Lindo lugar , mucha historia musical! Me encantó.
Tons of awesome used CDs and vinyl.
I didn’t go here for the selection of musical instruments, but they do have quite a bit. I went here to dive into their record bins. They have a pretty good selection at reasonable prices. Check it out if you are in town!
I have purchased a few guitars from here.I love thats it is community owned, the owner works the counter most days, he is a good guy who lives to share his passion of music
Also has a great record selection for sale!

3. Evergreen Violin Lessons
Address: 23005 Kiowa Rd, Indian Hills, CO 80454 , Indian Hills , Colorado , United States
I studied violin with Barb from 1st-8th grades. She not only provided valuable violin guidance but was also a great role model for me. Her upbeat, friendly demeanor was one reason I fell in love with playing and improving. With the great foundation she provided me, I went on to be concertmaster of the DYAO, first prize winner of the Greeley Phil concerto competition, as well as earning a Masters degree, with a full ride scholarship, in Violin Performance from Boston University. I went on to perform full time, winning positions with professional orchestras such as the New World Symphony under Michael Tilson Thomas, the New Mexico Symphony and the Louisiana Philharmonic. I highly recommend Barb as a teacher!
I studied with Mrs. Casanova from age nine to when I was a sophomore in high school. She was and still is one of the best mentors I’ve ever had. She is a wonderful, experienced, and knowledgeable teacher who takes the necessary time to teach students how to play the violin well. Lessons with her are always super engaging and fun. Mrs. Casanova helped me achieve accomplishments like Colorado All State Orchestra and concertmaster positions and has guided me on the path to becoming a music major in college. Recently, I have passed all of my prescreen auditions, one of them being for The Oberlin Conservatory of Music and another for the Eastman School of Music. Without Mrs. Casanova, I wouldn’t be where I am now with violin and I am extremely grateful for her in my life. 100% recommend studying with her.
We love taking lessons from Barb Casanova! My daughter (8) says “She’s very nice and I like learning from her because I learn really fast the way it is taught. Barb is one of the nicest people and I am glad I am taking violin lessons from her. I really appreciate that I can pet the dog at the end of my lesson as a reward. I am excited that she has taught me all this stuff and I will remember it forever. She has taught me three songs in such a short time and she’s a wonderful teacher!” As a Mom, I appreciate Barb’s energy, her patience, and knowledge. We look forward to our lessons and find it easy to keep up at home between lessons. Overall, I am glad we found such a gem of a violin teacher to help us grow in our skills!

Address: 4095 Evergreen Parkway Access Rd Suite 130, Evergreen, CO 80439 , Indian Hills , Colorado , United States
I have been a student of James for 7 years, and I couldn’t be happier with what has occurred over the past years. I have learned how to play piano, guitar, ukulele, and many more and it has been a large part of my life.
We had Dan play for our wedding last weekend and he was wonderful. After communicating back and forth for over a year (thanks COVID…), he made our ceremony so special. Everyone loved the music and Dan was great to work with.
Dan is so great! He always brings the party love going to his concerts

Located inside the Trading post, a small museum full of the rich music history at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Very nice tribute to the late John Denver, including the stunning outdoor spirit sculpture. We had a very enjoyable visit.
Great history of Red Rocks music venue
Great museum for Colorado Music! The museum has a whole room for John Denver, a must see for any John Denver fan. It is housed in a historic trading post building. They are even still adding to the museum. I always enjoy visiting the Trading Post.
Cool place to visit! View is amazing.
I hadn’t been to this Colorado Music Hall of Fame since they moved a few blocks from their previous spot. Such a better experience than at guitar center. I don’t know the name of the guy who helped me in the acoustic room, but he was very nice/insightful. My kids had a good time at the store too! They were even given lollipops.
Very cool place. The guy that cashed us out was very rude
I was not necessarily planning on buying an instrument while on a roadtrip with an already packed car. But the owner is a great guy and the shop has a great collection of instruments so I couldn’t resist packing the car up just a little more!
Absolutely my first and only choice in music stores. They have everything i need to play and maintain my instruments, Doug takes great care of all my instruments, AND teaches me how to care for them. When i’m in the market for anything new or different in my musical life, this is the place i go. Doug is so knowledgeable, skilled, and personable, and a great asset to our community!
Drove 600 miles to buy a uke from this guy. He was in the middle of a lesson when we walked in and was immediately peeved. I picked up the uke from the bottom shelf and it slid out of my fingers 4″ to the floor. He barked, “Be careful!”. We walked out.
Absolutely rude and awful shop keep. “Just leave me alone ” is not what one expects when inquiring about a guitar. Came in looking for a mandolin and had to leave right away. Very upsetting. Never visiting again.
14. Bagpiper & Guitarist- Michael Lancaster
Address: 24049 High Meadow Dr, Golden, CO 80401 , Indian Hills , Colorado , United States
Michael did a phenomenal job at our wedding this summer! He didn’t miss any of the important details and everything went super smooth with him as our MC. He was very responsive through the planning process, too. Highly recommend!
Michael did our wedding back in October, and was fantastic!! He was there for the walkthrough, on time for the ceremony, and very quick to reply via email. Most importantly, he played beautifully and brought tears to everyone’s eyes as the bride was coming down. I highly recommend him for your event!
Michael kept people on the dance floor! We never stopped dancing! He also plays his guitar wonderfully for the wedding ceremony. Nothing but great comments from us and our guests!
I was so hurt by this DJ. The communication was poor. It will forever be a sore spot for my special day, he was very disappointing.
The bagpiping was a nice addition, many guests enjoyed it. Our sincere thanks to him for standing in the very cold weather in his kilt.
As far as the playlist, my fault for not pushing back more when he kept saying everything looked great without any questions. It was confusing because he initially said we should build the playlist ourselves if we wanted to specify all the songs for the evening. He then said that wasn’t necessary, but the playlist that we spent hours compiling wasn’t played. We would have been receptive to more of an open dialogue on what he thought would work best. Instead it felt like he disregarded what we asked for and just played a bulk of song that he felt like playing.
We had made a list of songs for dinner time that we loved and he played other songs, including songs I hated. What was wrong with what we requested?? During the reception he showed that he had built what appeared to be our whole requested playlist. What doesn’t make sense is why he played so little of it and why he didn’t communicate with us more if he wasn’t going to play more of it.Were we supposed to go up and request songs that we did want to hear one by one?
Our guests did enjoy dancing to what he played. However, if for example he felt that a lot of our songs were not going to be crowdpleasers, then I really really wish we would have had more of a conversation about it and discussed it more. It would have been nicer to build a list that he thought was a crowd pleaser, that we would have also had to buy in on.
Peneplain played at our wedding and were great! Jerry was very professional from the beginning, describing the different styles and instrument options upfront. The band was fantastic on the day of, providing just the right moods for our cocktails and dinner. I’d highly recommend this group for anyone in the Denver area.
The guys at Peneplain Jazz are amazing. They played at my husband and my 20th wedding anniversary last night in Boulder, and we could not have been more thrilled with their performance. The music was the perfect style for our event, and the musicians calibrated the sound level perfectly, adjusting when necessary to accommodate the noise level in the room and allow for conversation. Also, Jerry was a pleasure to work with — he was very professional and responsive to my questions leading up to the event. I highly recommend Peneplain Jazz for any party where you want to enliven the atmosphere and make the evening special!
Peneplain performed at our corporate function held at the Broadmoor Hotel in April 2013. They were extremely professional, prompt, and very entertaining. They were perfect for creating an elegant classy mood at the event. We had volume sensitivities but a huge crowd (~500) and they handled the challenge very well. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for some classy entertainment.
16. Rockley Music Center
Address: 4880 N Robb St #1, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 , Indian Hills , Colorado , United States
Wanted to say how I enjoyed working with Scott at Rockley. I purchased two Korg SP-280s. Scott made sure I was aware of all my keyboard options, helped me chose the best piano for my needs and then matched another dealer’s price for me. The entire experience was a joy. Scott even sang for us-an added bonus!
Appreciate the numerous ideas
Great place to get musical instruments anywhere from pianos to keyboards to violins, and guitars. My brother has a couple guitars from Rockley’s which have served him well. My wife just bought a Roland Keyboard from here which was an excellent price for excellent quality!
Service is HORRIBLE!! I have been there several times and each time the employees are extremely rude. I suport local business but I’d rather go to Guitar Center than this place.
No matter what extension you press, nobody answers the phone. Some extensions even say “Your call can not be transferred. Please try again later.”
For all I know they have great instruments at great prices. But they refuse to answer the phone so I’ll never know.
I drove by Rockley Music today and saw the “STORE CLOSING” sign on the building. I remember going into Rockley music with my parents when I was a kid. My dad still plays guitar and enjoyed going into Spaceman Guitars to see Chris Thomas. When I saw the sign, it concerned me that Spaceman Guitars was closing as well. Thankfully, I found out that they had just moved down the road to their own building located on the north east corner of Colfax and Kipling, right next to Metro PCS. It is sad to see that after almost 70 years Rockley’s is closing their store, but happy to know that Spaceman Guitars is still around for our family, but specifically for my dad because he likes the personal attention he gets from Chris.
Don’t think that piano salesmen are any different than car salesman! Some are making an honest living and some are trying to take you for everything you’re worth. Do your research before coming into this store!!
These guys are big time scammers. The pianos they’re selling are marked up nearly double what they’re worth brand new. Some decent grands (also overpriced) but the pearl river pianos are cheap junk that they tune up to sound nice in the store but the material quality is such that the piano turns to mush in 5 years or less. So much for an investment, you’ll be trying to give it away for free in 5 years with no takers.
17. TR Music & Voice Lessons
Address: 26174 Seitz Rd, Kittredge, CO 80457 , Indian Hills , Colorado , United States
Best music store in town. Knowledgeable long term staff. If you have a question they have the answer. The selection on the floor is massive. Better service than the big chains.
My daughter’s instructor, Laura, whom she absolutely loves, is an excellent teacher who knows how to make it fun. We have participated in 4 recitals and thoroughly enjoyed the moving and memorable experiences. We are proud to be a part of the
My child’s voice lessons with their instructor have produced remarkable growth. The instructor’s ability to identify areas for improvement and provide effective strategies is truly impressive.
my daughter has been having guitar lessons here for 3 months. she was a total beginner but has learnt loads and we’re happy with her progress. They are really flexible with lessons, and where able to give face time lessons
This is an excellent Music Studio! Would highly recommend.
Both of my daughters take piano lessons from Elizabeth Barmann, and from the very beginning, she was warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Several months in, we are blown away at how quickly both girls are learning and touched by the confidence they have, which has been built up through Ms. Elizabeth’s encouragement. Evergreen School of Music has made lessons–and so much more that comes through learning an instrument–accessible to our family and our children are better for it.
I’ve been taking guitar lessons for about a year, as an adult. I started because my son also takes guitar from Kevin. Kevin is a patient teacher, and really tailors lessons to student interests. My other son also takes piano and trumpet at ESOM, and again, the teachers are amazing – with a focus on fundamentals, ensemble, and performances.
