Absolutely wonderful music lessons! Chris is great and his patience with the kids is amazing!
Nice People and nice servicio
I love this place, he always has what I need and know the answer to what ever I ask. I drive outta town because of that. Always well worth the trip.
I’ll give them 4 I haven’t had the time to talk to the owner yet. What I do know they have a great selection of guitars. And have just about anything else you may want. I’ll get to you after I talk to the owner.
Maybe I’m hard on this type of store, if you are a beginner at an instrument this is ok as you grow you expect more. Off brand music gear at name brand prices, you should go to bakers or guitar center.

LOVE IT GREAT MUSIC STORE …
I GO THERE ALL THE TIME FOR MY BOYFRIEND JOE LOCAL MUSICIAN… VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY BEEN IN TURLOCK FOR YEARS.
Very good place
Best place for all your musicians need
Its a nice music shop, and the owner is very knowledgeable in the topics of different instruments even if he isn’t always there himself
I’ve been dealing with Hendrickson’s music since 1962.
Very helpful.
Shady person.
I went in to the store to find some hardware and all the worker said that he didn’t have time. But then I called to ask for a drum set and he said he did have time.
Lots of overpriced instruments and accessories do your research on whatever you want before buying from here chances are that they are way more overpriced here than elsewhere
3. Dale’s Guitar & Music Lessons
Address: 2253 Geer Rd, Turlock, CA 95382 , Hilmar-Irwin , California , United States
Dale is my go to guy when I’m in search of parts for my own repairs in equipment or in search of a new (used) instrument to play (budget… Ya know?) He is always willing to help me with questions and concerns I may have about working on my stuff at home. I still play the old well used school violin from years ago, still get my classical guitar strings from him for my acoustic guitars (funk steel strings…) and the discount pedals I’ve acquired along the way.
The prices are reasonable, and better yet he knowledgeable. Wise enough to pass in straightforward informative insight when it comes to the technical difficulties inherent in owning instruments; repair. Trouble shooting, also is a strong point when interacting with him… He’s probably done the repair before or at least is familiar with the trouble. Helpful, would be a description I’d use. Very helpful.
Other music shops in TOWN usually just say gimme the instrument, and they’ll fix something at twice the price quoted gimme the money… I’d rather do it myself.
(Trust your mechanic)
Pssst hey, that’s YOU.
DIY or die. But it helps to have a place to go to for a few questions a look around at the parts that may be needed and Dale’s is a place that I have for at least ten years gone to for exactly that.
Cuz that’s where it’s at.
✌️
Great guy and family store if dale doesn’t have it he can get it..
Love Dale’s! Got a great deal on two kid’s guitars last Christmas. My two oldest have been taking lessons there for about eight months and love it. Their teacher, Danni (spelling?) is great and makes learning fun. Dale himself is great to deal with and always takes time to interact with my children. Dale’s is a great place to buy instruments and get lessons. Highly recommend!
I brought in my guitar last year, 2018, to get re-stringed and Chris was friendly, even polished and cleaned my guitar for me. This March I bought a clip on tuner for 20, and it sold at Guitar Center for 30. About to sign my nephews up for guitar lessons, will be updating review in a month.
Ya working here is pretty cool
I purached a violin for my daughter a while back. It worked for her to practice with about a year later she out grew it. I went in to get her a bigger one owner actually just did an even exchange to a nicer one with a case. Tuned it up and shes still using it till this day.
Do yourself a favor and check their prices with other sellers online and in store prices here are usually higher
They seem like really honest and great people but don’t let their way of speaking get the best of you. Double-check the prices online through Amazon or through the manufacturer of the instrument like fender, Cordoba, etc. Furthermore, sales are final when I went to buy a guitar $350 that is actually worth $160 at Walmart’s online store the owner said that I could only get store credit .
Sold me a bad violin.
