Incredibly friendly staff and top tier store organization. Highly recommend this place for any of your music needs.
Knowledgeable local music shop that provides rentals and music lessons alongside an array of strings, wind, percussion and audio equipment.
this is nice Music Store they assist you right away
Pricey sometimes but they’ll sometimes have great deals
Don’t come here all Racist people working here and bad customer Service, not recommended at all.
Few years back, my daughter took in her flute for repair. The man saw the flute and said some very insensitive things about how one can own a “cheap” flute that was not meant to be refurbished. My daughter came home crying. The flute was her 4th grade birthday present from me.
I called late in the evening and was thinking it will be closed, no it was not! Went there to buy a guitar, and it was a very wonderful experience. The owner, spent more than 30 minutes showing guitar, playing, explaining pro and con. Decided to buy one , he showed my son how to tune, take care of it, offered a bit discount. And price was reasonable. What I liked is the passionate dealing with customer. He would not know I will buy anything at all or not. It is a wonder such business survived so far, only dealing with Guitar! It will be sad if such personalized service and touch goes missing. Looking for a Good or great guitar? Jims music was recommended to me by a professional guitar player/teacher. I would recommend too! And yes, may be please call ahead, with sometimes there is one person running the shop, guess need to go for quick lunch erc.
Support local music stores. Jim is fair and knowledgeable. Dealing with for over 20 years.
Jim is great when he gets around to your project. Excellent work, but you do have to wait. He is the only one left in town who does a fret job for a reasonable price. His inexpensive guitars are also quite nice.
Had a good time looking a the instruments and trying them out. Jim was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
For now, only chq or cash accepted
Venden artículos musicales nuevos pero mas de segunda
Jim has a lot of stuff, you have to stop by and try a few instructions.
My music teacher recommends this store but I’ve been here three times and it’s never open.
Well…it’s there, tried to pay a visit at 1240 on a Thursday, sign on the door said closed, no hours posted. Wasted lunch hour.
I showed up with money at noon on a Wednesday. The shop was closed. Mom and pops retail stores like this can’t understand how they go out of business. Guitar Center is open and ready to do business right now. Jim’s is not. I posted a photo of his business hours on his storefront for your convenience.
Best place to rent the music instruments in the fremont area. They have large collection. For kids from Beginning to advanced bands. The people in store are very friendly and always ready to help.
Good selection
We rented couple of instruments from C& L Music and we are happy about it. These folks seems to be slightly cheap compared to others in fremont, pleasanton, San Ramon areas(when we researched).
Also couple of time the instrument had issues with soldering(which used to happen in the rentals, as they are not brand new) the C& L folks fixed it without any charges and sometimes they even replaced the instrument within 24 hours of time. Our musicians are happy and same with us too.
Rentals are kind of mid, but the teachers here are pretty good and helpful.
Had good experience and got all the required items.
Send a one month old flute for a repair (Yes, this is our mistake, we should have sent the flute to the manufacture). When we pick it up, scratches are all over the places and even there are some small dents. The service is very unprofessional and we regret to go to this store.
Cool friendly shop with a good mix of new and used records. Vinyl is always clean and well organized. Definitely recommend.
Small quaint shop with big personality and even cooler records. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. You can really feel the care they put into each record. I’ll definitely be back.
Good environment, amazing staff and Better selection!
A cute little music store in Niles. The buy used albums too.
Cool guy bought my vinyl albums was expecting more for them but oh well they weren’t in the greatest shape
Nice selection of new and older vinyl. If you want to hear a record just ask and the clerk will play it for you. Definitely take the time to go through the $2. record bins, some excellent treasures in those boxes.
With all the good reviews here, I guess the guy got hints to be nice. Selling here is an awful experience, he is rude to the max ! Told him what I had over the phone he seemed excited, got there he told me it was doodoo, in un nice words. Go to half price books, very kind fare people, they paid good price for my collection , proving it was not doodoo !
