Thrilled and inspired at playing a Steinway Grand! Dunkleys, you’re the best! Thank you for welcoming our three young music students to play on the Steinway Grand. Unforgettable memory
Lisa is amazing! I had an emergency with my flute and she worked me in quickly, fixed it, and it played beautifully. Lisa pays attention to every detail and I completely trust her to repair my flute. I will never take my flute to anyone else. Lisa is the best!
Dunkley Music is off-the-chart awesome in my book. Here’s why:
1. Service. I left an instrument at home when I packed to drive down to a gig in Logan, Utah. Yes, you read correctly, I FORGOT MY INSTRUMENT (and I’m a band director, btw)! I realized this when passing Boise, and immediately went to Dunkley. I was able to rent a nice Yamaha model 450 clarinet to take to my gig–à concert band gig, and I played a 3rd clarinet part. I brought it back on the way back home and saw the cool digital pianos in stock.
2. Service (and selection). Dunkley has always had a good reputation as a piano dealer. They did not disappoint in this area.
3. Robert Hatvani works there as a teacher. Incredible musician and teacher, and his music is first-rate.
You will be treated well at Dunkley Music!
I have bought a Kawai CN25 from Marion in a total of sale price of 600 plus 13 month renting period. Ends up with about 1645 U.S dollar. I am really happy with what I’ve purchased. And Marion is very nice on settling the deals with me.
Back when Dunkley’s was in-town in Boise, I was an avid customer…they always have been professional and friendly all-in-one! They still are.
All of my musical equipment, specifically my violin and flute for school orchestra/band, came from here. And I am impressed with it nowadays!
GOOO Dunkley Music!!!
I enjoy DM very much. It’s so much fun to look around to see all the instruments they have in-store. They had the gift I was looking for (and then some). Someday, I’ll take those violin lessons. For now, I’m saving up to get myself that keyboard bench.
Pooor customer service , employees standing around and acted like we were bothering them to serve us
I took my guitar to Dunkley Music to repair its broken bridge. A week passed without so much as a phone call or e-mail to give me an estimate for the work. I stopped in and an employee told me that they intended to give my guitar to an independent tech to fix it. Fine; no worries. Four weeks passed. FOUR WEEKS. No phone call, no e-mail. I finally returned to the store to get my guitar. A different employee greeted me and retrieved my guitar from among a dozen or so others, which were no doubt collecting dust while not being worked on. She said, “Let’s take a look and see that the work has been completed.” Shocker: it hadn’t. I told her that they had had five weeks now to at least take a look at it and give me an estimate. The fact that they hadn’t was a sure sign that they didn’t give a damn about me, my guitar, or my business. I would call the service terrible, but “non-existent” is a better descriptor.
Staff have very poor customer service skills, their attitude was down right rude. My issue was not resolved- despite being a customer for 8 years. It seems loyalty no longer matters to Mark Dunkley.
Best wishes to you.

Great local coffeehouse for snacks and drinks. The seasonal offerings are a bit more unique than the run-of-the mill coffee place.
The “Cheers” of local coffee. Friendly service.
The coffee shop is great….but Dawson’s creek coffee is awful…
Now that Rembrandt’s is no longer an option, we go here instead. Nice little place, but I wish they would add a few more food items.
Been a few times now, good food, coffee and atmosphere. A bit chilly on the A/C with fall here and music can be turned up a notch. With accoustics, hearing others conversations. But comfy seating, inside or out. Nice staff. I’ll be back.
We were out of towners and were recommended this spot from a friend. We love coffee so we were excited to tasted the local brew. The americano coffee that I ordered tasted like sour water. When I came back in to let them know, there was no offer on remaking the drink. I had to ask for a cup so I can at least get a house coffee. Then the house coffee was also a disappointment. There were hints of fruit but barely noticeable because again it tasted watered down. I do not recommend this spot for their lack of quality and customer service.
All three of us did not like our coffee. Shame.
Terrible coffee. Coffee was barely warm and they ran out of dark roast plus cream. No smiles, no greeting, no decently priced pastries available. Who’s giving these glowing reviews??

Address: 50 E State St, Eagle, ID 83616 , Eagle , Idaho , United States
Very friendly people working here.
Live music. Full bar and coffee drinks.
Had a great time at OSS!!!!!! Staff was incredible! Fast to take orders and keep our table clean. Love the atmosphere and great add with the pool table!
Pleasant atmosphere, ample seating & great selection of wine & beer! Friendly service, live music. Fun place to hang out
Very fun place to go dancing. Generator Saints were good, but the music was really loud.
Nice selection of beers on tap
Pretty cool place, live music good crowd.
The one thing that I didn’t like is you have to walk up to the bar for service.
After enjoying two cocktails, I was cut off. I observed more than 3 new patrons who have consumed double what I had intaked at the time, continue to be served drinks. I’m questioning the management of this establishment. I get it your trying to create something different, but the reality is you took the best hole in the wall of Eagle and are trying to do something else. GOOD LUCK. I can’t wait to see you struggle and turn your back on patrons in this community with your double standard…
Small tasteless portions.
Our order consisted of water, a burger with tots, and fish n chips. Total over $38.00!
We will not be back.
Will not recommend.
See last post, Used to be the gathering place , one pool table.
Haven’t been back.

What an outstanding establishment! They knocked it out of the park with this lounge!
Best espresso martini ever! Service is impeccable! Drinks are well poured. Macy makes the best drinks and totally love her personality! There is such a great friendly atmosphere. Located behind Rice. It’s a hidden gem! Highly recommend! Oh I forgot, it’s a cigar bar too. Don’t know which cigar to choose? Check in with John, he is a tobacconist on site! Need I say more?
Excellent atmosphere, kind service, beautiful humidor with good selection of high end cigars. Bar is stunning, cocktail menu is well crafted. Good bourbon selection. Great place to unwind after a long day, or to have cocktails and a stick with friends.

My favorite Guitar store in Idaho. Great prices awesome selection and super knowledgeable Owner ….
Always one of my favorite stops when we are in the area! Great service and best price around on quality guitars.
Locally owned, friendly and informative staff, house made cables! Authorized Orange dealer. Does I mention they aren’t Guitar Center, ’cause that’s very important, BUY LOCAL!
On 4/20/21 at 11:30, I visited this shop. I had previously visited five times in the past year. I had an old Gene Autry cowboy guitar repaired there and I purchased an acoustic Guild at this shop. I have also purchased strings at this shop. I like to support local businesses. My prior visits were pleasant enough.
This visit was the exact opposite. I arrived to see what inventory they had. I was looking for a second electric guitar with a thicker neck profile and humbuckers. I have arthritis and I need a thicker neck. I didn’t recognize the individual behind the counter. A customer was strumming on a guitar in the middle of the floor. The individual behind the counter asked me what I was looking for. He was handling something and never looked up or made eye contact or attempted to greet me. His demeanor was terrible. I told him I was looking for a guitar with a thicker neck and humbuckers. I told him I was interested in an Epiphone Wilshire type guitar. I was about to explain that it has a thicker neck profile and ask if he had any similar style of guitar. Before I could complete my sentence, he cut me off and stated that he doesn’t like Epiphone. I explained that I had purchased a Guild from the shop. I was thinking he would be more interested in helping me but his attitude remained less than friendly! I walk around and looked at some of the guitars. They actually and an Epiphone on display. He never asked me another question or made any suggestions or recommendations.
You can be a great guitarist. You can be a great luthier. That doesn’t mean you have any customer service skills. I had cash and was ready to buy but I walked out. It’s regrettable that this individual is behind the counter. I wonder how many other potential customers he has turned off?
I guess I’ll drive further to GC or order online.
Called shop to see how much a set up would be, person on other side of phone seemed to rush the conversation and hung up before I could ask another question. Fairly rude and didn’t care.
The owner is a total jerk! Who do you think you are? My son works 2 jobs and sometimes 3 with side jobs. He is about to be a new dad and is building a guitar. You told him you know kids his age don’t like to work so he should get a job so he could buy-something???? He has several guitars and I joined him to check out your shop. I have 25 hard earned guitars and would never spend a penny at your lame store, you don’t deserve our money 0 stars if possible. Learn some customer service your attitude is unbelievable
13. Welch Music Center
Address: 12516 Fairview Ave, Boise, ID 83713 , Eagle , Idaho , United States
Lanny is so knowledgeable and patient. I’d recommend this store to anyone. The shop is so clean and well-kept too.
In my opinion Welsh Music Center piano professionals are the best in Boise, a cut above all others. I’m totally satisfied and can with the fullest confidence highly recommend Welsh Music Center to all music lovers.
Extremely helpful, personable and knowledgeable staff.
Mediocre selection. Disinterested staff. No masks.
It apparently takes them 3 days just to put on 4 strings on a violin. Cool and pretty stuff just I think their taking their own time.
General music store. Several Baby Grand pianos, a limited number of guitar brands, sheet music, and a few accessories.
I called them to replace the hair bow of my violin and the strings they said they can do it. When I visited them they Saud they can’t replace the hair bow but only the strings so I had to to another music shop.
RENTER BEWARE! Insurance on rented instruments does not cover accidental damage. You are better off going to Dunkley and renting – their insurance DOES cover accidental damage. We found out the hard way and were first told that the insurance would cover the damage, then told it would not, and we were treated very rudely by the old guy who works there – I don’t think he can have a conversation without interrupting.
Rented a cello. The gave me student cello. Didn’t want to add note stickers on but gave me a pack for 8.00. This was the worst instrument I have ever seen. It could not be tuned. And the sound was pretty bad. I took it back in 3 days asked for a refund to which I received a prompt NO. Then I said to the man at the counter if you give this cello to a kid it’s going to turn him or her off to playing it. I imagined he would say I will take a look at it. But instead he came out swinging and proceeded to tell me off. I felt upset and hurt somewhat when I left. Went to Dunkley music they have better instruments and kinder people working there. They offered to add the stickers on without me asking. That was an easy 70.00 for Welch!
A great product with a great price, plus some great service on top. Superb in every way, have no doubts about doing more business in the future!
Very good business. Was wanting a high end acoustic guitar and Nick convinced me on this Taylor 414ce LTD Sinker Redwood. Descriptions were very accurate, pictures were great. Guitar came in on time. Everything was perfect.
Great guy to work with. He was fast at communicating, when there was an issue with shipping logistics he called me asap to discuss how to best solve the problem, and worked with me to make sure I was happy with my instrument.
He seems genuinely dedicated to making sure you’re pleased with your business interaction. It is also apparent that he has a passion for these instruments, which made it fun to talk with him.

Great music shop! We have both purchased and rented instruments through Dorsey. We are always happy with the service and the products! They have a nice selection and are definitely worth checking out.
Brandon was awesome, thank you for taking the time with me!
Awesome staff they are very helpful, and I like purchasing from a more local company.
I’ve taken my Fender Acoustasonic in for some maintenance and these folks have done an amazing job troubleshooting a difficult problem and fixing it for me. I highly recommend this store for all your guitar work.
Really neat shop. I enjoy looking around and seeing all the cool instruments. The staff was pretty helpful and finding what you need.
People very friendly and patient with novice would-be musician.
Kind of rude to beginning musicians. If you want to go somewhere employees make you feel stupid then this is your place.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a salesman. In this kind of an economy they do not have the right to cut a students instrument down and make them feel like they have to buy their instruments. I had just bought my daughter a Buffet Crampon Clarinet that was used and she hadn’t had it for more than an hour and showed the salesman at their booth. He proceeded to tell her what was wrong with it and how his instrument was so much better. My daughter was proud of the clarinet until your salesman talked to her, now she hates it and is thinking about quitting band. It is a said society when you have to insult a kid to get a sale. Thanks for ruining a good thing.
Won’t come here again!!!!
I came in to see if I could rent a couple instruments for my kids was told I had to do a credit application to be able to rent. After filling out the application I waited while the older gentleman with glasses proceeded to run my credit. Within a few minutes he can out and begin to lecture me in front of my kids about basically wasting their money with the check because my credit is not the greatest. He then added that I should have let him know about my credit issues, because most have to pay $7-8 bucks a report and letting them know is a courtesy. I was embarrassed, my kids were upset and my husband was mad. The guy then told us we could buy from them just not rent.
18. Coffee and Supply Co.
Address: 36 N Echohawk Way Unit 101 B, Eagle, ID 83616 , Eagle , Idaho , United States
Great Coffee! Wonderful localy grown atmosphere . Nicest Barista’s in the world.
5 stars all around! My go to’s: Cold brew. Sausage burrito. Cappuccino. Avo toast. The best! Thanks C&S team.
Great local shop! Wonderful hibiscus tea. Great local things to buy (salsa matcha, sweets, even local eggs!)
Not sure about this place yet. I’ve been there once. Seemed like a good place. The latte I had was good. Service seemed good. Want to visit 2 or 3 more times to check consistency before I jump it to a 5 star rating. If the next couple of times everything goes as it did the first time then I will increase the rating. The only downside so far is that you can’t get a hot 20 oz latte. 16 is the largest. ☕
Stopped in on opening day, always excited for new coffee shops! Service was good despite being busy and loved the ambience inside. They did a great job building out the space! Top quality coffee, but didn’t try any food as it was above comfortable price level for me. Will expand on review once we visit again, would be higher now except for very rude customers we waited in line with. No masks, brought dogs inside and were very noisy. Not fault of management I know, but would have been nice for someone to have asked them to be more respectful.
I really liked this place. Coffee was yummy and the shop was clean and busy with customers enjoying their treats. Staff was friendly too.
No visible pricing on menu.
Parking: Easy parking
Beware. They don’t have drip coffee after 2pm.
Horribly under-roasted, over-priced coffee. This place is no bueno. I would check out Rembrandt’s – it’s only like a mile away. This is all just my opinion.
The workers are really great and kind. Work hard and fast. Nice McDonald’s.
Features: None.
Very slow guy put my meal in ago ba
g when I was dining out
This drive thru is a little cramped for the amount of people that come through here. Speed was adequate considering how busy they were. The food is pretty much what you’d expect from McDonald’s.
Its fast food
Absolutely unacceptable. I just spent 15 minutes in the drive through, only to have my order messed up. They forgot my fries, and my sauce for the nuggets. They need to figure it out!!!! And stale fries taste wonderful!!!
Lobby is depressing and impersonal. I do not like ordering from a kiosk and then standing around staring at Grey depressing paint on the inside.
