Owner is very cool! Lots of guitars to choose from and good prices.
Absolutely incredible inventory first of all. Seriously top notch guitars. I had a professional set up of a Martin Acoustic completed by them and it came out perfect. Took a slight twist out of the neck and lowered the string action. Plays like a dream now. Definitely recommend and will be back for my next purchase(s).
Helpful- saved the day by having a ukulele!
This new store sells guitar strings and other music supplies. However, their main attraction is the high end vintage guitars.
Update: Lorenzo Formato aka Larry said he would get tracking info going or issue a refund he was severely sick with Covid.
I saw a Les Paul I was interested in. I explained to the man that my wife and I were in town from Japan and in the military. He thanked me for our service, then said he would give me a special deal on said Les Paul, and 2900 and this was the lowest he could go. Even after a brief negotiation and cash. I had a bad feeling that this was a shady sales tactic, so I walked away. As soon as I was in my truck I found his listing on Reverb and it was 2800 dollars, which means it was not only 100 dollars cheaper, but, if sold on reverb he would made 2500 dollars due to their 9.4% service fees for selling on their platform. Shade business practice to veterans of two different wars mean he will do it to anyone. Would avoid, if possible.
Two weeks for simple re-string of classical guitar, 14$ strings cost 60$ to get installed with no other service performed. Sloppy restring and didn’t even clean fretboard. Disappointed is an understatement! Would have expected something more for 80$. This establishment is no friend to the musician and overcharges perhaps to make up for lost return customers. Anyway be advised that you can definitely get better service elsewhere.
Took our guitar for repair, dropped it off and the owner never even took our name. Knew we traveled from out of town and said it would be done by 2pm for a restring, we dropped it off at 1015am. Had to call for personel because the business was not open despite posted hours online and on FB. Got there at 1:30 and it wasn’t done. Opted to leave it on site return to pick it up seeing we wasted hours around town allowing time for completion and it still wasnt finished. Returned today and they didn’t know who we were, what the guitar was, what the case was. No notes for the people “watching the store while the owner was away” and the watchers were extremely rude considering the owner never requested our information at drop off. They were ready to send us on our way without the guitar because we ‘didn’t call first for pickup’ even though it should have been completed a week ago. Gave us no charge for the inconvenience. I would have rathered to pay for my service and to have it be handled correctly.1 star. Do not recommend.

superior knowledge about string instruments and repairs. Thorough, professional expert.
UNCLE WALLY IS GREAT!!! MR.GUITAR MAN!!!
Great place! A resource for musical events in the area, seasoned staff that knows their way around stringed instruments, and a nice selection of accessories!
Good service
Just went there and the experience was negative. Folks weren’t all that friendly and I think ol’ ex-cop long-haired Uncle Tom has become too much of a celebrity to be friendly anymore. Probably was a nicer place in the past.
I stopped by the shop to ask about getting my banjo restrung. The two employees there said that if I bought the strings there they would put them on and tune if for me. A month later (today) I stopped in and just Wally, the owner, was there. I explained what I had been told and had him install the new strings while I went and picked a pizza. When I returned I paid and asked him if it was tuned and he said “the best I could.” I assumed him a professional and left the store. At my vehicle I gave the banjo a strum and it was completely out of tune, not even close. I went back in and asked Wally about it and he whined that it was a “two man job” to tune my banjo and when I disputed that he rudely (in front of other customers) said “You tune it!” I will obviously never go back and urge others to beware. I would award zero stars if it was a choice.
Very Rude ! OMG what a A hole
