They have good teachers. For younger learners, good teachers inspire them.
Every kind of books and information that you need about musical instruments, you will be able to find.
Instructors are very nice and easy to work with
Friendly well-equipped music store. Needed a cheap harmonica for my class. The nice assistant found me just what I needed rather than try to sell me something expensive.
The worst place to buy a instrument they sold me a junk instrument for 1,000 when I went back with receipt they gave me run around and would not take it back
The older man isnt very welcoming. However there was a nicer younger man.

They do the installation quick for a reasonable price, I definitely recommend these guys
I don’t know bout this place lol but the filipino guy that’s working the front desk suckers you into buying their stuff lmao j/k . . anyways this is the best place ever and the only place i would go for my car audio why do you think i gave it a five star rating ! But on a serious note they are very good and know what they are talking about so go in and check it out you won’t be disappointed !
These guys are absolutely awesome! Super knowledgeable about the products. I had recently purchased a new car and wanted someone to really take care with my installation. They recommended the right products at a great price, and had my installation of a new amp and subs in under an hour! Talk to Hussein, he will not steer you wrong.
Nice service, helped me to install a sound system into my classic beetle at a reasonable cost. And did it all within an hour too!
Stereo install was done okay. This is during covid so keep that in mind. My Android auto would cut in and out due to a loose USB cable I think. There are other issues I’d rather communicate with them directly. I like them a lot but this wasn’t a pleasant experience.
I installed a subwoofer and a new deck. Was very pleased with the service and with the price. Work was done very fast. Overall pleased and would recommend this place.
I am very unhappy with the outcome of my installation. I have taken my car back because of problems with my installation over three-times and I am still having an error come up on my radio. Now that I have spent all this money I am ready to take my car somewhere else to have the problem they created fixed. More money to fix the problem they created that I shouldn’t have to spend… SMH
Be weary of prices. They give you a decent price for a unit but installation will be more than the unit. For me, it was about four hundred for the unit and over six hundred for the installation.
It was all good they took me in right away which was great. I paid $150 for a dash cam to be hooked up to my fuse box to power up even when the car is parked. I provided all the hardware and explained what needed to get done and they didn’t do it correctly. That was the point of paying so much money… not to just get the cables tucked in. Their solution was to return the money and uninstall whatever mess they made. What about my time wasted? What about sorry sir, we will see what we can do… anyways this was a waste of time all over the place. Avoid this place!!! Go with bigger and more professional guys. Avoid!!!
Real pleasure to do business with. Mike came highly recommended by my saxophone instructor. He restored this 1962 Selmer Mark VI back to excellent playing condition and custom built this fantastic carbon fiber case. Could not be happier!
Mike is one of the best instrument repair technicians in the SF Bay Area. I have been going to him for over 5 years. He is able to see everything going on with your instrument quickly, and give you options for what repairs should be done or need to be done. Prices are always reasonable and worth it. His work leaves your instrument feeling better than new.
The Manning Custom cases are the best cases for your instruments in the world. No exaggeration, he is way ahead of all competitors, and even though he has been for years, he continues to work to make improvements. There have been copycats coming in and trying to replicate his work, which I think shows how desirable his cases are. However, he recently came out with a completely redesigned tenor sax case which has a number of new innovations to make it stronger, lighter, more functional, and even better looking than ever, leaving the copycats in the dust yet again. I have been very pleased with it, as I just received mine a few weeks ago.
And if you are not a saxophone player or woodwind player, don’t think you are left out. The cases are made custom, and he has plenty of options for case shapes and sizes. He can fit any instrument or combination of instruments you have. Just call or message and ask him about what you want or need, and he can almost certainly get it done.
Great! Michael is a master at his craft and a pleasure to do business with.

Our son started with Ms. Choi in September last year, at the age of 5. Less than a year into his lessons with her, he has developed a love for music, an understanding of rhythm and a preliminary understanding of notes. He is quite shy but for some reason is very open and playful with her. What we really liked about Ms. Choi’s classes is that she is very patient with him (and us) and takes the time to build up technique (sight-reading, using the right finger position) rather than just having him learn the piece and play it by rote. Her monthly group performance sessions along with the summer/spring recitals have helped him overcome his stage fright and he often wants to be the 1st to play now! Ms. Choi is also very accommodating, even conducting classes remotely when we were on an extended vacation.
UPDATE: its now been 2.5 years and our son can now entertain guests with his piano skills. Not only is he not shy, he would look forward to playing piano if we see one somewhere. We all know how learning an instrument can get mundane / difficult after a while. Happy to say that the way Mrs. Choi sets her classes and gives motivation to the students – our son looks forward to playing the piano more today than what he did 2 years back.
We absolutely loved Ms. Candice’s classes! She kept them very interactive and engaging. She creatively combined elements of STEM and music to create a unique experience different from anything our son has ever done before. Our 5 year old looks forward to another camp with her!

Musicians in the Making is just an AMAZING school. My 6 year old daughter had never played an instrument before and started with Musicians in the making more than 6 months back. And she has progressed so much. Ms. Christina has been absolutely amazing. Even though the classes are remote, she makes the class enjoyable with her upbeat and engaging personality, which is really tough for a 6 year old 🙂
Ms. Candice has created a program which is extremely well planned and balanced for kids. In addition to the weekly classes, she has periodic group classes, occasional guest musicians that talk to students about creating and playing with music, managing performance jitters n so much more. And I cannot forget the periodic recitals, which gives all students such a supportive environment to showcase their hardwork and also learn from their peers. Its truely a ‘Musicians in the making’ program and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for such a program for their budding musicians

Lorenzo is an amazing musician and has wonderful patients for the beginning student. He has made me feel so much more confident picking up my instruments and improvising as well as exploring new drum beats and tones on the electric guitar. I cannot recommend him enough! He is great and you will not be disappointed with your time spent in his studio or online lessons.
My child had a terrific experience learning to play guitar and bass with Lorenzo from their very first lesson until they went off to college. Lorenzo was able to inspire learning & progression while not overwhelming. He is reliable and offers a great experience for those wanting to play music!
This place is awesome! Lorenzo is the best music teacher and there is no downside at this place! percent fun and teaching
Justin, our saxophonist, added an incredible touch to our wedding, creating an atmosphere of elegance and charm during the cocktail hour and amping up the party on the dance floor. Justin’s talent and professionalism were evident, and his music was a highlight of our celebration. We’re grateful for the unforgettable ambiance he provided, making our day even more special. Highly recommend Justin for anyone seeking a skilled and charismatic saxophonist to take your dance floor to the next level!

Went in there about an hour before it closed…. just sort of fumbled around looking at various things…. they got some good stuff in here…. it’s a nice little shop for anyone who lives out here on the coastal peninsula who doesn’t want to drive all the way to San Mateo or San fransico for a guitar center
Need a guitar tune up & clean up, or fixing a broken sound? This is your place. John, the guitar tech wizard, only works Thursday-Saturday, but he made it through a huge list ahead of me in just 2 days.
I don’t know much about the technicalities of guitars, but I knew my electric Ibanez sounded wrong. I brought it in to John for the axe’s first check up in nearly 10 years. It needed fretwork on 1-3, new battery for the pickups, new strings, tuning the tuners, adjusting everything, and deep cleaning the hell out of it. I literally walked out of there with a brand new guitar. It sounds so insanely good, I cannot believe what ive been missing all these years.
Best part? He said all of that would only be $80 plus tax. But he only charged me $70 John, Jim, and manor music are great people.
It has everything I need for the budding guitarist in me. The staff is friendly and helpful.
This weekend I came into Manor to pick up some sheet music for inspiration. I picked up a few older books from the back of the store, and I was surprised that they charged the original cover print price (~$20 per book) on books printed in 1995.. I should have spoken up at the time, but the more I thought about it the more I wanted to know if this was a mistake? !
I got great personal attention. David answered a lot of my questions both on the phone and in the store for a rental saxaphone for my 9 year old nephew.
Store has new and used equipment for sale or rent. Rental equipment is much more reasonable than Serramonte music center.
Nice little place. When we visited, the person working didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the instruments. But the store itself was very cute
Terrible attitude. Not helpful. Never go back again!
