my money where the staff isn’t rude.
Tried to drop of a nice wooden desk but the guy said couldn’t take because it had some paint specks on it. I was under the impression you take any an all furniture in good cont. not sure if he just didn’t want to deal with it or lazy. Very disappointed in the Betty griffin thrift store.
Not to smart.
Place is terrible
12. St. Jorge Tobacco

Went to this little shop and the selection was very good. Nice higher end Padron and Ashton as well as others. If you need a snappy leather chairs and wood paneled shop that charges more go elsewhere. But if you want a super friendly family owned little shop that’s been there for years and the owner Ticker is warm and welcoming then this is your place. Thanks for accommodating me and I will be back. Blessings to you Ticker!
This is my go to place in Saint Augustine for super premium cigars at a more than fair price. Never overblown prices on OpusX, Padron Anniversario, LFD hard to find sticks. He also has many other high-end cigars. All at a fair and reasonable prices. Smoking one as I type this review!
Nice, old little cigar shop. Dont try to get RYO cigs or tobbaco just to save a trip
Nice place but a little pricy. But we are from out of town and they are the only place we could find that carried my brand. Thank you
Great cigar collection
Oh please just as I expected. I bought a cigar from this run down place, and the whole leaf came apart. ABC liqous takes care of their cigars better as he talked about their humidor. And they are cheaper. Sure he has a weird selection. They dont take of them.
The employees here who have been in there for awhile are amazing. They go above and beyond to help you and always have a genuine smile on their faces.
Handy
Everything is a buck! What’s there not to like?
Store has anything you want
Get my herpes medicine
Good selection of products, they had everything I needed at a great price!
Always stock in the isles. Can’t get to what I need.
I went in today to use the restroom. Afterwards i went and looked around then got accused of stealing when a customer saw me put the item back. When I went to return the restroom key the lady with blue hair told me to never come back. I for one was not stealing, for 2 there’s nothing wrong with looking at a item and changing your mind on buying it so you actually put it back where it belonged (instead of somewhere else in the store). For 3 I’ve never felt so humiliated in a store. Guess I won’t be using the restroom there anymore.
Great pastries, subtle flavors. A little expensive, but great quality!
Delicious sandwiches and crepes
generally, a very good, pleasant place with great pasteries. atmosphere is good (a little on the noisy side when it is busy), food is great.
a couple of reasons why i did not give five stars:
– service: slow. could be better organized. had more than enough time to watch the workflow.. positive: with a few changes in the organization the wait time could be significantly reduced..
– croissant is good, not great. for a us- croissant it is decent. being a french bakery measured by standards applied to a boulangerie.. it is not that great.
– baguette: ditto shape is a baguette, but the taste and experience: not really a baguette. but still, it is a tasty bread. and i would buy it again. i just try not to think that i am buying a baguette (change my expectations and I am happy…)
– service: you get a taste of french service and attitude: e.g. when asking something they share the message in a subtle way that you should have known… it’s clear that working is a burdon..
well, again, you get the full french experience in some aspects, and that’s what we are coming for…
(i will come back, as a European I am used to that – and after all: the food is good).
Great food. Service was not too friendly the day I was there, but the egg croissant was great and the pastries in the cases are beautiful.
Breakfast crepe is pretty good and fulfilling. Kids loved sweet crepes
My friends and I came in with a service dog, the owner rushed over, pointed to the door and said “get out”. We explained it was a service animal and he insisted we can eat in the parking lot. Well, at least we can say it was authentic French service
Yes, we staying an a 1 hour, but we waiting the food 50 min. And I can’t say it was delicious. Everything are overpriced
2nd time there with out of town family, 1st time, the service incredibly slow or non existent. 2nd time with family, waited 10 min at counter just to be told cash only. I am a local with a french wife who loves a good pastry and coffee but we will not be going back and we will not be referring you to others. FYI, the date and time of service(non) 2/716 @ 10:50 am
18. Romano’s On The Beach
Address: 4255 A1A S, St. Augustine, FL 32080 , Butler Beach , Florida , United States
This place blows every pizza place I have ever been to on the east coast out of the water. The food is so beyond delicious, the wait time is not bad at all and even if it was I would wait an hour for this food it is that good!!! I highly recommend you stop here if you are in the area We had the philly cheese steak, garlic cheese bread, Greek salad, and the spicey island baha pizza and it was devoured!!! Thanks guys we will definitely be back next time we are down visiting
Was down in Jacksonville for a wedding, my sisters and I decided to go to St. Augustine for the day. We tried many restaurants but the wait was 45+ so we found Romano’s and decided to eat here. Best decision ever! The food was delicious, pizzas were the perfect size, excellent prices, I want to go back. Next time I’m in Jacksonville I will absolutely visit
Best pizza on the Beach.
A true beach dive pizza joint. Friendly staff, a few tables, but mostly take out traffic in and out constantly. The food was very good.
Good pizza!
Pretty ordinary.
The delivery time was awful, over an hour. And the food was cold when we got it. Order from somewhere else.
found black hairs in my pizza and the salad wasn’t fresh, pizza isn’t fresh
Ready to give it 5 stars UNTIL my child bit into a bandaid that had been baked in the pizza dough. The level of apology was not quite to my liking.
19. La Taza Coffee & More
Address: 3915 A1A S #103, St. Augustine, FL 32080 , Butler Beach , Florida , United States
I love this lunch spot! The soup of the day is always freshly made and absolutely delicious. The salad with goat cheese and dates comes with an awesome homemade dressing that brings out all the flavors. A caprese half sandwich and soup or salad is my go-to fave lunch here.
A fantastic caprese that brings me back to the Italian Amalfi Coast; it was large enough for three to enjoy! A double shot americano sealed the deal.
First time there and I have to say that the experience alone is worth the trip to this location. However the food was exceptionally good. I’ll be back for sure.
Yumm, Not your average.
Clean, nice upscale spot to go for a quick lunch. Caprese sandwich was fresh, the espresso was just what i needed and the dulce de leche cheesecake was by far my favorite
An undiscovered gem in St. Augustine Beach. Good quality hot beverages expertly served. The menu is small, but the few items we tried were excellent. I will definitely return for the homemade tamales, my favorite.
Food was tasty
No tienen desayunos
Very disappointed
Closed the busy weekend
I’m very sorry
20. St. Augustine Music Lessons
Address: 5496 A1A S, St. Augustine, FL 32080 , Butler Beach , Florida , United States
I’ve only been taking lessons with David for a couple weeks now, but he’s made learning to play the guitar so much more fun than just watching online videos. He clearly has a tremendous grasp of not only playing the guitar but of music theory and the ability to share those traits. He’s also very encouraging and supportive with positive feedback which helps to lessen a lot of the frustrations associated with learning to play a new instrument. Great teacher!
One of the kindest and most accomplished people I’ve know. Highly recommended.
David is a wonderful instructor and really gives the extra effort to make sure you get the most out of your experience! Highly recommend for aspiring musicians and professionals alike!
