Super good prices and excellent customer service!!
Perfect buying experience. Rod responded personally to emails very quickly, even in the evening and on the weekend, and was very helpful. The website notified me when the pedal I wanted was in stock, and so did Rod personally. And once I purchased it, he shipped it on the same day, and it arrived in perfect condition. It was a perfect shopping experience. I will definitely be back. Thank you!
Great company to deal with. Order was processed and shipped promptly with great communication. Would definitely recommend purchasing Cool Guitar Shop.

Wedunit Band enjoyed stopping in on our way back from UNG, Dalonega. Had the hard tension nylon guitar strings that we have been looking for! BIG difference on the Godin guitar!
Very cool place. Will coming back again and again to see what’s new!
Great little shop with friendly service and the prices are great compared to other shops around Canton.
Great sound equipment at reasonable prices compared to the big box music stores. The gentleman, who I assumed was the owner, was very knowledgeable about everything musical.
As a store, very, very little selection of amplifiers or guitars. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and not at all uptight about customers touching and trying out the gear they do have on hand. May be better as a place for repairs and maintenance, but cannot attest to that.
Knowledgeable, friendly owner. Cozy shop and nice environment. Now, if I could just magically learn how to play…..I’d give it one more star….
I needed a setup for my Gibson Les Paul and decided to give Jaws a shot because of their overwhelmingly positive reviews. I dropped of my guitar and told the luthier that I was experiencing a lot of fret buzz. The turn around time was very quick and I was able to pick it up the next day. I was told that there would still be some buzz based on my attack, which seemed like a cop out. I asked if there were any high frets and I was assured that there were none. I took the guitar home and played it to find that I was still experiencing buzzing even when strummed lightly. I pulled out the fret rocker to find that several of my frets were high despite what the shop told me. Overall, this was a waste of time and money and I’m very disappointed with the level of service.
After looking at 6 music stores to find someone that could teach lap steel guitar. I found this gem of a store. The people there are great. They enjoy what they do. Always something new in the store to shop for
Donleys music is Amazing! Donleys music is a very friendly and welcoming place. Dave (owner of Donelys Music) is very polite and kind to anyone that walks into his shop. They have a great variety of electric guitars and acoustic guitars. Donelys music gives the best service! You wont find a better place than Donleys Music. I guarantee it!
I have been taking drum lessons here for a few months it’s an amazing place! The owner Dave is an amazing person!
Very friendly staff and they will buy your instruments at a fair price.
They were very nice.
Donley’s , always, customer service above par but their repair tech did not mirror Donley’s reputation AT ALL. MY 9YR old niece offered to try a repair. I will probably get the same visual “quality” result BUT WOULD SAVE $100.
Took them my guitar to fix. Got it back and it still wasn’t fixed and they had lost my bridge pins and replaced them with someone else’s that were damaged and a different color. Had to take it somewhere else to get it repaired correctly
Horrible, shady business practices! I got home with a mandolin I bought and noticed a pickguard had been attached and removed, leaving small holes in the neck and body of the instrument. I was told over the phone there was hardly a scratch and the instrument was in near mint condition. They flat-out lied. This depreciates the value of the mandolin almost completely. They knew this was the case, and just plain deceived me. Sure, I should have inspected it before I left, but I don’t expect people dealing with musical instruments to be shady the way they are. I’m extremely disappointed and appalled that people in the music industry act like this when so many good people are involved with music. why can people not just treat others how they want to be treated?
I tried to buy ernie ball regular slinkys and they put ernie ball super slinkys in my bag while I wasn’t paying attention. Poor selection of accessorys.
Alex is an AMAZING Teacher. He is patient yet is able to encourage students to want to continually improve. He has taught our daughter so much. We are very grateful for his teaching ability. I highly recommend Alex if you want to learn (or have your child learn) how to play the piano. (A dying art form.)
I have taken music lessons from Alex and have become a very good piano player. I learned at a very easy pace but through his guidance and lots of practice, I have had great recitals. He is known by many of his students as being the best of the best. Alex aka Mr. C is a professional songwriter. I have purchased a couple of his original CD’s on his website:

Address: 1810 Cumming Hwy Ste 600, Canton, GA 30115 , Cherokee County , Georgia , United States
Kevin was awesome. Told us everything we wanted to know about phones and TVs. Such a difference from most places where the salespeople are unhelpful or knowledgeable. Great experience!
Great store, helpful employees.
Had alot of cool surprisingly cheap games and gear.
Curbside pickup is awesome. Just order online. Park in designated parking spaces. Reply to Email letting store know which spot you are in. Boom! They bring stuff to you.
They usually have good prices, but being that it is holiday season, some items are limited in inventory. Some stores have limited stock, so check online to limit the possibility of being disappointed. Major brands are priced favorably.
I won’t tell you
Not greeted upon entry. Consistently understaffed and poorly merchandised. No energy or excitement in a store full of today’s hottest technology. Only 4 employees covering the entire sales floor, 1 cashier and 1 at customer service counter. Items are rarely replenished or downstocked when main facing is depleted. Employees are not engaging and simply have a clerk mentality vs. introduction, asking qualifying questions and finding a solution to the customers needs. Store has many ‘weeds’; items scattered about the store, laying on deck plates, that belong in other departments. Overall, not a pleasurable experience for the customer. I left and went to Target which is located in the same plaza.
I’d give them a 0 if I could refusing to exchange my defective device I just purchased on 7/7 being 3 days old and defective they told me it was At&t was blocking the exchange but the rep kept saying your not eligible for an upgrade mind you I was returning/exchanging a 14 day replacement under buyers remorse!!!
Told me to come back when I spoke with At&t and At&t said they’d never block a return under BRE…
Both my children have taken instrument and vocal lessons with Ponier Music. they are great to work with and really care for the kids. My daughter has gone from being interested in singing to now playing piano, ukulele, and singing and is receiving interest from agents and casting directors.
Friendly local service.
Assisted daughter in her fist band instrument- Saxaphone…
Lessons coming soon 🙂
I needed a ukulele for a birthday present so I stopped in to see what they had. There was a good selection and they guided me to a beginner, but not novice option. It was a friendly and smooth experience. Told a friend about the gift and she said she always wanted to learn it too. I went back to the store bought another ukulele for my friend for Christmas! Same great service the second time as well. Thanks for all your help.
We acquired an electric guitar and amp from a neighbor and David got us up and running for almost nothing in less than 12 hours. Great customer service! Thank you.
I had a bad experience getting my guitar setup and felt like I had been scammed. I was immediately contacted and offered complete compensation by the owner herself. Wonderful customer service. When I went in to get my compensation I also made a new friend. Thanks so much, Ponier!
We had our two kids take guitar lessons for over a year. We made our kids attend to stimulate their overall learning capability , Since one of us travels for a living we at times canceled a session ( in advance ) and always paid fully for canceled lessons , no questions asked.
Our kids are straight A students, justifying for us to pay for lessons “wasted “ as no show.
However we decided to end guitar lessons and asked the owner to discontinue charging us over and over again. The manager / owner having bad organization and people skills ignored and intimidated my wife after we finally filed a claim with our credit card company.
Further more he stated that he would only give us OUR money if we delete a bad review. WE DID NOT WRITE A BAD REVIEW AT THAT TIME.
I inquired and asked for a call back on multiple more occasions but no response.
Our music instructor was great but left him for a probable reason. So if you are a common sense kind of a person do not expect much in return in that area. 200 dollars “taken”.
A few decent music teachers but the management needs improvement.
The owner charged me for items I didn’t purchase and kept my credit card on file without my permission. She said they refunded me but I never received a refund. I had to call my bank to have the charges reversed.
Tyler is the man! Always very helpful and willing to go the extra mile!
Cailey and Haley helped me today in your Woodstock store inside Walmart! They were beyond incredible! They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful! Both went above and beyond to help me and my son with his new music venture into percussion! They collected the items I needed (because I was clueless) and called surrounding stores to locate the items they didn’t have. They compiled a list of items with store nearby that had them in stock! You have two valuable assets there and they both deserve a raise!!!
I’ve been here a few times, and they have a big hiring problem. They are stealing the best people from all the other jobs. Either that or the musical kids are just the best… Either way, this place is truly a diamond in the rough if you know what I mean.
Good service and very knowledgeable
They helped purchase the wrong size violin for my daughter the first time in person. Then when I ordered a 2nd one on the website they cancelled my order without even letting me know. When I called them I was told there was nothing that could be done.
M&A is receiving 2 stars because of their poor customer service center. The brick and mortar shops are great – no issues. They have a great selection of instruments, knowledge, and aim to serve the customer. The customer center in Frederick, MD is abysmal to say the least. I experienced a series of billing issues related to a credit card on file, and I was not contacted by M&A until I received a notice from a debt collector regarding a debt consisting of 3 months of payments. The customer service representative took my credit card information over the phone and processed the payment and enrolled me in AutoPay. Sounds like my problem was resolved, right? No, I had provided my credit information two months prior and enrolled in AutoPay two months prior, thus my groundhog’s day experience pushed me over the edge.
I had billing / accounting problems with M&A on two separate instrument rentals. Their rent to own contract is very confusing, not sure why my children’s school recommended M&A. To cap off the accounting issue, M&A does not provide balance or payoff information for your rental. I find it useful to know my rental balance and early payoff balance each month. It helps me make good financial decisions, but I do not believe M&A wants you (the customer) to make financial decisions that negatively affect their bottom line.
I’m curious if M&A will respond to this review. Usually companies with a strong customer service culture do.
Will not use them again. We had a signed contract for a rental and after several months, they realized that they made a mistake on the pricing. They did not honor their agreement and changed the terms and we had to pay higher price. Signed agreements mean nothing to them.
