I’m pretty sure this place doesn’t exist. I have tried to call them and the line is disconnected. I drove to those buildings listed as the address with no luck. Even the google photo is showing a different building.
These dudes are helpful, the guy I worked with his name was Mo…real cool staff an helped me with the loan amount I asked for
Muy buena esperiencia muy buen servicio pregunten por hector
Today I experienced one of the best things, Allen the detail guy sprayed and washed my car for free, I went to give him a tip( the same amount I would of paid for a regular was) and he said no pay it forward, super great and kind people is what we need like him
This is a very customer friendly business. The manager is extremely fair and honest all around good guy. Also the assistant I had the pleasure in dealing with Ariel was a huge help to me in explaining the system and how it works. My only issue was the interest of the loan @ 12% was a little high on an auto pawn loan compared to Massa Auto pawn which is only 10% and no storage fee. Otherwise great team of professionals with friendly attitudes.
I really enjoyed going to this Pawn shop today. They we’re very quick to assisting me and very nice. I’m only concerned with the level of privacy you have to give up just to get under $100 cash. My ID would have been just fine
Reasonable. Good Selection.
I needed some extra cash to purchase an AWD BMW. The reason was strictly due to the heavy snow fall that Denver CO receives most winters. My ex wife drove a Honda civic & I drove this Firebird. Reluctantly, I did a pawn loan on my Firebird for down payment on BMW. When it became time to take my Firebird out of pawn, the Manager at the Thornton, Co Jumping Jack Cash location, decided he wanted to make a bigger profit off my car, rather than what the store location would make off my mere pawn. The Smuck, blatantly, w/ malice & forethought, stole my vehicle by not adhering to the pawn contract & or agreed to terms. He sold my pride & joy, collectors edition Firebird, deceptively as well as illegally as far as I am concerned. What a dirty S.O.B. In other words, I got car jacked at, Dirty Jumping Jack Cash.
Very dirty, homeless people sleeping outside.
I brought a Great working Mitre saw in to the shop and they told me they couldn’t take it because it was “too old” yet, on the way into the shop they have multiple old looking tools, which I had their guy look up the welder they had outside and it was OLDER and in WORSE condition than my saw, yet they had the welder marked for 300$. They’ll only take a look at your things if your a grungy/ shady looking guy, trying to make a quick buck, but anyone who tries to make legitimate business with them, they’ll turn you away or offer you OFFENSIVE OFFERS for your things. They will even lead you on and tell you to bring your things in, just to tell you no, I’ve had it happen 5+ times and I’ve had enough of their rudeness towards me. I’ve wasted so much time and money trying to bring things in and just told no. Shop/pawn at your own risk
5. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 5990 Dahlia St, Commerce City, CO 80022 , Commerce City , Colorado , United States
Excellent! Had everything I needed. Shopping cart attendant even took my trash (empty 134a cans) in for me. Thx!
Very nice Wal-Mart, everything you need of course. Plus they have Family restroom in the back, you can take your kids in our you and your spouse can go and chat while one freshens up, etc.
Who doesn’t love walmart
Good Store
Fast and friendly …..would be a lot faster if you could open self check …cash only
It’s a great store with pretty much everything you need. My beef is with the hours. I’ve never seen or heard of a Wally World super center not being open 24/7. Then they don’t open till 7 which screws ppl that have to be at work at 7. If you don’t feel it’s viable to be open 24/7 fine. At least open at 4 or 5am then so ppl who work early can make an emergency run for necessities before work.
cancelled my delivery a few hours before, placed hours before. said it was the store manager that called, gave me no other options. its all good, i’ll be going to my credit card company and receiving a full refund on this walmart plus BS.
It was horrible horrible horrible….I went to go pick up money anda my son needed coinstar and they were already costing down the for the evening at 7:25 which the website for all locations was incorrect! Weren’t supposed to close service center till 8. Also when 8 needed help a long time ago the tire service guy didn’t know how to get a bike tire to dorm to the frame of the rim…. what a smart tire guy 2009 summer!!!!!
Too cluttered
6. Redbox
Address: 4850 E 62nd Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022 , Commerce City , Colorado , United States
This place is great! They let me trade my Larrivee acoustic-electric and small Blackstar combo amp for a used Epiphone SG and the process/experience was great!
Nice guys and quick to help without being predatory
Friendly and helpful staff.
Good store for inexpensive used gear
Great equipment at decent prices.
Heavy on amps and pa, but you can never tell what will walk in.
The store clerk seemed to not know much about topics or items they have in the shop.
But the manager know what he’s talking about most of the time. (Opinion).
Dropped in with a friend. He had some business to do there. I guess since I wasn’t spending money they wouldn’t let me use their rest room. Told me to go across the street.
Not a music store. This is a pawn shop. Don’t waste your time. Their business is screwing people over. They’ll screw you by offering you half of what your gear is worth. Then they’ll screw buyers who don’t know any better by overcharging. The store was 90% old outdated junk.
I would give zero stars if I could. Just went in there to try and buy a new amp. I tried a peavey bandit 65 from the 80s. They’re asking $200 for the amp. It’s only worth about $150 and the high gain channel doesn’t work, The amp has no foot switch, which is required to even switch from the dirty to clean channel on this amp. The only thing that works is the Lo gain dirty channel. I pointed this out to the staff, and offered them $125 for the amp because I thought I could fix it. They then told me I was right about the problems with it but I was being rude and needed to leave. I admit that I was a bit abrasive, but I think anyone would be when you go into a used gear store and the first thing you try to use doesn’t work, and then they act like you are the problem for bringing it to their attention. i think it’s rude for a store to sell used gear that doesn’t work and tell me I’m rude for pointing out the fact that it doesn’t work. Hands-down, worst store I’ve ever been to
10. Hackl Guitars Repair Shop
Address: 3139 Milwaukee St, Denver, CO 80205 , Commerce City , Colorado , United States
My Peavey bass has had FOUR previous owners , and had not been properly cared for in a few ways. I knew Justin through mutual friends and decided he was the best person to care for her. Dropped her off, Justin explained to me up front what should be done and how much it would cost. The Jack was ruined, wiring was not connecting enough for the sound to pick up. About 5 days later it was ready for me to pick up, he explained what he did and why, said it played great and boy did it! Along with the Jack replacement, he did a full setup and worked on the bridge so the strings wouldn’t buzz as much when I played. Needless to say, it plays AMAZING now, and I’m finally realizing I’m not bad at playing bass, I just didn’t have one in proper shape to be a new player in the learning process. It feels and sounds great, affordable pricing and kind customer service.
brilliant guitar shop! could not respect the owner more, great sense of humour!
Awesome little guitar shop! Very welcoming and had a great stock to look at. Ike and Dillon were very welcoming and answered any questions I had for them. I bought an acoustic off of them for a very fair price. I will definitely be a return customer. Thanks guys!
Excellent place!! Highly recommend for any electric guitar needs!!!
Wicked cool place, worth the visit
Great place
This store is one of Denver’s hidden gems! I walked in looking for a bass pre-amp… These guys blew me away with their knowledge and friendlyness. They definitely know their stuff. I’d recommend flip side to any bassist or guitarist for any needs except repairs( I don’t know if they do repairs, I didn’t ask, as I already have a guy for that…).
Pretty good store with decent prices
Overly expensive and also lots of homeless people hanging outside on the street near by. It’s a dump.
13. Colfax Guitar Shop
Address: 3220 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80206 , Commerce City , Colorado , United States
Great service. They gave me an accurate quote and the time estimate was on the nose. My guitar is in much better shape and the staff helped me figure out what needed to be done. Very satisfied!
Awesome shop, great service, great guys.
Great shop! Specializes in working on guitars. The have a good selection of strings and small selection of used guitars and pick-ups for sale. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Pricing for services is reasonable and performed by their competent staff. Highly recommend them for set-ups or installations.
Amicable and friendly staff. Dave and Christian are always helpful and their quality of service is top notch. If you need your guitar set up or repaired, definitely stop here first.
Friendly staff, though a bit limited in selection and on the expensive side for essentials like strings.
very pleased with the set on my strat. dave’s owned the business for about a year and i am quite pleased with my first visit
Over charged for strings 30$ a pack 20$ for a capo horribly over priced would not suggest it.maybe they make custom made guitars not sure.
I brought in a guitar with a Floyd rose tremolo system. The guy at Colfax guitar shop said it was a quick fix setup and would take a week. All this a side, I come in in a week as promised and the guitar at the time appeared to have been set up wonderfully. I even presented a tip to the guy because I was very grateful for the work he did. He asked if I was “sure” that I would tip him and I said “absolutely”. When I got home with the guitar I noticed some things. For one the locking mechanisms on the nut were all crooked. Two days later the high E string snapped. Now a month later some of the strings are buzzing again and some of the notes on the second octave don’t bend or even ring. Now I’m a nice respectable guy and I don’t mean Ill will against them, but if I pay close to a hundred dollars(and I am low income) for someone to adjust the truss rod, restring and in my opinion do just minor work, I expect a certain level of quality. They are great guys and all but next time I think I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Thanks
NO INTEGRITY! POOR WORK! DISHONEST! HIGH PRICES! THIS PLACE USED TO BE GREAT. THEY HAVE STUDENTS DOING POOR WORK AND INSTEAD OF MANAGEMENT OVERSEEING TO ENSURE QUALITY, THEY PRIORITIZE DEFLECTING AND DEFENDING THEIR SHODDY OUTPUT. DON’T BE FOOLED!
I PAID $270 TO HAVE THEM RETURN MY GUITAR TO ME WITH THE SAME PROBLEM IT HAD WHEN I DROPPED IT, PLUS A NEW PROBLEM! AND THEY DAMAGED MY FRETBOARD WITH SOME CARELESS FILING! I dropped a guitar, asking for a full fret level, I said I was okay with them replacing a saddle, replacing a nut, whatever they needed to do to park that action as low without any buzz! In other words, I was willing to pay for good work. The guy checking in my guitar told me he could probably lower a couple high frets and raise the action. I told him not to do that, I explained I could do that myself! I asked him to do a comprehensive fret level, saddle, nut, whatever was needed to make this thing right. 2 weeks later they call and tell me they raised the action, filed a couple frets and my guitar was ready to pick up? I asked him to do the thing I had initially asked for. So, a couple days later, they say it’s ready. It had the same buzz it had before, plus a new buzz that it didn’t have at all when I dropped it off! I brought it back and asked them to see if they could dial it in, fix those couple things… The manager spends the next 10 minutes arguing with me. He tells me my playing style is too aggressive. I play fingerpicked folk music. This guy never heard me “play” a note. I only thumbed a string a couple times to demonstrate a buzz. He both tried to tell me the undeniable buzzing was okay (and I should be happy with it) and also that it wouldn’t buzz if I played differently. Again, he has no idea how I play and fingerpicked folk is hardly aggressive. I explained that I am unhappy with the work. I just want these buzzes fixed, that I’d paid $270 and what I was promised hadn’t been delivered. In fact, I now have an additional buzz! He tells me we can just start ratcheting up the action and that I should sit there with him for an hour while “we” adjust the truss rod and play. I told him I can do that at home and that I had already adjusted the truss rod to try and eliminate the new buzzes and that I had the action HIGHER THAN IT WAS WHEN I INITIALLY BROUGHT IT IN but was still getting a buzz. So his best remedy was to help me achieve MORE BUZZES AND HIGHER ACTION than when I brought it in. He just kept talking about my “playing style” to deflect from their awful work. They did a horrible job (or didn’t do the job at all). They charged top dollar for it. Manager tried desperately to convince me it’s my fault. It would be like taking your car in for an alignment, they give it back and it’s pulling harder than it was when you dropped it off and they try and convince you that your “driving style” is the problem. You just need to crank the wheel to the left harder! It would have been nice to have them just go, “Oh, it’s still buzzing? Let’s see what we can do to fix it!” Rather than dive directly into arguing with me and trying to gaslight me into believing it’s my fault they suck. The only remedy that was offered was the one I could have done at home, for free, prior to ever having brought this thing in. I could have had the same (or better) result and kept $270 in my pocket. These guys are trash. It’s sad. I suspect if I’d asked them to work on my $5,000 guitar, they would have taken the job a little more seriously. But based on their poor work, and the arrogant, obnoxious attitude of the manager, I wouldn’t trust them to work on anything again. Sloppy.

15. Mi Pueblo Market
Address: 6040 E 64th Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022 , Commerce City , Colorado , United States
My husband carries a knife on his belt all the time We have been here several times and never had any issue. Today he got singled out and got asked to leave the store. The security guard told us that there was a no knife sign on the door but I did not see one. Never will I spend my hard earned money here again. Very disappointed.
They right away thank you speak Spanish and that’s how they talk to you I don’t like that
Awesome, personalized service! Great selection, and lessons available!
Customer service was as good as could be expected with as busy as they were.
Great service by Riley
Gran variedad
They seem to never have anything I need.
Helpful staff, but suggesting I purchase a $99 mic and then not having any on stock seems a poor way to run a business
The guitar guy, Chris (I think that was his name…bald with glasses) was of zero help and when we asked for a creative solution for a power source we needed he simply said no. Didn’t try to help, and honestly didn’t really seem to care. Luckily someone from another department overheard our conversation and with his help we ended up getting exactly what we needed. He helped us out more than he probably knows.
Guitar Center has really gone down hill. It’s not what it used to be.

Address: 4640 N Williams St, Denver, CO 80216 , Commerce City , Colorado , United States
Rented a PA/Mic combo for a large, outdoor presentation and I could not been happier with the equipment or the service they provided.
Mark and crew are knowledgeable, and they have the sound expertise to assist in all your PA needs.
Rented speakers from this business for an event. Great customer service & Matt was good to work with.
Decent prices and pretty helpful when renting sound equipment.
This is really a no frills motel, but it is close to everything one would need. It has that historical feel, with a hint of nostalgia. The rooms are good sized and comfortable. It appeared that most tenants are full time, which I believed to be the reason they were friendly. It’s not five star, but I didn’t see any bugs, mice or anything else that may go creep in the night.
I’ve heard nothing about good things but I intend to get a repair there so I’ll add to my review after that’s done.
I’ve bought gear here for over 20 years. Bought a couple breakout cables a month ago. I was hesitant to buy this kind as it differed from the quality I had gotten there before. Sure enough even though I babied it, they failed. They would not even exchange it. I will never spend another damn dollar there.
Terrible customer service
This place may be a good supplier of products but they do not pay their vendors. If you want to sell to them, BEWARE, they may not pay you for services rendered or products provided. You will probably want to receive your money in advance.
