Always there for our dj equipment needs love that place
Great
Beautiful inventory.
Have gone here many times over the years passing through. The staff is always friendly.
Great selection on guitars customer service could be better
Nice people! Big store with lots of options!!
Not satisfied at all they had my bass for a whole month to replace two pickups
I called for a possible internship opportunity for my school summer project since I plan on pursuing a career in music education. I asked to speak with the store manager and the employee said he was not in at the moment. Usually I am asked for my information after this to give to the store manager but he didn’t ask so as anyone else I offered if he could give my information to him. The employee then hung up on me in my face. I believe his name was John but I did not appreciate this experience at all.
My friend and I were treated like we had the plague on our 10/1/22 visit. I made the mistake of actually playing one of their guitars and the owner of the store snatched it from my hands and instructed his employee to “wipe it down”. I promise that you will NEVER see me in there again. You might actually sell something if you had reasonable prices. This is exactly why people buy their gear on-line. Worst shopping experience I ever had. I promise we will bad mouth your shop to every single musician we know.
3. Music & Arts
Address: 4380 Summit Bridge Rd Suite 7, Middletown, DE 19709 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
My son just started piano lessons with Robert Vietri (Mr.Bobby) and he has nothing but great things to say about him. He definitely looks forward to his lessons each week!
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, can be busy at times.
I love this shop and they have excellent customer service..
This store is probably better suited for school aged musicians. A majority of their business is with students and they seem to provide great services. In terms of buying a guitar, there is not a great guitar selection, nor do the employees seem too interested in selling guitars. If you are a guitarist or a starting guitarist I would seek advice or expertise else-ware. This store seems more interested in selling what they already have rather than making sure the guitar is the right choice for the person. Which granted is most stores, but I have heard of them suggesting right handed guitars for lefties regardless of which position is the most comfortable to play. This school of thought is antiquated and a red flag in my opinion.
Does not have guitar nuts..
Clean store and the store associate very helpful
Horrible customer service. Don’t expect a call back cause u will never get it accept from Mike, best one in there. Ended up dealing with the Camden store where they are fantastic, helpful and never made me feel like I was a problem while trying to make the right decision buying an instrument.
Horrible store. Worst customer service and prices in the music business. This place reminds me of Accent Music….terrible. Selection is poor and prices are for the rich. I will NEVER go back into this store again 🙁
BnB Music is worth the drive. I will be commuting for my music needs from now on.
If I can give ZERO stars I will without any hesitation. They have the worst staff with major attitude issues. You walk in as a customer and ask them something, they get irritated for “doing their job”. Guess all they want to do is listen to their iphone and spend free time there !! There is a guy by name “Josh” – he is among the worst ! The second is his manger I guess, the one with the long hair. I don’t want to even remember his name. When my daughter’s flute was repaired and sent here (5 visits and yet they don’t have a clue what’s going on), these guys acted as if Kirkwood store is responsibile and was extremely disresepctful. Throwing the client files on the table and one guy almost approaching me (Josh) with an attitude to confront. The other guy with the long hair started yelling and pointing fingers. My daughter and I exited with embarassment. This is what we get for being a customer for 5 + years. Kevin from Kirkwood store on the other hand is very gentle, helpful and completely customer oriented. Middletown store – no wonder has only few customers or students walking in even before COVID. The staffs there definitely need customer service training and importantly emotional intelligence. A bunch of arrogant inexperienced men showing their anger and frustration in life on customers ! Pathetic & Horrible !! Stay away from this store if you want a good customer experience overall.
4. CKuz Guitars

Great guy, totally transparent and helpful. Fair prices and I will definitely will be using CKuz for my future guitar needs.
Contacted Chuck about a wiring issue with my Suhr electric guitar and he was able to inspect and fix the guitar on the same day while I waited. Very knowledgable, qualified and a great guy. Highly recommended.
I took my martin acoustic to chuck to have him set the string height. chuck is a great guy and really is professional. he did my work in a timely manner and fair price. he now has a new customer for all my guitar needs.

6. N&E LPs and CDs
Address: 301 W Loockerman St, Dover, DE 19904 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
Very nice record store! Neil was very informative and kind, quite interesting to talk to. There’s a variety of music, on a variety of formats. They had just what I was looking for, too! I’m very happy with my purchase. Rocking out to In The Air Tonight!
Cool place. Just opened. It’s nice to see a locally owned record store on Lookerman! Neil and Eric have done cool records with fair prices for vinyl. I look forward to seeing the selections over the upcoming weeks and months.
7. Music & Arts
Address: 3443 S Dupont Hwy, Camden Wyoming, DE 19934 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
Thanks to Scott and the staff for helping me find the the right guitar for a more than fair price.
Visiting the Music & Arts store for the second time was yet another great experience. Mr. Scott and the team there were not only very patient and extremely helpful but they made our son Isaiah feel completely at ease with the Trombone that we actually purchased for him which is 10 times better than the one we were renting for him…his words! We are very excited to see where this music journey takes him. Thank you Music & Arts Store Camden Wyoming…the best experience hands down!
Mat was a great guy that works for you.Spent 4,500 this year already.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I find their prices a little higher than elsewhere, but their location is convenient, and sometimes it’s just easier going into a store rather than dealing with another music store on the phone.
Went to purchase my 8 year old daughter piano lessons back in December and was told I needed to purchase a piano or she wouldn’t succeed in lessons. I explained she wasn’t even clear if this is something she wanted to peruse but just wanted to try it. The cashier wasn’t helpful and I went out hopeless. Fast forward to a little over 2 months and we found an excellent instructor who guided us toward a keyboard to practice and she absolutely loves it. A piano purchase is probably in the near future but I won’t be returning to this shop. Just to think, this visit to the store could of altered my daughters life had I gave up.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s sad that the schools direct you to such a in trustful company. Please take advice and stay away from this place.
Signing up for lessons with this company is one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made. Their billing practices are extremely criminal. They continue to charge you after you have canceled services with them. They also bill you for holidays when their business was closed and you received no services. The representatives in the store and on the customer service line are no help with billing as they know nothing. You are billed money on a different date each month but never receive a statement for what you are being charged for. This company seems to be money hungry and filled with thieves. I would never recommend anyone doing business or taking lessons from this crooked company.
8. Accent Music Inc
Address: 5810-A, 5810 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
Always have great service when stopping here. Been coming here for years. Clean, organized store, and the employees know their products
I’ve had good service at this store. The staff is polite, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Staff is awsome !
Nothing to write home about, but I did have a nice conversation with two of the guys that worked there and they shared some interesting insights on the manufacturing sales evolution over time, as well as dealing with other countries for business transactions.
never had a problem going to this store before but today when I went to rent an instrument, the guy I asked for help (manger I guess?) had this attitude of there’s no way you can get this. First when I asked him for the instrument he said they didn’t have it ,then he found it. Then when I showed him my car he said there was no way the instrument would fit in there just by looking at it. I had to ask can we at least try and when we did it fit. Lastly when It came time to pay he wouldn’t let me proceed b/c I didn’t have a credit card which is understandable and fine but the tone he used and the way he talked to me was really not called for. The whole process I just felt like he didn’t want to give this instrument to me, it was as if he was trying to find every excuse in the book to not let me have the instrument ugh! I guess I’m mostly bothered by the way that he talked to me and his unwillingness to try everything he could to try and allow me to rent the instrument. Towards the end it a little better, he said he would hold the instrument for me but I don’t know about going there again, it was just bad customer service. I work in a place I have to deal with customers all the time and I never talk to them the way he talked to, I didn’t deserve to feel like there was no way I was ever going to get that instrument and that’s the way he made me feel. I don’t think he meant to make me feel that way but that is indeed how I felt after my visit today.
The staff at Accent Music on 202 has little concern with customers needs. I was given every excuse in the book why my item was not ordered from the manufacturer when I could have ordered it myself and gotten it days ago. No tracking #? No ETA? No resemblance of customer service. I’m sure they like to sell things but just not to me.
This place is only good for school music rentals. Staff is not knowledgeable , instruments are over price and customer service is less then desirable. Stores are broke down and dangerous. Shop elsewhere….
9. Concord Music Company
Address: 2805 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
I bought an inexpensive acoustic bass guitar that needed repairs. Excellent job! Took time. Good work takes time. The price was great. The guys were very knowledgeable and ready to help. Shop is loaded in gear.
Needed a new saddle & set up on my acoustic PRS 6-string. First time going there and having anything done. The guys are great, knowledgeable & fun to talk to. They’ve been around the block and are very good at what they do. I recommend without hesitation & will return myself. 2 thumbs up from me.
I’ve been a customer of seaford music for twenty plus years. The Owner Dave is a great guy. Honest, skilled, and kind hearted. Always gives you the best service possible. Thank you for a great music shop and knowledgeable staff.
Has room to improve
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Large selection of products.
I bought my ukulele and banjo from this place. No problems and fair prices.
Called to know if they had any Tenor Saxophones and he had a bad attitude.
Just wasn’t sure why it was so unorganized and messy
Bought a few pieces of gear here. All above market price, first amp fried in less than a year, PRS guitar with cosmetic damage you could only see in certain light. And a PRS amp, brand new, that developd tube rattle in 3 months, even though I paid $300 over market value. Sadly, these small businesses don’t really do anything about the products they sell. But they’re definitely more expensive.
13. Music & Arts
Address: 17903 Willie Rd, Lewes, DE 19958 , Clayton , Delaware , United States

14. Milford Music Center
Address: 837 S Dupont Blvd, Milford, DE 19963 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
We had to get my son new strings for his guitar. We are new to the area and found this store. The lady who helped us was so nice and helpful. Will definitely be going there for our music needs
Got a brand new K300 from Pat. It’s not that easy to acquire the specific model you want during the pandemic, but thanks to Pat, I had a nice purchase experience. I won’t hesitate for a second to recommend this piano store to my friends.
Ms Pat is great to deal with. My son gets alot out of his music lessons with Dr. Bob. Am very impressed with Milford Music Center.
Nice friendly environment but not many books to choose from
I was promptly greeted and served when I entered the store. No lines; no waiting.
15. Earle Teat Music Delmar
Address: 38650 Sussex Hwy #5, Delmar, DE 19940 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
Very helpful staff. Attentive but not hovering. Good selection given supply shortages.
Awesome place to buy guitars, drums, basses, amps or other musical equipment. Very down-to-earth staff who know their stock very well and are super helpful.
Great place owner fantastic staff knowledgeable and helpful great equipment
Knowledgeable, friendly service, decent prices, good selection.
Every time my church needs any equipment we go to Earle Teat. The products are good, and the employees are always helpful and knowledgeable.
I have musician friends and family who swear by Earle Teat’s place. Even a small request is welcome, and if they don’t have an item, they can tell you where you can get it. Friendly to non-music people who are still learning, like me.
Horrible horrible place to sell used instruments called ahead asked if they would want to take a look at my violin the man that answered said yes and to bring it in he would look at it. I walked in there and he didn’t even say 5 words to me nor did he look at my violin and told me I should take it to a pawn shop. Horrible customer service very disappointed.
My so has been taking piano lessons at Keys2Ring for over two years. He had a hand injury when he was young and our therapist suggested playing the piano to keep his fingers nimble. Lessons were easy to schedule and he works at his own pace while still being held accountable. Mrs. Simms is constantly reinforcing all the core values that he is learning at home and school – it is a seemless fit.
Linda is patient and kind to “us older people” wanting to learn – her degree is in Music Education so she’s not just someone who knows how to play and decided to teach it – she knows HOW to teach it! Big difference!!
Very unpleasant experience
17. Keyboardamerica.Com
Address: 16373 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
Excellent Deals and service! Couldn’t have been any happier with my experience!
I am surprised by the negative reviews of this place. I recently bought a Clavinova here and the owners were very friendly and nice. Did not feel that they were condescending at all. They even threw in a gift for my daughter as I was leaving. It became clear pretty early on that they were musicians before salespeople.
This is one of the last remaining brick and mortar keyboard showrooms in the area, where you can try out your options. They have a small but affordable second-hand selection in addition to new pianos and keyboards. I bought an entry level Clavinova and it was cheaper here than Kraft, eBay and Amazon AND there is no sales tax in Delaware. Do yourself a favor.
Friendly staff have us great advice for selecting a digital keyboard for a beginner pianist and he gave us an excellent deal. The lesson teacher is talented and enthusiastic about teaching.
Since no one in our state stocks arranger keyboards anymore, or can even answer simple questions about them, I called Keyboard America. Mike answered my questions – I was not sure I believed him on all the answers compared to my Clavinova, but after I got my own, his answers turned out to be 100% correct. The Genos I first received had a defect that could not be detected by simply upgrading the software. I called Mike and after some quick diagnostics had Yamaha speak to me directly. To make a long story short, Yamaha said it was manufacturing defect and authorized Mike to replace it within a couple of weeks. The replacement Genos has performed flawlessly and met all my expectations! I originally had trepidations about not being able speak face to face about my purchasing questions and service after the sale if there was a problem. But Mike and Kathy at Keyboard America took the time to answer my questions and get me solutions when needed. I, for one, am glad they there and would have no qualms returning to them should I get the urge for another instrument in the future.
They were closed so I didn’t go in but they are a good one stop shop for any piano needs, books, tuning, and teacher recommendations
Don’t let the outside deter you. They have a very good selection of digital pianos, and great costumer service. And if no one is there, call the number on the door
I went in, Decided to have my own opinion about what I wanted, Got told I was an Idiot, went to B&B, Bought a Roland instead. That is the summary of my HOUR LONG ordeal of his horrible sales pitch of asking me like 3 questions, and then instantly taking me to a $5000 keyboard that looks and sounds absolutely terrible and is the size of a large coffee tableand ontop of that not even let me play it whatsoever to see if I ATLEAST liked the way it felt. I’m telling anyone who thinks of going there GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE.
If I could give a zero star rating, I would.
I wasn’t going to post anything, but since I saw some similar reviews, I figured I’d share. I was looking for a keyboard and a guy who I assumed was the owner showed me what I going to buy. When I asked some questions and looked at some other keyboards he “huffed” at me and walked away. I guess that was all the service I was gong to get. It’s hard to give someone your business after that. I ordered what I wanted online the next day. It’s too bad, but I get the impression that they are doing well enough that they don’t need to bother with difficult customers like me.
18. Smyrna Wine & Liquor Warehouse
Address: 8222, 2499 S Dupont Blvd unit a, Smyrna, DE 19977 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
I have been able to find some of my personal favorites here, which are either sold out or not in stock at other local wine and liquor locations. Thanks for stocking up on a brand I had asked about previously.
Good service and a wide choice of product. Only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is I hate the parking lot.
MAPS strikes again.. we visited an unrelated business on the building’s second floor. However, we generally prefer the liquor store behind the nearby Walgreens.
EVERYTIME I COME HERE THEIR SIGN SAYS THEY CLOSE AT 10 BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS ALWAYS CLOSED BY 945PM!!!!! THEY HAVE THESE 2 GIRLS WORKING THERE THAT ALL THE TIME BAD MOUTH THE STORE AND OWNERS IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS!! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND ALWAYS ACT LIKE YOUR BOTHERING THEM WITH YOUR BUSINESS. WILL NOT EVER COME BACK
I visited this place recently and they didn’t know anything about rice wine. Wow!
19. Snow’s Painting Llc
Address: 44 Artisan Dr, Smyrna, DE 19977 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
We had our living room, stairwell and upstairs hallway painted as well as the ceilings. The upstairs hallway and ceiling had some water stains on them from a previous leak in the roof and they treated those before painting. They also painted all the doors in the areas they were painting. The men did a fabulous job! I feel like I have a new house. I highly recommend Snow’s painting. The men showed up on time, were very professional and did a high quality job! I will use them for future projects as well.
Very professional, courteous. On time. Very respectful of everything in our house. Most importantly, I think the job they did was outstanding. The painting was done very well and they were easy to work with regarding color choice. There price is also quite reasonable, especially given the level of quality. Highly recommend them!
Work is beautiful! There was a mix up with colors, but they came back immediately to correct- no questions asked.
I was able to work with Mike to establish a plan to paint my 2-story home in a 2 week period. Julio and team did a great job listening to my requests and repairing imperfections in the drywall before painting. The paint job looks great!
We hired Snow’s Painting largely based on their local reputation. Our experience was not “bad”, but it was mediocre. Though the final job was satisfactory, I would have expected a more thorough job of caulking. I would have also expected that Snow’s would have done their own inspection of the work and not relied on my having to do it. So….not the exceptional experience I expected.
20. FYE
Address: 1365 N Dupont Hwy #5036, Dover, DE 19901 , Clayton , Delaware , United States
Store is a bit disheveled, doesn’t really welcome you unless you’re there to buy a dvd you knew you were getting or a funko pop.
FYE has the best products. My daughter loves Marvel and she purchased a Marvel sweatshirt that was on sale. She is very happy with her purchase.
Junky tween store
Absolutely no choices in music anymore.
NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER
get a subscription from this place or any of the fye locations.. cancelling that subscription is a massive aggravating experience like it was for me the last three attempts.. IT BETTER BE CANCELLED THIS TIME FYE!!!!
I just really find myself passing by this store more and more. Over the years, this became less of a pop culture store and more of a Weeaboo paradise. They always have the same Pop figure selection, and the same pocky/Ramone assortment. It’s like the store has a lot to offer but it seldom changes in variety. Really what kills the experience of coming in is the employees. There’s one guy who’s been there awhile (not sure if he still works there) who’s chill, but everyone else is always pushing that magazine subscription. I highly recommend only using cash if you do see something you like for sale. Because even if you say no to the magazine subscription, they seem to still take your card info and subscribe you anyway. And then you gotta call each magazine place to cancel.
And this is a recent experience, there’s a girl with dyed hair and piercings that works there and she’s rude to customers that don’t greet her. I walked in with my man and it wasn’t until Minutes of looking around before she greeted us with our backs turned. I said I was fine. And there was silence. And she rudely says,
“Oh, I’m fine thanks for asking.”
Like I know it’s the polite thing to do but seriously she works there, and I do apologize for my lapse of manners but we were already looking around.
Maybe the store just isn’t my thing anymore. Maybe it’s more teenager oriented now.
