Great collection of all types of vinyl run by a very exceptional lady.
If you like music you have no option but to visit this record shop that contains 40,000+ vinyl albums. While classical and jazz are the bulk of the volume, they have some interesting R & B, a great soundtracks section, country, rock, 50s singers and crooners, etc. There are some real finds in the store. It’s well organized by musical genre and alphabetical. And the 4 discs I purchased were in incredible condition for 60+ year old records. And the gentlemen who owns the store knows his stuff. Make a list of what you are looking for before you go and you may be rewarded by a few original pressing discs that you’ve had on your radar for awhile.
Very clean space but only classical and jazz, and the jazz is more than half late 50s, beat copies, thrift store fodder. Worth a stop if you are in the mountains.
A treasure of wonderful items, however don’t go there expecting the latest Kings Of Leon or Parquet Courts. This is all vintage. The pricing, also, is sometimes a deal, sometimes inflated by what I’ve found online. But the character of this store, and the wonderful man who is himself a great character and knowledgeable, make this a must visit. Just choose a random vinyl, take it home, and enjoy your adventure.
Art knows his stuff, but don’t trust his prices. They are typically double or triple what they should be. Nothing is marked. Don’t let him fool you.

Audiowild is the place to go when you are trying to capture that sound that just happens to escape your eardrums. Brian is a wizard at what he does and gets it when you say hey, ” I need this to sound a certain way” and boom! He figures a way to make it come out of the speakers. Can not speak highly enough about this place as a spot to record your music. Keep in mind you’re on top of the world up there and in the center of town which is just amazing.
Perfect little spot for the best live music of all varieties. The owner is a local extremely talented musician and digital creator that has built a very unique and promising place to enjoy your favorite artists. It’s got a cool speak easy type vibe and the crowd is fun, welcoming and lively. I highly recommend it! Look for the colored flashing lights they turn on whenever they have a show happening!
Steve is an expert! He has worked on 3 of my guitars (2 electric and 1 acoustic). He was able to adjust them to factory specs and did some serious repair work to my 12-string acoustic. They all play much better now and sound fantastic!
Once again, very pleased with Nomadic Guitar Repair!
Steve did a wonderful job completely overhauling my Epiphone Wilshire. That’s way better than before. Additionally, Steve is excellent at communicating, following-up, and making pick ups and drop offs easy, whether it be in Idyllwild or in Los Angeles. I highly recommend him. I definitely plan on being a repeat customer. Thanks Steve!
Steven is so good at what he does, I will always use him for all my guitar repairs from this point on. With his multiple locations for pick and curbside service it’s a no brainer. Very clean, very prompt and thorough. I swear I want to play more now.
6. The Rock Shoppe
Address: 54245 N Circle Dr #C7, Idyllwild-Pine Cove, CA 92549 , Idyllwild , California , United States
Best shop ever definitely recommend the worker named Cindy is the best and should totally get a raise
On my vacation from MI to CA I had a chance to stop at this cute rock & mineral shop. I loved the seeing this young lady reading a book she found about minerals. Even though the store was busy, the owners were very happy to answer customers question. If I get back to CA I will make sure I get back to the ROCK SHOPPE in IDYLLWILD, CA.
A wonderful shop! Definitely recommend stopping in. A friend and I stopped by after the renaissance faire. The people behind the counter were very welcoming and friendly. They have wonderful specimens and great prices. They are way cheaper compared to a couple other rock shops up there. I personally love how everything is by weight. Ended up getting a good sized amethyst cluster, clear quartz, smokey quartz, black tourmaline, kyanite, carnelian, and a couple selenite sticks. The man ringing me up was nice enough to not charge me for something he couldn’t figure out how to ring up. I do wish I got a couple towers though. Will definitely be back next time I visit!
Nice little place for aspiring young rockhounds.
GREAT collection of gems, stones, rocks, geodes and more. Definitely worth the stop. I’m glad I found this store.
threatening people apparently??? wouldn’t have believed it if i hadn’t seen several first-hand accounts from people i know personally. feel sick to my stomach that i’ve given money to this business. there are other crystal stores in idyllwild. take your business elsewhere

If you love antique shops then this is the place to visit. The shop has so any items from decades past including appliances, dishes, jewelry, records, clothes. There are pieces that can be used in period movies and tv shows. I love to go there when I visit Idyllwild, CA. It is just a short walk from the town center of Idyllwild.
Great variety of collectors items
Love this place, great antiques
Interesting things galore.
Quaint little antique store that embodies the virtues of a small town.
Lot of fun stuff
8. Ephemera

Very positive energy from the second I walked in., The music, the atmosphere, all around every single detail was phenomenal. I can’t forget to mention the customer service was A+ thank you Harley your personality fits perfect for this gem of a shop
Brilliantly curated by two owners who have their style down to a T. If you love vintage, look no further than Ephemera. I even learned a new word!
Fantastic establishment with a great crew to boot!! Have without a doubt picked up some of my favorite items from here !!
Place is cute. Very 80s. Prices are decent for the quality of their goods. They are in good conditions and everything is nicely displayed and organized. However , they very young customer service is rude and condescending. Immediately telling me things are expensive not once but twice. If I wanted to I could bought what I was looking at if I wanted too. I did however buy couple items cause they were really cute. But, again the immature young girl came off offensive.
Disappointed in our trip to this store yesterday. We drove up from Temecula just to visit this store specifically because we saw some pretty cool things last time we visited. My sister was so excited to see a jean outfit that was hanging from the ceiling and asked the girl who was working there (yesterday 4/16) if she can try on the outfit and the girl told my sister, “well it’s $500.” OKAY MS. JUDGY PANTS (lol)!! We didn’t ask you what the price was!! It felt like a scene from Selena or Pretty Women! Please please please train your employees a little better! This can come off as very rude, as if we can’t afford it. We’ve been to this store before. We know what kind of prices they have. We were 100% ready to buy that outfit, if it fit. But honestly we were quite offended and decided just to leave. Almost gave 1 star because of the experience alone. 3 stars because the store itself still has really cool things, but again, please address these type of comments with your employees. Not okay! Thank you!
incredibly overpriced clothing. trying to capitalize off of the trend of vintage clothing leads to this store inflating the prices of all their pieces. saw a “do the right thing” t shirt for $144, it was not vintage. i made 1 quick google search and found the exact same shirt for $26.
This shop is super cool and cute BUT the worker was very rude did not greet us. Instead just stared at me and my partner the whole time like we were gonna steal. For a business that claims it’s LGBTQ friendly they act like such snobby A@$ holes and judgemental as hell which is a shame they have soooooo many cute things but with such nasty attitude makes you not wanna buy anything.
