This is the best shop in town! You can always find a used treasure here, we have bought so much gear from these guys and we always get a killer deal on a great score. Used amps, vintage and unique guitars, outboard gear, keyboards, cases…they have it all! It changes every day and it’s worth checking in to see what they have. Also, they buy gear and pay good $$$ for it when you need cash to get something else, and they also take trades on gear which is huge!! 10/10, these guys are the BEST in Denver!!!!!
Great staff incredible selection!!
Very professional, informative, and extremely helpful. Their prices are some of the best I’ve ever seen. A must go for any aspiring musician.
Nice place with good prices on used gear. Would’ve been 5 star if their trade-ins were a little more competitive price wise but still worth checking for deals.
The store has a cool rotating inventory of affordable classic and vintage pre-owned products by many makers. They offer light services too. If you’re looking for that kind of stuff you should stop in. Otherwise, shop em’ online and maybe you’ll find something you need.
The store clerk seemed to not know much about topics or items they have in the shop.
But the manager know what he’s talking about most of the time. (Opinion).
Avoid this “music store” (pawn shop) at all cost. The owner was not knowledgeable at all regarding high-end music equipment and then proceeded to low-ball an offer as he did not believe we knew the value of our equipment. We were then screamed at after requesting a fair price and insulted. We packed up our equipment to leave and then we were followed and insulted more as we were trying to leave. Then the owner threatened to call the police (not sure for what reason) as we were leaving and instructed us to stay put. The store is in a very “sketchy” area and I do not recommend visiting unless you want to be taken advantage of and accosted.
Not the friendliest bunch
READ THIS POST ABOUT THEM FIRST
I just brought the a 1894 lendalls violin they offered me $100 took it over to mi Vida Strings he told me its worth $4500-$5500 and the bow is worth another $600 these guys are such a rip off I will never do business here again offering Penny’s on the dollar.
They won’t do business with me because I gave them a 1 star rating looking at all there comments I’m not the only 1 very shady company be careful selling or buying from them

The place to go for string instruments and repairs. They were highly recommended by many professionals.
I had the best experience here! Took my violin in to get repaired and Eric went above and beyond to make my violin look and sound beautiful! His rates are honest, reasonable and he will answer any question you throw at him with a smile. He loves what he dose and it shows. A little advice i would call before you go in. Will be going to Mi Vida Strings LLC again!
Low-ball offer on a expensive violin I was trying to sell
We arrived during business hours and no one was present so the hour and a half drive was wasted because they couldn’t bother to be there
In the past 6 weeks I have called and left a msg twice with no return call. Says open till 2 on Sat so we made the drive, here at 1:30 and not open. I’m sure it’s a great place to get this donated violin fixed but well never know.

My granddaughter’s violin was given to ger for Christmas and was not put together. So when we took it to them to get strung she was great n tried but unfortunately the bridge was not the right one. But we appreciate the effort to try to make it work. Thanks again
Knowledgeable staff and GREAT teachers!
I am a music teacher. This is my go to for lesson books for my students.
Organized and clean nice staff they don’t buy instruments
Was able to buy a great violin
Would not recommend.
We rented an instrument through a school program and did not deal through Music and Arts directly but when it came time to return we needed to process through them. When attempting to return we were placed on extended holds, multiple times until finally hanging up. After leaving messages each time we finally received a call back and we’re able to process the return but we’re told “typically they do not provide a means of return this way”, guess they expected us to rent forever. The instrument still needed to be driven to a physical location and dropped off, after 2 attempts to visit during their stated hours to find the store closed we finally found someone there with the door unlocked but the closed sign out (this was during their working hours posted on the door). We were told by a Music and arts employee that they were performing maintenance and they could not take the return, after explaining the situation their tone did not change, and after back and forth arguing I was told to leave the instrument on the floor. Hopefully it gets logged and properly documented.
Definitely one of the most challenging businesses I’ve ever interacted with.
Terrible company. Rude and very misleading. OVER CHARGED AND REFUSED TO GIVE A REFUND
New saxophone from guitar center, 300 bucks. Used saxophone from music and arts 1130 dollars are they serious???

Chris helped our daughter pick a guitar for our 6 yr old granddaughter that is super excited to take lessons. Our experience was good and she is ecstatic a out her new guitar znd amp.
This place always has what I need. Love it.
Always busy. Usually pretty well staffed, but on the weekends it can sometimes be overwhelming. The people teaching the individual music lessons are pretty amazing, and work well with kids of all ages.
Guitar center a bit busy but gotcwhat i needed with swift service.
Zack in the keyboard department has always been right on with his recommendations and provided great service.
Waited for 30 minutes for an associate to free up to discuss a $350 sequencer, only to be given 5 minutes of assistance before he was pulled away to assist the customers who were ‘Just approved for a Guitar Center credit’, leaving me with a guy who ‘didnt know anything about them’.
Every instrument or amp I’ve ever bought here has been no different than buying a floor or display model.
My experience:
– started online when I found a cable I needed for project the same day.
– store details showed that the item was in stock at the location near me.
– ordered the parts i need and received a confirmation. this was 9am
– at 5pm I still had not received a notification that my parts were ready so I tried calling the local store. the number rang until I was disconnected. twice.
– I tried calling the “800” number for customer service for online orders. when I got to a person they informed me that the items I wanted were in stock at the store but my order would not be ready until tomorrow. when I told the rep. this was unacceptable they suggested simply going to the store and buying the item and cancelling the online order. he assured me they had enough stock and they were only opened for another 2 hours.
– I believed him and went to the store to learn that they did not have the item that both the website and the customer service rep assured me was there.
This was only my recent experience. My other experiences with Guitar Center through the years I have worked a musician has been mostly disappointing. I’m sure the people who work there are great and doing their best but it’s clear that their systems are broken. there is often no correlation between what you see online and what they have in store. I wish there was another viable solution for a local retailer that carries this kind of gear. I guess, I’ll have to plan better in the future so I’m not stuck with trying buying from a company that cannot deliver.

Brett had Great Customer Service and did a spectacular job making sure I was comfortable with my purchase!
Hi ! I had a great experience . There was no wait time and Gregory helped me in a very polite and professional manner . I was very pleased . Thank you Gregory . I’m so happy I met you . Keep up the good work . Then … I went to look at the beautiful rings and then Brenda helped me also in a very polite & warm manner . She even went out of her way to ask another employee for some information that really had me pleased . Thank you all .
Was helped by Gregory, he provided excellent customer service. He and his staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Keep up the good work!!!
I Like this place always good deals and I’m around the corner. Convienent.
This is an updated review. Besides long wait times, Marni provides excellent customer service!
The customer service was not clear with payment plan. I was told to shut up. How rude. I was disappointed with our service.
Junk and they take no pride In cleaning items after they drop.
Bad service on the gun department the guy was rude. I was there waiting for him to finish when he says what do you want i sed i need to see a pistol and in a rude way he replys you got to wait for me to finish. Rude personal i was in seconds to flip out but its not worth it
Offered me $3 for a fully functioning windows 8 HP because it had stickers on it. Talked down to me like I was stupid, and overall gave their customers an attitude like they didn’t want anyone’s business.

People are always friendly and they seem to always have what I need.
Ghetto
I just went to this family dollar and it wasn’t open it was 10:09 it’s a Friday. Usually it has nice employees just not too helpful.
Was accused of stealing from here w/o proof and kicked out wasn’t even there for 2 whole minutes before I was wrongly accused!
I used to shop here allot, would actually drive farther to shop here because it was a better experience. But staff has gone down hill here. Lazy managers, rude managers, clueless cashiers… I think the company needs to clean house at this location…
Poorly organized and understaffed. If you happen to need to use the restroom I think there is a McDonald’s a Mike away. They offer no public bathroom.

For those who think Flesher Hinton Music is no longer serving the public with their wide selection of music services and supplies, I have some great news for you! They are still in business in Wheat Ridge on 44th Avenue near Harlan Street. If they don’t have what you need in stock, they will go the extra mile to find what you need. Check them out and discover for yourself how they can fulfill your musical needs.
Like always the services people were just great.
There’s parking at the new location. Really reasonably priced supplies. Not the best selection for buying instruments though. Since their relocation, seems they’re putting more emphasis on instrument repair. Still probably the best music supply shop in the area
The people employees are professional, knowledgeable, and ready to help!
As with any store like this, you can expect them to be salesmen, though they don’t push too hard and don’t avoid helping you find the lowest priced items.
The technicians are great, but I wish they had a bit more enthusiasm.
If you are testing out brass instruments or such, the practice room they put me in had too much reverb to get accurate samples, even with a recording device. I have yet to ask if they had a more acoustically dry room.
They can order sheet music and products, and have all the basics and many accessories for band musicians.
Just terrible experience! Purchased a new wood clarinet 5 months ago. Found out it was cracking, unfortunately happens if not taken care of, but not in the first 5 months.
Took 2+ months to fix, when we finally picked it up, some old guy in the store started telling my 16 year old daughter about keeping it greased every six months- lecturing her because it was so dried out! Finally stepped in and told him…we bought it here less than 5 months ago…in other words, you sold an old dried out clarinet for $2000.00. Will never ever step foot in this store again d/t the service dept.
Went in to check out acoustic guitars earlier today. Got an important call as I was about to tune a guitar I was checking out and the guy behind the counter just starts blowing into some sort of wind instrument seemingly deliberately because taking a quick phone call. So I hung up the guitar and just walked out.
But the guy who welcomed me when I walked in seemed nice.

Really do their customer the way it should be awesome
Good deals!
Of all the ez pawns within the area, this location has the best staff. I have been shopping all the ez pawns in the northern Denver metro area for 9 years and this one is the best. They are willing to negotiate on price and are also extremely friendly. Other locations don’t care because they simply are not paid enough to, however, this location still manages to truly care regardless.
Been here a few times to buy. One of the cleanest shops I’ve been into and the staff seems super friendly. Generally will wheel and deal on items out for sale.
I pawn stuff here all the time great staff. Wait time is inconvenient. But great customer service and works with you.
These people are theives. I tried to buy a ring on layaway and of course they sent me online info and of course I couldn’t log in and it didn’t recognize me and said I didn’t have an account and everytime I tried to call they put me on hold and then hung up on me then they told me I lost my layaway twice and my 200.00 because I was late making a payment that I couldn’t make because of them. Scam artists. I even tried contacting corporate and that was unsuccessful. That’s the last time I go to a pawn shop. I always heard they were scam artists and they are
Terrible customer service. Don’t really care for customers. Will never return horrible experience.
The skinny white guy with the glasses always low balls, but the other clerks always help me out and give me good deals on my items unlike the other guy who just rips people off seems like his favorite words is 10 or 20 bucks when I knoe my stuff is worth way more.
