The people who work here are great they’re friendly and helpful! Check it out if you get a chance.
Super nice mother/son duo running the shop, and in awesome fashion. They’ve got just about everything, and in immaculate condition. Thanks for being a music haven in these mountains. Love your shop.
This is my favourite record store. TONS of records and always super friendly.
This place has a “your best friend’s basement” vibe, if your best friend is an audiophile. You feel welcome when you enter which is good because you’re going to spend some time in here. Stacks and stack to comb through in a warm environment.
Conan comics!
Not very customer friendly
I asked about certain comics and was basically denied because they were “too expensive “
And was referred to the “affordable “ box
He kept bragging about the amount of comics he had stocked in the back and wouldn’t even let me and my brother look at them
The store was extremely cluttered and unorganized.
I would not recommend shopping here what so ever
I walked into this little comic shop and I was definitely excited to see the number of comic books they had available. The guy who handles the comics there asked what I was looking for and I told him. At which point he went to the back to browse through his piles and piles of books to find what I had told him I was in search of. After locating some of the books I wanted/needed, he proceeded to pull up eBay for the current prices that the books were being sold for. Needless to say, my excitement quickly subsided. IF I WANTED TO SHOP ON EBAY, I’D DO IT FROM THE COMFORT OF MY OWN HOME! The guy who handles the comics clearly doesn’t realize the point of going into a LCS; which is to find those HTF/Rare/Unique hidden gems. Anybody can pay top dollar for those books, they simply need to do exactly what he did…go online! Now if the “Jonah Hill in 40 Year Old Virgin” moment wasn’t bad enough, I decided to ask about some modern issues that I needed and would be willing to pay cover for. After looking through about 1 and a half stacks of books (maybe 100 or so comics), the guy says to me “oh, those are in storage”…..for every book I bring up after. Storage being that back room and according to him, 500k books upstairs. I don’t doubt he has that many up there, seeing as how he’s asking top dollar for every book and it’s apparently too much effort to go into the back room or upstairs to locate what the customer is asking for. I was prepared to look through his collection and spend an absurd amount of money when I walked in there, but in the end, I paid him $20 for about 5 cover price moderns. My guess is the 4.9 stars this place currently has must be based on the vinyl part of the store (which did look impressive), but as far as the comic book section goes, stay home, sit in your favorite recliner, kick your feet up, crack a beer, pull up eBay and shop to your hearts content. It sure as hell beats driving to Minturn, CO for what I experienced. You ever even heard of Minturn!? Yeah, me neither, and I’m from Colorado!

I had the pleasure of listening to Nick play at the Red Lion last week. WOW! Amazing musician, very versatile but really delivered with a shine when playing some of the folk / classic rock stuff. I threw him a few curve ball requests, all which were delivered with grace and passion. Keep it up, mate! Hope to see you around when we visit Vail again.
Killed it at our wedding, they had everyone dancing all night!
I first saw Jonny Mogambo perform in Vail, Co in 2010. Following that first performance, every time my friends and I visited Vail we made it a point to find where Jonny was playing and we tried to see him as many times as possible during our visits. In 2015 we had Jonny come to North Carolina and play at our private party. Jonny is extremely professional and the preparation he puts in prior to a performance is amazing. Since 2015 Jonny has been to North Carolina 3 more times to play at our private parties. My Brother in Law is one of my ski buddies. He had Jonny play at my nieces wedding and reception. The music during the wedding and reception was very exceptional.
I am going to be in Vail on vacation again this winter. I will find where Jonny is playing because it is the best entertainment in the Vail Valley. Also anytime I need good entertainment in North Carolina, Jonny is always my first choice.
Jonny added the extra special touch I wanted for my son’s Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party. His open communication guided me along the way in my planning from across the country. Jonny provided me with a HUGE list of songs to choose from. He then took my list and organized our songs to match each part of the ceremony…cocktail hour, quiet dinner, more upbeat tunes for the guest arriving after dinner. The out of town (and more local) guest truly enjoyed his performance. I’m so pleased that I was introduced to Jonny Mogambo when I was visiting Vail in prep for my son’s wedding.
Such a nice place. The concerts are so intimate and personal. Love it.
This venue is incredible!! The acoustics, the wall to wall guitars, and the comfortable theater seats. Great place to see local musicians leaving it all on stage. Also able to meet Steve, and he is a genuinely beautiful soul with a passion to share this space and enjoy good music. Our little mountain town is lucky to have this venue, what a gem.
So much amazing music in the most intimate venue ever. It’s all about the music.
Intimate venue blanketed in an eclectic collection of guitars. Great for solo or small acts to play in, especially warm acoustics.
Intimate, beautiful guitar display. Fun nice place to get to know musicians upclose. Byob.
It’s ok
This place chronically doesn’t pay their musicians who play there. 50% cut of door sales?? No response when folks try to collect their earnings?? Support local music – not this place.

Great breakfast burritos and overall awesome vibes
The best capucino i had in years.very nice place to enjoy your coffee and fall mornings
Very good Eggy Bagel and croissant. Ok Americano (get three shots if you want to taste the espresso). Appreciate that they were open on July 4th and the two women working there were efficiently getting through a bunch of orders.
Super cute cafe
I ordered the vegan chorizo burrito. For $10.50 plus tax, I was expecting more than a pre-packaged burrito heated up in a microwave. The interior filling was lava hot (seriously, straight out of a Jim Gaffigan Hot Pockets bit). The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff friendly and helpful, boosting my overall rating from 2 to 3 stars.
When I walked into this coffee shop the vibes were good! I then, however, approached the counter and noticed that one of the girls (Blonde, pretty) making the food was making rude comments about people’s order and called my order “basic” as she rolled her eyes. I’m super annoyed as this was my first time visiting this restaurant and bad service will always make me never come back. Shout out to the other blonde girl that was SO sweet. She slightly made up for the rudeness I witnessed from the other girl. Bring mean is NEVER a trend especially in the service industry!
I don’t normally go here and today realized why… every other coffee shop in town only charges a dollar for a coffee refill. Yeti’s charges $2.61 and the coffee isn’t even that good. Unfortunate because the atmosphere is good here, just expensive mediocre coffee though.
One star for Friendly and attentive service. Product was disgusting. My $8 breakfast everything bagel looked like it had been compressed by a truck tire. Bagel was burnt. Egg tasted powdery and was dry. The cook skimped on the butter. The entire sandwich was tasteless. I threw it out after two bites and headed home for a real flavor. Saddest part was the place was dead.

Really nice music store with more instrument variety than guitar center
They were so amazing with helping me pick out a guitar and ukulele for my boyfriend and son. I will definitely do more shopping for instruments here in the future
Very helpful staff. Took my kids in yo look at some guitars, and the guys let them plug them in and play. Very cool!
Guess you’re not open until 6pm…
Nice store!
Extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful shop. They added a additional area January 2019 ish with a great guitar room and piano area.
Not Very NIce or knowledgeable.Been in there several times to pick up strings or picks stuff i needed for that day. and it seemed liked they didn’t have time for me or my questions. Its a bummer because I own a live sound company and it would be nice to pick up all my supplies from a local store.
Very disrespectful people. I hate spending my money there but it’s the only local music store 🙁
I took my guitar in to sell on consignment. I was told I would be called when it sold. After 2 weeks I called to see if it sold. I was then told it had sold the week before but I never was called by the owner. When I went in to get my portion of the money, the owner was very standoffish and if he had been a bit more approachable I would have told him how he never called me to tell me it sold. Luckily I won’t have any reason to go back there for any reason!
11. Glenwood Music Inc
Address: 715 Cooper Ave, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 , Eagle County , Colorado , United States
The most relaxed guitar shop ever. No pressure. Just enjoy being around quality pieces, and fellow guitar enthusiasts, and scope out a nice selection of vinyl. If you’re lucky, there may even be a puppy or two to pet…
Place is amazing
Amazing showroom! Great people and guitars. Greatest semi-hollows you can get!
Beautiful guitars! Walking into the store, you see the beautiful guitars and equipment out and ready to play. The staff here was nice and welcoming. Sadly, I’ve bought too many guitars in my life and couldn’t get another for the guitar’s sake. If, in the future, I ever want to buy another (for some reason), this is probably going to be the first place I look. Overall, I absolutely recommend these guitars for their good prices and amazing craftsmanship.
8/10
Great find- been playing guitars for decades and happened to stumble across this store.
Very impressed with the guitars and the showroom.
The store manager was very helpful and explained the brand in detail to my friend who accompanied me. He was knowledgeable, friendly and NOT pushy.
Def felt comfortable inside the store with their couches. Place was well appointed and very clean and tidy!
The guitars seemed well built and had great action and time.
Def considering this brand when I’m ready to increase the guitar herd.
