A very nice place to shop! The refrigerated section needs a little love though. I went for milk and changed my mind after I saw the condition of it all
Good quality service
Fast check out
Great prices as well service
Just be careful pulling out into traffic
All I can say is now I know why this store has received all these negative reviews!
I visited this store on Deerfoot Parkway in Trussville, AL on 7/11/23 between 3:30 & 4pm. The manager was EXTRA NASTY! She said that we customers were stupid for always choosing the wrong register for self check out. She said either we can’t read or we are just plain stupid. These comments were made in the presence of everyone in the store. Come on, Dollar General…get a RESPECTFUL MANAGER because as of that moment, I decided that I will NEVER come back!!!!
Stores are junkie
I still shop there for convenience but it is hard because it is very messy and out side is trashy, literally. Corporate or management or whoever, should make arrangements for enough employees to be there at least twice a week to do cleanup and garbage duty and clean the parking lot. One person cannot do everything.
2. Guitar Pro’s LLC
Address: 224 Main St, Trussville, AL 35173 , Clay , Alabama , United States
My daughter was the one who found this place with my aunt. They offer lessons for affordable prices, one less for $25 and four for $80. My daughter has been doing lessons for three months now. The atmosphere when you walk into the shop is welcoming and laid back, and they let you feel like you are family. I highly recommend coming here and being apart of it.
Went to guitar pro’s and had a set up done on my acoustic. I was well pleased with my guitar. This place has a great selection of guitars, amps and accessories. And most of all these folks were friendly and helpful. The prices were great too.I really enjoyed meeting these folks. I’ll be sure to go back when I need something.THANKS GUITAR PRO’S#
Great service, great people, great gear. What more could you ask for.!
Have a decent variety of all different kinds of cords and instruments and the guitars rule great prices too. And the lady in there is always super sweet
Great people and fair prices. Support your local music store!
Nice people. Nice selection of guitars and gear. They have a lot of strings to choose from.
I bought a guitar for $2,875 from this shop online and they listed it as mint condition. I had to take it to a local luthier to have the frets polished because they were so dirty the guitar was unplayable. The shop refused to even split the cost ($50), wow! Incredible.
I will never set foot in this place again. Not that they will care. Thought I would give it another chance after several years. Nothing has changed so now I know for sure.
WAS our trusted source for guitars and gear.
Took in a Seagull acoustic to have the battery and strings replaced at the end of December 2020(only having someone else do it because of the value of the guitar).
The battery went dead MUCH faster than normal (usually takes 6 months). We are very aware that leavi g guitars plugged in drai s the battery. That was NOT the case here. We took it out and found they had installed a promotional Progressive Insurance smoke detector battery in it. Instead of what we are used to getting, Energizer or Duracell. I called and was told that we should have told them we wanted a better battery. It cost us more than $30 for the strings and a battery replacement. No offer to replace it. The lady said they just use whatever is “handy”. I don’t pay for what’s handy. So much for being Pro’s. If the lady had simply apologized, that would have been the end of it. I wasn’t looking for anything other than to let them know that a substandard battery had been installed. When we brought it in initially, we asked for the strings to be changed and the battery replaced. No one told us at that time that we weren’t being charged for the battery, just that what we asked for was $30, if I had been advised of that I would have either asked for a better battery or brought my own. I hung up when her tone told me how disgusted she was that I called with a problem. As for my other reviews of other businesses you mentioned, I review honestly and fairly. If you notice, I have many very positive reviews of several companies in the area. I managed customer service depts with 4 Fortune 500 Companies in my career. Again, I wasn’t asking for anything except courtesy, which was unfortunately lacking. The lady I spoke with had a “how dare you complain” kind of attitude. (modified for clarity based on the reply from the company)
I have been doing business with Mike a long time and my dad before me. Excellent guy!!
Mike is an excellent music teacher. He is an educated instructor with a music degree from Samford. Mike is a very talented musician with over four decades of helping students reach their full potential on their chosen instrument. Try Mikey, you’ll like him!
I’ve used arts throughout school and they are great!
I’ve been to every music shop in the area (that I know of) Guitar Center, Bailey Brothers, Homewood Musical Instrument Co, Highland Music, etc. I’ll be honest, unfortunately it’s a pretty lackluster experience no matter where you go around here. I wish it wasn’t the case, but it’s true. Different reasons why with different stores, but I will say the one time I went into Art’s Music Shop, it was a great experience. No issues at all, the staff was polite, and the store inventory was pretty decent. Their guitar tech is also great. Trust me, you can do a lot worse than Art’s. 🙂
I raised two musicians all the way through college with instruments, service and repairs from Art’s. Absolutely the best!
Family run business that is an honest broker and sales staff, with excellent repair technicians. Compare them on new and used instruments, and repair cost; you will quickly use one of their locations for your music needs.
It’s nice that stores like Art’s are still around.
Very helpful but the instruments are pretty expensive
Wonderful customer service
Was in there for 20 minutes with my kid and wasn’t even acknowledged. Tried to get their attention but employees were in a rather long discussion with each other. We are now at Bailey Brothers which is a block away so we can purchase a bass guitar for my son. Customer service actually exists at Bailey Brothers. It does not at Art’s. Such a disappointment. We had heard good things about them.
No help prices to high
This place is a joke. I called and asked about a mellophone and was told that they had several from me to choose from. I get there and they had one that was new and one from the 70’s they tried sell me. I will stay with Bailey Brothers.
Perfect store .
Excellent customer Service ; clean environment and the best background music . Always gone come back
Quick place to stop and get gas
it’s a place to get gas at but otherwise it’s just alright
If I could leave a zero star I would. The girl behind the counter could not help when the car wash took my money and completely stopped as soon as I drove in. If it’s broken, that’s fine. Understandable. Something needs to be posted saying that however. She was absolutely no help when she said “I don’t do car wash” “you come back when manager is here” and refused to give me her name even after I explained it was to simply say so and so told me to come back and talk to you since she had nothing to do with the car wash. Absolute worst customer service. I give them the benefit of the doubt from previous bad experiences, but they are absolutely ridiculous as a business.
The girl at the counter is never friendly and looks at you like you aren’t worthy of shopping with them. One time she completely ignored me. NEVER COMING BACK IN THERE AGAIN!
