If your a vinyl head. This is your spot. Incredible
This place is amazing!! There’s so many vintage vynls and such a wide variety of classic and new age music, movies, cds and more. I’m so happy I found this place, if you haven’t been here before you should definitely come check it out!
So nice. Helpful. Good selection.
Cool little hole in the wall record store. It’s been there for a long time. A great way to spend a rainy afternoon.
VERY. ICE SALESMAN. POLITE AND INFORMATIVE. THANK YOU.
They have mainly vinyls , but surprisingly many CDs. Some CDs are even 94 cents! This store tends to lean more towards rock, country, and trendy American music. Definitely missing out a sector of the market for world music like Latin, French, and beyond that customers want to add to their at-home listening collection
Nice guy at the counter, but their prices have doubled in the last year.
I remember back in the day my dad and I used to come there every weekend to buy albums and concert tickets great experience glad you still around it been thirty some aut years
Arrived at 5:30 when they close at 7pm to look and no signs it was just closed! Drove over an hour. Very disappointed.
GREAT staff! Extremely friendly and patient. Bought a beginner’s guitar for my son. Did not want to spend a lot of money on it, as I don’t know if he will like it. The store was busy, but still felt like we were the only ones in the store, as the team was so helpful. They allowed my son to play on a couple of guitars and he was over the moon. Chris helped us mostly and he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you… we will be back!
Super bien la amabilidad de los que atienden la recomiendo encuestas de todo lo que buscas y barato
Excelente atención . El muchacho q atiende es muy amable. Le explicó todo lo q necesitaba mi hija para su Violín.
The staff was very helpful in answering my questions even though they didn’t have a Cello my son’s size in stock it was a very informative visit
Very small selection of guitars and amps
Pretty good little shop. Friendly staff. Does inhouse lessons. Mainly focused on school band instruments.
Worst customer service lack of communication yes the first time this is happening need to tran the employee better and teach them how to communicate with us the customer and I never received any response from the manager at all
I signed my daughter up for beginner violin lessons and out of 8 weeks of lessons 3 were cancelled – one of them we sat and waited for 25 min before they said the teacher wasn’t coming. I understand that emergencies happen once in a while but it turned out to be way more of a hassle to try to schedule make up classes or get my money back. Very unreliable and disappointing.
Also many times I was told I would receive a phone call about make up lessons or refunds and I always ended up having to reach out to figure out what was going on. Would not recommend for their lessons services!
I was not impressed with this location. The manager on the phone sounded friendly, but was slightly strange and rude in person. They were very disorganized and their computer system constantly would not be working. The bathroom was out of order all the time. when you walk in there is a horrible smell with a dingy feel to it. The rest of the staff was nice but poorly managed. I think this franchise is only looking to make money and not have personal relationships with their customers who come in for lessons. I would steer away from music and arts, because I’ve had similar experience when I lived in Connecticut as well. find yourself a local place that offers lessons on a personal level.
I found the guitar strings I needed quickly and Joseph E. was a nice help.
The service was great considering how understaffed the store was. The associates were very help and I was able to find what I needed and be out of the store in 20 minutes
Where I got my sustain pedal from. This store is where some of my music friends go to. Shopping/looking here is lovely 🙂
I was trying out acoustic guitars looking to make a purchase when an employee came in the room and told me to stop trying out guitars as he had to sanitize them at the end of the day. The proceeded to slam the door on the way out hard enough to shake the wall and give everyone inside the room a scare.
I did end up purchasing solely because the price was too good to find anywhere else, but will not be coming back
Edit: Was called and apologized to. I can appreciate a store that is actively working to resolve problems.
Customer service not very good. I had to wait too long.
I have been at the store and have purchased several guitars over the years have had some great experiences. I used to shop there when Mike Spagnoli worked in the store. The staff seems to be nice and knowledgeable. However I found the store manager seem to lack professionalism. I was shopping at the store one day when one of guitar staff Made a political statement about kid Rock. I was shocked because his statement was totally unprofessional and very tasteless When I brought it up with the general manager he seemed to just shrug it off as to, oh that’s just the world we live in now and didn’t offer any apology for the actions of his staff. Don’t get me wrong everybody is entitled to their opinion. Just not at work I didn’t agree with him and honestly his language and remarks where distasteful. I just decided I didn’t want to shop at a store where the staff can just decide to deliver unsolicited tasteless opinions and language without recourse or apologies . Music stores are like my Disney World. I enjoy looking at guitars and playing them and occasionally buying one or two not to mention accessories.
This was my first time coming into Sam Ash. The service was poor, I walked around for 10 minutes looking for someone to help me and no one was available. The store is not fairly priced and I will probably never visit again.
Sam Ash on E. Colonial dr. Closed there doors at 6:45 to make it looks like there closed. If I wouldn’t got out my truck to see if the door was lock I would have not being able to purchase my DJ Equipment.
I buy most of my equipment from American musical supply but i needed and adapter and headphones so i made the trip to your store. I was looking at the adapters for what seemed like a long period of time and not one person asked if I needed help. SO I grabbed the headphones and went to check out and the guy at the check out made a comment on how he did not make commission and was deciding on who to give it to is when I said no one because not one person asked me if I needed help. So i went home and ordered it online and it will be at my door tomorrow by the time i get home from work. Wont go back unless it is something I absolutely have to have right then.
I love it here. We are helped to learn about our true selfves here, about our gifts, intuition, energy. We also meditate here with Kara, she knows how to relax us. I’ve always been drawn to things like that, but never knew a place to go. Now I know the place! Thanks to my friend ❤️
I feel so blessed to be a part of this space from hosting classes and Drum circles to all the amazing items for sale. Looking forward for more people to find this amazing space.
There is something for everyone here. I never seem to walk out empty handed! Definitely one of my go to places for gifts. Kara always keeps the shop looking new with different merchandise.
13. Latin American Pawn Shop
Address: 3701 S Orange Blossom Trl, Orlando, FL 32839 , Holden Heights , Florida , United States
I visited this store and an employee named Edwardo helped me out and it was very good service
Best pawnshop in Orlando thus far I’ve been to. Very reliable an fast.
Son los duros de los duros preguntar por Eduardo dime q vas de parte de BUDA
Me gusta por sus buenas atenciones y la consideraciones en los precios
Magnifico me atendieron muy bien los recomiendo mucho gracias
bes pawn shop they offerd me more than La Familia and Value Pawn did shop here at Latin AMERICAN PAWN!
$60 dealer fee, having an item shipped there (with background check) doesn’t seem reasonable. ‘Business is Business’ I suppose
RUDE RUDE RUDE STAFF! I went into this shop on Sunday morning and was treated very rudely by the two staff members working there. The man who waited on me spoke no English and was talking about me and laughing too his coworker and another Spanish speaking customer in store. I understand enough Spanish to know this. The other man working there had to interpret for him to me. I guess if you do not speak Spanish you are not welcome at this pawn shop. I spend a lot of money on jewelry both vintage and custom made; for myself and family and we’ll be bringing none of my business here ever ! PS I found another shop that was more than happy to sell me what I was shopping for. And also the gold bracelet that you guys said was fake was real 18 karat gold.
The people are rude, they buy from you at a low price. Then resale at 100%. Just don’t waist ur time
14. Red Lion Recording Studio
Address: 5500 Commerce Dr, Orlando, FL 32839 , Holden Heights , Florida , United States
The studio is super awesome all up to date technology and has an awesome vibe to go with as well. The owners are super helpful and provide a creative space for artist to really let loose! By far the best studio I’ve been to!
I get the privilege to call Caine and Gus friends as well as work along side them occasionally. This studio is on top of top of the line. If you’re ready to take your project to the highest tier of quality, give them a call and schedule. You won’t be disappointed.
Red lion is THE BEST RECORDING STUDIO IN CENTRAL FLORIDA hands down. Gustavo is very knowledgeable and professional. The studio itself is top of the line, I recommend this studio 100%
15. Ace Music Academy
Address: 3975 S Orange Blossom Trl Suite 113, Orlando, FL 32839 , Holden Heights , Florida , United States
Ryan is a great teacher for my children and self. He is organized and gives great examples to understand terms or music theory. We are happy.
My daughter has been learning guitar with Ryan for about two months now and it’s been a great experience. She enjoys her lessons and he’s been great at personalizing lessons for her age.
My five-year-old son’s piano lessons have been going great. Ryan is patient and interacts comfortably with him; a natural teacher. His techniques work, and my son, Odin, who has been schooled at home and has so far been disinterested in outside teachers, looks forward to his weekly lesson. In fact, it’s been going so well that after last weeks lesson, Odin began humming notes, saying, ‘This is an A,’ and ‘This is an F,’ and when we check the notes on the piano, he’s correct and on pitch! It’s only been 6 weeks. The consistency of the lessons, the materials, Ryan’s teaching style..it’s all coming together and bringing something out in my son that my husband and I are really excited about.
The website on their Groupon was wrong. The website on google maps is wrong. The website on their website and Facebook is different than the one on the Groupon and google maps. I made an appointment with them and showed up to the address on the Groupon 30 minutes early but the store was nowhere to be found. I asked the stores in the plaza and nobody had heard of Ryan Ace Music. I called and left four voicemails asking for help and nobody called me back. It’s been over a week and still I have heard from nobody. Terrible customer service and don’t seem to care about the customer.
16. Iconic Vision Recording Studios
Address: 1718 Acme St, Orlando, FL 32805 , Holden Heights , Florida , United States
Did a killer job on new train horns and new system for my truck, I’m picky about who I’ll leave my truck with, I’m very impressed
Chris is amazing
Great Service!!!!
I came to Auto Sound Factory as a referral from my Mechanic. I was told to talk to Chris who gave me a competitive quote that seemed pretty fair.
I have raised my initial review by a couple of stars because I believe the instillation quality was superb. Wires were well hid and everything functions as it should. If you already have the components you want and you’re just looking to have someone install it for you at a decent price, this place is a good for that, for sure.
I was also disappointed by a couple of things. First, Chris said a new head unit and speakers would “sound better” than my factory installed system, and I was told I just had to go home and EQ it. To my ears at least, the factory unit still sounded better than what I ended up with when I bought it off of his recommendation over the phone. I realize that sound is a subjective experience and I know nothing about car audio so I may not have been clear enough in describing what I wanted.
Second, when I asked if the new speakers would match the RMS power output of the head unit, I was told “yes, they do.” So I went ahead and bought the new speakers and new head unit together. When I went home to spend some time tweaking the sound settings, it still sounded kinda stinky so I looked at the receipt to see what exact speaker model was installed so I could verify that the head unit RMS power matches the speaker RMS power. On the receipt they gave me, all that was written under the speakers was “speakers” – no brand or model name. I suppose I could take my door trim off the car door and unscrew the speaker to double check, but really, should I have to do that?
After a week of tests and internet research, I tried to call Chris back a couple of times to see if I could do anything to make the system sound better. Every time I called I either couldn’t get a hold of him or I left a message to have him call me back. After a couple of weeks it was apparent that it wasn’t going anywhere so I just gave up.
Cool
Amazing service and way cheaper than most Audio places.
They always have an excuse to dont help you and the white girl that work in front store is always rude I been coming to here more than 10 time diferents days and always is the same not recommended this place
Does nice work but the lady that assist customers is horrible! Definitely need to work on her customer service skills.
Hate to do it, but I am left with no choice. Gave them my car to do 2 15″ subs with 3 amplifiers, door speakers and panels. Well, over a year and a half later, they started working on it. They started with the subwoofer box when all hell broke loose. Caught the employees smoking weed while installing my $500 each Wilwood big brake calipers kit. Had to shut it down when I saw that they couldn’t cut a straight line. Was a total mess and a total waste of time. You can try it if you want to, but not for me. We reap what we sow. Hope this helps anyone from making a huge mistake.
Recording at Evermore Sound was the best experience I’ve had in the studio. Luke is a tremendous engineer, mixing artist, singer, guitarist and Producer. He has an amazing ear and really made my song shine. The studio’s gear is top notch. Great mixing board, mics, compressors, EQs, acoustics. You name it. If you have a song, EP or Album that needs a totally professional sound, look no further than Evermore Sound. I’ll be going back for sure! Thanks Luke!
We chose Evermore Sound Studio to record our album and we couldn’t be happier. Luke is very experienced, he recorded, mixed and helped produce a product that we are very proud of. Luke made the whole process very enjoyable, we had lots of laughs throughout the experience, he was super easy to work with. We highly recommend Evermoresound for your next project!
Awesome experience!! Luke is a really nice laid back guy and extremely knowledgeable. The studio was impressive and the recording session exceeded my expectations. I’m an electronic music producer and wanted to add a touch of acoustic guitar to my newest remix. I am glad I found Luke and Evermore Sound because they helped me achieve exactly that and it sounds great! Will definitely be returning for future projects!
Evermore Studios was an awful experience for me. When I got my first mix, I couldn’t believe it. It was awful, the engineer literary had no personality and his work was disgusting, horrible, terrible, dreadful, nasty, vile, foul, revolting, repulsive, repugnant, odious, sickening, nauseating; so I immediately asked for my money back. I hate to think that I had to click on one star to provide this rating about Evermore Studios of Orlando, FL.
$150 an hour is a bit too high. It does seem like they have nice equipment. Doing an album project and the price is just too high. Couldn’t book because of price. I self produce, so only an engineer was needed.
Does not know about R&B music but said he does. More about the money then the artist. I went there and he always debated with me about my own music. Trusted him to mix my song and when I got back it wasn’t nothing I said or asked for. So I decided to take my project somewhere else and tried to get my files back but keep avoiding me. I called and called and still nothing so I went to the studio and they said they don’t have to give me nothing since I fired them. Now their saying they deleted them. Now I don’t know if you know that studios are not suppose to delete files due to remixes or re-produced songs ect. songs should always be open for artist to always have excess to. I have been in lots of studios and every studio still have my files even from 10 years old. They were very unprofessional and rude. But also nice looking studio but the studio look isn’t what makes the song come alive the engineer is. l got better quality in a littler studio but as I said THE ENGINEER MAKES THE MUSIC COME ALIVE.
20. Best in Brass: Florida’s Wedding & Event Orchestra
William performed while I walked down the aisle, and I cannot recommend enough! Professional, fairly priced, and excellent communication. Best in Brass helped create a beautiful ambiance for my wedding ceremony.
I have heard William perform at several weddings, funerals, and other events over the last 10-15 years. He is a fine musician who earned his masters in trumpet at Northwestern University, and works diligently on his craft! Extremely well-mannered, respectful, and pleasant company. You most certainly will be glad you selected Best in Brass to play at your event!
This quartet was one of the best parts of our wedding day! They were a joy to work with throughout the entire planning process as William was quick and thorough in answering all of my questions and requests. They even specially arranged some of our favorite songs from LaLa Land and Game of Thrones. They were beyond talented; professional and kind! They truly added a touch of magic to our happiest day. Our guests were all commenting on how impressive the music was. VERY highly recommend!
