The people there are super nice and they have some really cool players that come around from time to time
Beautiful small guitar and music store in Downtown clermont! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and an amazing player’ highly recommended.
After spending days searching for a good musical Instrument store, I finally found JUBAL at the Galleria at Soma, Robert is very knowledgeable and everything he has is very unique and selective guitars and accessories! I will definitely come back.

Awesome business!!! As a pastor and sound engineer, I have found I can get what I need to make things better. Good inventory of quality items. You’ve got to shop The Music Store!
If you are looking for a high class studio and audio store, this is it!!! They have everything you could possibly need or want for whatever instrument you play. They offer lessons at a tremendous rate and the staff is professional and extremely knowledgeable with all aspects of music and accessories. I highly recommend this store whether you are a beginner or you have been playing for years.
Rick really knows his stuff. Great customer service
Rick was warm & friendly & it seems to have a nice stock of instruments. Tucked in the corner of the Staples building so it’s easy to drive right by without seeing it. Very little sheet music for vocalists so if that’s what your looking for don’t bother. They have an open mic night every 1st Saturday so I will come to one & see what it’s like.
Left them guitar to glue the neck, the estimation was way above market, that’s OK. I’ve decided to go to other store but during pick up I found scratches here and there. Lucky me-made a video when I did bring a guitar the 1st time. I am just disappointed- waste a month and no result. They did polish and removed scratches (not all as I found out in another store). Not a bad store with various instruments new and used, I even bought a bass, but I do not trust their guitar master. Rick is a good guy but the master is a 3rd party that occasionally appears and takes guitars home, where I guess and damage mine.
I dropped off my instruments for a tuneup. I was quoted $280 and I said of course! Never had a problem until I went to pick them up! Two individuals whom I’ve never seen before were at the counter. My instruments were sitting aside ready for pickup. I told the man who asked how much I was charged $280. He goes to the back, gets someone else and she never addresses me but questions him in obvious skepticism $280 for all of this? She proceeds to go in the back, as if she’s out of range of my hearing, to call the owner and verify if I was telling the truth. Why would I lie? $280 is not a little bit. Then she proceeds to say we just wanted to make sure because we weren’t told. I should have been able to come in with my tickets, ID, and money and pick up my instruments! Not have to wait because of whatever PREJUDICE these people feel! That exchange alone is why I’ll NEVER return here! I’ll pay whatever for my instruments.
Edit–Response:
Rick B.,
You are correct–you were NOT there. I am aware that you are the owner and as the owner you FAILED to communicate with your employees. Either way, there were failures through no fault of my own. I shared MY experience, which you were not present for and you have ADMITTED was your fault. SHAME ON YOU! This ought to be a learning lesson in communication so that these FAILURES do not happen again in the future! DO BETTER!
I wish I could shop here, I try to come at night and there closed before posted hours. I try to come on a Thursday at 11am, still closed when posted they open at 10:30. Must not want business.
Their pricing is ridiculous. $250 for a used Ibanez acoustic that’s missing the electronics? That guitar sells for $350 brand new!! Also, after reading the reviews, I would bet $100 that most of the 5 star reviews were made up by the owner. Absolutely pathetic.

This place is great .The staff is super helpful and totally worth the drive if you live pretty far.
Very reasonable prices and a decent selection. Very friendly staff
Weekend before last I went to all the big record stores in St Petersburg. Found lots of copies of the same common lps since most of those store save their good stuff for internet sales. This weekend I went to TRIANGLE VINYL and not only did he offer way more store credit then the St Petersburg stores on my trade in Records but he had a much better selection including both new and used and he makes sure he has unique stuff that others don’t. I have been to 12 or so record stores from SC to FL in the past 2 years and this place was by far the best!
Fun place. Kinda on the expensive side.
Left with a couple fun things to listen to.
Was very glad to see how busy and supported the shop was.
Definitely stop in!
Nice to see a record store. I went for record store day and didn’t see any of the new release records and no signage to indicate they were participating so we left
Nice place to pickup some LP, didn’t spend much time to check cause get there close to closing will post an update.
What a joke this store is! I traveled several hours to visit this store and when I arrived, during normal posted business hours, they were closed. No note or explanation to be found. Phone calls went unanswered. There was another guy there at the same time and he told me that this was the second time that it has happened to him and that he would never be back. Neither will I. Quite unfortunate for them because I had a wad of cash that I was ready to drop on records. Several other record stores in the Orlando area made out that day. Triangle Vinyl, not so much.
Response to Owner: First, sorry to hear that about your stepdad, I hope he is on the road to recovery. The day I was there was mid afternoon. Maybe you ran an errand or something. I understand that life sometimes gets in the way. A short note on the door saying “back in 15 minutes” or “closed due to emergency” or “in the bathroom” would at least explain the reason for being closed during normal business hours. Maybe “joke” was a little harsh. I was mostly just disappointed. I really wanted to check out your store.
Second, still speaking of being disappointed, you saying that you “really don’t care about people saying that say they’ll drop a wad of cash” is actually saying that you really don’t care about your customers, or your business for that matter. I was literally ready to spend hundreds of dollars in your store. But, hey, it’s your business and you can run it how you see fit. I was thinking about giving you another chance when I’m back in the area but now, once again, I’m not so sure. I do still wish you the best and much success with your business.
Visited today (12/30/22) and was surprised to see they moved. There was little to indicate the new location as well. The record selection is not what it used to be and records are priced too high for my taste. I hope they make necessary changes to get it back to its true potential.
I used to enjoy going to this shop when it was originally on highway 50, then moved to 8th street in Clermont. The previous owner knew what he was doing and made it a great record shop with a wide and regularly updated selection. It was an inviting place. Today it didn’t fit any previous experience.
I don’t think I’ll be back for a while. Here’s hoping it gets back to its glory.
Owners are clueless in how to run a business. And even more so in how to deal with people.

The teachers have been very helpful, and the kids are learning a great deal. The teachers foster a love for music. Great group of people.”
An awesome family owned store. They are willing to work around schedules and know that kids will be kids. Our young daughters have been here for over a year and have no intention of changing that.
We are very thankful to have found Family Music! My son has learned so much in just a few months. Any issues are addressed promptly and the staff always goes over and above to make their customers happy. The piano instruction is top-notch. We also had our piano tuned and were very happy with that service as well! Wonderful place!
I like the friendly atmosphere, which allows my kids to feel comfortable and express themselves freely. My kids look forward to going to their lessons each week. The instructors are great and communicate well.
Madi was very rude and unprofessional!
There are cheaper and better instrument rental businesses in town. Went to get an instrument and I was given a very used dirty instrument that frankly I would be ashamed to rent out. I felt as if I had to refurbish the item before my child could use it. Went to return the instrument and the owner was very gracious in returning our fund to us. Talking to the owner I figured out that they were pushing out to inexperienced parents the worse instruments they had in the store without giving us other options which were available. Lost my business and I hope that of many other. So buyer beware!
Don’t recommend. Teachers are impatient, critical of parenting and just care about making you buy books versus teaching. Lost a months worth of classes because they have no make days. They used to have make up days on Saturdays but they just group you with random people instead of giving you that individualized attention that you’re paying for. When we couldn’t make it we were told to just attend class virtually…I mean not being able to make it is literally not being able to make it regardless if in person or virtually. Switched teachers a couple of times because they started to get fresh with us and owner decided to call us up to say that my boys weren’t a fit for the school. Instead of working with us like a professional business he insinuated that we were difficult…After three years of lessons for two kids, buying books after another and even payed a tune up and we were the problem…
Thankfully there’s tons of music options in the area. I suggest you go elsewhere.
