Always has an interesting collection of merchandise and friendly staff
Quirky store with a nautical theme. Unusual items with reasonable prices. Cute store in a cute town.
I love the Tin Shed! I come here every year and I will continue to come here to look at all the nautical treasures.
Price to high go check all the other shops in apalachacola
Cool stuff. Cranky employees
Tons of trinkets and unusual gifts. Really liked our visit here.
Buyer beware!
This shop had some fun and quirky items, however the lady that was checking us out was a shyster. I found something that had two tags on it that said eight dollars. When I got to the register she told me it was supposed to be $18 and wouldn’t honor the tag. She tried to charge me $8 for a $4 shell not once, but twice. My niece purchased a box with some fishing lures in it that had a price tag of $2 on it, the lady charged her $17. Because it was all on one ticket we didn’t notice the up-charge until we we’re almost home.
I will never go here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you do decide to purchase something from the store, I highly recommend you watch her write up your ticket like a hawk.
Drove like a banshee all the way from Chief land to get there before closing (website says 6:00pm). Arrived at 5:10 to find the placed locked up. If you advertise specific times, should be open those times. Looks like an interesting place to get the type of items my husband (boat captain) and I are looking for. Suggest calling ahead.
Went to The Tin Shed today for the first time in 2 or 3 years. The only positive thing I can say is the new location has much better AC than the old location. However, the quality of items has drastically gone downhill. The majority of the items are no longer authentic, in fact many still have tags that say “Made in Indonesia.” It seems that a store that prided itself on unique/authentic/nautical items is now full of cheap touristy junk. Also, at checkout the cashier asked us for a different payment method than AMEX because “they charge too much.” That’s the cost of doing business! I was tempted to turn around and walk out. If you have a sign listing it as an accepted form of payment, you should honor it. Probably will not return. Such a shame as it was a favorite store of mine in Apalach.

Great show today. A true retrospective of the 3 decades of folk music (50s,60s and 70s). Ken Sidemore show not only his talent but also his love for the genre. Their other performers this season brought the talents to highlight different musical genres. Small intimate venue, very reasonably priced and a great way to spend 2 hours on a Sunday afternoon.

Great store with a great owner. Grabbed a super cute little strummer for the cottage. PERFECT
Wonderful, warm music environment. If you are visiting Apalachicola, Eastpoint, Saint George Island or the forgotten coast, don’t miss Wombat Sound at Cat Pointe Music in Eastpoint.
