Very friendly and helpful employees and great prices
I appreciated the lady helping me on getting the right grill and lighter fluid I needed.
The people that work here were very friendly and helpful thank you very much
Great place to run in and grab a snack or drink
Tried to go into the store just now for a few items and the doors were locked. There were about 7 other people who came and left within a few minutes. Probably not a good idea to lock the doors when you are supposed to be open.
Closed at 9:30 when the door says 10pm???
Decided to go to my local Family Dollar not only was I way overpriced for a product. There was 1 person to run the register with 3 people in line not social distancing and to top it all off tap pay was down in the middle of a pandemic so I had to go out to my car grab my card and come back in the store. I only get 30 minutes for lunch. Thanks Family Dollar for wasting my lunch.

I have Collected Records for 45-years and James is one of the MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE that I have met when it comes to records. I KNOW that James will be HUGELY SUCCESSFUL in the Record Business. I wish James LOTS OF LUCK in his New Business Venture.
Best record shop around! Great selection!
Amazing selection of vinyl, cassettes and CDs! Some rarities as well. Owner James is the best!!!
5. Jubal Instruments
Address: 1227 Bloxam Ave, Clermont, FL 34711 , Groveland , Florida , United States
After spending days searching for a good musical Instrument store, I finally found JUBAL at the Galleria at Soma, Robert is very knowledgeable and everything he has is very unique and selective guitars and accessories! I will definitely come back.
Great store with a fantastic selection of guitars and accessories. You will feel more welcome here than other “boutique” music stores. The owner is very knowledgeable and genuinely nice.
The people there are super nice and they have some really cool players that come around from time to time
This place is awesome. They are very knowledgeable and I trust them. I am so glad I stopped by and would highly recommend them.
Absolutely fantastic selection of musical instruments. Unbelievable low prices and only top quality merchandise. Pete and Kris are amazing and know everything I mean everything about the music genre. Stopping in there is a must!
Locally owned, has the “feel” of a real music store. From classics to new. Check out the Knaggs selection. This place is what a local shop should be. Pete has a good thing here.
Excellent service as usual
I recently had them repair my 1972 Guild acoustic. Great work and it plays much better! Thanks for all of their work
Great local shop, sharp staff reasonable prices
For the several thousands of dollars my family has spent at this business, I expect Pete to be friendly/pleasant towards us(at the very least), for life, but he clearly can’t maintain that. He started acting rude towards my mom some years back, and now me. For no apparent reason. I hope that keeping that sour attitude of yours is worth losing 20+ year customers who often went out of their way to spend money at your establishment and stay local. Weird way to treat people who earned you money. Avoid. He’s one of those guys who thinks everyone is a “democrat”. Super solid reason to push customers away.
8. Music Store inc
Address: 141 S Highway 27 Building 159, Citrus Tower Blvd Center, Clermont, FL 34711 , Groveland , Florida , United States
The entrance is hiding in the back but is a very good store!
Love the open mic and and my sons the music lessons
Store is very reasonable with their prices. And they are willing to get anything you need.
Helpful, knowledgeable, affordable
Rick was warm & friendly & it seems to have a nice stock of instruments. Tucked in the corner of the Staples building so it’s easy to drive right by without seeing it. Very little sheet music for vocalists so if that’s what your looking for don’t bother. They have an open mic night every 1st Saturday so I will come to one & see what it’s like.
Left them guitar to glue the neck, the estimation was way above market, that’s OK. I’ve decided to go to other store but during pick up I found scratches here and there. Lucky me-made a video when I did bring a guitar the 1st time. I am just disappointed- waste a month and no result. They did polish and removed scratches (not all as I found out in another store). Not a bad store with various instruments new and used, I even bought a bass, but I do not trust their guitar master. Rick is a good guy but the master is a 3rd party that occasionally appears and takes guitars home, where I guess and damage mine.
Long drive for nothing…called in advance to ask if they had what I was looking for available, “yeah, come in and check them out” is what I was told. I even looked online to see what was available. Got to the store and the music was Soo loud! The guy finally came over to help and actually had no real knowledge what so ever about the product he was trying to sell. I went out of my way to avoid a big box store and shop local..a MUSIC STORE and I knew more about the product from what I had scoured on google/Amazon.
Ended up ordering something on Amazon as a shot in the dark at least it had data I could go off of.
Would never suggest stopping in for any music needs. Sad.
I dropped off my instruments for a tuneup. I was quoted $280 and I said of course! Never had a problem until I went to pick them up! Two individuals whom I’ve never seen before were at the counter. My instruments were sitting aside ready for pickup. I told the man who asked how much I was charged $280. He goes to the back, gets someone else and she never addresses me but questions him in obvious skepticism $280 for all of this? She proceeds to go in the back, as if she’s out of range of my hearing, to call the owner and verify if I was telling the truth. Why would I lie? $280 is not a little bit. Then she proceeds to say we just wanted to make sure because we weren’t told. I should have been able to come in with my tickets, ID, and money and pick up my instruments! Not have to wait because of whatever PREJUDICE these people feel! That exchange alone is why I’ll NEVER return here! I’ll pay whatever for my instruments.
Edit–Response:
Rick B.,
You are correct–you were NOT there. I am aware that you are the owner and as the owner you FAILED to communicate with your employees. Either way, there were failures through no fault of my own. I shared MY experience, which you were not present for and you have ADMITTED was your fault. SHAME ON YOU! This ought to be a learning lesson in communication so that these FAILURES do not happen again in the future! DO BETTER!
Their pricing is ridiculous. $250 for a used Ibanez acoustic that’s missing the electronics? That guitar sells for $350 brand new!! Also, after reading the reviews, I would bet $100 that most of the 5 star reviews were made up by the owner. Absolutely pathetic.
9. McDonald’s

La comida siempre está caliente y es 24 hrs.
Good
Charged me wrong amount
Slowwwww drive thru seriously over 20 minutes in line. Poor girl cashier looked pitiful and had now hiring signs guess they have hard time getting help
Is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to.
The managers are rude the crew is impolite the food is cold from being so slow and if it’s not cold it’s burned or its prepared wrong
Drive thru is the worst, always making you park and wait for your order.

Everyone at Family Music of Clermont has been wonderful. So helpful and knowledgeable. And so very kind as well. I never thought that I could learn something new at this age ( old ) , but it has been a delightful experience thanks to the teachers and staff. Thanks, and I recommend this awesome place to anyone interested in learning or sharpening your skills.
Everyone has been so friendly and amazing! My son loves his drum lessons.
Great place to learn an instrument! My daughter has been going for over a year and shes learned a lot!
I like the friendly atmosphere, which allows my kids to feel comfortable and express themselves freely. My kids look forward to going to their lessons each week. The instructors are great and communicate well.
Don’t recommend. Teachers are impatient, critical of parenting and just care about making you buy books versus teaching. Lost a months worth of classes because they have no make days. They used to have make up days on Saturdays but they just group you with random people instead of giving you that individualized attention that you’re paying for. When we couldn’t make it we were told to just attend class virtually…I mean not being able to make it is literally not being able to make it regardless if in person or virtually. Switched teachers a couple of times because they started to get fresh with us and owner decided to call us up to say that my boys weren’t a fit for the school. Instead of working with us like a professional business he insinuated that we were difficult…After three years of lessons for two kids, buying books after another and even payed a tune up and we were the problem…
Thankfully there’s tons of music options in the area. I suggest you go elsewhere.
There are cheaper and better instrument rental businesses in town. Went to get an instrument and I was given a very used dirty instrument that frankly I would be ashamed to rent out. I felt as if I had to refurbish the item before my child could use it. Went to return the instrument and the owner was very gracious in returning our fund to us. Talking to the owner I figured out that they were pushing out to inexperienced parents the worse instruments they had in the store without giving us other options which were available. Lost my business and I hope that of many other. So buyer beware!
This is a fantastic place to find great vinyl. Thoughtful and knowledgeable owner and staff. Will definitely return.
Super cool!! Justin was awesome!!
Huge selection and very friendly staff. Hours and hours of crate digging will commence if you have the time. Bargain bins a plenty and some nice gems on the walls. Ask about special ordering.
Fun place. Kinda on the expensive side.
Left with a couple fun things to listen to.
Was very glad to see how busy and supported the shop was.
Definitely stop in!
Great little vinyl shop attached to an indy type of market. The shop itself is great for a crate nerd . It also has an area to purchase various drinks, an oxygen bar, as well as knickknacks. I’ll be back again.
A bit small, but interesting place to visit. Quaint litte part of clermont fla.
The owner transferred his rights to some clueless kid always on his phone behind the counter. I entered with a guest for the first time and he didn’t even notice to greet us or didn’t care. We walked around for a bit and he never lifted his head as he giggled toward his screen. I had to walk up to him and ask for a specific record and he said he had no clue what his stock was. He was the manager. The place is also very disorganized and dirty and located at a very shady inconvenient hill that has no sign. I had to look up a local record store. It is also in the back of a building, not the front. It’s very tiny and filled with recycled bargain bin records and almost no new releases. The prices themselves are also through the roof and some even scalped. All the reviews are either paid, bribed or by the owners’ friends and family. I know some record stores bribe their customers to rate 5 star for some measly 10% discount. If I remember correctly this is one as such. Everything about this shop is exactly why the physical world of vinyl is dying. Absolutely no community and is the yard sale equivalent where records come to die. Don’t waste your time with records scrapped from the trash and business-oriented resellers with uneducated staff that don’t even know what they sell. You’re better off buying online for fair prices, customer service, and the cleanliness of your own home without having to waste a dime on gas.
Edit: To an employee who responded to my review, it’s nice to know you decided to attempt to insult me to feel like your rack shack place will do you any better, yet I’m the one who needs medication? Lol. This was a graceful review, so be thankful for that. I decided to be honest to potential customers, be mature enough to accept this place has every flaw in the books known in the vinyl community. Good luck to this joke of a business. Also, your comment has been reported to Google. Have a nice day 🙂
After deciding to sell many of the records I collected over the decades, I called Triangle Vinyl to see if they were interested. I was told which days I could bring them in but would have to leave them for “evaluation” because they were so busy and so backed up on sorting and evaluating. In June, I took two medium sized boxes of records in, received an email confirming the drop off and was told there were 4 collections in front of mine. In July, I emailed the store for an update. No response. In August, I again emailed them. It is now the end of Sept and there has been no response from anyone at Triangle Vinyl. Obviously, I made a major error in taking my collection to them. Should be no stars but without at least one, you can’t post.
Visited today (12/30/22) and was surprised to see they moved. There was little to indicate the new location as well. The record selection is not what it used to be and records are priced too high for my taste. I hope they make necessary changes to get it back to its true potential.
I used to enjoy going to this shop when it was originally on highway 50, then moved to 8th street in Clermont. The previous owner knew what he was doing and made it a great record shop with a wide and regularly updated selection. It was an inviting place. Today it didn’t fit any previous experience.
I don’t think I’ll be back for a while. Here’s hoping it gets back to its glory.

Best band in lake county for sure. This band is full of talented musicians.
Typing with feelings so if I use poor grammar ignore that [REDACTED] I think SLHS Bands should get more funding or really, the school boards should give more attention to the arts as they enrich the students lives and help them socialize etcera.. Personally I feel REALLY embarrassed of my past performances but I’m glad I got to be apart of the color guard my senior year. I met some great people and I loved hearing music and viewing performances and even. I feel like I should have chosen percussion instead lol my bad if you see this Mr.Wright I felt upset at myself because I struggled to march in time (y’all I’m writing this as I struggle to finish copying down College Algebra placement test on the genius annotations page for Various Methods of Escape by Nine Inch Nails I tried multiple learning styles just recently found out I’m neurodivergent so you guys need to find out what way(s) you learn the material best) and My advice to future band students is that if you receive criticism always try to think outside the box and see what you can do to reach out and don’t be afraid to ask for help an (to be edited later)
17. TR Music & Voice Lessons
Address: 2214 Caledonian St, Clermont, FL 34711 , Groveland , Florida , United States
So far I’m satisfied with the instructor his name is julio suero, the best thing is I don’t need to drive to him he comes to my house my son is happy I recommended TR music lessons
Multiple guests commented how courteous and friendly he was and were amazed how much he learned about Mom even though they never met in life. That’s so beyond a mere hired talent, that’s a pure soul. You wouldn’t think that you could improve on the beauty of Garden of the Gods in the Spring, but Michael’s artistry made the day memorable and special.
This place defines quality and customer service . They are family friendly and are always eager to answer any questions or concerns relating to your lessons or musical instruments. Nick is a stellar Guitar instructor , he is patient and takes his time and breaks down steps methodically and really simplifies the whole learning process .
