I liked this music store and Jeff was helpful. Everyone seemed content at the very least, so that was nice. They have an abundance of different instruments and their prices are reasonable. I would recommend this store to others in the area. The store was well kept as well, unlike Guitar Center.

Wish they had shopping carts! Great help. I have been buying harmonicas. But you only get the case and a parts breakdown.. No other info. on type, key, notes ,care instructions. When I buy, I like all the little extras..not just a case and instrument. I’ll probably go online next time for harmonicas. But everything else here seems terrific! They also have lessons!!!

Wasn’t opened

I was looking for advice on a item and maybe I wasn’t clear enough. But I felt rushed to make my decision.

On payments to buy a clarinet for my daughter for band in November 2017 I received a new card which my payments were linked to. I have spoke with someone in 4 separate occasions and have them updated card information. However, they failed to process the payment and not that it didn’t go through because the money is there the never submitted it. So today I April 11th, 2018 I get a notice for unpaid balance of $133 since December 2017. The letter is dated March 29th and postdated April 6th. Stating to clear balance by April 9th or they’ll come to my home, go to my child’s school, or sue me for three hundred some odd dollars plus Court cost. I work 12 hour night shifts between two very demanding patient populated hospital jobs and have reached out to clear this more than enough times for them to clear this. I have no idea why they can’t or don’t submit payment as I give them the card information. Very poor company OH AND DON’T CALL WHEN THEIR CLOSED BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO VOICEMAIL SYSTEM it’s 2018 SERIOUSLY. The most ridiculous company I’ve done business with. Can’t wait to be done with them.

This man knows a TON about guitars from Gibson to Fender to Gretsch to PRS, he is your guy and has knowledge about guitar appraisals. If I were to sell my guitar, this would be my guy!

Goldrush bought my Dad’s guitar collection. An old Fender, Gibson and some acoustic guitars. Didn’t have to take them all over to different guitar stores. He came to the house and we made a deal right on the spot. Hassle free. Thank you Al!

Was very pleased to know that Gold Rush guitars offered a mobile appraisal and guitar buying service. When I called and spoke to Al, he was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to give me details on a few guitars I had. I’m glad that they’ll be able to find new homes!

So just want to say Carl is a master on what he does, I had a gibson j-160 that needed a lot of work he repair some cracks on the guitar, some loose braces made a new bone, adjusted the guitar and a whole bunch of other stuff at a really affordable price, could not be happier with his service so if you have any instrument specially vintage that needs service I would recommend him. The best around here

Carl was really great to work with! He responded within minutes of me sending a quote request and accepted my bass as a drop off the same day. I felt it was left in great hands and it was evidently so when I came back to pick it up. I highly recommend working with him on any guitar needs someone has. Not to mention he has great taste in music!

Been here a few months and so far, so good. Super quick response times for any questions we’ve had, and anytime there’s been any sort of hiccup or problem, they’ve been on it right away. Rooms are not fully soundproof but they let you pretty much have free reign over customizing your space, so you can easily add more soundproofing. A/c and heat both work great, so the studios are always comfortable. Lots of outdoor lighting and cameras so you feel pretty safe there, no matter what time it is. The keyless locking system is great also. Overall, good sized and solid studio space, and the price can’t be beat.

NOT GONNA LIE: I was sketch AF when I 1st came ; mainly cause I was communicating via text. I came through twice to check out the property. But, I’m EXTREMELY happy w/ my office & how everything turned out.

Very supportive AND responsive whenever there is a question, problem or concern. Neighborhood is VERY quiet & u DEFINITELY get work done! I’m definitely gonna be here for a while!

We absolutely love Lockout Studios! The managers are super responsive to any asks we have. The prices are very fair. Everyone we’ve met around the studios has been very kind and the musician camaraderie is definitely there. It’s clean, security is good, can’t say enough about how awesome this place is.

Without a doubt I can say all the other reviews are lies because I’ve already rented from them the studios are not complete they’re not a full studio if you pay attention to your walls from top to bottom you’ll notice a gap either showing the outside or being able to hear to the other side because the Gap at the top while the units are decently priced some are very small while others are decent size I will admit the pricing was not necessarily fair but it was not bad either, as the old saying goes you get what you pay for there’s absolutely zero padding in between the walls so you can literally hear just about everything when I rented from them they had people living in the studios which is expressly forbidden and their contract, as well as the fact that I personally had experiences with hearing individual constantly daily beat his girlfriend and or wife as they are living in that unit daily, while I do have to give credit to the staff for being rather responsive there was never a time that I text and they did not get back to me within less than an hour however I cannot give this place more than two stars they were very lackluster and making sure that the trash and the area for the trash was taken care of even after myself and several other tenants offered to properly in case the garbage area as to make sure that garbage was properly being thrown away and not left on the trash 4 weeks at a time until they decided to pay for the garbage to come as well as they do not keep the maintenance on their bathrooms the bathrooms are disgusting I personally watched their so-called maintenance man and or their in house fix it guy dump a trash can without taking out the bag knowing full well that there was something wet and rotten in the bag simply based on the smell and instead he simply dumped out the trash and left the wet smelly bag inside the trash can and put it back in the bathroom and closes the door as if he didn’t know the smell would get trapped in the bathroom I will admit again the staff is responsive as well as courteous with the exception of one particular agent that works there by the name of Jennifer, and I would have to say overall other than the homeless people that gather around and hang out and sleep in the hallways by the bathroom my major issue with them would be if I am paying rent I’m not paying you to come look and check inside of my unit on a monthly basis however it is their property and they can set the rules but overall I’m definitely not a fan of paying rent to have my unit inspected on a monthly basis I pay my rent so that I can do what I please with inside of the guidelines that are set forth I don’t need to be monitored and or have people checking inside of my unit on a monthly basis however that is because they know that they had individuals living in certain units so they would have to go and check all of the units to make sure no one else was personally I feel as though that was a very big disrespect. Stay with me for a second and just imagine as an artist engineer or producer being in the studio in the middle of a studio session and on the door there’s a knock very hard as if the police are at your door and then the shout that screams management and then they come barging in without you even saying come in or give me a second to open the door they simply open the door and again if you’re in the process of recording or doing music that is very disruptive to the flow so I understand and I know full well that these individuals that are leaving good comments are lying simply because I was there the same time a lot of these people were there

Amazing shop, they do top-tier repair work, and somehow they get it done faster and cheaper than anyone else!

I’ll return for help with an acoustic/electric ukulele that is rattling. I purchased new and it wasn’t rattling in the store. Thinking about changing the strings too. Was told it is a common problem – but I’m sad about it.

At least I feel okay returning for help. Just nervous about it all for being an anxious person.

Anyway – some tips?
double check ur “policy” preferences.
Come back a several times to try out instruments on different days.

Solid store with mostly everything ya need. Great service, lots of rad used stuff to choose from for great prices. Would like to see more of a drum stick selection, I did find some store made sticks they call Goodwoods, the ol man who owned the store used to make em’. Worth stopping in for sure, stop going to Guitarcenter, service and gear is half-assed there.

I’ve enjoyed each visit and was assisted with my needs with courtesy and professional experienced staff.

This is our neighborhood used and new instrument store. Same for amplifiers. Come here for strings and electronic tuners. They facilitate all kinds of music instructions and sell printed materials. Last time we went in I waited for my sons on the couch as they got lost on keyboard and other toys.

This accomplished bagpiper played at my mother’s graveside service on Friday. We can not say enough about his professionalism and kindness. His ability to play such soulful music at our most sorrowful time was amazing. My mother had requested a piper play at her service, and I was charged with finding one. Having looked on the internet and reviewed pipers in the area, I decided to call Raphael Pazo. I knew at once he was our piper. He is the most warm and kind gentleman, knowledgeable and accomplished. He was acutely aware of his times to play and when no specific songs were requested, he played songs that were very heartfelt. When the service was over, while talking with him, he mentioned he had been feeling a little under the weather, that did not stop him, he did not cancel at the last minute, he showed up! I am forever grateful. In the future, when we talk about mom’s service, we will remember Raphael Pazo.

Raphael was very thorough and a true professional. Not only was he very easy to coordinate with, but he creatively added a few selections that greatly improved the presentation of our special event. His knowledge of instrument and sound was significant to the venue, enhancing everyone’s experience. I would have no problems hiring Raphael again or referring him to anyone I know who is planning a special event!

Fantastic job playing for my father’s 100th birthday party for 70 friends and family. Everyone enjoyed the music and some sang along. Very professional. Pat and Pam.

Dr. Raphael Pazo performed with his Bagpipes for our Shamrock Festival before our banquet as well as during it. His performance was exceptionally nice. We will be inviting him back to our venue again next year!

I always swing by here to pick up some fresh fishing worms and snacks for the day before headed out to the lake. Because of the great service I receive every time I stop in its why I’m a repeat customer.

Great glow bowl at night good time for a faimly outing for kids of all ages and all sorts of events to birthdays to gril or guy in night on the town aslo has a private section off full bar for the 21ans and up… So what are you waiting for there is a lane with your name on it..

Rude

Joey was very professional and educated me on how to care for my piano in the future. He also drove a good distance to help me out and was very friendly and easy to work with!

Showed up on time and was extremely detailed with his work. I had no idea that these things were so complicated and involved. Dude was mashing the classics too while he worked filling the house with musical awesome.

Joey was very helpful, honest and professional. He worked with me and was patient with all my questions.

Surprised the store wasn’t crowded this trip. Was well stocked and clean.

I always get over charged for things always what’s up with that! And the taxes on it was so crazy ! Anyway I’m giving this place a big thumbs down because of the unprofessional staff that doesn’t know how to utilize the equipment that it takes to make this company run efficiently! ….. just stating!

Trash place and horrible customer service

This is a fun little hole in the wall music store right in downtown Galt on the old Lincoln hiway, they have someone who can adjust guitars and make simple repairs on audio devices. Also has some good teachers for piano, (bass)guitar, ukelele, cello, violin, drums and percussion. A great little gem in Galt!

They got basic items like sticks and instruments but no hardware items, you’re better off ordering them online if you need that weird lug which makes me cry

I wouldn’t give it any stars at all. Horrible customer service! I went to take my daughter there for lessons and the woman there was extremely rude. Do not take your kids there.
