Very knowledgeable and friendly staff or he may be the owner..not sure…but was very nice and helped me get my guitar where it needed to be and just all around good experience…I will be making this my music store
Baker Music Shop is Columbus’s hometown shop for music! It has been here for many years and is such a great and helpful small local business. I got my instrument here for middle school and I’m now almost 30! I have used them ever since for any musical needs! Wonderful staff and very helpful!
I got my first instrument from Mr Baker when I started in band many years ago and I have gotten all my kids instruments from him. My youngest is now off to college and still comes home to Mr Baker with her instrument needs. He is the best hands down for any musical need.

My granddaughter and I went in Saturday around 11:30. They were busy but we were greeted at the door with hello we will be with you shortly. Purchased some items for cleaning her trumpet. Courteous service and reasonable prices. We will be back for future purchases.
Will not rent if your an Alabama student. Willing to see not rent. School told us to go there. They said they wish they could. Men were very nice.

Baker was rude to us. No good customer service. Didn’t even speak when we walked into the store. We were the only two customers no reason not to speak. I guess they are only nicer to “certain” customers. Long story short I wouldn’t recommend shopping there plus the instruments are old. IJS.
