Best recording/rehearsal studio on Maui for sure! The owners Scott and Jahsun are incredible and great to work with. Three floors of musical magic right in the heart of Haiku. Who wouldn’t want to record or rehearse at the best spot surrounded by Maui paradise! Store and restaurants in building. They have a fridge and bathroom too.

Such a great little health conscious store stocked with a surprisingly large selection groceries..I come here for the micro greens,sunflower sprouts and on occasion a piping hot cup of organic coffee (the1/2 organic too)

I love this little store, a few things here are really expensive compared to other local stores. However, i volunteer near there and I love that I can get some stuff to make dinner and grab some wine or beer along with green cleaning supplies without going all the way to Paia. We are vegan, and appreciate all the cruelty-free items sold here.
I will never forget. This place is very magical very interesting good people.
Love the different variety of items….Coconut Glens vegan ice cream was there.

Be sure to go early for propane, they turn it off when they want even though they are open. Drove an hour cause only place for miles on a Sunday, and was turned away because they just “shut off” the propane. How about stop being lazy and “turn on” the magic switch. Unknowledgeable idiots. Each employee will ask you if you need help or need to find something. If they have 5 employees working, that’s 5 people who will ask you the same question within 3 minutes, which is totally annoying. That’s not customer service. This place needs to close down. Just cuz someone asks if they can help, doesn’t mean they know what they are doing. just dumb.
I want to like this store, because I like to support local businesses and all. However, every time I stop by they do not have what I am looking for. There are lots of empty shelf spaces and pegs which means that either the business is struggling or the management is not good at maintaining inventory. Instead of shopping here, I now go to Ace Hardware in Pukalani. It is a bit further of a drive but they always have what I need.

The only music shop on Maui. I spent a lot of money here on instruments. However, it is expensive. no competition sucks on Maui.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
Wide variety of instrument TYPES here yet a very limited selection in terms of brands available. Speakers are very overpriced. Microphone selection is almost completely absent, absolutely zero equipment geared for DJs, no vinyl merchandise that I could see, no stylus’ or slipmats, guitar selection was literally only guitars and 80% were Epiphone, the rest were Fender or Squire. No Jackson. No Spectre. I didn’t see a single Bass anywhere in the store. Picks are well priced however they are double the cost of any mainland guitar/music store I’ve ever been to.
Disregarding some snobby customers/regulars comments and an extremely racist remark referring to me as a terrorist, this shop is perfect for a gentrified Hawaiian or any white person from the southern United States to come and talk story/trash with some not-so-local-locals.
The clerk was pretty friendly but followed me around the store after I bought two of the only type of jazz picks they had in stock as if I was going to pocket an amplifier… Won’t be returning.
I suggest ordering online or going to Kihei/Lahaina/any other guitar store for your needs. PROFESSIONAL DJs NEED NOT STOP BY THIS ONE.

I’m sorry but I’ve had a couple of rough experiences at bounty. I wanted to buy an artist series Stratocaster. I explained that I had looked online and was wondering if they could match the price or come close? I was told…
“If you can find it online you should just order it there, it’s easier.” I did explain that I like to support local businesses … but the sales guy was less than interested, and he just ended the conversation by walking away . Boy did I feel naive! I will say that I went online and ordered a nice guitar with free shipping and it was at my door in no time. I’ve since ordered an amp and two more guitars… all online without talking to Bounty. I have to confess that all experiences were “easier” than dealing with Bounty.
I just got off the phone with them and again I can’t believe the attitude. I explained that I was going to ship some guitars to the mainland, and did they have any guitar boxes that they were going to recycle or throw away? If so I would like to reuse them…you know go “green”. I’m not planing to ship for a couple of months.
“no” we don’t have any of those boxes…I was told, but we will sell you a Taylor box for 20$. They hung up on me before I could explain that I can get a bundle of 5 boxes for 8$ (online) with free shipping, so 20$ for 1 box is … well typical Bounty. I’m not really sure what the bad attitude is at Bounty? It is true that you can buy online for quite a bit cheaper than what Bounty offers on almost every single item they carry (this includes shipping costs).
Honestly Bounty seems disinterested and even lazy sometimes. I still go in and look every once in a while, but I don’t feel compelled to spend my money there.
1 star because, really it’s not worth the head ache to drive into town to put up with bad attitude!
I’ll give another star because a couple of the staff members are very nice… so it’s not a total waste of time…
I recommend that you do what I do which is… I just sit at my computer with a hot cup of coffee and shop away.. (go Prime!).

Good place to stop on the road to Hana, they serve good coffee, food, and a well managed place to take quick break
A pretty good spot to rest or eat on the road to Hana! It’s especially great for families because 1) it sells lunchables and juice for an excellent price, and 2) there are decent bathrooms. The empanadas at the cafe are also pretty good, although a little pricey for what you get (average for Maui). The store also has decent bakery items, like scones (American style) and muffins.
Parking: The lot looks like it can easily hold 20 cars
Kid-friendliness: There’s an open space and decent bathrooms. Plus lunchables!
Homemade pastries
Delicious food, but their menu is nothing like what is pictured on the “Menu” pictures here. Menu included avocado toast and a breakfast burrito, both of which were great, but don’t expect to get acai bowls or any of the other items you see in the menu section. Good people.

Cute pit stop! Apparent their food is amazing. Staff are friendly. Lots of options for fodo and drink. Friendly staff. Good place to fuel up before the road to Hana.

Nice little hardware and garden supply store in Haiku Maui. They carry a lot of organic gardening products, which is appreciated in this part of the island. You can also buy paint, nut and bolts and all those hardware things you need when doing home improvements. Why drive all the way into Kahului when you can get it right in Haiku? Friendly staff will help load your car if you’re getting stocked up.
The employees do not wear face masks. Extremely selfish and evil behavior during a pandemic. Fortunately the other garden stores in Haiku care about the safety of others and wear masks.
Never going back to Haiku Hardware.
Went in to get some garden implements today; was amazed to find some employees NOT wearing face masks! I left. I will not be back. Any store doing direct business with the public that doesn’t have the respect and good regard for their customers health will not get my business.
The owner’s response (on line) was that wearing a mask protects me. That is perhaps 5% true. Being exposed to her or her employes cough, sneeze, etc. might give me 5% chance of avoiding the virus. However, 95% OF MY WEARING A MASK IS TO PROTECTS OTHERS, NOT ME. Thus the owner is misinformed. And that she is exposing her customers to potentially deadly risk. THAT’S UNACCEPTABLE.

Amazing great place. Natives are hospitable and knowledgeable.
Funky hippie store at the edge of the market/mall. The proprietor hand makes pillows and such with “local” style fabric. Purchased a few items, then sat at the outdoor table and had a delicious steak burrito at the taco truck accross the way. There are other food trucks in the area.

Pretty comprehensive selection for a rural grocery. Deli also.

Poor customer service from tonight’s cashier, ‘Sandra’. My daughter and I weren’t aware of the closing time. The cashier was literally shouting ‘we’re closed bring your items up froooont!!!’ while walking past the isle we were standing at. Very rude instructions rushing customers out of the store.

So far this is the best coffee I’ve had relatively close to Haiku. It was good enough but not great, with a fairly long wait. Better than Crema and far better than Baked on Maui.
ALWAYS poor customer service. Nobody in store, I ordered a simple sandwich, took over 20 min to make. Every time at the counter there are girls on their phones, that seem like they don’t want to even be there. Last time I eat there. I won’t miss much
I thought a breakfast wrap costed $13 (which is already a lot). When it came time to pay it came out to $18 before tip! The most mediocre breakfast burrito I’ve ever had and the most expensive. You’re better off going to Colleen’s. This place is way to expensive for what they are serving. Extremely let down. Don’t go here.
Breakfast wrap came out to almost $19 and was basic at best. Finally got around to looking at receipt and realized the cashier automatically added 18% gratuity to the bill. Pretty shady that they auto grat and don’t say anything so they get extra on top of it. Definitely will not be coming back
My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Miss Aubrey since before she could reach the piano pedals. Miss Aubrey has an amazing way to make learning music fun that keeps us coming back to her. Thank you Miss Aubrey for sharing your talents with our children.
We enrolled our then 15 month old into the Baby Group Music class as a different way to engage with her. She loved it! The activities were engaging and it was fun to have her socialize with children who were around her age. Ms. Rita is kind and engaging. We are looking forward to when group activities start, and, even moreso, for when our daughter can join the keyboard lessons!
La Ti Da is a great music school! It’s very welcoming and interactive for children.
My daughter has a lot of fun and learns so much with Aubrey. She can’t wait to go back to class every week !
