The only music store in town. Ask for Damien the expert in sound!
Great service. Very kind people.
Guitar Center is my go to for “stuff”. I prefer to buy my instruments from the manufacturer as much as possible but having said that, I have purchased a guitar or two from GC.
They always have everything else I’ve needed and they don’t mind letting you try things out.
The hay day is gone. No front door person, no music playing, barely any customers and the layout changed. All the same boring guitars and overpriced accessories. To be honest I noy go if I happen to need strings and happen to be at the light, and happen to have time which is never. I won’t say I won’t be back, but let’s face it, you can buy what you need online. The days of people playing in bands in this Guitar Center location is dead and I foresee the store closing in the foreseeable future. Way of the dinosaur.
Customer service when looking for an instrument is good. However their hours during the quarantine changed frequently and they never update them on their local pages/google and don’t answer the phone. They’re open 12-7pm
Very dissatisfied. We had gone to another business and the employees could have cared less. We decided to take our business to another store. How sad the service was the same here. While I understand our sale would have only been 25 to 50 dollars your store was not busy at all for a Sunday. The employee basically pointed and grunted…over there. Your straps are not marked as to which instrument they will fit. How would I know. Could not get anyone to help us. I decided to order online. Next time you complain client are ordering online rather than coming into the store……this is why! Your loss
Horribly ran, managed, and owned!
Lack of service, totally ignored me. Lost me as a customer going forward…and I have dropped some coin in there before for band gear. Went there literally to buy a guitar and really couldn’t get any help from anyone. At least 4 employees in the store..two disappear, one is in PA/Live sound and one is working away on a guitar re-string as if he was curing a disease. I asked him for a cable to try a guitar and I got one after a sigh and him finishing the b string. Hello, Sam Ash.

Mike McDermitt at your McMullen Booth store was a great help. Thanks Mike
The manager james is so young but absolutely incredible!!! Insanely refined customer service skills, I am very impressed!
Walked in to sell a guitar and the guy said it would take awhile so he would just help one person “real quick” ended up being three people and took 30 minutes to assist us. Asked for someone else to help instead and the guy said “you can wait, we’re doing you a favor”. Definitely does not have the customers best interest. Won’t go here again. A gentleman whom might have been the manager help towards the end and made it and easier which is why I they received three stars instead of one.
Bought an electric guitar and amp a couple of weeks ago. It was an impulse buy. I already play acoustic, and after playing the electric a few times, I realized it was going to hang on the wall a lot. I returned everything yesterday and wanted to get a higher end acoustic than what I already had. They took the return with no questions asked and then patiently assisted me for 2 hours as I played several acoustic guitars to find the one I liked. Good experience.
Staff are all very knowledgeable
I ordered a looper on Dec. 20. I write this on Jan. 6 and still have not received the pedal. I have called three times, all three times been asked to provide my phone number and to have my call returned after they “look into” the order. I have yet to have been given an update on the order, that I was told would take 4 or 5 days, have yet to be called back and will never purchase from here again. I know things get busy around the holidays but I ordered 2 pedals from other stores and actually received those in 2-3 days without paying for shipping. The competition delivers, and that’s all I ask for.
Bought a mic right after work. As soon as I started to slide it out of the box noticed it only had a one ring seperator on the tip, instead of two, so I knew it wouldn’t work and slid it back in the box. This was a cheap #15 mic. Took it back the very next day and this $15 mic was scrutinized like it cost $1000. Does it smell to you? what is this speck? , etc. Now I get it, why they check it out. What I don’t get is insuating I abused this expensive mic to the point I never want to buy anything from this place again. Costly mistake on their part over a cheap bulk item. Makes me think that anything I bought there that might be defective will be deemed my fault. So much for that drum set I had my eye on for a while. Oh, btw, I did get the refund, but that wasn’t the point. It was the attitude from the girl behind the counter more than anything. I don’t like being blamed for things I didn’t do.
Got given the wrong sizes tubes, tried to return it, told me no, understandable but also kind of a bad policy, at least test the tubes or have a tubes tester to make sure people aren’t scamming you instead of a flat out no or don’t deal tubes, place is almost as bad as guitar center these days.
6. Clear Track Recording Studios
Address: 814 Franklin St, Clearwater, FL 33756 , Clearwater , Florida , United States
Clear Track Studios has become home away from home. Mike, Spencer, and Colleen are top shelf in their profession. Extremely accommodating, competent, and professional. We are finishing up our third record there and Spencer’s expertise, input, and guidance has been immeasurable. We are very proud of our work ( and play!) there and Spencer’s fingerprints are all over it and we couldn’t be happier! Looking forward to recording our next record there! My highest recommendation to this state of the art recording facility and it’s exemplary staff. Clear Track Studios is the right choice!

If you need professional audio recordings, you are throwing your money away unless you go to Clear Track Studios
Few people may have the equipment, less know what to do with it. Even fewer studios would go the extra mile to ensure the very best is being recorded. Even fewer than that have the equipment, knowledge, encouragement, work ethic and service at a reasonable price. This is the place. We are definitely booking more time there. Thanks to Spencer, Mike and Colleen.
Professional, percise, knowledgeable engineering with recording mixing and mastering
James Forbes is a pro. A great mix of talent, knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism. Clear Tracks has all the tools and they know how to use them.
Gran estudio de grabación. Instalaciones y equipos 1A!
Thanks to Nawledge and the engineer that he usually works closely with I enjoy the 2 tracks that we worked on.
I would work with them both again. For sure.
Bad Business. FYI I was told it can take up to a year for them to get back to me Smh..Unprofessional.

I have studied classical music for the past 55 years. Recently, I purchased a Rodgers Classic organ (series 558) for practice at home. The price was excellent, and service is outstanding! On the day of delivery, the truck arrived and the console, bench, and pedal unit were all blanket wrapped.
They spent about 1 1/2 hours setting the instrument up in the living room, testing and adjusting as necessary (pedals sitting on a carpeted floor), and a good 30 minutes or more showing ALL features and answering all questions.
Having been a music director in the South Florida Area for over 30 years, I have personally played on some of their installations – both electronic and hybrid electronic/pipe instruments. It becomes obvious when one walks into a church that great care was taken in designing the perfect instrument for the space – not only visually, but also acoustically. I have long been a fan of Rodgers instruments and they are the South Florida representatives.
Whether you have need of a practice instrument at home, or your church is looking to replace or upgrade the organ, I recommend without hesitation that you check with Central Music. I’m sure that you will agree that they stand out from their competitors in design, price, and support.
Central Organ has been a wonderful company to work with — Tim, and staff, have been so accommodating in helping St. Luke’s get a new organ that fits both our church, and our budget. Their service has been excellent. I would highly recommend them to any organization looking to purchase an organ.
Having been a member of the Team of Central Music for many years, serving as Regional Manager for the Rodgers Church Organ Division in Southwest Florida, this great company is family to me. The combined experience of the sales and technical team is unsurpassed. There is no other company out there quite like Central Music, Inc.
Bad customer service, very rude
Owner stood over me questioning about my income. Felt very unwelcoming. She claimed to do a lot of work with the church, but should probably read the Bible again. There are better piano shops where people welcome aspiring musicians…

Great selection of used records. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back.
My favorite place. incredible selection and very friendly down to earth people. You would have to spends Days here to go through all the music, there’s that much!
Friendly service, ample variety of collectible imports.
Another local gem for vinyl records! Can’t wait to go back..
I love the selection of vinyl, however alot of it is un-priced?I didn’t get that…Needs a bit of organizing…great selection though!
I’ll be back…
Dishonest owner who tried to scam me on a couple LPs. Buy prices are painfully low. Sell prices are too high with no room to budge. The record grading here is poor and always a level higher than reality to bump up the price.
Vinyl records seem inferior to any form of digital recording. Also highly prone to degradation of quality. Value seems to be mostly due to scarceness and cult followings. Of no value to me.
I sent the owner an offer for a record. Read receipt seen, no response. I messaged the owner again. Read receipt seen, no response. If an offer is too low, at least respond. This record shop decided to be childish. I won’t be buying any records. Sometimes all of us just need to be treated like a human being.

Shocking to see so many wonderful books of all types of subjects! The place is stacked high w books and shelves are close, making it a little crowed, yet worth the effort to look n buy.
What a gem of a place! Books line shelves from floor to ceiling and Credence Clearwater Revival played as I rummaged through titles from all over the world by lamp light instead of over head fluorescents! I left with 6 books including a book I’d been hunting for online for months to no avail! I see a lot of people noting that there wasn’t enough organization or space and sure its a tight squeeze down some isles but I think this is what all great bookshops are like! Half of the romance is the clutter and the hunt! I cant even tell you how many other awesome titles I wrote down that I’ll be back for over time that you wont find anywhere else! The owner was SO nice and accommodating and he also sells antiques and lamps (a few of which I’m picking up tomorrow) and records! I will be a regular customer here! If you want curated shelves hit up barnes and noble if you want a romantic independent book store so full of one of a kind titles that it’s practically magical this is the store for you!
It’s got lots of books who knows what you’ll find the person running it I really nice.
Just a bit too small
Bueno
I was looking for vintage Conan comics, they called me back and let me know when they had found some. Good people!
Horible, nasty place. Owners were just as sleezy and dishonest.
Web page shows it open, stood there 20 mins then left never opened. Wasted my time.
Has a lot of books and the staff is helpful but when i went it was too crowded with stuff to walk around the store. Seemed like a fire hazard.

I’ve been to the Music Gallery of Clearwater many times throughout the years, mostly for accompanying students for recitals, festivals, or competitions, and I’ve always enjoyed perusing the wonderful selection of instruments they have in store. About a year ago, after one of the competitions that was hosted there, I decided to seriously look into investing in my own instrument. I spoke to Jonathan Hunt, told him exactly what I was looking for and what I needed out of a piano and he introduced me to Boston uprights. Immediately I was impressed at the quality of tone and ease of control; it far exceeded my expectations for an upright. Today, almost a year after first meeting with Jonathan, I came into the store with the intention of purchasing an instrument. He graciously let me try out each of the instruments until I found the one I was most happy with, giving me detailed information about each model as I tried them out. He was very honest about which ones he thought would be best suited for me as well as which ones he would not recommend for my needs, and explained his reasoning in detail. He was very attentive, polite, and encouraging, as well as very transparent with the details, as he walked me throughout the entire experience, he made an effort to get to know me as a musician, and I am very proud to say that, as of today, I now own my first piano – the Boston UP-126E Performance Edition! As a professional pianist, I felt that my needs were very well met by this instrument, and I’m so excited to really get to know this instrument and make wonderful music with it. I very much enjoyed my experience today, and I would strongly recommend this gallery to anyone looking to purchase a high quality instrument. 11/10
Exceptional assistance in finding the right piano for our family. Jonathon & Charlie share their expertise with patience taking the pressure out of the process. The whole Music Gallery team are professional and kind-Bryce & Anthony moved our pianos with a smile! Their selection of piano’s fit any budget yet all are inspiring instruments. Highly recommend!
This is the very best Piano shop in town. The folks here are very thoughtful and gave me a lot of advice on how to restore my Spinet Piano. Thank you so much for all your help. Thanks to you it’s on its way to many years of enjoyment for my family, especially during the holidays. Hope you all had a safe and very merry holiday and hope you have an even better new year. 🙂
Nice but very tiny parking for music recitals
They have wonderful piano from upright to baby and grand pianos.
Lots of nice pianos.
I’m sure the place is great if you’re buying a piano. It’s just one of those experiences where, if you’re not a dollar sign, you don’t deserve respect type of things. I was just helping my parents sell their old piano because they were moving. So I called around, these guys popped up first in the search. The guy didn’t sound too enthusiastic when I told him I had an old piano to sell. fair enough I suppose. Sent pics and he said not interested, which was fine, no problem there. So I asked if he could recommend me some options. You know what he said? “It’s an old used up piano” No one wants it the cost would exceed the value (which was true yes) Then he proceeds to say “Just the truth”. Like really bro? You had to put it like that so rudely? That could’ve been said a million other ways without having to be condescending. I called another place up and they didn’t want the piano either, the difference was that they were professional, kind and actually gave us some information on where we can donate and even helped setup up a time for a pickup from the donation center. VERY helpful. So my 1 star is directed toward the rude, disrespectful guy who was also condescending to me, just down right rude. He didn’t see profit, so he didn’t feel the need to reciprocate respect. He was just a jerk. Tweeted it to my 300K+ followers and made a Youtube video on my main channel on snobs like this guy. On the plus side, this gave me an idea to create some content on Youtube. The ad revenue I’m going to get is definitely going to exceed the cost of this experience. Worth it.
My wife and I visited this place today and found the staff inattentive and non-friendly.
I walked around the entire store and none of the staff even said hello.
Walked out very disappointed. 2 thumbs down.
I searched (googled) for the new location of Piano Distributors and the paid search result came back with this store’s address. Highly unethical and probably illegal. I wish I could select less than 1 star!
15. Taylor Robinson Music & Voice Lessons
Address: 101 Old Coachman Rd., Clearwater, FL 33765 , Clearwater , Florida , United States
One of her greatest talents is the ability to fully understand your voice and customize exercises to target your weaknesses and strenghts. Her lessons are never monotonous and you are always learning something new.
The store also has some of the most beautiful insturments you’ll see, just a shame i can’t play any. Truly a great selection which will appeal to anyone with any aptitude for this sort of thing!
Thanks for the great lesson and I look forward to many more!
Great initial response, but I’m guessing the initial response is automated because initial contact from a provider, I got 0 follow-up.
Horrible customer service and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Definitely other providers our there that are more responsive and who actually care about customer service.
Paid $300 over two weeks ago with nothing to show for it. Can’t register with a teacher. My online message go unanswered . My text messages and voicemails do not get replied. At this point, I’m thinking it’s all a scam.

Great prices, friendly helpful owner with a nice selection and variety of items. There are new and retro turntables for sale at great prices. Highly Recommended.
Great place A lot of records could spend hours in there, very friendly owner just bought some great audio equipment for a good price, only problem is finding it is tough even with GPS just past enterprise on frontage road easy to miss now I know where it is I will be back!
Great selection reasonable prices
The kid was very nice and well educated on his music. They don’t give you very much for your very old vinyl albums though
Visited on RSD, nothing much going on compared to previous years. Decent selection, prices bit higher than other local shops.
Not a place for finding collectible records from the 50s and 60s. Small selection of LPs generally in poor condition but priced as if they were better. Has no 45s or EPs. Owner doesn’t respond to email sent via his website or through Facebook messenger. Wasted trip.
Decent little shop. Leans towards new records with a selection of used. Prices are about on par. Unfortunately, I was looking for something specific and the owner/clerk was too busy talking to the regulars to even acknowledge my presence until it was time to take money. With the number of record shops in the vicinity, this is probably not the best strategy.
I would say the service is horrible, but I would have first have to have been acknowledged before receiving any. Outside of shop is unkempt, records are in disarray, and staff is just as happy to ignore you as they are make a sale. Spend your money ANYWHERE else.
