Josh’s guitar playing is simply the best. It is sometimes reminiscent of Larry Carlton (from the 70s). He’s an extremely charismatic performer. You can see that for yourself by checking out the “Grateful” (song title) live performance on Youtube with Próxima Parada. I use a track that Josh performs on for my podcast theme music and it adds so much to the vibe of my podcast. Josh is also a joy to work with.
Really inventive guitarist that is also very personable. Josh takes the time to talk to people and he gets very enthusiastic when sharing his process and gear. A wealth of knowledge and talent!
Josh Collins connects deeply with his audience, whether he’s playing his own original music, virtuosic Joe Pass solo guitar tunes, or with a band. He puts everything into his playing. It is a real treat to witness such a talented person.

4 stars because they do have a great selection, prices are fair, and the store is very clean and organized. The staff at first seemed helpful but then seemed impatient, as I was asked if I was ready to check out while I was still looking at guitars with an item in my hand. Caught me off guard as I felt rushed after only being in the store a couple minutes and wasn’t near the register. Other than that, they have a great selection of beautiful guitars and quality gear.
One star is too many. I realized after opening the package that I accidentally bought 12-string guitar strings. When I tried to exchange them for the more suitable 6 strings, I was told that once they were open, the sale is final. Speaking of final, that was my last purchase at this store.

I can only review the store in terms of the musical lessons. My daughter signed up for lessons and was given a start date of a month out. We showed up for the first lesson but there was no instructor. The front desk called the instructor who was on his way in for the appointment after ours. I was told I had to wait for the instructor to arrive before rescheduling. I accepted that there is a paperwork mix-up and rescheduled for the next week. Appointment attempt number two went fine. The instructor was on time and my daughter appreciated his efforts. However, lesson attempt number 3, resulted in no instructor again. This time I talk to the manager and she was slightly apologetic. Though I had emailed with the instructor previously, she claimed they could not contact me because they did not have a phone number. After a 66% no no-show rating I decided I’d had enough with the place. Your results may differ, and I hope they do. I have no doubt that if I would have missed appointments I still would have been billed for the time. But they had no respect for my time.
Never again will i rent here!!!! Very rude people running the counter and won’t take a cash payment!!! Thus place is not one I would recommend to anyone. Very sad
I bought an Avatar cab on eBay. It was in LA. I had my sister pick it up. She lives there. On my vacation I drove down to visit and got my speaker. 1×12 with a greenback. I have a 15 watt Marshall 6V6 combo from the 80s. My gawd it sounds fabulous. Much better than the V30 in the little open back combo. Funny thing is I live 10 minutes from Avatar.

I bought a 2×12 Contemporary guitar cabinet about a year ago – running an Orange Jim Root Terror through it. Sounds great, looks great, no issues, great people to work with!

Staff helped, but it felt like I was bothering him. The only instruments for sale were on consignment. They had a few new instruments mainly guitars and bass. It was darkish. This wasn’t the music store I remembered has a child. And it breaks my heart, at least they had a flute cleaning rod that I needed.
My nephew wanted a simple stater pack with guitar and amp,etc. Called Burt’s and they said they don’t ever have them and hung up.
Two people there. One was great and full of advice the other made us feel like we had no business being there because we weren’t master musicians. I will take my business and money elsewhere.

He goes above and beyond the call of duty from the most minimal head unit install (spent an extra 2 hours to make sure everything fit right and was perfect in my case), to the most decked out, glorious custom setup for your hot rod or any other cherished toy. He is a good honest guy that will do an amazing job, at a very fair and reasonable price. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Chris for all your mobile funsies!!! He didn’t do what he was supposed to do and he had my sons truck for over 9.5 hours. The drivers side door after he put it back together was missing two parts on the door and the window makes noise now when you roll it up and down.

This is a perfect example of you get what you pay for!
Several years ago I purchased numerous surgical instruments from H&H as the price point was reasonable and the instruments looked good.
Over the next couple of years the instruments started to break; the tips of instruments, elevators typically, would break off. At first these instruments were repaired for us. When this problem continued we no longer received the support we needed to address the problems. We decided not to purchase any further instruments from H&H as the quality of the steel and the service we were receiving was not commensurate with provision of quality care.
Most recently I called as the springs on one of our Rongeurs broke and I was looking for a replacement part. I was asked to send in the instrument so that they could repair it at a cost. It was simple matter of unscrewing 2 pieces and replacing them, therefore in order to reduce the costs and save on the back and forth of shipping I asked to purchase the springs from them and I would replace them myself. The last SEVERAL weeks have seen several of my emails to the service and sales department fall on deaf ears with no response. I was promised call backs but they were never received. Today, several weeks later, I called and was finally able to have someone call me back. Their answer is “we don’t sell those parts.” They have the part but are not willing to sell it to me, nor did they offer to send it to me.
Buyer beware! I would strongly suggest that you consider these sort of problems before investing in surgical instruments which should last for years. THEY WILL NOT!

Came in to work a deal on a Xbox one. They offered me a laughable price. Wouldn’t move on it at all. Turned them down. Went down the street to pawn INC. and was instantly given the price I wanted to pay for a used Xbox one. when the shops are buying xbox ones from 45 to 75 bucks $139 is a rediclous price. Xbox 1s is 169 new on sale. Greedy is what pawn one is about. Turn and burn. Edit: Now they are calling me on my personal cell since I left the review. You cant make it right I bought elsewhere! next call and I will report a harassment claim.

Really cool place with overstock of items mostly from Costco. Prices are super cheap. I gave it four stars because it has the feel of a thrift store, not really organized very well.
I cannot say I will shop here again! My husband bought me some shoes just a couple weeks ago that didn’t fit properly. I meant to exchange the, but between work, doctor’s visits, and my car being in the shop, it took me about 2 weeks to get back to the store. Not two months, TWO WEEKS. My bank account had just been drained by my mechanic and when I asked for a refund with receipt in hand, the assistant manager refused, saying their return policy is 7 days. I asked for an exception on a $14 return so that I could pay for my child’s medication I needed to pick up, but she refused. I am beyond disappointed. If you can’t make an exception on a perfectly reasonable request for a customer in need, I don’t want to be your customer. Won’t shop there again!!!
Update: There was no “exception made” with an exchange as it is not a return, and is allowed as it is part of your policy, according to your Assistant manager. I would have just as soon left the shoes there will nothing in return, as they are completely useless to me. Money was only offered after I shared my story publicly, so you can guess the driving force there. It’s ridiculous that you think I would come back after being treated so rudely!
Use to like this store the first few years they were opened. The owners were great along with customer service and prices. Recently in the past year their customer service has been horrible and the staff is rude. The prices for the quality of there product is priced too high. They mark it down just just a few dollars short of the original box store price. I will never recommend this store to anyone ever again.

The atmosphere is great but small. Their parking lot is small, and it can be a challenge to find parking. I was disappointed that they didn’t have white coffee.
It’s a little stuffy in there. I went in twice and it just gave me some creepy vibes. Everyone was friendly, the place was immaculate, and the coffee was perfectly adequate but I just had a weird feeling I walked into a cultist ceremony and I interrupted them.

Didn’t have drink I wanted
Slow service and I didn’t realize until after I left that I was suppose to put cream in my own drink. Maybe they should take the one second longer to put it in themselves. It was clean though.
We got 3 panini’s, nothing to rave about. $6.50-$7 for each one. Overpriced for what you got. They forgot one and I waited another 15 more minutes for them to make it. We got two unlimited ice teas but ran out of ice tea during our refill. The quiche was good. Has potential but in my opinion for the price we paid there are many places in CDA that have better quality food. The atmosphere was cozy though.

I had to replace my phone while I was on a trip in the area, but was extremely pleased with the service I received here!! They were extremely knowledgeable and courteous, without feeling like they were just trying to upsell me products or plan upgrades just to make more money from me like I’ve experienced with other stores.
I’d recommend this location to others if they need TMobile assistance in the area, but call ahead to check if they have the particular phone you want in stock in case the item you’re looking for is popular.

This guy is really something man, this is the epitome of an awesome local music store. Super helpful friendly owner, even sold me a brand new petal marked at $100 for 65, I didn’t even ask him to lower the price! Amazing selection for such a small store. I remember back in the day I used to go to All Star Guitar a ton when that was open, this place is even better.

This is the soul of music place…
I made the drive out here from spokane based on reviews I thought it would be worth it to check it out. I got there at 3:44 and it was closed. I understand it’s in a sort of secret place but if you’re gonna close early you should maybe close around half an hour early rather than nearly an hour and a half early.
It’s really too bad these geniuses have the most ridiculous hours of operation. Tried to explain to their feeble minds that people that can afford to spend money on musical instruments are WORKING for a living. Nobody is going to take time off of work to go shop at this place. Open at a decent hour and I’ll shop there. In the last 4 1/2 years, I’ve spent approx. $5,000.00 ELSEWHERE as a direct result of their terrible hours. This I must say is regrettable as I would much prefer to keep the money here in Post Falls. Note: I’ve heard these jokers complaining that sales are very poor at that store. No wonder.
I am on tour with my band, and I am in dire need of some new sticks. We call the store around 5:30 pm to ask them when they close. They close at 6pm and we tell them we are on our way right then. Get there at 5:45 pm and they are closed. I mean, no one there, they counted out, gone. I know many musicians who tour around the area often and I have told them to NOT go to this store. Go to Burts.
Miss Anna is an amazing music teacher and a talented musician. She really cares about her students and pushes them to strive for excellence! She does an amazing job showcasing her students at the fun recitals and it’s impressive that she teaches all age ranges the piano, ukulele, guitar and voice. She is on top of her game and at the height of the pandemic, we didn’t miss a class because she was already set up to teach virtually (way before virtual lessons became popular). We highly recommend Miss Anna for music lessons.
