genuinely the nicest people ever and great instrument selections
Exactly what i ordered and fast, Great Job
We always have a great experience at Sam Ash, whether we are there to shop or for taking piano lessons. Highly recommend it!
I walked into the store..immediately 3 sales associates approached me asking if i needed help finding anything..this irritates me..makes me feel like a criminal, or someone who is going to steal..I was quite pleasant with them, thanked them for the offer, picked up a set of strings and made my way to the checkout..I stood at the abandoned register for almost 10 minutes when finally a sales person who spoke very poor english approaches me and asks”Are you being helped” This angered me even more..”Tell me sir, ,Does it look like i have been helped?”…AND HE WALKED AWAY !!! There is a gentleman at this store namef Wally , He came over, apologized to me and helped me very quickly with professionalism and courtesy..Wally is a credit to this store,,the others are not.
The neighborhood is a little sketchy, but once inside the selection is good. Watch for an occasional used bargain and check out the monthly sales.
Decent store and selection.
My kids took music lessons.
We had a lousy experience with Ambika in piano. She was very unprofessional and entitled. She changed class dates and times several times and even cancelled at the last second.
The other teacher was great, however. So choose teachers wisely and don’t be afraid to switch if you feel uncomfortable with your teacher.
Return process was extremely dissatisfying! They asked me a bunch as to why I was returning an unopened, unused product. When I told them they tried to steer me towards an exchange when all I wanted was my money refunded. Got passed off to pro audio to complete the transaction. More questions, more high presssure tactics to get me to exchange. Guy starting helping another customer in the middle of my transaction. Then got smart when I asked him if we could finish up first. the end he waved me off when we were through. Very unprofessional. Will go out of my way and hit guitar center next time.
2. Guitar Center
Address: 520 N Orlando Ave Suite 130, Winter Park, FL 32789 , Eatonville , Florida , United States
Super Highly Recommended..I went to try out some high-end acoustics even I didn’t wanna buy any of those at that moment. The staff was super nice and informative, and willing to let me try the fancy guitars behind the glass window. Love this guitar center, and it’s way better than the one that I went to in San Antonio
I went in just to browse. They have a nice selection of new and used gear. I had fun just spending time and talking with customers and staff. Really knowledgeable and nice people. This is my go to store when I’m looking for gear.
Understaffed
Friendly and I like the playability of instruments you are wanting to buy
Ok
27 March 2023 ~ 6:30PM. Went to browse acoustic guitars. Many low quality guitars . Only a few I would pick up. Looked at a mandolin banjo that was interesting. Asked for a tuner and pick. They provided no issue. Teenager cranked up electric guitar so loud could not hear anything but little Eddy Van Halen.Told staff and they wanted to charge me for a quiet room. meanwhile Eddy ruled the store. My rights infringed on. He did what ever he wanted,no help from staff. Asked Worker with staff wear to unlock guitar. He sat there playing BLACKBIRD in the corner and pointed dude behind counter. i Waited patiently for my turn. Also asked him if Eddy could turn down. Could not hear in the entire acoustic session. Then asked short white guy if I could use a room. again they wanted to charge me for a quiet room. I handed the pick and tuner back. Told them they don’t want to help me. Short dude was no help and had a smart comment. while walking out, more sarcastic comments. Turned around tryingto figureout why so rude. Go ask gentleman work Iin drum section long hair. He also went back to his area because so loud. whtie Dude behind counter should be reprimanded along with other white dude playing BLACKBIRD on company time refusing to help. This is why I go to Sweetwater and Winter Sound. They actually care. It is not uncommon for me to spend 2-4K on the fly .Congratulations YOU LOST MY BUSINESS. And was treated unfairly. Lazy employees. They represented Guitar center in a low grade manber.
Over 20 minutes at the store and nobody ask to help!
I go every Friday and walk out with something I love Leo the owner is an incredibly kind and helpful person if he doesn’t have it he will get it for you
THE BEST store with the best service!
I recommend and love every detail. ❤️
My family loves this place. The owner is such a lovely person who has always given us remarkable customer service.
The space is always nicely organized and put together and always great music playing.
they are a small store and have a variety of media formats but each type has limited options. They were one of the highest price range shops for their items that I’ve been to. I left with just a few items and felt like I shouldn’t have bought them because it was just too much compared to other places. Also they just need more stuff. The store is incredibly clean and very aesthetically pleasing and the girl was very nice at checkout though.

Address: 1515 S Orlando Ave #202, Maitland, FL 32751 , Eatonville , Florida , United States
My preschool aged son loves his music class and it’s adorable to see pictures of him playing instruments. I hope he continues to grow with C&V Music
The amount of growth I’ve seen from my student’s time at C&V music has been so inspiring! The team goes above and beyond, and you feel their care and passion for music and learning in every lesson. I really love the annual events they put on for the students to showcase all they’ve been working on. So much love goes into every moment they spend with their students! It’s only been about a year and I’ve seen my student go from not knowing much to now reading music, playing by ear, and learning hard songs in one sitting. The greatest gift C&V music has offered is confidence and the discipline to want to keep getting better. At this point, I can’t wait for my unborn child to reach the age to begin taking music lessons! If only C&V music taught little infants if you’re questioning if you should give C&V music a chance — stop! You won’t have any regrets, this company is a gem!
Every time I walk out of Taylor Robinson Music I have a smile on my face. This is mainly because of Sydney, one of the staff members. She is always helping me find what I need and never fails to have a great attitude. Because of the helpful staff, Taylor Robinson Music is a definite 5/5 for me.
I’m so glad I chose private drum lessons with my instructor Mike. His customized lesson plans have helped me develop my skills in a way that feels natural and organic.
I’ve had a few lessons with Elliott so far and they have been great. After spending a few months on my own with books and Youtube videos getting feedback from a knowledgable instructor has helped significantly. Elliott is strong on fundamentals which I really like as I’m not setting up any bad habits. Each lesson gives me something new, interesting, and challenging to work on for the week.
I had one bad experience or negative thought about any session. He listens to what I want to play and manages to teach the “boring” fundamentals around this keeping me interested at all times.
I have no idea whether this facility actually provides quality service or not because I can’t get in contact with anyone. I do know they don’t answer the phone though, I’ve called several times during opening hours and I just get the voice mail every single time. Maybe they’re no longer in business? Not sure. Seemed like a good company, maybe I’ll make the drive to the location and update this review if the address is still correct.
12. Sam Ash Music Stores
Address: 4644 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 , Eatonville , Florida , United States
First time here. The store is very spacious and the layout is appropriate. There is a stage in the center of the store which appears to be for performances that allow customers to know how an instrument truly sounds — thats pretty cool.
I went in for some simple cables and got what I needed; not what I wanted, but what I needed. I was helped by Preston and I was looking for gold tip plugs, but he explained the realities between the “gold” tipped plugs vs the nickle plugs. I still opted for the gold tip plugs but they didn’t have the one I was looking for so I opted for the nickle tip to get the job done. The service was what I expected — friendly and knowledgeable. Preston also offered to help me configure my Maschine MK3 for external sampling and shared some of his own unconventional sampling techniques as he rang me up. Very cool, down to earth dude, who shares the same musical interests as me. I appreciate that…
I would definitely come back the next time I need something.
They have a wide variety of guitars and they have nice employees shuch as Rob and Rickey.
great deal on a good product everyone in the store was helpful with making my choice .
Bought my 1st professorial drum machine (Roland mc 303) here in 2001.
Place must be going out of business. Excuses that manufactures are out of stock when everyone clearly has stock.. trying to spend my money local but whatever.
Friendly staff, nice selection but limited on classical instruments.
Better service in the other store.!!!!!!. The store manager in Colonial doesn’t pay attention to customers neither some young employees playing with their cellphones while you hope for help.. Except approaching you only to remind you to be a good citizen by using the stupid useless , social engineering mask. Afterwards and also meanwhile on they are too busy doing something in an empty store ..and cannot assist to place an order online. Young dudes too cool for normal clients .. Micromanaging..
I wanted to sell a used trombone in mint condition but no one could give me a quote and told me to come back the next week. I asked for $1,000 but they said, “That’s too high. We usually offer 1/3 of the original purchase price. If we buy it at $1,000 then we have to sell it at $500.” an employee said. Really? There was literally a similar used trombone on sale for $2,000 hanging on the wall. I’m not driving 25 minutes to and from this place to get another lowball offer. There is better luck selling online.
Absolutely everything you need if everything you need does not fall in the DJ category
I am a drummer based in Nigeria, and ever since I started using Orlando drummers lessons and other stuffs by him I’ve improved greatly, soon enough my drum cover videos will be out too, all thanks to Orlando Drummer for the inspiration.
Adam is a great teacher. He explains a lot stuff that that I have missed from all my past music instructors. It’s these nuances that really bring all the pieces together. He also teaches in a way that keeps me motivated. I wish I would have had teachers like this in high school!
Awesome
14. Rachel Durrum Music – Wedding & Event Music / Violin Lessons
My daughter has been taking violin lessons from Rachel for a few years now. We appreciate Rachel’s kind and patient manner with children, her convenient appointment times, her knowledge and professionalism, and her flexibility with zoom lessons during covid distancing. We would highly recommend her!
Outstanding!!! She was very professional. I would definitely recommend using her again.
Rachel Durrum provided music for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. I opted for the violin and cello and it was incredible. The music was beautiful and made my wedding so special. One thing I have always dreamed of for my wedding was having live music as I walked down the aisle and Rachel made that dream come true. I walked down the aisle to Canon in D and my bridal party & family members walked down the aisle to Annie’s Song by John Denver. The music selection process is very simple and Rachel allows you to customize it to your needs. I was also able to choose the songs I wanted played during cocktail hour! I would definitely recommend Rachel Durrum for your music needs!

Great company.. Ryan is our instructor and we love him. Highly recommended
My granddaughter started her piano lessons about a month and a half ago and she is doing amazing. Her instructor is Jeremy and he is such a wonderful guy. He’s patient and funny and really gets my granddaughter to engage.
We’re taking lessons via Zoom and it’s been great! It means even when we travel, my son doesn’t miss a beat. He’s enjoying everything about learning an instrument and his instructor is awesome!
16. Oz Productions
Address: 520 Orlando Ave #22, Winter Park, FL 32789 , Eatonville , Florida , United States
Best recording studio around relaxation, comfortable, good engineers can’t ask fo more.
Awesome studio!!! The best I’ve encountered so far
Great experience. Very professional staff, experienced engineers in their field, and great communication through the mixing process. The studio interiors provide a comfortable space for recording sessions and project planning. Great studio for any professional projects; definitely recommend.
I haven’t been there yet . But I’m hoping one day I will so I can record songs. It looks like a great studio place to record great songs. Maybe I might give you a call & me and my little could record songs. I’m only 12 & have a few suggestions on songs & maybe you could me with them.
Requires pay,To record and publish a song.
Do no go with this studio!! There is so much better out there!! This studio robs you of your money and has many “technical problems”. The outcome of the production was horrible, horrible communication and hostility. Work they take 2 hours to do, you can do 10x better in 30 mins at a real professional studio with good engineers. Please take my advice and look somewhere else, you will loose a lot of money here when you can spend it somewhere else and get the product you want. I learned from this and am trying to help other people out there.
18. R & R Guitars
Address: 1881 W State Rd 434, Longwood, FL 32750 , Eatonville , Florida , United States
Rob has done an awesome job with a great looking music store. He’s central Florida’s only Reverend Guitar dealer. I bought one from him last month & I love it.
Rob was friendly, knowledgeable and low pressure. He even offered directions to another shop when he thought he didn’t have what I wanted. Would definitely shop here again.
Always a good experience there. Rob, the owner, is great and makes the buying experience personal and enjoyable.
Replaced strings of my daughter’s guitar. Did not tune at all. Poor communication. Was on the phone while checking me out and had difficulty asking / answering questions. Stated would clean up guitar that had been in storage but wasn’t touched. Took several days to replace strings. Would not go here again. Poor service
