Exceptional! I loved the atmosphere and the signature lattes were delicious.
The coffee is so delicious but it’s served a little too cold, more on the lukewarm side than hot. I’ll keep coming because it’s really good, maybe just order it extra hot.
The sweetest staff. Wonderful coffee.
All around great people ❤️
Nice little coffee shop.
so great to have another coffee spot.
The atmosphere is lovely, and this is such a wonderful place to hang out with your coffee. However the prices are outrageous, even for the valley. A small latte is almost $6. At the Bookworm (comparable price wise and atmosphere, also a local business) down the street I can get a large for $5.
I know the valley is more expensive than other places in general, but this is expensive even for here.
Our 1st visit here was very nice. Yesterday however, was a different story. We asked for an extra shot in both breve lattes. Both of them were VERY weak!! My husband went in to mention it & they pretty much called him a liar & wouldn’t even make new ones!! 3- 2oz. shots in a 12oz cup?? Not likely!! No coffee flavor!! We won’t be returning!!
35 minutes for 2 sandwiches with only one customer ahead of me. Wish that was an exaggeration. I could understand it if the eggs were hand scrambled in front of me but that’s not the case. I know this place is new but they have a long way to go.
I would not suggest going here, there are better options. This is about poor service. They take longer than they need for simple orders, they appear lazy and don’t care behind the counter the quality of what they provide, and they would rather chat with friends than move a building line of other customers through. For an out-of-the-way spot with average options, it just isn’t worth going. In my experience, their poor service took over 15 minutes to heat up a burrito, forcing me to leave without it.
2. Bookworm of Edwards
Address: 295 Main St, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
This is a great little shop in Edwards. My daughter and I went for brunch on a Saturday. We had the crepes. The Lemony Snicket crepe was delicious! The fresh blueberries are still on my mind months later! Obviously because of the area the prices are a bit high but I think that the atmosphere and quaintness is worth it.
Super cute cafe and bookstore! Smoothies were fantastic, very fresh and healthy. Book selection was great, and a great children’s book selection. ☕️
Nice selection of books. One of the resident “bookworms” shared some new authors and book titles. My granddaughter is now happily ensconced in Throne of Glass by Mass.
Good selection. Nice staff.
They have a nice cafe, but a pretty poor selection of books. A lot of space is dedicated to local books, with very few classics, next to no poetry, and a small selection of novels.
Very good food and concept. Not many tables for how busy it is.
I always buy crepes here and they are very good but this time I went they gave me two crepes to go and they were too raw, they were even chewy, I told the workers and they did not want to change them.
Very upset with today’s experience at the cafe. I ordered a Julia’s child with strawberries. I got 1 strawberry for the whole crepe. Also ordered a Chai, it was extremely light and when I opened the cup lid, the drink was already about halfway down, and I hadn’t even sipped it!
Somebody brought it for me since I don’t have a vehicle, so I couldn’t go back and show them how bad they ripped me off!
I’ve consistently given this place a 5 start review in the past. But they have no books for children with disabilities. The clerk could not find the ONE book they had for children with disabilities. Or for children who have siblings and friends with disabilities. Disappointed
3. The Thrifty Shop
Address: 34510 US-6, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
Name brand clothing and equiptment for a steal of a price! I reccommend stopping here before going to any retail spots. Friendly service as well
Super fun, great prices, got 2 great treasures
Awesome! Best Thrift Shop in the valley, good selection, great prices!
They tried to get $25 for a pair of rubber boots that sell retail, brand new, for $22.99. I pointed this out and they gave me the boots for $12, a fair price due to the fact that the boots were gently used.
You’ll run into the same issue at the Eagle store, which is run by the same people, but unfortunately it’s virtually the only thrift store in the county, so you’ll have to deal with it. It’s the nature of the beast.
Regardless, you’ll run into the occasional steal, and, like any thrift store, they run 50-75% off sales frequently. Good place for reasonably priced ski gear. too.
Can find some good deals on seasonal change items.
Rapido
Terrible customer service. Very rude over the phone.
We spent over $700. In merchandise and didn’t get our senior discount. I came in the next day and they still didn’t give it to us. PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO ASK FOR SENIORS DISCOUNT.
Overpriced! It is worth the drive to Denver or buy it new at Walmart.
4. Alpine Arts Center
Address: 280 Main St C-101, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
Always such a welcoming, fun environment. Our whole family loved adding cooking to the already creative classes that Alpine Arts offers. Ms Lauren and the whole staff are wonderful!
My elementary school daughter loves Alpine Arts Center. The after school and vacation camps are incredible. She comes home empowered to create more art. She looks forward to the different themes for the weeks. Thank you Alpine Arts Center for igniting the love of art in my kiddo.
Great facility and variety of classes. My kids have done classes and camps and always enjoyed them. It’s very organized and professional and they make really cool, creative things!
The cocktails and canvas class is great for a group or just you and a friend. It’s a fun and friendly environment.
What a fun place to spend 2 hours “making pottery” (or, based on my expertise, “playing with clay”). Great way to spend an afternoon with your kid!
Michael was awesome! Best cocktails in town! Also love the pink floyd night! So great!
Food was absolutely delicious!
A locals Hangout with upscale food and intricate cocktails in a casual setting.
Cool vibe, eclectic , diverse menu and high qulity craf cocktails.
Slow service but they were busy… Kind of expensive
Great place – only complaint, fix your kitchen ventilation!
Some of the worst service I have had in the valley. Every food item we tried to order was unavailable and just to get a drink took over 20 minutes. Complete waste of time and money
Just visiting their website have not been there physically
Waited for 45 mins just for drinks.. but I give all credit to Jessica.. she realized we didn’t get anything and she made sure we we’re takin care of..
7. Hovey & Harrison
Address: 56 Edwards Village Blvd Unit 120, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
A great addition to the Vail dining scene, Hovey and Harrison is an ingredient-driven, farmer-friendly restaurant that is a purveyor of quality, as they have built their menu around proteins and vegetables available locally. The vegetarian dishes, side salads, drink menu, and sandwich options are all killer, as is their breakfast menu with a complete variety of options to compliment their incredible views. Pull up a chair, wrap yourself in a blanket, have some peach iced tea, and enjoy your time at Hovey and Harrison’s!
Very good. On the expensive side for a Cafe.
This was the best bakery ever I really enjoyed the egg sandwich and I highly recommend the monkey bread if I had the chance I would come here every day
3 out 5 because I think this place is extremely over priced. Not a sit down service and we paid almost $60 for 3 people for breakfast. Not sure how a few eggs, sourdough bread, and a small piece of sausage equates to $60. Nothing wrong with the food but then again how can one mess up eggs and sausage? The sourdough was very tasty.
Delicious fried rice balls on yummy dandelion salad. Just the water was sub par. Tasted like water that I wish had been filtered ♀️. Loved the food tho
Vegetarian options: Great fried rice balls
A little slow, a little crowded, but food and coffee was good. Sweet potato hash included chunks of corned beef, and sweet potatoes, and lots of vegetables. Very good
LOUD comes to mind almost immediately after setting foot into this place. The incredible din of this eatery is almost unbearable. Shouting is a form of conversation here. Not a relaxing foodie experience at all…
Unbelievable rude attitude by the staff, came here for lunch and couldn’t find the lunch menu, after asking, I got a passive aggressive answer from the lady at the front desk (is right in front of you kind of thing) I can’t believe the staff here takes care of tourists many that like me speak English as their second language and might get confused, some cultural sensitivity wouldn’t hurt guys, very disappointing experience, do yourself a favor and go get food to one of the two restaurants next door.
worse management in the county
8. Belmont Deli
Address: 105 Edwards Village Blvd, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
Love this3place, great food and excellent service!!
Thank you for making my day with a lovely lunch!
Amazing sandwiches. Love the horse racing theme. Breakfast served all day!
Good food!
Sandwiches, soup, and chicken salad were all good, but nothing special. Disappointed that the sandwiches didn’t come with a side of sort. A tad pricey for the amount of food you get.
Great sandwichs and soup
Who closes at 3pm on a Monday?
They have good food but very sad that for some reason you close at 3pm on a Monday afternoon who dose that!?
Sandwiches are good, but the salads are a huge ripoff! $17 for the caprese salad with chicken – small salad with 5 little grape tomatoes, a few pieces of mozzarella, and less than 3oz of chicken. You can get a way heftier salad at Smiling Moose across the street for $17!
why do you shut down at 3 on a Thursday? better review if you had what you said on the menu and were open when you said you’d be.
Update months later: out of hot dogs again? You’re kidding me freaking ridiculous
9. Riverwalk At Edwards
Address: 216 Main St, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
This is a wonderful place there are places you can meet someone for a cup of coffee or a meal it’s a neat addition to Edwards and the grocery store is wonderful I love that grocery store it’s wonderful to support local markets and the people are always so nice and helpful it has such a nice small town feel to it
Go for the soft serve and tacos!
Lots of shops
Dining and some offices and a tiny amphitheatre and cinema! Lovely… just a $#@^show of crowdedness and construction often.
Nice variety of business
Nice shops, the Bookworm bookstore is super and has lovely food too!
I hate everything about this place, abusive prices, I can’t wait to get out of this STUPI*****. place
Eat the ritch
Horrible parking lot design, confusing one-way streets Google maps screws everything up. Poorly designed
10. Riverwalk Theater
Address: 34253 US-6, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
Hooray that this theatre finally accepts credit cards. Enjoy the small showing rooms.
No parking, late for show, had to go…not Riverwalk Theaters fault, just need to plan better for parking and get there earlier next time
So awesome to have a theatre in Edwards. Matinee tickets are pretty affordable at $10. It’s a small, cute theatre with cool movie offerings (without having to drive to Silverthorne or Rifle.
Nice people but uncomfortable seats and the theater isn’t cleaned between shows so we had move old popcorn bags and half empty soda cups. Maybe just not enough staff.
Theater is fine. Food is good. Service is fair. Patrons talk more than any theater I have ever been to.
Cute, small old school theater.
Crazy cold, make sure you take a coat in with you while you sit in the uncomfortable seats. The staff there can’t be bothered to get off their phones, even when helping customers – the girl sold me a ticket without stopping her conversation and taking pictures of herself. Mediocre A/V quality. This may be acceptable for a bargain theater, but the tickets are priced as if this were a premium IMAX theater.
Mucha descriminacion
TAKE EARPLUGS!! The sound is TERRIBLE!! We just saw “Oppenheimer” and the sound effects were deafening. We had our fingers in our ears for three solid hours. This is NOT the first time the A/V tech misjudged and turned up the sound effects and turned down the dialog. Completely ruined the movie experience.
11. Edwards Corner
Address: 56 Edwards Village Blvd, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
Too small of a parking lot in front.
Many patrons coming in & out with poor access & parking.
Great ice cream shop & yarn shop!
So enjoyed tomato bisque soup (pieces of tomato) & Cubano, my partner had the special burger, said it was high quality meat.
Only downside was rap music, but to each their own.
12. Riverwalk Barber Shop
Address: 26 2nd St, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
Great barbershop. Did a really nice job with hair cut and beard trim and was a cool atmosphere and reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!
2 great haircuts there so far and nice conversation
First time in 18 years that I loved every little thing about my haircut. SO friendly and willing to listen and give me exactly what I wanted!
Fast got right in, would have liked if a bit more effort went into it as in shaving the back of my neck cleaning up the edges better for the cost.
Gentlemen, this is not a barber, it’s more of a salon… I was in and out in 10min and the cut was ok however it wasn’t as nice of a cut as a usual barbershop.
Basic hair cut a bit pricey at $30
Horrible place I literally had to cut my own hair after they messed it up pretty bad.
Terrible service. Very mean blonde ladie who is not good with children. Got skipped as they said a guy that walked in after me and signed in after me, was before me. And me being a cordial person let it slide. They also don’t seem to enjoy cutting any other kinds of hair besides white hair
I tried to call an appointment and the lady who answered the phone answered with “ what the hell do you want, stop calling” and hung up. I called back again from another phone number as I have two cell phones. Again, she accused me of being a telemarketer! I just wanted a decent haircut, but clearly this place doesn’t need new business. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Especially if you have an out of state number.
13. Craftsman Brew Co
Address: 0105 Edwards Village Blvd, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!!!
Great place awesome food fantastic atmosphere
So delicious!
Food was good, beer was good. The menu needs better explanation. Maybe after you’re there 2-3 times things become more clear. Wasn’t real excited about the steel stools for seating either. Will give it a 2nd chance next week.
Good food at decent prices. Tasty vegan options. The wait staff was nice. Order taker/cashier could have been friendlier.
Really good but pricey for what it is
Meh
Have been going to craftsman’s since July 2019. I have to say it used to be my favorite restaurant in the valley. However, since opening their new location they have lose their “appeal” or “vibe”. The food prices have increased and I am disappointed that they changed their spicy chicken, which had to be their most popular menu item (it had a cult following). The sandwich used to be $14 but now is $22 because it comes with French fries. The old sandwich had bacon which it no longer has and the sauce has changed for the worse. Also the presentation of the fries is cool but because it’s in a wrapped basket the fries get wet and soggy from the steam and onions.
Request: bring back the old hot chicken sandwich
Expensive sandwiches
14. Drunken Goat
Address: 56 Edwards Village Blvd # 104, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
Love this place! Great for small bites and sharing. Amazing cheese selection.
Great place, a must for a light lunch and a good beer. Lots of GF options to include their whole panini menu. House made dressings, GF beer and many other choices. Think all the offerings of a gastro pub that specializes is GF (but not only GF) options.
Took my friend here for a small birthday celebration and we just adored it! Excellent rosé and a plethora of scrumptious charcuterie choices, you can create your own board or ask the friendly staff for recommendations. Cozy ambience, makes you want to sit and stay a while!
Cool spot, good menu for happy hour
Great caviar
So the short Rb was boiled And basically tasteless! Luckily they refunded it because it was so horrible! My duck was good and service was great!
Who doesnt love a rude hostess. Came in as a single for a snack. There wasn’t any seating available, which is ok. I understand. Decided to take some Mac and cheese as take away and then had to wait twenty mins. for it. A little shocked. The hostess told me that she has a full dinning room and that I could cancel it to explain why something that’s premade in the kitchen would take so long. I’m sure the food is probably good or maybe it’s over priced trash, never got a chance to eat before deciding a review was necessary. The customer service is trashy. I guess when youre busy you don’t have to care . Standing here waiting for Mac and cheese. Look, if that’s the case no problem. As someone who works in a restaurant, there is always a way to talk to customers to help them understand what the restaurant is working with. I’d hate to not mention I’m looking at empty tables. NYC style “better than you” attitude during off season in a mountain town. I’d rather go to NYC for that attitude and especially when the prices are the same.
Not good food, poor service. Very confused staff. Don’t go.
very mediocre food and okay service. we got the gnocchi, mushroom ravioli, and mac and cheese. The gnocchi wasn’t anything special, it lacked a lot of flavor in my opinion. the mac and cheese tastes more like cream and not much of a strong cheese flavor at all. and the mushroom ravioli was the best out of them all. didn’t wait long to be seated, but we waited 45 mins plus to get the food and not much attention from the waitress. definitely not worth the prices.
15. Steve’s Guitars
Address: 19 N 4th St, Carbondale, CO 81623 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
Steve is a chill guy. I hang out around his venue.
Always great music, best little venue. 6 stars really
Great venue on the western slope!
It’s ok
Intimate, beautiful guitar display. Fun nice place to get to know musicians upclose. Byob.
Intimate venue blanketed in an eclectic collection of guitars. Great for solo or small acts to play in, especially warm acoustics.
This place chronically doesn’t pay their musicians who play there. 50% cut of door sales?? No response when folks try to collect their earnings?? Support local music – not this place.
16. Dogma Athletica
Address: 137 Main St G-001, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
Great trainers and facilities, the staff / trainers genuinely care about your mental and physical well being and help to motivate you to reach your goals, I cannot imagine working out anywhere else!
The trainers at Dogma are the best I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. They work you hard, focus on your specific needs and make it fun all at the same time. I’ve regularly attended the training sessions for the past three years and credit the Dogma trainers with building my strength & endurance allowing me to continue enjoying my favorite sports; snowboarding and kite-boarding.
One of the best fitness studios I have found! Dogma does a great job of encompassing all fitness levels into their classes as well as offer personal training sessions with their highly skilled trainers. Not only is it a place to workout, but the owners and staff have really made it a space of community and gathering. I love being able to come every morning knowing that I will be welcome and comfortable with whatever I am feeling that day!
More about fitness than yoga. CrossFit/TRX program took over beautiful yoga space and yoga hasn’t been the same. Fitness training is great here, but for yoga go across the street to MindSpace.
A lil small but you can workout everything there
17. Etown Colorado
Address: 295 Main St UNIT C104, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
LW charge, cc chg, would prevent me from returning.
Great place for some good food.
Its the locals hang out with a great happy hour. Lunch is well priced, dinner can get pricey
Worst service ever. Food was disgusting. Sad really
Hit or miss. Mostly miss though, sadly. We really want to like this place, but they always fall short. Today was an absolute bomb. The “sushi grade” tuna tasted fishy and was brown. The dessert we ordered while our two toddlers fussed took a half hour… for 1 scoop of ice cream. The donuts we ordered literally never came. We were told to stay several times, that they were coming now. The manager even gave us a gift card and apologized. Then we finally decided to leave. We told the waiter out of consideration and he said, “cool.” Which prompted me to write this review. No apologies for the several times of over promising. The waiter seemed like a nice guy really could have found a better choice of words. I hope we will be able to look past all of this and come back someday to use the gift card since we paid for the donuts. :/
Server was disrespectful to elderly customers and veterans
18. greatime dj
Address: 205 E Hurd Ln, Avon, CO 81620 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
He did a great job. Really tailored his services for exactly what we dreamed of for our wedding. Would definitely recommend
Our DJ (Jason) was fantastic to work with for our wedding. Helped with timeline of toasts, had a great sense of the crowd when DJ’ing, and integrated Persian music seamlessly (I wasn’t sure how this would work out). We received multiple comments that the DJ was great from our guests. Fred and Jason were very easy to work with, professional, and were really helpful when we had to change our plans based on covid. Highly recommended!
Fred was great and is a long time friend of the family. He made sure to play the music we enjoyed and was good at getting people on the dance floor. He was really easy to work with replying to emails and phone calls quickly. Fred is so easy to work with and such a great guy, making the planning process easy and not stressful. His forms you fill out include everything that you need and then some.
19. Natural Nails & Spa
Address: 0105 Edwards Village Blvd suite G 101, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
My nails look awesome! This salon really took the time to clean up my toes and finger nails. I appreciate the work they put in!
Tracey is my go to eyelash gal! Vivian is my nail lady! She is SO funny and will have you cracking up while giving you the nails EVER! She takes great care of my cuticles and my fills look brand new. She is awesome at coffin and will have you walking around with nail swagger in the Valley. Tracey is the sweetest and you barely feel her hands when she does your eyelashes. She is super fast and the only one I let touch mine now. 🙂 I was hesitant to post because I want to keep them all for myself but they deserve all the success so I am sharing my secret. BOOK AHEAD!
I love this salon
Well, I wish I could say wonderful things about Natural Nails, but I really left there feeling underwhelmed. The place is really pretty, and the hygiene is up to standard, but the prices are anywhere from 20% to 95% higher than my salons in the San Francisco Bay area and New Orleans (neither place is known for living inexpensively!) And if you’re hoping for a great (or even just good) hand or feet massage, this definitely isn’t the spot. I even asked my technician to rub a little harder, but nothing changed. I almost didn’t realize she was still dabbing lotion on me! Both my hands and feet look fine, hence the 3 stars, but my sister’s dip manicure was messy and her nails were cut too short and filed squarely, even though she asked twice for them to be rounded. And when she asked for the cuticles to be pushed down, the manicurist said, “Oh, then you also want a manicure?” Since when does a dip manicure NOT include the manicure part? Especially when it’s priced at a 33% increase?
Everyone is super nice!! Great service, best work I’ve had done in the valley hands down. I love this place, it is now my go to.
Terrible gel pedicure. They did not have the base layer dry and it did not last long.
Also the receptionist is so rude and makes you feel uncomfortable.
Avoid!! If I could give this place 1/2 a star I would- a friend and I made mani/pedi appointments. They didn’t have enough staff, didn’t get our pedis done at the same time, and then the same tech was going to do both of our manicures. She did the worst paint job I have ever seen and I asked her to take it off halfway through. Not sure how they are in business.
Hello ladies and gents first and for most I have never complained about a place In my life and that’s including food places I’ve gotten food poisoning from, I’ve gone to this location so many times hadn’t been there in years, a few days ago I decided to make an appointment I was walking in behind this woman who barely held the door open for my even if I was a steps behind her, as she walked in she was greeted by everyone I was left standing there for I want to say 4 minutes before anyone looked at me, I’ve also know the owner Tracy before she opened her location in Edwards and worked at the location in Avon she looked at me up and down and started talking to her client she was working on completely ignoring me, when I’m finally acknowledged she says “pick a gel color” assuming what I’m getting done like I said I haven’t been there in years I asked where are the gel colors she laughed and pointed, i picked a color sat down and the whole time felt completely judged not only by Tracy but by her customers witch I understand is not in the company’s fault, but I was the only Latina in the building all the women kept looking at me rolling there eyes as if my presence bothered them, a really nice young man started doing my nails and whenever someone needed to pay even if it was Tracy’s client my guy would have to get up because Tracy would yell at him to, I have a large following on social media so I went on my Snapchat and shared my experience and MANY girls swiped on my story and told me there HORRIBLE experiences there all were latinas by the way… not only that during my appointment a lady told Tracy she could not finish as Tracy asked her why she looked at me and said Tracy your not the problem? IVE NEVER FELT SO DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED IN MY LIFE I will never be going back and I will never recommend that place to anyone ever again seriously hurt my heart I thought we were over all of this if only they knew where I come from and how hard I work I have a very big heart and I’m never rude to anyone! What’s disappointment and anytime anyone asks me about this location I will share my story with them.. I hope this is more of an eye opener for the business than another bad review! I also tipped my guy what he deserved he was amazing! Sadly that won’t keep me going NOT WORTH IT.
20. Main St Grill
Address: 97 Main St # W-101, Edwards, CO 81632 , Edwards , Colorado , United States
Great go to spot! Friendly atmosphere and great variety of wonderful food!
We always love seeing Casey behind the bar and their Mac n’ cheese is the bomb! Great happy hour as well!!!
The food was decent, but the service left a bit to be desired. No drink refills, took forever to check k on how the food was amd then again to offer dessert or being the check. On the plus, they’re dog friendly amd have gluten free options. The patio is quite nice as well
Solid if not spectacular on every visit. I have been here 3 times and it is always a pleasurable experience.
Food just OK. Chicken sandwich was good. Do not recommend the lamb gyro
Nice outdoor dining area…if they would let you sit there. This place was nearly empty but they would not move a single chair or table to allow our group to sit outside or anyplace except the cramped corner table they gave us. Not exactly accommodating. Can’t speak to the food quality. We left.
Food was embarrassing. Crawfish etoufee was Campbell’s tomato bisque mixed with Uncle Ben’s rice. They skipped the veg completely. My goldfish is bigger than the catfish served. Cornbread was mushy and they forgot the honey butter. At least the friendly staff was friendly.
The waitress was less than pleasant!
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
