Diamond in the rough. This place is a wellspring of music in this town. Kinda out of the way. But they have all the stuff you need for playing. Great service the owner is very knowledgeable. Good prices.
Quick response
These guys were very helpful and helped me with everything I needed. Gave me some awesome advice as well.Great music shop!!!
Ok
Cool small town music store
I bought strings here a few times.
Called just now to ask if they hard guitar technicians, got a “well yeah”. I asked if they could help me set a neck on a guitar kit i had bought, “I dont have time for that, i can do it, but i dont have time for that”. I can buy strings anywhere. Haha. Goodness. I dont have time for that.
Not much in store but friendly and helpful
Open just for certain customers, they are going out of business because everyone is using the web to buy. Alot of old vintage instruments in there.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend for anything musical…especially the ones that have every one else stumped.
Bill and Pam are great people. Mark does great work on gear. Love this place and the people in it. Just good folks. Also prices are great. Bill will work with ya just don’t BS him.
Good help they go the extra mile
Nice enough staff. Lots of good inventory.
Friendly people but kinda pricey
Had a hard time trying any of the basses or bass amps….nothing was even plugged in…..had to run extension cords all over the place . Then the basses and amps were so crowded could not move to even try the gear out. Didn’t feel like rerunning power to the whole department to try any other amps out. Shame would have tried more gear out….but just wasn’t expecting to hook it all up myself. Sorry guys you lost a sale….take ten minutes plug In couple bass amps everyday instead of sitting out smoking…..dude you know who you are….you shut the door on my wife as you went back in after your cig break….seriously….Shame store has potential
Unfriendly staff
Bought a brand new acoustic guitar here after years of using this store for my musical needs. The guitar wasnt staying in tune and i noticed the intonation was a little off as well. I took it back 4 days later and they offered me 100 bucks for it. It was brand new and i spend 400 on it and bought a 150 dollar case as well. Thats not the way you treat repeat customers. I will never be returning to this store again.
Hate it I could not find a clarinet ,:(

Absolutely genuine staff. So helpful, friendly, and prices are lower than their competitors. This is the best place to shop for all your music needs.
Very friendly staff & very helpful
Staff is always helpful whether by phone or in person. They have a great selection of Vic Firth drum sticks and Earthwood guitar strings, both my favorite, at reasonable prices.
They are very friendly and have good service. I believe they are high on their prices.
They had the components I needed and were very helpful.
It’s good quality music and instrument accessories but their a little costly
I showed them the kind of guitar strings I needed specifically not knowing entirely the name because they’re the experts right? I said I needed bullet strings for two fender guitars… they sold me a pack of “strings with the ball on the end” and when I opened the package they weren’t what I needed. A musical instrument store where the workers don’t know anything about musical instruments. Don’t waste your time or money or money, you’ll just be gaslit.
I bought a keyboard DGX-640 from this store which is cost $920. Then I realized the keyboard was not brand new and there was no box at all. Later, I did a research online, (Ebay, Amazon..etc.) and found that the original price was only $599 including everything. Most of the keyboards they are selling are not brand new at all. Be ware!

Great experience.
Good repair work

Love having a local music shop! These guys are knowledgeable and always have what we need in stock, whether that’s strings, cables, whatever!
What a great place and a great breath of fresh air for the fort Smith community musicians all around Ben is a great friend of mine super reliable quick to get your products and has a wide variety of drums and guitars I recommend Ben Jones for all your musical needs they have classes that you can take teachers that are available super great place and cheap prices
Good selection always getting in new gear and great prices. Excellent customer service as well
The people are great. Having a repair capability is surprising. Having both new and used equipment to purchase is nice. I will continue going back – even so, a few pieces (albeit they were used) have underperformed.
Ben and staff were very personable. It’s cool to be in a music store where you can look over the counter and see a guitar being built from scratch. They have a nice array of inexpensive instruments. They have the brand of guitar strings that I always had to go to guitar center (Fayetteville) and get. They have more than one gauge of banjo strings, and the knowledge to tell me why.
Absolutely will never do any business here again. I ask my wife to take something in for repair and the guy was rude, disrespectful, and a total jerk to her.
He had a guitar of mine for over a year and never got it fixed. Never communicated with me about anything. I had to always go to his store to find out what was going on.
Bought some gear. Didn’t use it. Asked if I could return it or get store credit. I had inadvertently put a cord in the wrong sleeve. Even though I had the receipt, which the guy wouldnt look at, He rudely accused me of being a crook trying to get a refund for merchandise I hadn’t bought there. The return policy is not posted, nor is it on the receipt, so I asked. Never been treated so inappropriately. Don’t recommend. Won’t return.

Very friendly and knowledgeable, great teacher, would definitely sit down and learn from him again!
Very good teacher for my daughter’s learning to play piano . Always encourages them and helps when they are having difficulties . They are learning very quickly and Gideon keeps challenging them to practice and play more difficult pieces of music . Very pleased with their progress in a short amount of time .
More vintage equipment in one spot that I’ve ever seen anywhere and really cool modern stuff as well
Been trusting Les for many years for reliable, pro services. Relocated to 384 East Sunbridge Drive May 2017
Awesome joint! So many vintage axes and amps! Really nice staff too!
I got a Fender blues Jr. amp fixed here last year and payed $60 for the work. A few weeks later the amp stopped working so I called the shop and the owner told me that they don’t guarantee their work. I took the amp to another store and spent another $60 to have it worked on again. Take care of your customers and they will come back.
It cool
