Has an outstanding stop at Hartwell Starbucks, cashed in some of my stars and the staff person was very helpful. Great Carmel Macchiato, a nice protein box, and excellent service.

Went to claim my free drink for my birthday. I ordered a caramel ribbon crunch creme Frappuccino, but they gave me a regular coffee one. It was too late before I realized as we had already left the drive thru. I couldn’t drink my drink and feel like I wasted my gift. This was all after they were out of the drink I had originally wanted.
Caught a bad day… 2 attempts at a caramel macchiato… failed. Very gracious barista’s, but maybe in need of some training.
They were out of an ingredient for my drinks. He offered a substitute and then charged me $1.60 for the substitute. Poor customer service. After I expressed my dissatisfaction he removed the charge as if it were a favor. You didn’t have the ingredients not me! Smh and this drink should not be too hot to drink 10 min later either.
My god this place is slow…… avoid if you need to get anywhere!

I need to purchase another wheelchair I have to have a wheelchair and they only have one and some of the older staff are very rude also I don’t know who prices this stuff but they price it individually and when it should be priced as a set and some of the stuff I can buy cheaper at the store

Love this particular Goodwill.
It is a great place. The employees are really nice. Im in there everyday. Everyday I find something new and/ or interesting. They are constantly putting things on the shelf. You never know what you are gonna find in there. Prices for the most part are reasonable. I have found a few thing priced a little high but it’s still reasonable

Cashier needed help. Managers have complete control but sit in their offices. Finally came out to assist. The kicker, he didn’t even acknowledge or apologize to me the customer for the inconvenience or long wait.
Manager was very grumpy. Telling a customer to take hangers off clothing while in line is rude and he lost the sale because that customer left. I had already paid or I would have walked out. Treating customers like that is inexcusable. Now let’s talk about pricing! Ridiculous! Dollar store items priced at $5 is an insult to the customer. Broken trash needs to go in the bin, not in the shelf. We have spent a lot of money at this store, but they lost us as customers today!
This is the only store in Hartwell that you’re not allowed to use the dressing rooms to make sure the clothes fit prior to purchasing. They have a no return policy, so if you misjudged your size, you’re out the money. Won’t be returning.

Good coffee, lots of outdoor seating, offer oatmilk and almond milk non dairy options. Would get 5 stars except they have no vegan baked goods.
The coffee is excellent but the food needs serious work…. Except the quiche…those are good

This was second visit. My husband and I ordered a large brewed coffee of the day. They had enough for one cup but waited 10 min for second cup. This happened the first time we was there. I would think they would keep this checked and brew another pot. They served it from a thermos type dispenser. Would have been nice if they would have let me know and I would have canceled my order.

It’s a fairly good store although not everything is done up to par.
I try to enjoy shopping there but when it comes time to check out they have more self check outs open than cashiers to ring you up. I don’t do self check out for many reasons. 1 that saves them from having to hire the help they need in their stores to take care of the customers that come and spend their money that help’s pay their salary. 2. They don’t give you any kind of discount for ringing, bagging your own stuff. I know last time l was there wait was terrible but l won’t use their self check out, l’m not on their payroll. Now if they should decide to give a discount on your total at self check out because trust me every time that’s used, less cashiers on floor helping to ring people up. I just truly feel ever since Mr. Walton died the store’s have been going down when it comes to making your customers feel appreciated. I just wish they would do the hiring needed to take care of the people that help to keep the store open. When a store has too many empty cashiers but lot’s of self check outs their sending the wrong message to the people that spend their money in their stores. They make me feel like their not worried because they have the market cornered but l remember a time when K-Mart thought the same and we all know what happened there. No one should have to stand in line for 15-20 minutes to get checked out because the owners are too cheap to hire the proper help and putting in self check out so they know some people will use them so they can get out of there. Shame on Wal-Mart! This goes on even during special occasions that they know their going to be very busy. They really do need to do better customer care. It’s hard on some older people having to stand in the long lines. I keep hoping that one day they will do better. I just don’t shop there now unless l just have too. Dollar General and Family Dollar cover’s most of my needs. So shout out to head person/owner start caring for your customers like your Father did. It’s just a shame. Just saying how l feel.
Tell you what. How about I start a consistent “liked it” for big corp when someone really stands out to me? This way I stay safe from being a hypocrite but can also make certain people know what’s going on where I have been. I assume it is ok to type her name once because it was on her public name badge, but let’s just say the kindest 70’s something young spirited and most honest person I had the pleasure of meeting working in the fitting area at the time. She, I say she because she referred so to herself not as an offense please always assume this is so of me, took my call and went and searched through an enormous box full of plastic sacks to find our card I had forgotten in a bag as I left the store and had it waiting for me when I arrived searching. Not to mention the enormous amount of her own responsibility she was making seem like cake so who knows how much time she really had to help me? But she smiled and scolded me a bit to make certain I was not having trouble remembering. She was not even the least amount annoyed by having helped and she gave me tears to think about how patient my wife must be with all my tiny stupid things like throwing away our card in the store. How about thanks also for the obvious difference in that you are taking your parking lot and lighting, lot security and cleanliness, and the remodeling and function of your store so stand out seriously from literally any other just sloppy shop Walmart I have seen over the past several years now. And thanks for hiring people with character and perspective. I do like your store, and we will travel the extra time to come there I think from now on.

Incredible music and atmosphere, tonight they had a group cover Vince Guaraldi’s Charlie Brown Christmas album. The men and women’s bathrooms have apparently become gender-neutral since the last time I came here, but neither of the sinks work. Nothing says the holidays like sinks that won’t turn on in a public music venue.

We drove to town with our two little boys that were excited about playing in the play area, to find that McDonald’s does not play by its own posted rules the play area was closed an hour early, sad times

Best thrift prices in town and the proceeds go straight to the local community!! They run a food pantry that distributes to Seniors as well as families right here in HARTWELL. They also aide burn out victims of house fires and foster children, etc. Volunteers and workers are always pleasant and helpful. BRING YOUR CASH THOUGH. No credit/debit accepted.

I took one of my guitars there for a repair and it ended up taking a month to get it back, even though I was originally told it would be a week, however, that is not a problem because the guitar was a Floyd Rose and he had a bit of trouble finding the correct parts for the repair. So I don’t hold that against him. However, his employees don’t know anything about what’s going on as far as guitar orders and repairs, for instance, a couple days after the initial estimate on time I sent my mom to go pick it up, (I work till 6 and Stan’s closes at 6) and this one employee (Eric I think) charges her for the repair and sends the guitar home, so I get home and pick the guitar up take it out if it’s case and notice, hmmm that guitar wasn’t fixed, in fact it’s in the same state as when I first dropped it off
Then I get a call from Eric saying
“Hey I think I accidentally sent that guitar home without it being fixed, can you bring it back?”
Which I did
Stan was very apologetic about the whole situation
But how do you not look at the guitar before you charge full price
With one string hanging loose and the bridge hanging out, you would think it would be obvious after even a quick peek!

Good selection of guitars and accessories. Keyboards – not so much (there were literally 2 on the floor and not the best quality). Should be called “Stan’s Guitar World.”
Even though I was actually looking for a keyboard, guitar prices were decent and I might have bought one if anyone had tried to help me.
I really wanted to ask about equipment rentals as well since I was only in town for a short while, but again, service wasn’t part of the display.
The staff member at the register was so preoccupied in conversation with another customer that I wasn’t even greeted when I came in, and he didn’t even bother with a “come again soon” when I left angry after about 10min of looking around and waiting.
This is the reason people skip over local small businesses to shop at national chains – like that “other” guitar store
