Friendly, knowledgable owner and staff. We have rented instruments here and my son is taking drum lessons. When he first started band in fifth grade, Robin took a lot of time letting him try out the band instruments and encouraging him. He’s been playing trumpet for three years now. They have reasonable rental prices and a good equity program if you want to eventually buy the instrument. Great place!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Greeted me as soon as I entered the door and asked if I needed help. On the small side, but a decent inventory of both new and used guitars. Plenty of accessories and other band equipment. Street parking, but not difficult to find a spot. The strings I bought seemed a little pricey, but to be expected for D’addario. but other than that, great store.
Love this place! Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly. I am currently leasing a violin and taking weekly lessons from this place, and the experience has been great every time I go there! My teacher George is very skilled and encouraging and I couldn’t be happier!
Friendly service. Attentive, knowledgeable, immediate.

GC employees were so nice and humble helping me to find a string($1.60)for my acustic guitar, they attended me so good and payed attention to what I needed. Would definitely come back.
Mark at the guitar repair station gave outstanding service. We were able to work out a more budget friendly solution by using spare junk parts the store had lying around.
The number of guitar pedals in store is lacking though. Better off looking online.
Great customer service
they changed the floor plan and put the cashier in the center of the store, and the selection of guitars has been cut in half, not as good as it used to be.
wish they opened earlier on Sundays
Helpful staff
No good
After years of coming to this place… It still sucks. I have been here so many times and have rarely ever been greeted or treated like a customer that this place wanted to have. It seems I could care less about people… As I came in to actually buy a full-on electronic drum set… And price was no issue whatsoever… But not one person even bothered to ask if I wanted any help. So… Guitar Center… Since you are so unwilling to offer any customer service whatsoever… I went and bought from another place that took care of me. Thanks for continuing to be one of the worst customer service places I’ve ever experienced… I guess you must sell too much product because you piss off people and don’t even give them an opportunity to spend their money in your store. This will definitely be the last time you even consider stepping into your relocation. You just lost a customer for life.
Impossible to get any service. I was there twice over the last 2 weeks, cash in hand, ready to spend >$1000, but could never get any help and had to walk out frustrated. The employees are nice but the store is understaffed and disorganized. There are clearly serious issues with management; this store will continue alienating customers and will go out of business if changes aren’t made fast. I for one will not be coming back anytime soon, I’d rather pay more at an indie than waste time here again.

Great family store and wonderful service i had my alto Saxophone repaired there and was also able to get all my accessories there too … The best in Concord California… In the Philippines right now and will be sure to be back there soon to say hello
Magnifica tienda de tesoros.
These guys were amazing. Didn’t have a major issue but the fact is they were nice and caring from the start. Brought in a Sax because a screw was lose on my son’s sax and I completely forgot where. Not only did they locate it, but fixed it for free. This is the type of small business I will always support and promote!
The store was better before Covid. It was all open and had a large selection. Now they have most of the store closed off and the lights aren’t all on. Call before you go to make sure they have what your looking for. The owners are knowledgeable.
Great place for kids in school music programs and musicians beyond that age.
I was happy until the saxophone broke 3 weeks after renting it. I thought We were getting an instrument in good shape but apparently it was not the case.
Also, the lady at the store is very nice until you ask them to expedite the repair process or question them why they take so long to fix the instrument that never should have broken in first time if it was inspected and sterilized not too long ago.
She was a rude on the phone and she just think that talking to my daughter’s teacher will solve any inconvenience. It does not, because my daughter can’t practice without the saxophone so the one that they should be concern is about my girl missing practice time and getting behind. Sad moment for a middle schooler

Deserves zero stars. Can’t go in the store. All they offer are a few junky used books outside. Only good as a walk up window if all you want is a box of reeds. I won’t be returning and won’t be recommending this dive. Go anywhere else.
Complete trash, terrible sevice. They don’t have a wide selection of books that actually matter when trying to become a great musician. Over priced on everything, buy everything online. They don’t know how to properly repair instruments. I took ina saxophone that I bought from them and they didn’t fix everything. I told them the pads were sticky and they didn’t fix them. Quality of the instruments they sell is extremely low. I wouldn’t recommend to people that actually care about creating music.
Cranky old man with no concept of customer service.
