Ash did a great job fixing my daughter’s violin. He charged me exactly what he quoted me and gave me instructions. The store is clean and looks great. They also do some lessons here too.
Ash is an excellent teacher and worked well with my highly anxious ten-year old son. He always felt better about himself after his lessons with Ash. Great people running a great business!
Love this locally owned music store and the amazing family who own it. Their product is high quality and affordable!! They have many options for lessons and I feel they are very reasonable for what you get!

Coming from Portland, a total foody-town, we were really spoiled and worried about not finding great spots here at the end of the road – but Fritz Creek Deli and Bakery (which also doubles as a small grocery store , liquor store, gas station, and post office) has some of the most AMAZING food. Not just for Alaska – but seriously gourmet food.
They have some grab-n-go foods if you want to pack a picnic. You can either muscle in on one of their few tables or take it back home. They have fresh bread and good variety of snacky foods.
The Deli’s dessert case is a decadent delight: chocolate eclairs, carrot cake, cinnamon roles, and fruit gallete are amongst their many fresh-baked selection. Bonus: BBQ pulled pork!
Perfect apricot rugelach today. Slightly caramelized, flakey, mmm. I should have taken a picture before I ate it.
Great gourmet food
Very cool store!!! It offers so much with a store, restaurant, bakery, post office, liquor store and gas! We didn’t get a chance to try the food but maybe we’ll get a chance to get back.
I just payed $27 for two sandwiches, got home and it tastes like they used last weeks bread. Eww. Good thing I have a jar of mayo at home. What happened Fritz? Did your baker quit?

We were told this Store had amazing food & was “the place” to stop if you were staying in the Fritz Creek area. I cannot attest to the food, but I will say…..we will never know because we will never step foot in this Store ever again! RUDE! RUDE!! RUDE!!! Beyond an employee having a bad day!!!!!! Don’t walk in the wrong door and definitely don’t ask for any extra help! I cannot express enough how extremely RUDE this Store’s employee is!!!!!!
We Love Homer everyone has been so nice until we went to fritz creek General store. I will never go back the lady behind the counter tonight has no customer service. She raised her voice and was very rude. She got upset at a friend of mine for walking in a door that was open and going from the liquor store to the otherside. The set up is very strange and it appears that it is a isle. Which happens to put you some what behind the counter. We both went threw the door because it is the door closest to the fuel pumps. There are 2 doors into the building apparently we used the wrong one. We bought fuel there and were planning on buying more supplies for our week stay but no thank you. I wish I hadn’t already pumped $75.00 of gas
It has giant closed signs out front. Like looks permanently closed. Such a bummer!
