Anita and her staff are very knowledgeable and helpful
Today my husband and I went here to find two beginner guitars as we are picking this up as a hobby together. The man working, I’m assuming this was the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful. He helped us pick two guitars perfect for our needs and threw in a deal for 2 cases as well. He even gave us several free picks to use. On our way out, he mentioned letting us know how everything goes which was very sweet! Highly recommend for all your musical needs.
I have been shopping there since 1983. Still do.
My kids love it.
the back door of the place uses a guitar mounted on the ceiling as a door chime. its the coolest door chime idea ive ever seen.
Pretty cool spot in Fairbanks for guitars bit many basses but friendly staff and close to everything.
Not impressed by their customer service, although I did get what I needed done, thus the 2 stars. I’ve been a few times over a period of 7 years and both times they were rude. I’ve also known people who have said they were rude. I’ll try Pro Music next time perhaps.
I came in with my dad to look at guitars and to ask a price on his old banjo. I know my instruments and how to find the correct prices on used items. The lady who helped us, gave us the correct price, but she was talking down to us the whole time. I have never seen my dad treated so rudely.
Expensive
3. Pro Music
Address: 300 Front St, Fairbanks, AK 99701 , Deltana , Alaska , United States
High quality guitar shop. They have an amazing selection of fender and Jackson guitars. By far the best guitar shop in the interior.. Amazing service very kimd.
Sometimes you can find people performing live there. It’s a music miracle store.
I have done business with Pro Music for years and they really know their stuff. Craig is the owner and I trust him completely. He is most knowledgeable person I know about musical gear and always gives me the straight answer even if it means buying from some place else. You cannot miss with Craig and Pro Music.
Good selection of mining equipment and friendly helpful employees, never bought music supplies. The owner is unfortunately both rude and condescending. Additionally, the prices on smaller items (pans, screens, matting) is extremely inflated. You can get the exact same stuff on eBay or Amazon for a fraction of the price even if you have to pay shipping to Alaska. It is a shame that a local store is so inattentive to customer service that we have to turn to online stores for mining supplies.

Great country fair. Live music for our delicious Lion’s group breakfast. Animals for grandkids to uuh and aah over. Great displays of vegetables, school projects, art, photography, food,, and flowers. Had great family time. Grand kids love playground, too!!
Very Alaskana and what a fair is about – children friendly
Love
The fairgrounds have grown up quite a bit since their 1980s acquisition. It’s a pretty good fair. The stages with a variety of musicians over the three days is the most fun!
Really nice small town fair during the last weekend in July
