My oldest son bought a trumpet from here a few years back. It’s an excellent place with knowledgeable staff! The wide variety of instruments you’ll find here are very nice and of high quality.
I was told there wasn’t any places in our area that carried a wide selectiion of music accessories. Well, I found Leitz Music on accident. I was looking for a Dunlop Cry Baby Wah Pedal. I called and staff was beyond helpful not to mention their prices! They have a wide selection of almost everything from acoustic guitars, bass, drums and even a wide range of effect guitar pedals. These guys know their stuff! I thank god I was in a rush to pick up my daughter from school 40 miles from their location and I got a flat tire as soon as I pulled up to their store , if not because of that I would have stayed a few hours playing around with stuff and spending a lot more! Great knowledgeable staff, great wide selection of items and unbelievable prices! Thanks guys for coming through for me! Bulls On Parade sounds awesome with that wah pedal. :o)
Came in there looking for something for my niece. Very accommodating staff, super friendly and military friendly. They took their time to hook up the electric kit and let us play for awhile. This is what I love about family owned music shops. Loved the personal touch!
Nice little store. Was hoping they would have a used electric guitar section but seemed to be all new mostly mid range guitars.
Very disappointed in the two salesman. Didn’t care if I bought a guitar or not. Very poor attitudes. Not interested in me at all. I was being friendly and told them that I couldn’t play very good and I have bought a guitar from them in the past. I finally asked them to think about one for me and call me back. I said do you want my phone number and he dropped a pad and pen in front of me. My friend who was with me said I don’t think they want your business. Iam 64 from Atlanta and just wanted a guitar while I was visiting my daughters. I’m a retired paramedic firefighter and those salesman need help.
Gemini AS211SP for the price it’s awesome. It’s all you need for around the house or jamming with your buds. I sincerely recommend this little gem. For the price you can’t go wrong.
Went to buy a guitar here. Wasn’t much selection but I still found a few I was interested in. Waited over 30 minutes to try to test them out and somebody decided to use the test room as a practice room. Sign says 5 minutes but they were playing the same guitar the entire time. I ran out of time and had to leave. Ordered guitar online instead. Would have preferred to buy local but they didn’t seem to care that somebody was trying to buy a new guitar and amp.
Bought some cables and stuff from you guys when you had the store in pier park was great now you closed it cause you say it too expensive well guess what your a music shop stuff ain’t cheap. Looks like we just need guitar center or musician’s friend out here they take care of their customers and will not close their stores complaining there to expensive to keep open how much money do yall make off your inventory and you can’t keep your stores open thats sad!!! And oh not to mention yall also don’t know how to stay open decent hours like why close at 5? Most people ain’t off till then how you expect them to buy anything? Maybe thats why yall had to close the one shop
Dropped $180.00 in cables and accessories and punk behind the counter told me that their bathrooms aren’t for the public and I should take a leak in the Alley…..I’ll drive an extra 120 minutes to Guitar Center before I shop here again. Wow unbelievable!!!

Awesome staff.. Very knowledgeable. Clean store and fair prices. Will come back for any music related needs for sure
Great and very very helpful
Local favorite. Been there as long as I can remember. Never been inside but had my share of poor boy window shopping dreams.
Very knowledgeable and professional
I went in looking to switch from viola to cello. Paul was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for an instrument.
I’ve had a few dealings with this establishment over the past 10 years and overall am not very happy. The first time, I had them refurbish my wife’s mid-level flute, which I believe they contracted out to another location in the FL panhandle. The service rendered it playable again, but the technician scratched the silver in a few places. More recently we rented a French horn from them for my son. After a year, they would aggressively solicit us by phone and text to upgrade the rental to a nicer horn (at a rate of over $150/month). They continuously addressed me by the wrong surname and/or salutation even after I offered corrections. Furthermore, they mislead my wife and I about the credit we would acquire through rental towards the potential purchase of an instrument. This benefit is extremely limited and restrictive! The guys working in the shop were nice and helpful, so I have to believe that all of this is really an issue with management/ownership. That said, I can’t recommend them as a good music store.
Update: Thank you for your response. Just to clarify, I understand the cost of these instruments quite well. My wife and I just do not feel like a 7th grader is worthy of an instrument that retails for roughly $5-6k and felt that the sales calls were far too pushy. With regard to the flute incident, this happened many years ago, and I did reach out to you by phone. I was transferred to the repair technician, who explained that the cause of the damage was difficulty in disassembling the keys. No offer was made to polish or repair the scratches at that time, and I’m not even sure if this could be realistically done.
I have called Lamar’s person # that was given. me by the school Numerous times, as if this date, I have not received any form of response. Initially we went to band night ordered starter kit. Finally ended up going to Metro Music. They were very helpful. I now have everthing needed.
So bad my child had to experience a bad start to something that is so wonderful . Go to Metro Music, or their other affiliates, you’ll be happier.
Accounting department is lacking. Starting with their company rep incorrectly completing Rental Agreement, billing errors (which I called to correct), followed by their text messages threatening repossession without the courtesy of a phone call has led yo more headache than it’s worth.

Had a fantastic experience at Tadlock Piano. Jason and Christy were so knowledgeable and helped me pick the right piano for me. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone!
You guys were SO helpful. Thanks for your excellent work you two.
They charged a church a couple hundred dollars to come out and fix a problem with a warranty covered instrument, and still didn’t fix the issue. Couple hundred dollars just to say, “sorry, we don’t know what’s going on and can’t help you”. If you can’t fix the issue with an organ/piano you sold, you don’t charge them then, especially if it’s warranty covered!
7. St Joe Music Store

Great store. Very entertaining, and has great service.
DO NOT BUY from this store. I ordered two Boulder Creek basses with cases online, one fret less and one fretted. Owner Dave called me the next day to say the fretted one was on backorder. Within the next few days I learned that the entire amount had been charged to my card and the order had never been turned in. The only thing Dave had in stock was the two cases which he shipped. Owner Dave said he was going to ship the fretless but it never came. Long story short, I bought the fretless from another dealer while owner Dave promised me “with all his heart” that he would refund my money. Then Owner Dave “went dark” an the money never came. Fortunately, my bank settled a dispute for me and I got my money back. Owner Dave ripped us off. Not an honest man!
