Owner was super knowledgeable about repairing my active electronics on my 1987 Charvel model 4 guitar. This is a very specialized elec. Guitar & they were able to deconstruct & reconstruct the complicated rats nest elec. System. They even had knowledge of replacement pickups & controls in case my antique stuff was faulty. Great guys with custom fabrication abilities on their own brand & other makes of guitars. As a small guitar collector & enthusiast, I highly recommend & trust them for detailed work.
Great people, great guitars, great service.
Very helpful.even if you’re only there to buy strings.and dreaming of some of the masterpieces that fill the walls.also gave me acoustic string pins.the things that hold the strings .whateva they called.thank you very kindly.
Great Company work for them designing applications and they are a great team and design quality games and music etc…
dope tune
Music is always amazing, and the products they have looks better in person. The material of the shirts and hoodies are soft. Definitely recommend buying and listening to their stuff.

Seriously my main location for all of my music needs. I go there to talk music theory and ask for suggestions as far as equipment needed and he has a very welcoming attitude that reminds me what great business feels like.
Its a breath of fresh air to see someone who is in business for music with a optimistic atmosphere.
Friendly staff who is always willing to help the customer!
Very professional, helpful, amazing customer service. Knows exactly what he’s doing and deserves to have this place! Go to this guy for anything guitar
The previous owner Bill treated his customers like family until he sold his shop to a bunch of crooks, I needed the new owner Kenny to put new strings on my guitar and he could not even do that right because my strings broke one after the other and when I asked him to restring the guitar he ordered that I’d have to pay him for the strings again and re-installation and when I asked for a refund he said “Absolutely not, because this would’ve never happened with any of my other customers” I asked “why are you doing this?” And he replied “what are you going to do about it?”
6. Music Matters
Address: 4112 Little Rd, New Port Richey, FL 34655 , Elfers , Florida , United States
Awesome shop. Owners and teachers are really nice. , They take care of me and they have awesome prices!
Visited this shop for help with son’s violin. What an awesome shop! Really made me want to learn to play an instrument.
Edit: Owner offers whole string change for free. 1 star to 3 stars.
They charged me 5 DOLLARS for one guitar string change. My E string broke and they previously replaced it for free so I bought a pick holder for my guitar. So I came back, and thought I might buy some picks or something if they did it for free or for cheap again, but then the guy at the counter says it would cost 5 whole dollars, 2 for the string, 3 for tuning and setup. The tuning and setup took 30 seconds.
Go somewhere else for string changes or learn it yourself. That’s what I’ll be doing.
More of a place for music lessons than a music shop, but does include a variety of guitar equipment although a bit pricey. The cashier wasn’t too personable, however a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman (could have been an instructor or owner) helped me choose the best pick for my guitar.
Great Instructors. No pressure, ample space and knowledgeable staff! Great place for lessons!
For someone who is already a musician.. This place sucks. I went in to buy a pack of guitar strings because I was in a bind, and a pack of Ernie ball strings were $8.25? RIP OFF. Everywhere ive ever bought the same strings they have been $3-$4 cheaper. Plus,The sales associate didn’t even look at me, acknowledge I was there or anything. Plus! We was wearing a Karate uniform? I don’t about about their lessons. But for general sales.. I will never ever go here again.
My daughter joined the band at River Ridge and this was the store that they recommended to purchase her instrument I did purchase her instrument over a three-year time. Making my monthly payments and then four years later I come back after it’s paid off try to return it or sell it back to the music store we purchased it from so that another student could potentially use this instrument and learn how to play it. The owner of the store says he does not buy instruments back. So now this will just sit in my closet for years to come. Thanks for passing on the knowledge to other children. I guess Music doesn’t matter!
Very overpriced. Music matters is a very stuck up environment and they treat their customers like imbeciles. We won’t be back here.
I went into this establishment on a whim. After having a slight look around I asked a woman at the counter ( who I’m assuming is the owner ) if she was interested in buying my bag. She told me they don’t take in bags, but what happened next surprised me. The woman was kind enough to direct me to a place that would take in my bag, gave me thorough directions and gave me a bottle of water to help me replenish as she saw that I was winded from riding my bike all day. This woman is a Saint ! And if ever I need to pawn anything again, I know I will be keeping this place in mind.
Frank treated me like family the first time I met him! Awesome people great stuff thanks you guys!!
I have been dealing with them for a while. Great people to deal with. Very friendly and polite.
Communication is non existent
Nothing but garbage… lady is trashy
FCKN Joke…45 min waiting patiently to hear what they already knew! first time in a pawn shop since 2013 & will Def be the Last…& NO its Not about the $…
Very friendly staff prices are very reasonable large selection to choose from definitely recommend this place
Always friendly
I love this place , you can fill up a bag for $1.87 and that anything. Clothes books , I ain’t even went inside. I just got 3 shirts 2 socks and one shorts and 6 books ans writing and drawing material. , 2 bags under 4 bucks. They have great girl and kids and home and I can’t wait till next time to go inside.
Thought some things were pricey.
A little bit of everything. The staff is friendly. Inventory changes quick enough I can usually find a treasure.
It was a nice little place, and had some good deals.
A lot of items they will try to charge you more when you go to check out saying they belonged on a different rack or in boutique . Seems unorganized when you blame this on your staff for not knowing what section the clothes should be in. The lady at the front desk told me this about 3 of my items and tried to upcharge me to what she said it should be. I have never had this happen and I frequent all the thrift stores in Pasco, she is very unprofessional and rude. Definitely not use to this type of customer service or the lack of. They act like they have decent prices in an over priced store. Tshirts 6.99 for used clothes. Also if it has any kind of tag they will tell you it should be n the boutique regardless if it came from Walmart. You would think at a charity store they would not be like this.
Very expensive and unorganized i used to go to this store a lot and they are charging something that still had the original price on it, there charging 4.99 when the original was .99 don’t waste ur money here go somewhere else
Prices are a little high and some of the staff are a bit rude I would take the time to drive somewhere else
They always have what I’m looking for, the best customer service.
Both my father and myself have purchased over many years, awesome people work here.
Best around. Easy to deal with. Very friendly and informative. Will be going back!!!!!
place looks awsome but people working there need an attitude check. i will never bring my stuff here. you shouldnt either just because there building looks nice doesnt mean it is inside sorry people a business is made from good employees that like the public
They were friendly.
Great place to shop for Guns. Very knowledgeable, just a bit busy on weekends so may be in there a little longer that want to. But overall good service.
Wanted to give me 12$ per oz of silver bullion. Prices are 24$ oz. Slight robbery in my eyes.
I’ve gone to think pawn shop numerous time to buy thing, and they have decent prices. Today though, was my first experience trying to pawn/sell something there, which apparently is a totally different experience. I was selling a few common drill batteries for a drill I had that doesn’t work anymore, and really didn’t care what I got for them as I didn’t really need the money, just wanted to get rid of them. The person at the counter told me he had not use for them, nor any equipment that could even use them (keep in mind that I come in this place all the time, and that these 18v batteries are used for multiple power tools from rotary saws and drills, to radios and flashlights. The thing that bothered me most was the disregard with which I was treated, and how I was made to feel like I was trying to sell batteries to support a drug habit of something. I deal with pawn shops because it’s safer than meeting strangers on Craigslist and they’re, usually, locally owned. I just wish my selling experience (attempt) was anywhere close to my usual experience there, but I guess experiences vary depending on the flow of the transaction.
look around before you do business here
came to this pawn shop to get a loan against my new macbook pro that i paid 1500 dollars for not more than 6mths ago. this was my first time pawning something, so i was unsure what to expect. unfortunately they not only low balled me by saying 150 dollars is all they can do, but then they tried to tell me that they just got the same computer in earlier that day and thats all they give. i would have believed that if i hadnt been the one who asked for 150 originally and not them offering me it. and secondly just cuz they got another computer earlier with a mac symbol it doesnt make it the same computer. i computer can look the same and be different by a thousand dollars given the hardware in it. like in my case, but they did not even take the time to check the specs in order to make an informed decision on what its worth. i know they very well could have loaned me the 200 dollars given the price of the cpu. asking for a 200 dollar loan on a 1500 dollar computer is not unreasonable but they sure tried to make me think it was. so i ended up driving down the road to pawn-stars by rowan and he had no problem offering what i needed to get by till i got paid. he even took the time to check all the specs to get an actual understanding of what that particular mac was worth and was able to help me out with out an issue. you who reads this pls make an informed choice about where you bring your business and know who really is trying to help and who is just trying to take advantage. oh and i do agree with the last comment. i also think the positive comments are left by staff. its too coincidental for the word “respectable” to be used in both reviews by people who randomly write reviews. oh and lastly expect to get followed every where. i only went from the front door to the aisle where the window is and they guy literally followed me from the front door even though i was headed striaght for the drop off window with a computer. i dont know how that would be treating customers respectably. if you want my opinion shop around before you go there.
15. Clay’s Guitar Shop
Address: 38874 US Hwy 19 N, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689 , Elfers , Florida , United States
Clay did a great job installing a K&K pickup in my acoustic and the setup was perfect. He also did a great job with the set up for my Fender Custom shop tele’s and my vintage 57′ Strat. Glad you are here Clay. Just bought a few more and will be stopping in soon for more great service from Clay. Thanks, Bare Davis
dont go for a guitar anywhere else. ive done the craigslist and facebook and what not. the big difference is that clay is a luthier. he sets up his guitars to get everything out of them that they can offer. and his prices are great. its clear that he loves the art and wants you to grow your love for it as well. if you go to craigslist or especially reverb, you dont really know what youll end up with. a fender strat made by one worker can play completely different than the supposedly same product by a different worker, or even a different day.
i just picked up this sweet fender strat and cant keep my hands off it. it plays so well!
also hes a gentleman…go clays!
Clay is a great guy and this shop is awesome.
I like this shop. They have some cool guitars, amplifiers, and effects.
Been here a couple of times, Clay’s has been helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, brought friends there, enjoyed it, Saw a couple of guys from the Cover Band ” The US STONES”
Will return.
Great! Always feel right at home with clay in all his amazing vintage collectibles
I brought my Martin acoustic guitar in for a new input jack. Typically an easy fix. He took one look at it and refused to work on it. Mumbled something about Martin guitars. Very disappointing. I took my guitar to Guitar Repair of Tampa Bay and they had it fixed in 30 minutes. Should’ve just gone there in the first place and not wasted my time at Clay’s. I won’t make that mistake again. If you have a Martin guitar, don’t even bother.
Rude owner. Poor selection of low end over priced acoustic guitars.
Not impressed. Low inventory and old equipment. Junk

Value pawn is the best they give the most money for your stuff and the staff is wonderful. I totally recommend them to everyone.
Carlos was amazing will definitely be coming back
Good business
Carol is a great sales person
I do lots of business with them on purchasing stuff, I’ve never had a problem with the staff or the store. I bought a pressure washer and it didn’t work right they gave me a better one that cost $60 more than the one I bought which is the one I wanted in the first place bought cost more than what I wanted to spend. Prices are pretty good for a pawn shop. They are not going to take car audio anymore which sucks. Instead of taking it away they should train there people to know what there doing.
They gave me a fair price for my jewelry. Very happy with the results☺️
I will never come to this value pawn location ever again. Carol is who I spoke with. I brought in a few pieces of jewelry that was clearly stamped 10k & 12k but she told me that they weren’t real. She didn’t even bother testing any of it. She came off rude & irritated that I was bothering her. I felt like I was judged the moment I walked in the door. She had made her mind up that she wasn’t going to buy any of my stuff..
Went there yesterday, the older women there is very rude, they try to take advantage of you and give you as least as possible for what you are selling way less than other pawn shops offer.
Went there years ago and dealt with the same woman and she was just the same rude. I forgot about her until I remember yesterday.
Do yourself a favor and go to another pawn shop. This place is garbage.
The customer service is horrible, what they offer for your product is horrible and what they sell things for in the store is way too much.
This place is my worst retail experience.
First of all i am really pissed off ok the lady put one cup of water in my vacum then tells me my vacum doesnt work of course u need to fill it to the top i use this item everyday and its a new vacum im gonna report this place just cause she was very rude to her customers was rude to 4 other people she should not work there
