Went in for mandolin strings, probably would’ve bought em here if they had Elixir. Employee made snarky comment as I walked out w nothing in hand. Perhaps if there were better choices I would’ve supported the small business :/
Place is never open-at least not during the posted hours when i have tried to stop in! Not a real useful store, if i can’t go in to buy something.
Came here twice. Hate driving out this way store was closed with no signage or reason. Called and no answer either. At least update your times or put a sign up

Finally checked out Stacks record shop! I have been clearing out the garage and needed to make space. I spoke to Gabe and he was kind enough to let me donate all my old vinyl. Gabe is easygoing and cool to talk to. We spoke about old mutual friends and the days of djing in the bay area. Can’t wait to come back and dig through all the vinyl! Gabe thanks again for letting me donate my records, I’m sure you’ll have a good use for them

This is the best place to sell your records they really do give you top dollar for stuff and much better than half price books and music inside is great and calm.
The best video/photo/music studio I have had the privilege to work at in the Bay Area. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and there to help content creators of all kinds produce top-quality production sets with a beautiful array of options. As a Photographer and Videographer, I was able to create pictures and films on a whole new level of production that greatly enhanced my business customer base; and for an affordable price. You will make so many connections here to people in the Media industry; this place is buzzing with beautiful models, talented artists, photographers, film teams, social media influencers, etc. etc.

Blown speakers (at least in our room), cheap sounding music.
A small room is 30 dollars. Alcohol is not allowed but there is a liquor store on the same corner as the business and its easy to bring if you don’t mind sneaking it in. The staff is nice and helpful. But the equipment is rather old. But it’s a good deal everything speaking.
The worst service I ever received in my life. Basically we were sat down and watched everyone around us getting service and not being served for about one hour. There were no alternative places to eat because this is the only late night spot. Basically no one knew who our server was, not even the manager. No one was nice or sympathetic besides the hostess. I honestly never seen anything like it and I have worked in the service industry my whole life.
room number 1 needs speaker updates. we had a blown speaker but still was fun.
The owner didn’t give me and my friends a price when we asked. He ignored the question, and then showed us to our room. Wish he would have gave us a bigger room for 19 people. Other than that we had a blast.

I have just purchased an Ecclesia T 370 Model from Mary.
You can’t help but be impressed by the effort she puts into making certain the Instrument is designed for the organist. I my case I deal with a cervical fusion limiting travel in my neck, and a previously repaired shoulder that still causes some discomfort.
She is adjusting the keyboards so the Great is on the bottom, followed by the Swell, and the Choir on the upper keyboard. An adjustable music rack is being added for neck comfort, and Rocker tabs are being used, so I don’t have to reach as high as I would with draw knobs.
She is in consultation with the President of Johannus US regarding speaker placement in my home.
Interestingly, my wife, who was attuned to the sound I was seeking sat in the middle of the church when I started to play the organ.
Not one word passed between us.
I placed a Trumpet tab on and played on note. She said to herself, I think he is going to buy it. I tried another tab and she said. He’s definitely going to buy it.
I have been playing a Pipe Organ in my home for over 40 years, so this is a giant leap for me. This is the first instrument I have played that meets the tonal qualities I have been looking for.
We drove from the central Oregon coast to Davis, California to try this Organ. I was not disappointed. Mary drove for 4 hours each way to meet me at the church. She is a very special person.

I recorded a CD 5 years ago had a fantastic experience Bob Nunes the owner was great to work with and he knows how to get great recordings. I was impressed that I’m back making a new EP at Hillside again .
Love this place! Great instructors, the students including me truly do get the attention, guidance, comprehensive instrumental & vocal instruction. Whether aspirations are to enjoy singing or playing an instrument for fun or for a future career, this is a great place to accomplish either.
What a great place
If you’re planning on taking guitar or bass lessons this is a great school. My instructor was Roland and he is very skillful in different types of guitar styles. He is very patient, kind, and has inspiration for his love in music. There are also other lessons with many passionate instructors waiting to get anyone started in those activities that might interest them. Prices aren’t too high in my opinion, but you get what you paid for and I think It’s a great investment if you’re pursuing music or just want to learn something new. Overall great school highly recommend for all ages.

Great small family music store that been there for decades with all the things most families need for their kids music studies, including books, reeds, strings, instruments, tuners, guitars, amps, bass, drums, horns, violins, etc. Nice staff that really tries to help.
Service was great. The person who helped me was nice and the tools were not that expensive. This store has greater prices than other stores. Purchase took a bit too long though.

its a great store but there’s a lot of bad stuff that happened to me when i was shopping there. The first thing was that it took almost 45 dollars to restring and tune my violin. i wasn’t too mad about that part but the thing that made me do the 3 star was that after 2 days, its out of tune. when i took my violin back from the shop, it seemed like the strings were really stiff and were extremely tight.
Left my guitar there for about 3 weeks and when I went there they still had me wait for 3 hours for my guitar and they wanted me to pay more after I payed 60 Bc I payed 60 for strings they have no idea what they are doing
My wife bought a string from this store. She said the person on the phone was friendly but when she arrived mood quickly changed, idk if because she is from Brazil or what. The string she bought, she put it on and after one use, it broke. I took it back for her because she had to work, and then wouldn’t accept a refund. I asked what the refund policy is and she didn’t give me an answer. I will never go back to this store or shop here again.
I dropped my guitar (floyd rose trem) off on a Wednesday to be re-strung, cleaned, and to have the intonation checked/fixed if needed for an upcoming show. The guy at the front desk told me they were busy, but that he would have it done by the following Monday (and said he would try to get it done even sooner). He quoted me $50-$60. All good so far.
Monday rolled around and I hadn’t heard from them, so I called myself. He said the guitar wasn’t done, but that it would definitely be done by Wednesday, and that he would call me. No call. I went in Thursday to pick it up. The guitar hadn’t been touched. The delay would have been acceptable if they just kept me updated, but after the runaround, I can’t recommend this place to anyone. Added an extra star because service was at least friendly, if anything. Go somewhere else for repairs/maintenance.
