Great expertise and enthusiasm. Had everything we needed. Highly recommended.
Randy Kemp is a true professional in the music industry, and his expertise spans the gamut: theory, composition, live performance, production, engineering, and lessons.
I’ve known Mr. Kemp since 2000 and he never ceases to impress me. I can’t recommend Main Street Music enough.
3. Prelude Music Center LLC
Address: 100 Corporate Dr UNIT A101, Trumbull, CT 06611 , Easton , Connecticut , United States
We are very grateful for Prelude Music Center’s invaluable expert advice on selecting the right piano that fits our family needs perfectly. We are also very satisfied with the complimentary tuning service of the piano technician who is not only professional and knowledgeable, but also meticulous in handling our piano. Moreover, they took all the trouble to answer all sorts of questions relating to the piano maintenance. All in all, we are very satisfied with the exceptional quality of the pianos and the service of Prelude Music Center and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
When it comes to customer service, technical know-how, and offering quality products and services, the guys at Prelude Music Center are at the top of the list. Jonathan Brittin is an exceptional piano tuner (and a really nice person!) and has repeatedly gone over and above to give his clients and customers what they need. If you’re in the market for a new or used piano, or need to have yours tuned, moved or even stored for a time, you will not be sorry you contacted Prelude Music Center.
Wonderful customer service and we love our piano.
4. Creative Music Center
Address: 701 Main St, Monroe, CT 06468 , Easton , Connecticut , United States
My daughter loves her piano lessons at Creative Music Center.
Nice music store in Monroe, we bought a cute ukulele here!
Awesome staff and great deals! No surprise they have 5 stars!!!
Rude. Terrible service. man had no knowlege of his products and prices were too high
Terrible, definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone in this planet or another. I originally paid through Groupon just to see if the classes worked out for my son. I paid for 45 mins and they only gave me 30mins classes for my son ,that should of been the 1st red flag. But then they make you sign a paper and they ask you to put a credit card info even though I paid for the 1st month in full. So we tried that 1st month and decided it wasn’t for my son,he didn’t like it.so then I thought I was done with this establishment and they kept charging me even though I was done with them clearly, scammers.terrible customer service!
Came here with my son they were very rude to my son and not very knowledgeable… wouldn’t come back here again and don’t recommend it.
5. Turnpike Music Garage
Address: 1485 Black Rock Tpke, Fairfield, CT 06825 , Easton , Connecticut , United States
Friendly staff and good price for instrument rentals.
My son has been taking guitar lessons with Don. He has been introduced to many artists and looks forward to his lessons. We chose the Music Garage because we wanted our son to learn the basics and build a foundation for playing guitar.
A little hard to find, but owner was very helpful in my search for a solid-woods Classical guitar. Looked at a very nice A/Yari. Has some nice guitars, but he is limited by space constraints. If the f-ups in Washington and the greedy sob’s on Wall St would all drop dead, this store would have a good chance of growing.
Had an excellent selection of strings. Plan on visiting again soon.
I got My sons cello at this store and the bridge was broken and the stand
6. Melody Music Studios (Music Lessons In-Home or Studio)
It is never too late to learn to play guitar, I am proof of that! With the knowledge of just a few chords, you can play most any song. Give the gift of music to your children or your retired parents….. or yourself! Thank you Packham Music !
Wonderful repair work!
I was verbally related by owner Greg Packham for my religious and political views. Packham music is one of the reasons why peoe have stopped supporting mom and pop businesses because as the customer we are not respected.
This is the worst music store i have ever been to. My daughter, R, decided to start viola for her school orchestra and he gave us a stand that was open and broken. Afterwards, he gave us a viola that couldn’t be tuned and the bow broke before she even touched it, when we brought up the problem to him he was ignorant and said that he wouldn’t buy good quality instruments for the kids because he knew that they would give up fast, then continued to say that R was a perfect example of it because we had to give back the instrument, say that she quit. We were made to pay a fee for the bow. We went to Music and Arts instead. Never returning here.

Staff is friendly and helpful! Bought a used violin for my granddaughter, brought it back to trade it in, was given a fair trade in price, will be picking out a new used one!
Thanks to Sarah, I was able to get a mouthpiece while being 2.5 hours away from home on a gig where I left my mouthpiece pouch. Came through in the clutch for me with a shew lead piece.

19. Faust Harrison Pianos
Address: 322 Black Rock Tpke, Fairfield, CT 06825 , Easton , Connecticut , United States
Wonderful experience buying our first piano. Steve was knowledgeable, patient and very informative. He knew his pianos. I would highly recommend coming here whether you are an experienced pianist or a beginner.
Steve was superb to work with. Highly knowledgeable, accommodating, and patient as we had many questions and it took several visits to make our decision. We never felt pressured by him and encouraged us to get as much information and take the time we needed. He was very responsive and followed up at each step of the selection, purchase and delivery process.
If you are in the market for a piano and want to work with an extremely knowledgeable and customer service oriented professional, then you MUST go to Faust Harrison Piano in Fairfield. Erica Feidner, sales manager, is all that and more! I contacted Faust Harrison after reading fantastic reviews on-line. My decision to call Faust Harrison was the best thing I did in our search for a grand piano for our kids. We visited the showroom and met Erica in person. She gave us her undivided attention and worked closely with the kids. They played on different pianos in the showroom, and gave Erica their feedback. This coupled with her extensive background on all things piano, Erica was able to find the perfect grand piano for us. We are so happy to have met the “Matchmaker”, as Erica is known in the industry. There was never any pressure to buy. The kids LOVE the sound and feel of their grand piano, and practice on it daily for several hours a day! We are lucky to hear the beautiful music that fills our home each day. Amadae, Erica’s assistant, was also very professional and handled all of the logistics smoothly. We cannot thank you enough for making our piano buying such a wonderful experience! We highly recommend them!
